Had a late lunch. Service was attentive. View from the patio during warm weather was very nice. Food was fine. Pacific blue cod fillet was a light portion, properly cooked, good crispness, slightly bland. Went for a walk on the promenade afterwards.
I had the rainbow trout special. It was cooked well. Fish n' chips others in my party had liked really good. Service was ok. They have quite a variety of cuisine choices. Prices seemed fair. The restaurant is located in a Best Western. It's a nice spot by the water, especially during the summer months. We sat outside when it was still very sunny but the umbrellas only covered the ends. There weren't enough umbrellas to shade everyone.
Food was good, nothing to complain about. The steak was cooked as requeated and very tasty. The cheescake was awesome!
Atmosphere is great. Beautiful view. I ordered a Virgin Caesar and was given one with vodka. Since I’m allergic to alcohol this was not good. I ordered a steak medium-rare, sadly is was medium-closer to well-done. It was tough to chew. I had already set the Caesar back… and didn’t want to cause more of a fuss. The chocolate mouse was good. The coffee was weak. And I was charged the full amount for a Bloody Caesar— til I brought it to their attention. I don’t recommend. Even though there are very few choices to dine in the area.
Nice atmosphere. Patio seats with sea view. Food is average, friendly service, reasonable price
Awesome breakfast place when staying at the hotel or visiting the town. The scenic views add to the dining experience. The breakfast menu is simple and has the classic go-to options. Coffee/tea is included in your choice. We didn’t have the coupons - we just paid as-is. The service was super efficient and the staff was courteous. I’d say it is pretty affordable and good value for money given the taste and portions.
Beautiful outdoor seating restaurant. Its inside the best western hotel. The staffs are polite!! their menu is pretty good with a mix of everything! Cali said and crispy chicken was great, pasta was okaish.. Burger was not great at all! quick and good customer service they have indoor seating as well. a good place to enjoy the view and eat!
The food is good. Let’s get that out of the way. It’s well made and it’s pretty basic stuff. Eggs, bacon - the basic breakfast stuff. You really can’t screw it up. Toast is actually just one piece of bread sliced in half. This was a downgrade from last year. At least give two as you’re pricing has gone up to accommodate inflation. The eggs are basic, small eggs. It’s fine. The bacon quality could be better, at times over done. To change from bacon to sausage, ham or peameal it’s ironically more money. I wonder about the grade of the bacon. Not a big deal again as its not going to break the bank. So why the 2 stars? The service is awful. Someone at the top needs to go. You can’t blame the staff if they are mistreated. I’m guessing that’s why everyone is so miserable. No one wishes you good morning or even says hello. It’s right to your table without a smile. If you want coffee or tea look at your cups. Often they have lipstick on them or are dirty already. Come on - get this right. I’ve done over 100 reviews so far and this was the most disappointing and disgusting to date. If you ask for milk or creamer it never comes. We asked multiple times and they huffed and puffed but never brought it. Our actual waitress who takes the order has been good. Much nicer and more accommodating. Cleans up after the mistakes the hostess or other people make. Overall if it wasn’t so cheap as a hotel add on and convenience I’d pass. Do you want to make this right? Have the manager ask the guests how the service is every single day to each guest. Monitor what your staff is doing and don’t be operational yourself. Manage the people and the restaurant- don’t serve. Make sure your staff care and show that you care for them. Hire a more diverse staff because the last three years you haven’t. If you’re the owner I hope you read this. You’ve got a full hotel every summer and your dinner service is empty. Your lunch is empty. Time for a change. If you’re best western , think of it this way. Would the other chain hotels allow this in their facility? Probably not. They do contribute to the overall experience.
Prob one of the best hotel breakfasts I ve had in a while hats off to the chef
We are staying in the Hotel, and had two dinners at Bishops Landing. Collette was our server for both nights and was just wonderful and friendly. We were treated great for our reservations. The food was wonderful. Highly recommend for a nice meal.
