We are a small family orientated restaurant where our motto is why try there rest when you can have the best. Our burgers , chicken fingers among other things are made on the premises. We believe our fish and chips are the best that you will ever have. We offer excellent value for your hard earned money. Try us out and you won't regret your dine in experience

I was very impressed with this cute little diner, the staff was very friendly and the coffee was amazing! A very satisfying breakfast that doesn't break the bank, skip the egg mcmuffin and have some real food served with a smile
Oh my the coffee was horrible . I joked with my son and said go play, go climb trees or break windows ..the lady says don't break my windows go break your own ..like I was serious....they didn't give refill of coffee it was like pulling teeth ..they were rude .. the eggs were all slimy ..we tipped 8 $ between thw 2 of us 2 bills and wished we didn't.. not a friendly atmosphere at all..I would not recommend this place to anyone .
This place is a hidden gem! It says it on the window “This is the place you are looking for” and it sure was. My husband & I were looking for a greasy spoon after a long wedding night and this place didn’t disappoint. The food was served fast, the pancakes were crispy on the edge. Service was delightful & the prices were very reasonable! Will defiantly be back.
When travelling, it's always important to me find a restaurant where I can enjoy the food and atmosphere after or before a long day of work. The sunshine diner welcomed me with warm smiles and delicious food. The staff are so friendly, I felt like I had been coming here for years. And, if I'm being honest, I've had a lot of eggs benedict in my life. I truly think theirs may be the best. 10000/5 stars, please stop in to this lovely diner!
The food was DELICIOUS and flavorful !! The 2 beautiful ladies handling the place were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Much love and respect to the chef, as well, for his or her outstanding cooking skills! The amazing Google reviews don't lie. First time here and will definitely be back!

We were camping in Durham and were looking to escape the rain- came here for breakfast because the reviews looked good and it did NOT disappoint! Food was great and came out quick! As a Brit I was excited when they had HP! Service was impeccable and so friendly! The staff told us stories about different parties that happen in this cute little space and gave us some key places to visit while we were in town. Overally such a warm friendly atmosphere with good diner-style food and an awesome experience. Thank you!!! If we are ever back in the area, we WILL be back :)
This place is the best of all ontario! The ladies that work there are soo adorable! Thr place is soo cute too and cozy! It looks like a little house and it does feels as we are going to an auntie house to go eat. The food is soooo delicious and ong! Homestyle!! I adore this place! This is my favorite place for breakfast!

Awesome spot we visited for brunch on our way home after camping. Very friendly staff, and the food was really great! Actual home fries with my eggs benny could have been cooked a wee bit more, but there was fresh blueberries in our pancakes and the coffee was very hot and strong! Even met a regular customer there who said its their favourite spot in town!

Nice quaint spot to grab breakfast or lunch. The food was really good and homemade, the service was awesome and it was welcoming as well. The place is small and not fancy at all but usually that is where you find the best homecooked meals. The surrounding Travelers Inn is a lot to be desired, some people sitting outside their motel rooms were a bit sketchy but the restaurant itself is worth trying. I recommend it.

Our first visit today for breakfast, and this cozy little gem did not disappoint. The two ladies working there are super sweet, the eggs, toast and bacon were all done to perfection. I love finding places like this.
We went to ear breakfast but we ate brunch. Grill cheese and home fries was good. Chicken fingers and fries were good.
The person who served me was great. The food was ok.
Reviews that say experience and food was good are lies. Uncooked half raw food. Cook tried to lip me off twice for saying he cant cook. There is better placed in town. Just saying Your welcome for the heads up

A Maaaaa and Paaaaaaa little restauraunt with the best home cooked food in Owen Sound. Did I mention they also bake to order Cakes and let me say just awesome very friendly all the time!!
The food was delicious, almost everything there is homemade. My wifes soup was full of turkey, and our fish and chips was bountiful. The staff went out of their way to serve us. Thank you!

A great place to eat. I went because they were local. Very friendly welcome, great atmosphere. Had great conversations and the food was so good. They made it just like I like. If you want great food at great prices, this place is a must. Service is AAA+. A rarety these days. I enjoyed my brief time in Owen Sound thanks to them. Please support this gem.

I came here a couple weeks ago, and forgot to review! Hostess metaphorically lit the establishment up with talkative and cheery vibes, instantly wanting to engage in bottomless conversation. The coffee is TALL and the wait for food is not long! You get THREE eggs for the standard breakfast, as opposed to 2 at most establishments. I even got asked how I wanted my homefries cooked! Positively insane. Best breakfast for your buck; lots of tasty bang. Will be back!

Great food! Really friendly staff, prices are affordable plus the daily specials they have are great. Best part is real ice cream for dessert. Recommend people try this little hidden gem.

It s great. All of it. The pancakes the eggs the bacon the French toast the hash browns the toast the coffee and everything else I forgot was incredible. I should have taken a photo before I started but instead here s a photo of my clean plates.

This is your place to eat in Owen Sound. I know it sounds crazy, but this little hole in the wall restaurant is not your average eatery. The hostess Ruth has such a beautiful vibe that it made my experience an incredible thing! Not to mention the absolutely outstanding food! It was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. You can beat the prices either. It was so good, in fact, that I went back a couple of days later and did it again! I highly recommend this place and will be back next time I am in Owen Sound. Breakfast was good price, food was ok, waitress was rude. She was short with my 10 year old son and rude to me twice, if I asked for something her response was when I get a minute. I wouldn t go back.
