i visited this place twice almost 10 years ago. i still remember how this cafes burger was delicious... i will have no chance to visit here again because im not living in Canada but i wish i can someday.

My favourite breakfast joint. Whenever I am up North to Owen Sound I grab a couple loafs of cheddar and chive bread. To die for!

Great food, wonderful home made breads. My only complaint is that the teabags are awful and that the milk is left out on the table and is off.

5/5 bread. 0/5 customer service. I visited this cafe on my way home and wanted pick up a loaf of bread (because my friends had previously bought a loaf and it was delicious!). It was my first time here. Needless to say, I have never felt so unwelcome in a cafe, nor experienced such hostility from staff when all I asked was if they had bread available

One of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive ever had! My bf and I were just passing through town and needed a bite, they got us a couple sandwiches to go even though they were really busy with table service and the Cheese and Chive bread was so good Ive been talking about it all day!

Best breakfast in the area. Been going here since I was in highschool and have always been impressed, good pricing and fresh bread! Hard to find a better spot I use this restaurant to set the standards on breakfast joints.

The best breakfast Ive eaten from a cafe in my life! From the moment we entered the Dragonfly cafe we knew wed found something special. Our server welcomed us enthusiastically and warmly. We selected a table and the menus were there waiting, which allowed browsing immediately. The menu had a fair selection of food that I have not seen in many other breakfast establishments. From eggs Benny to a traditional breakfast, to french toast dipped in corn flakes. Theres something for everyone here. The true star of the show is the house baked bread. Caraway rye, egg bread, marble rye, and many more. This bread is sliced thick and so fresh. I enjoyed my breakfast bake with sausage, scrambled eggs and home fries, it was perfectly seasoned and incredibly delicious. My companions enjoyed the deluxe french toast and egg Benny respectively. Everything was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and served in generous portions.we could not believe that three adult meals came in under $70 with a generous tip. If you need a healthy dose of joy with a side of love in the food, go to this gem. You will not be disappointed.

The server was kind and friendly, giving you the time to choose your meal. She checked in to see if we needed anything and if we enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was clean, the seats were a little more private rather than open. Over all experience was amazing! Food

I am a breakfast man and I can honestly say these were the best pancakes I ever had in my life. Oh man, fried onions cooked tomato with a fried egg on top and pemeal bacon on the bottom. Wow.

My famuly and I love eating breakfast here! Not only are prices very reasonable, the food is delicious! All the bread is homemade...plus you have a choice of 8 different types of bread. I think the jam is homemade too. Finally, the staff is always warm and welcoming. You cannot go wrong eating here! Parking: There is plenty of parking, both in front and on the side of the building. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. I saw a family using a booster seat. There is food children will like on the menu.

Came with my mom (a senior), and she doesnt eat a lot, and they had a senior breakfast that was just the right amount. Food was great minus the home fries servers didnt quight listen (had to ask multiple times for multiple things) but the atmosphere is awsome its a quiet little diner on the outskirts of town and very pretty

We came here for breakfast amd sat on the small outside patio. The service was amazing, and the bread is made every day fresh. This place is a must visit for breakfast.

Some restaurants are charming but cost you an arm and a leg. Other places are inexpensive but the food is only so-so. If you are looking for a place with great atmosphere where you can order whatever kind of tasty breakfast your heart may desire and have it served to you with a smile, then look no further - this is the place for you. Im from Montreal and the food I ordered was obviously prepared with care. Gave me a full happy belly and sent me on my way feeling good.

Great little breakfast and lunch spot. The food was good and the service was great. Food came out quickly and the coffee was not too bad. They have a great selection of breads which is a great addition to a breakfast joint. The place is not too big and it was very busy, so it could be hard to get a table. I had a classic eggs and bacon with home fries and was happy. The home fries were excellent, not just out of a fryer, and actually with eating. The cheddar and jalapeno bread was great as well. I would recommend eating here!

We had been wanting to eat here for a while and today we finally did. The prices are good, the portions are big and the food is fantastic. The bread was freshly baked and amazingly delicious, the home fries were really good (and spicy) and the bacon was perfectly done. If you want a big breakfast out for a good price that s really delicious, this is the spot.

Todays special was a pulled pork quesadilla. It was very yummy!!

We highly recommend the Dragonfly café for breakfast and brunch. Portions are large. Food is excellent. There is often a huge crowd and as a result service can be a bit slow, but staff always does the best they can. I have also been here for lunch. I strongly recommend you request no salt on your food. Although the soup and western sandwich were good, the sodium levels were way too high for me. If you are on a low sodium diet, or like me, would rather salter your own food, make sure you let the wait staff know when you place your order.

Great place for breakfast, cheddar chive bread is awesome the prices were very low considering the portion size. I really enjoyed breakfast here and will return!