After driving around, I asked two different people for help, but never found it. No signage anywhere. Only realized when I got home that its inside the Best Western!
Have visited Bishops Landing several times and have never been disappointed. Service is amazing, they always make excellent recommendations and the food is awesome every time.
Vegetarian options: The vegetable wrap is very good there is also a Mediterranean salad on the menu. Food
Very bad experience ! Customer service is not a priority at all! The waitress was very rude and had no respectful conversation with myself. She even told me that I had to walk to the kitchen to get you the sauce, like pardon this is not something you tell your customers at all! The 6 of us will never come back to your place ever again! Also, you have to pay for the hot sauce and mayo (because they are not in the meal description)
We met with old friends for lunch at Bishops Landing. The meal was great, as was the service. We will certainly return.
Food was fine, nothing too special, service was slow. (Waitress was Chatting mostly with the folks at the bar.) Wrong order came after waiting a while. Then waited longer to make waitress aware only to be told no, we both ordered the same thing? Issue was rectified (ish.) by getting a side plate of the salmon that was fair in taste. Our plates sat at the table from our apps and were only collected after paying the bill. Drink glasses also empty. Wasn t worth the price for me personally. Dietary restrictions: If you re looking for dietary restrictions, make sure you double check your order when it actually comes. One of ours was a complete different protein.
I always love my dinner here. We live nearby and frequently order for pickup. Tonight I ordered their California salad and tomato soup and they were both incredible! Highly recommend!
We stopped at Bishops Landing for an anniversary meal on our way to Sauble Beach. The food was amazing and our server Brenda gave us exceptional service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We came for my son s birthday dinner tonight (Friday June 7th) he chose the restaurant. We waited a bit for our drinks while our server flirted with a man at the bar. We overheard her at an adjacent table apologizing for giving them the wrong dessert. When our meals came out, one order was completely wrong and another meal had the wrong sauce on our wings. Our waitress was too busy sampling different beers with the gentleman at the bar while another server corrected our order. When we asked for the bill we could hear our waitress with the man at the bar saying she can t figure out her bills in order to cash out too many drinks on the job? She then went on to collect plates from empty tables until realizing, oh ya, they want their bill. All while discussing plans for the rest of the night with the gentleman who should have been cut off. As a server myself, dining out is hard for me to do because we expect to be treated the way we would give service to others. Sadly, this wasn t what we got, and on a special occasion. We also witnessed two separate people approach her about their food and bills and they were staying at the hotel. I really hope you can find better staff that truly care about customer service. I will mention props to the young hostess who was very attentive with water to the tables, refills and clearing tables!
Hidden gem alert!! I mostly can t be bothered to write reviews but you need to know how great this place is. Gorgeous patio with views onto the lake, fantastic service and some of the best food I have eaten in ages. We came because of the wide range of gluten free options for me, and all were delicious, but so were the non-gluten free selections my husband had. We went with comfort food; I would expect one club sandwich to be much like another but the ones we had were better than any I have had before. Incredible carrot cake with house made ice cream! Come on! And it s in a Best Western hotel? So randomly amazing. You need to eat here! Dietary restrictions: Amazing for gluten free.
The food was absolutely amazing! Kudos to the line cooks and cooks!! We were staying at the best western for a full week and tried many different things on the menu. Everything was delicious! As a chef I rarely find restaurants that I can rave about. Bishops Landing is one restaurant I TOTALLY recommend!
Fabulous experience!
Lovely restaurant with outdoor patio looking over the water. Great menu offerings with a daily special.
