Folks are super:but The buster bars are 1/2 the size they should be according to DQ s video. 5 peanuts total, 2 teaspoons of chocolate fudge 1/2 the ice cream, not good. Should have 1 tablespoon of peanuts and fudge top , middle and bottom 1 1/2 inches of ice cream in between then dipped in chocolate.

I was very disappointed that dairy queen is still using single use plastics for their containers, tops, straws, forks, spoons, knives etc. These are banned in Ontario for good environmental reasons. I would like to see dairy queen and all restaurants obey the law.

This dq is hit or miss to be honest. Food is great although they do not sell things other dairy queens do such as large poutines and a few other things. Some days I get cheese curds on my poutine and other days shredded cheese so you never know until you get it. Inside is usually on the dirty side and the bathrooms are usually disgusting. If your just getting take out burgers youll be fine but eating in is a risk. Also it was pretty expensive , 27 dollars for a burger meal plus a kids cone. Also they have next level cake decorating skills check out the 6 they put on my sons cake

I did not go in I waited outside with my boy and papa. My hubby went in ordered. The kind employee helped serve the cone like a drive through to my son. It really made his day. Fast and friendly kind.

Got the 6pc chicken strip to share. With fries a drink was $20.00. 4 out of 6 pc were half the size of a normal tender and nothing like the image on the menu. I wouldnt recommend this item and wouldnt go back again. If theyre much smaller it should be given 2pc instead. Food

Most of the guys there are cool but one of them is unprofessional (the one with the long beard) always with an angry face doesn t tell you about the deals they got and annoying.

Its a chain so the menu is the standard burger, fries and milkshake you expect. The staff are friendly and service was prompt. Parking: Parking right by the door is normally available

Employee with BMW hat on taking orders would have rather played on his phone than take customers orders. 2 customers walked out yelling asshole to this employee as he was playing on his phone right in front of everyone in line. Once we got up to the counter to order all we could smell was BO! It was gross! Definitely not a smell you wanna smell before getting food. Everyone in the back making ice cream was hustling around doing his job as well. Got our ice cream and got out as soon as we could.

Yesterday was our 3rd visit over the summer and all I can say is that this DQ is not being managed or operated well. The first 2 times we ordered blizzards that would not have passed the flip test (note, they have not done the flip test those 2 times) as the ice cream is already melting as they hand you your blizzard. I know that is not the DQ standard and so am wondering what is happening that this is the quality of product being served? Yesterday we didnt even order. We started to, I ordered 2 items, then the phone rang and the person taking the order doesnt punch in my items, he just took the call. So I tried to carry on with my order and he just puts up a finger to wait; which I would have been happy to, had we had been spoken to kindly and been shown that our business was valued. This gentleman goes to the back to listen to what is apparently a more important phone call and in all fairness it could have been. I try to not make too many judgements or harsh ones when I dont know the whole picture. But another staff comes out from the back, looks at us, looks at the staff on the phone who is behind in the food prep area and then just returns to the back. It was at this point we discussed our options and felt that supporting a local business over a corporation was a better use of our time and money and so we left.

I ve never felt more disgusted personal hygiene is not there pretty hard to want to eat somewhere when all you can smell is BO throughout the hole restaurant I think I ll make the drive to sauble beach next time I want ice scream as this Dairy Queen has gone down hill thanks to new owners very disappointed.

Had a coupon 2 dbl cheeseburgers frys and pop. Folks excellent service and the burgers frys were excellent. I will go again.

We got 3 banana splits, 1 medium and 1 small blizzards this evening. They did not have any banana left so they added extra strawberry and pineapple. The pineapples were almost rotten. My brothers got stomach cramps. I called them just to warn so no one else gets sick. The person who answered the phone got it personal and said Maam I changed it this evening it cannot be old. We are not poisoning you. I am wondering if this is their attitude to every customer.

