Excellent little family-run business. The staff are all very chatty and so open for conversation with their patrons, the fact theyve been there for 35 years and didnt have to shutter during Covid speaks for itself. I walked in and once I heard the owners speaking Greek to one another I knew I was gonna be getting PROPER Greek cuisine. The chicken gyro dinner is so tasty and filling and for only not even $20 its definitely worth it

Hidden gem! The owner is so kind and fun to chat with. Having previously lived in a city with so many Greek options, having this location in Owen Sound is amazing, I wished I knew about it sooner. By far the most authentic Greek food in the area nothing else comes close. The food is absolutely amazing, highly recommend the gyro!

Humbling experience, not once but twice. No dissatisfaction at all. The food is delicious ! Ive have had the chicken Slovaki dinner & the pork. Each time it was delicious. Ive been in this city 5 years and just found it! I just love it!!!!

Its a shame this only goes to five stars. Went in with my fiancee close to closing. The owner was amazing even though we were near closing time and told us the history of the restaurant while cooking our meal fresh. To say the food was absolutely amazing would be an understatement. This was beyond amazing and a huge portion for a gyro. Also tried her chicken souvlaki and it was fantastic as well. Will definitely be returning and recommending this hidden jewel.

Good food, takes cash only so that was a bit of an inconvenience but there are banks within a 5 min walk.

Ordered the Greek chicken dinner, the chicken souvlaki, the portions were great, the chicken was very tender and juicy, in fact my toddler stole some of my chicken and we very much enjoyed the homemade pitas!! Great work guys we will be coming back again !!! Chefs kiss

One of Owen Sounds gems! Ive been going to Europa for decades and the quality of the food has remained excellent all that time! Its one of my regular places to eat.

We went to Europa with our family of 7 and had a delicious Greek meal prepared fresh in front of us. Excellent customer service and we would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Greek food. We dined in and it was nice to hear his families history on how their restaurant began 30+ years ago. Kid-friendliness: Our grandchildren 9, 11 and 13 thoroughly enjoyed their meals!

First time here and had the chicken gyro delicious and fresh. I had to go back for their greek pizza and greek salad. Best food Ive had in owen sound. Nothing is frozen...its all fresh and prepared by a traditional greek family. Yumm!

Amazing people making fantastic food! Visiting Owen Sound and saw the rave reviews. Well worth the stop. Chicken Souvlaki and Baklava was so delicious! Thank you! I think the only comparable souvlaki Ive had was in New York City. I will absolute stop next time in town again.

A cute little hole in the wall in a big town. Wonderful history of family owned and passed down. I wanted so much to like it but it just wasnt for me. Apparently when my husband was waiting for our order a woman was buying 20 gift certificates. This place is rated very well, give it a chance and judge for yourself.

Lots of meat on the pizza we ordered. Nice and Hot. Really well community known. Need a little spices for taste.

Delicious authentic Greek food, I think this is the only place serving authentic greek food in Owen sound, everything was tasty and fresh, I would call it Real Homemade food.

I had the chicken Souvlaki and it was so good. Lots of flavours and very large portions for a good price.

Used to come here in high school and was thrilled that over 20 years later it was still open. Achilles is a jovial as his mother and a pleasure to talk to. The food was exactly as I remembered and so, so good. Highly recommend.

Good reliable and simple Greek style pub food. Worth the drive from Danforth Avenue or from Cobble Beach....

Gyro and Greek fries were great. Salad was a bit disappointing. Family run with an informal setting but a great find Owen sound. Was happy to have stumbled across it!

New to town. This place has the best Gyros I ve ever had in my life! So saucy . They don t skimp on anything. Everything is made in house. So delicious. Can t wait to try their olives and Olive Oil . Will be back next week for Christmas present shopping !!

Went there on a recommendation in 2015 and have been going ever since. The food is always fresh, the portions are great, the staff is all very welcoming and friendly, and it is consistent.

Scrumptious and made fresh when you order. If you happen to stop in for take out like I do every Wednesday for lunch, you are greeted with a warm welcome and great conversation while you watch your delicious meal being created. 5+++ stars

Best pizza in Owen Sound hands down! You really cant compare Europa to the chains here, its on another level. I just wish it was open longer and on weekends. If you have the opportunity to get this pizza, dont hesitate!

Glad I came across this place during my short visit in Owen Sound earlier this month. Me and my friend were super hungry after biking all day and this place had lots of great options to fuel us up. The friend got a Greek pizza all to himself and finished it in one sitting while I also finished the entire souvlaki platter by myself! The food tasted fresh and healthy. The portion was generous. Though it took more than half an hour to get our food, it was okay not just because theres not many other options around but the food was good!

Excellent chicken souvlaki.

We ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner. It was so delicious that my husband and I think it is one of the best we have ever tasted. The meat was tender, moist and full of flavour. For dessert, we had the walnut baklava (made in house). This baklava tasted like the ones we had in Europe and very delicious with lots of nuts and honey. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to the next time we order there.

Excellent food. The tzatziki was different than I have ever had but we pure delicious! The baklava was so decadent and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Great portions and super friendly staff! Cant wait to go back next week :)

The gyro meat is made from scratch and is delicious. The pizza crust is more of a European style. The service was great and Achilles has plenty of wisdom to share.

One of Owen Sounds best kept secrets! A small, 2nd generation family owned Greek restaurant very definitely worth going to! Try the donair gyro with Greek salad, baked lasagna or their pizza! Their pizza is the best in town too!

I know what good Greek food is and this isnt even close to being mediocre. A complete fail.Instead of awesome lemon potatoes and rice you receive French fries and a tasteless cucumber sauce. Really bad.

In town for a hockey tournament. Very good food (gyros & lasagne were both great) and I really liked the owners vibe. Will go there again before the weekend is up!

The best souvlaki in the region. Old family business that never changes. Always reliably delicious! Bit of a dive but dont let the ambiance keep you out. You may be privy to authentic Greek family infighting. You have to go to Alexandros in T.O. to find any better Greek fare.

THE best pizza ever. If you find yourself in Owen Sound you find yourself here if youre doing it right. Everything is made fresh every day. Although Im a sucker for pizza, the entirety of their menu is incredible, especially their gyros. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Amazing food and great prices but the diner looks almost the same as when I was a kid. I don t personally consider that a retraction; I always enjoy stopping in!

Best Greek pizza in town

This is the WORST, so called greek food , I ve ever had. These people put greek food to shame. I threw 70$ in the barbage! Pizza was burnt and wet in the middle. Tatziki was full of water and the chicken was not chicken! Disgusting!!!