Lois and Jason made my stay and dining experience awesome. They both definitely deserve a raise
Nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. Some of the servers are incredible and some are mediocre st best. Overall a solid 8/10 Spent multiple weeks there (spread out over a 6 month period) and the experience is consistent
Loved the calamari
Great Menu, Great Menu Choices, Priced well for quality of food/ presentation. If I lived closer I would go often for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Unfortunately, my expectations of the dine in experience of this place was underwhelming. Serving staff was nice, but the food was overpriced. Food quality was not great and the staff doesn t know the ingredient list on their products (french fries are coated)
Delicious food, great menu, wonderful staff, pleasant atmosphere, and a spectacular view!. As newcomers to the city, this was the first restaurant we dined at and the place that made us fall in love with the Lakeview, leading us to buy our 1st family home nearby. We enjoyed our familys 1st Christmas dinner in this restaurant and revisited the view that led us to decide to call this new city our home. We may even make it a family tradition to dine here for future Christmas dinners. Thank you to the wonderful staff and compliments to the chef(s)! Btw.... the sesame tuna steak is a mouth-watering gratifying dish that blew my mind. Best tuna steak Ive ever had. Parking: LOTS! Of parking Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for babies and toddlers. simple kids menu but the items are great. My boys love the creamy pasta and chicken tenders with fries
Overall very good.
Tasty food, lakefront, good service.
Always a great spot for a good meal
Service and food were exceptional and atmosphere os perfect
Really enjoyed my breakfast at Bishops Landing. Server was very welcoming and seemed to enjoy her job. Food was fresh with great serving sizes. Server also made sure coffee and waters were always topped off. Great job! We will be back!
I dined with a friend on March 2nd to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted cheerfully and I had reserved a table earlier in the day so we were immediately seated. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive but not overly so. We chose to partake in the special menu being offered for Savour Owen Sound. We both had salad that was so fresh and crisp (post COVID restrictions have mean this isnt always the case) We chose different entrees I had the stroganoff and my friend the penne. What a shock that the dessert was enormous, it was like 2 desserts in 1 dish we both had to take 1/2 home. Well worth the money, a deal really, and a wonderful experience. We will go back for sure. Parking: There is lots of free parking
If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst food and extremely over priced. Complete waste of money! (I never ever leave reviews for anything, so the fact I am leaving a review now means I am truly disappointed)
great food, great service. pricey drinks
Collette provides excellent service in the diningroom ! Great view! Great menu choices. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access straight through front door, lobby, into diningroom and right to your table!
Worth another visit
Went there for Easter brunch. Below average, especially considering price of about $45 including tax and compulsory tip. Everything in steam trays - an omelette station would be a welcome addition. Have ordered from the menu before and it was quite a bit better.
Food was good service was good drinks were amazing and fairly priced for what you got I had a (cinnamon apple whisky and my fiancee had the after dinner mint, snowflake martini) all great cocktails.
This was one of the worst dinners my wife and I had for some time. The half rack of ribs were terrible. The salmon fillet was overcooked and had bones in it. The bacon wrapped scallops were overcooked. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
If you find yourself have to stay in Owen Sound... this is a great place with a wonderful view and great food... You wont be disappointed....
Mothers Day Brunch was ok, good but not memorable. Nice variety but food was not hot, more like luke warm. They tacked on an automatic tip of 18% to the bill. 18% was way too presumptive of the quality of their service and food. A carnation for every Mother would have been a nice touch and turn off the tv or at least change the station.
Absolutely amazing dining experience. Great food and great staff. Thank you for a great evening
Had both dinner and breakfast here during a recent stay. The menu is excellent, the food preparation and presentation was quite good, and the service was very friendly, helpful, and very efficient, especially in the evening for dinner. At least three wait staff were working during the dinner meal, and they all took an interest in ensuring our needs were looked after. Very pleasant and enjoyable meal.
I ordered the shaved roast beef with fries. Fries were great! Service was great. The sandwich however I did not like and could not finish. Beef tough and cannot bite through everything wet when it should be crispy. Based on this I would not order again.
Awesome view of the water. Food tastes great, staff friendly.
Very good restaurant, with great views and friendly helpful staff. The food was very good. We would go here even if not staying in the hotel.
Food was excellent; top notch. Service was also excellent and the atmosphere and location on Owen Sound Bay was amazing. Vegetarian options: Numerous options and stir fries.