I originally ordered DQ through Skip the Dishes and my Skip driver didnt bring part of my order. I called DQ to see if he forgot it, and the gentleman I spoke to was very kind and offered to bring me the rest of my order himself, and also called Skip the Dishes for me to make them aware. The DQ employee showed up within 15 minutes of speaking on the phone, I was very pleased with their customer service and their desire to make their customers happy! This definitely showed me they go the extra mile for their customers :)

My order was missing items, spent an hour trying to call without an answer. Kids meal only had the burger, side order of onion rings were just a ball of dough and onions . Very disappointed with this service .

When your sick of dull cake or the icing is to sweet its time for your mouth to scream ice cream, a delight from the one and only DQ (Dairy Queen). Ice cream cakes are the best. For around $30.00 you can serve an army. And so many to choose from in stock. Thank you Owen Sound DQ. Birthday party was a great!

As far as the ice cream goes, just the same as any DQ locations. The service however is fairly slow even for DQ. I noticed at least six staff present with only two really doing anything. While the others stayed very much out of site while a line up of customers had been present. They would take four orders before starting any of them, while skip the dishes orders have been prioritized ahead of anyone in store despite having a small order. Took about ten minutes to receive two medium milkshakes (from order to hand, not including waiting in line). The staff that served us was polite, the wait time is a bit too long for my preference.

Service is slow, place is cramped. Covid restrictions like number of people allowed in and social distancing were not followed. On top of all that, gift cards are not accepted here, I thought this place was a chain restaurant. At least the blizzards are good, but will be skipping this place next time.

Skip The Dishes Driver Perspective: Remember back in the day when DQ was all about treating you right? My how times have changed. You could compare the downgrade in quality to the once iconic Smarties Blizzard. This treat was the bomb when it first launched (and by bomb I mean it was a cup full of diabetes-inducing goodness). They didnt use spoons for the Smarties back in the day - no sir - they used shovels! They also added malt chocolate bonus insulin spike. But as mentioned those days are now in the rearview mirror. Gone is the malt chocolate. Gone are the shovels. Your Smarties blizzard now gets two thimbles of Smarties. Should you want a third thimble (you, know...so that your Blizzard actually tastes like Smarties), you have to pony up. The customer service and efficiency have fallen off in the same way. The manager has no control over his staff and it shows. No coordination of orders, no workflow - just pure sugar-coated chaos. Most of the staff is nice, but whoever is working the grill really has to polish those skills. TIP: Unless you find waiting 15 minutes for a $7 order youll have to drive 5KM away financially rewarding, avoid this place like the plague. Its worth the hit to your AR.

It always takes forever here to make an order, and than even longer to get your order. This is when compared to other DQs Ive been too.

I orddered 2 large fry, 2 burgers ( just cheese burgers) and 2 strawberry cheese cake blizzards with a strawberry sunday. I got 1 fry and a blizzard. When i tried to tell the lady at the counter she just told me they had gotten it right and she couldnt do anything now then turned away. Im very unsatisfied with my experience and the customer service.

I love their soft icecream, I have one every night I can in the summer. I go at night to not have to wait covids fault not theirs. I love sundaes but if Im with that special one I have a banana split

I went in before closed but they refused to serve me. They were clearly too eager to leave early, and claimed to be open only until 10. Then when I suggested they update Google, they lied straight to my face saying they did, even though I showed them that it says they are open until 11.

This is my second review for this Dairy queen and they still cant get it right!! Always mess up my order. Last time I went in to order a couple blizzards, I waited a half hour and then I asked where mine was. They didnt even put it in the system and I already paid for it. They gave me a coupon for a small sundae. Like that doesnt give me my time back. This time I ordered am Oreo CHEESECAKE blizzard, second time ordering this kind. Last time they put 2 pieces of cheesecake in it, thats all. This time they didnt put any! I cant believe this place how many times the Owen sound dairy queen messes up orders, why cant they get it right? Im so disappointed in dairy queen, Ive never had these problems at other locations. I recommend not going here ever if you dont want to be frustrated. And dont ever order cheesecake blizzards here, they wont give you any. Ive had it with this place. Never been so frustrated with a restaurant. Ive always thought highly of dairy queen, they have gone downhill quick.