Small in space but HUGE ON TASTE. If you are looking for fast food with generic service this place is not for you. However if you enjoy fresh food cooked to order and dont mind waiting 15-20 min for food (even eggs) that come out still hot..Then you must eat here. Not a heat lamp in the place.

The food is cooked to order, the bread is fresh baked in house and the staff are amazing! They always make you feel at home, even when they are super busy.

Its a cute little local cafe, with great food. Very nice servers looked like family-owned places. Their bakery stuff like muffins was so authentic, rich in taste, and not too sweet just the perfect! I made a quick stop here for the washroom, they said its for customers use only which made more sense when I got to use it as it was really clean, decorated and taken care of. Would be sure to try their main menu next time

Awesome place, beautiful uncomplicated food. The home fries are really good. Fish & chips perfect. Large portions. Fresh in store baked bread served with meals. Was able to buy one of the excellent cheese breads this time. Definitely our go to restaurant, very reasonably priced. Will try dining on the patio next time. Cant wait for my birthday, guess where I am going for a birthday treat? Thanks to all the wonderful staff.......

Small family run amazing breakfast place !! A great stop over to Tobermory. They bake their breads daily, some I never heard of. Everyone loved their meals but their breads steal the show. Be prepared to wait just a bit as they have a small kitchen but the nice people very much make up for it. Didnt find waffles but everything else on the website was on the menu.

Various bread types to choose from. I love their mushroom soup. I got the sockey salmon sandwich. I personally not a huge fan cuz I dont like the raw onion and the fishiness of the salmon but others love it. Its personal preference. Staffs are very friendly.

Our family went for Breakfest at the Dragonfly Cafe twice on our camping vacation. Staff was very friendly, service and food was excellent. Would highly recommend. They make their own bread in store in a wide variety of types. Great place to eat.

Absolutely phenomenal breakfast. Bread was so soft and tasty, so many different varieties baked daily. Prices made my jaw drop, its like going back in time to pre covid. Portions are very generous, food is seasoned perfectly, and the staff and ambiance are perfect for a small town homey feel. Definitely try the rasin cinnamon and cheddar breads, had to go for 2nd and 3rd orders it was so good. 1.75 for a coffee and 10 for a filling breakfast... where else can you find that??? Place is usually packed and for good reason. Must stop if youre coming thru the area. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

All the bread here is homemade and there are many choices. I had the chives and cheese bread for my Clubhouse and it was perfect. Good fresh coffee and quick service!! The breakfast options are varied and good. Do yourself a solid and stop in! Yummy!!

Food and service was great!

The dragonfly cafe is truly a hidden gem. We have stopped here a few times after our morning fish on Georgian Bay and have never been disappointed from the freshly baked bread ( our favorite cheese and chives) and the seasoned potatoes are delicious! The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. #supportlocal

Our first sit-in dining experience in months, the Dragonfly did not disappoint. Theyve extended their patio seating beyond the area that was already there, and just before we showed up, a table of sixteen sat down. Despite that, we still managed to get our food in a decent amount of time, and it was FANTASTIC! If youre craving breakfast complemented by fresh-baked artisanal breads, you gotta eat here!

Best bread ever!

The food was delicious and arrived quickly, the service was excellent, incredible value for your money. Havent seen prices this low in at least a decade. Highly recommend anytime you are driving towards or coming back from Tobermory as the food and environment are much better than the typical Tim Hortons or McDonalds you would usually stop at, not to mention for a lot less money.

Friendly place, deluxe French toast was great. One waitress made me feel unwelcome by commenting on what I was ordering... I would think they would be happy (large order = large tip) but she was more focused on judging me. I am still giving 4 stars for the good food and everyone else working being friendly. But I hope nobody else has to deal with the disapproval/judgement of ordering multiple items from this one waitress. Her attitude towards me ruined the experience for me.

My wife and I count this place as one of our favourite café/restaurants. Their breakfasts are an absolute must try and there is plenty to choose from in the varied menu. You ll likely have a chance to try their homemade bread with your meal choice, but if you don t you can buy loaves on a visit or after your meal. Six stars, if I could.

What a charming place, with lovingly prepared, fresh and delicious food, friendly and generous staff and a warm comforting vibe. We tried a variety of items on the menu, including some off menu requests to sample their incredible breads and jams, and the staff happily accommodated all our demands! Safe and carefully following covid protocols. One of the best finds of this weekend, we definitely hope to be back again. Thank you, Dragonfly! :)

The Best breakfast my wife and I had in a while. The Deluxe french toast was amazing. We couldn t leave without buying a bread to take home. Be aware though, wait time for food is very long. It s a small local family restaurant. We waited about an hour to be served, but it was very well worth it. A true hidden gem.