Went last Saturday around 5pm, no reservation, seated promptly. Quick service initially but once it got busy service slowed. Both of us had the linguni, I found the chicken watery and tasteless, some pieces were chewy, Cream sauce was tasty with the veggies but needed salt and I found it oily. A $32 dollar dish could have been prepared better. I had tea, my wife had water, and we both had carrot cake. Bill came to $93 , plus we tipped 18%. We will be back.
Everything about this restaurant was good. Very good service and delicious food.
Not pet friendly restaurants. As said pet not allowed on patio and outside of the patio.
Whenever were up at the cottage, we always visit Bishops Landing. Great outside patio looking onto Georgian Bay. The food here is always great, as is the service. There are nice scenic walkways along the water.
Really bad staff that don t like people from Quebec ad some friend come and see us never bringing anyone there again
Excellent food and decor Wheelchair accessibility: Throughout Food : 5/5 |
Terrible customer service. We phoned 3 times over the span of a week regarding questions about the menu, talked to different staff each time and they took our information down all 3 times. We were told that they would talk to the manager and get back to us (3x). Never received a phone call back. This experience really turned us off and we will not be supporting this restaurant. Ended up going to Kettles instead and the staff / food were amazing!
We had the beef sandwich, French onion soup, Ceasar salad and bruschetta flat bread. Food was a little pricey but it was good. Service was really slow and forgetful of items requested making them take way too long and prompting me to get up and request again since the wait staff was absent. Wheelchair accessibility: Its accessable
Excellent views and great service.
It was terrible experience , we were excited to have breakfast even though my husband was recommending another restaurant but as we stayed in the hotel asked to just love the view of the restaurant ,we went there today on Monday thanks giving weekend and saw the restaurant is almost full but there where two seatings with the view but the girl swerving g us gave us seats just diagonal to the view and I requested her can our seat us there as there were two seats and we were the party of 3 , she told us that she can t move the table so I just said okay may be it s the rule and understood and swathed there , while in heart I was so much wanting to have a breakfast with the view .But after like 5 mins another party of 4 came and think what she did she moved the chairs and table for them and seated them there where I was asking . I was so much annoyed and we just told her we are leaving because she told us she can t do it and she said okay . Just okay what is it . She just ignored her own statement . Very bad experience , Not recommending anyone .
The fish and chip is great.
Excellent, as always! Love popping by for lunch or dinner. The staff are super friendly, especially Collette - wonderful customer service! The recent changes to the menu had us debating - so many delicious meals to choose from! Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options including stir fry and risotto. Parking: Room for large vehicles, campers and trailers.
I have travelled to Owen Sound since 2004 for business and the Bishops Landing has always been a stop for breakfast or lunch or dinner. My travel for work brings me in town for the CIP stop/college tour at Georgian College. Hope to be back on the tour again in fall of 2024.
It could be the New Year s Eve craziness, but the food is incredibly average and definitely doesn t stand up to the high rating for the resturant. Definitely meh we did dine-in and ordered the fish and chips and the Asian vegan dish not only both the dishes came out incorrect i.e. Asian dish turned out to be noodle instead of rice and the fish and chips came no tartar dip or coleslaw. So basically it was unseasoned battered fried fish and two lemon wedges. PS both these dishes were priced fairly high-end
Very friendly service. Butter chicken had three cubes of chicken and Ive had better from P.C. frozen meals. Naan was dry. Salmon was bland, mashed potatoes were bland. For the price ,we were very disappointed.
Best restaurant in town
By far the most disrespectful service Ive ever experienced in the Grey Bruce area. Jenna was not our direct server but made it quite clear (and actually stated boldly) that on more than one occasion she found our unease hilarious. When the simple request to please stop vacuuming near our table while we were trying to enjoy our meal was asked, instead of handling this in a professional manner she chose to mock and make my family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in Bishops Landing, a resturant that my family, friends and business associates alike have been supporting for years. What a shame such a crass individual works in your establishment. Keeping a service person like this on board will undoubtedly damage your reputation.
Food is absolutely incredible, service is excellent and waitresses are super friendly and helpful! Calming atmosphere, very comfy seats! Id give more stars if I could, I highly recommend and would definitely dine there again, hands down (infact weve been there twice this week haha and drove an hour to get there, yum!)
Our favorite restaurant in town.
Probably our favourite place in owen sound! The food is amazing, their servers are so upbeat and friendly and the GM, Jason, runs the whole establishment beautifully. Not to mention a patio on the water. A must if your visiting, or live in the area!
Beautiful views and delicious foods!
Great food and reasonable prices. Staff are efficient and very friendly. Fish and chips is great!
Nice hidden gem down by the water. I went for lunch and shared a flatbread and a beef sandwich. Good food and generous portions. Comfortable chairs and friendly staff make you want to stay for a while.
Food was ok here, good portions, but the fries tasted like weird oil. Not sure what they were fried in, or if it was bad oil. The price was too expensive. Service needs to be much much better to reflect the cost. Our wait staff told us to WAIT when we were telling them our order, lol. Ok. Good view though. I got the BBQ chicken flatbread. It didnt come with anything, I feel like it needed way more chicken on it. The chicken seemed like it was that processed chicken. But your sandwiches looked good. Forgot the tartar sauce for fish and chips though, and charged us $1.50 for Mayo? Thats Weird.
Sometimes I forget how great the patio is here. Great food and service tonight. The kids loved running around on the grass. We will be back.
Great place patio overlooking water. Excellent food and service
The location is wonderful. The food was good. But the service was horrible. When you ask for a fruit salad and the waitress rolls her eyes at you and shouts to someone else that no one has ever ordered fruit salad, thats not ok. If you have something on your menu, I shouldnt get irritation for asking for it. Wasnt asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Really long waits when it didnt appear to be that busy. Ive been to busy places and received far better service. The hotel itself is great. Amazing location, really nice room, just maybe skip dining there.
June 11 2022 Went for our 45 th anniversary, had the back ribs, service excellent, food beyond excellent, a must place in owen sound
Lovely view, great service.
Good selection of food on the menu. My entire party I was with all enjoyed their dishes (pork chop was the crowd favourite). Desserts are sooo delicious but I wouldve liked a specialty non-alcoholic beverage option after dinner like a latte or espresso. Other that that though, it was an enjoyable atmosphere and the service was good. I will definitely come back.
Nice lounge area and dining room. Great view to the lake. The meal we had was the special for the day and was reasonably priced. Great service. Recommended.
We love the food quality and customer service here. The food is well prepared and healthy. The place and environment is beautiful. We are very enjoyed the food.
Great food
Food was plain and under cooked. Salmon had no flavour or seasoning like the vegetables, ribs were hard to cut with a steak knife, baked potato was cold so wouldnt melt frozen butter, disappointing when it costs $100.00 with one beverage each for 2 people to eat.
Some of the best food and service you will come across! A must stop on your way through or staying at the Best Western. You have to try the funnel cake, best desert ever!
Most delicious food weve eaten in a while!!! Very nice find. Staff were lovely too.
good breakfast good portions
Best meal as always
This was my first time at Bishops Landing Lake Patio in Owen Sound. The pictures & previous reviews were all true & this place is beautiful along with the delicious food & excellent service! Our waitress, Coral, was very patient & kind as we asked questions regarding some of the items on the menu. Highly recommend everyone to save some room for dessert & order the funnel cake fries! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience
Best patio in Owen Sound with an amazing view of the lake. Food is top notch as well.
Nice place
Staff went out of their way to make our dinner memorable!
The food and service was immaculate definitely the place to go for food and drinks Craig is a true food artist and Brenda makes the best drinks in town you wont be disappointed a big thanks to our server joy
Cold and very fatty, tough roast beef special. (Had a bite and sent back, but still paid for half which wasnt right) Very thick batter fish and chips. Waitress forgot our soup and salad. French Fries were very good like Macdonalds tho. Way too slow service for monday night. Paid $200 for moms birthdays dinner but its was worth...$ My husband and I were sick after dinner. We will never return to this restaurant.
I stayed a couple of nights with breakfast included. Its a set menu and you place an order for a plate + 1 drink. The breakfast voucher is equivalent to $10. Everything else is to pay extra, even an extra slice of bread. The food tastes great and was cooked as requested. Parking: Ample parking spots
Great food .. great staff. All around great evening out.
A restaurant with vision
Enjoyed
Excellent service and delicious food. The portions are very generous and the considerations for safety are exemplary. Bishop s Lansing is easily the best kept secret in Owen Sound.
Friendly, good service
We were staying at the Best Western Inn on the Bay. We had breakfast at Bishops Landing on one of our mornings. The breakfast was good, the service was good and the sour dough bread was delicious. A bit pricey for a breakfast, but you are in a hotel so I am sure it is a lot of overhead cost. Anyway for the convenience of staying warm, it was worth it : )
Amazing customer service. Food was okay.
Always a great place to eat! Have never had a bad meal. Service is always good. Staff are attentive and friendly
Fast and friendly take-out service
Great location and food.
This is a beautiful spot to stay! Beautiful walking path and view!
Best restaurant in town
Everything was amazing!! The food was very tasty, first time trying battered squash loved it. They had a wedding going on and still had everything organized even with things just reopening from lock down. I dont drink and our lady who was serving us who was their banquet manager and was just helping out took it upon herself to make me a custom mocktail, which I am a bartender and she nailed it it was very good. For those who do drink they had an eclectic selection on tap my boyfriend enjoyed. Also cant forget the sunsets right there over the water. We had a great time well done guys.
Had a fantastic burger here: ground chuck, grilled to perfection, nice smokey beef flavour. Great quality bun, and complement of toppings mayo, onion, pickle, bacon, cheese. Just first rate! The onion rings were super crispy, with a textured batter, almost like coconut shrimp. Nice view of the water on the large patio. Look forward to visiting again!
Good food
The servers and FOH are lovely. The kitchen is slow as molasses - easily 30-45 mins for a meal for 4. Id love to see more pep from the kitchen to show more support for the FOH staff.
Good food small menu reasonably priced, was surprised first time I visited much better than I expected, enjoy eating on patio. Food can be ordered through hotel phone for takeout options
Good restaurant.
Good food and service
Nice views but fish and chips are tasteless and Kids chicken and rice is very dry. At least the kids meal comes with ice cream.
Food incredible, staff very friendly, service excellent
Excellent service and the food was exceptional!
Fantastic atmosphere. The food, drinks and staff were great!
Fast service, lovely staff, & delicious food!!
Nice patio, great service, poor menu(for meat eaters only).
Very good service, nice team.
Best fish and chips I had in a long time need to go back
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Lunch and beverages were delicious
Great patio and view, friendly staff, great food. Enjoyed lunch with friends
Great sunset view of lake and the sound,, excellent food,, quiet and best patio in a long distance
Beautiful view in patio, perfect draft beer .
Great meal. Courteous service.
Slow service and ok food. Theyve botched the breakfast voucher program totally. Gave them 2 stars to account for the fact that they are short staffed and are dealing with COVID protocols.
Food really good especially the maple brussel sprouts. Service was good. Chairs at tables for 2 should be placed so that no one has their back to the view
I had some wings and they were the worse wings I have ever had. Over cooked to the point they were completely crunchy all the way threw the wing and could not chew. And my mother had some steamed veggies that were maybe steamed for 30 secs very raw. The only thing going for them that night was the nice waitress.
Beautiful views... Only had drinks
The patio backs onto one of the best views in Owen Sound. The staff are great and the food is super. We were just passing through on a long drive and enjoyed a much needed rest and refueling at this peaceful Georgian Bay oasis. Highly recommended.
great service, fast and excellent food
Nice
Went here for dinner before the owen sound attack game. Food was good but a bit pricey. But isnt everything.
I purposely drive from Toronto to Owen Sound for their incredibly delicious fish and chips! The atmosphere is quite welcoming and the staff are amazing! We enjoy coming here every few months and will continue to do so!
Tasteleess hobutterhanchopped Chopped french fries chicken and in fish
The View, The Food and the Service all bring me back again and again:)
Great wings and good beer selection
The food has been quite good every day. The wait staff have been quick, courteous and always with a smile. I easily recommend this restaurant.
Great food and great view
good food and overlooking the water, never had a bad experience here
The food here is amazing. The word is getting out that they have some of the best chicken wings for miles around. Make sure you try the Arizona Ranch, if you like saucy wings. Their dry wings are great too. Great selection of beers, some that you won t find at other local spots.
Service and food were ok, a bit pricey
Absolutely fantastic place! Food was amazing as was the service. Will definitely be finding our way back! Thanks for a fantastic experience! Mike&Eva
We decided to drive! Just drive on a Sunday. We ended up in Owen Sound. Found a Best Western. Asked if there was a room and there was. Ya! It was time to eat and the hotel has Bishop s Landing on site. We had no reservations but stood in line LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!! I m not sure what the male word for is for a Karen is, but he showed up! Cut in line in front of us and assured his wife/girlfriend that it was ok because he made a reservation. Entitled $@! We were seated with no questions asked and with no reservations. I asked if reservations are preferred and our server said said no. Unless you d like to sit on the patio. We didn t care where we sat. I told her our ..hmmmm....? experience...and she understood. With Covid, they ve seen a lot of changes in humility. She apologized which she didn t need to do but took care of us as if we were there every week! She was awesome! The food was great and the service, above and beyond! Thank you Jenna and Bishop s Landing
Fantastic. Excellent food and a decent wine selection. Great view too. Pretty awesome restaurant for a Best Western Hotel!
Great food and patio view!
Located inside the Best Western Inn On The Bay, this restaurant is one of the beat places to eat in Owen Sound! The service is speedy and courteous, the food is delicious and the view of the bay is gorgeous! We ordered the chicken fingers, chicken quesadillas, and fries & gravy. The chicken fingers were freshly battered and crispy. The quesadillas were full of toppings and tasty. The fries were the star of the meal, freshly cut and fried in duck fat. Everything was amazing! Even if youre not staying in the hotel, be sure to stop by this restaurant for a guaranteed great experience.
the food was excellent, and the service spectacular. The view from the patio was breathtaking. Well worth every penny.
We were pleasantly surprised to receive such large portions on our plates! Its not often that I leave a resteraunt full without ordering an appetizer. The view is great, but with their limited tables due to covid I would think they could organize them in order to have better views from each table.
$22 for a 10ounce glass of Coffin Ridge into the white wine. An entire bottle is $20.45 at Coffin Ridge. $27 for the special. Almond crusted haddock. No almonds. No taste of almonds. Might as well have been a large fish stick. Basmati rice and asparagus on the side was bland. I used butter for flavor. A table for 2...only one person can see the harbor. The tables should be turned so both people can see the harbor or 2 people should be allowed to sit at a table for 4. The turtle cheesecake was good.
Awful....dirty tables...rude staff...avoid avoid avoid
This.....has to be one of my favourite restaurants......anywhere. I consistently reserve Thanksgiving.....and Christmas dinner here....and frequent with my family and friends often throughout the year. The food is amazing...the service is exceptional....and the inviting atmosphere...along with the unparalleled view ...cant be beat. Jess and her team....go above and beyond....every single time. They are friendly.....positive...professional....and so accommodating! In all of the years I have been going here...I have never....been disappointed.....Neither will you!! Absolutely the best place to eat.....and to stay...in the Owen Sound area!! Thank you JESS....for everything you do....YOU are an asset to the restaurant.....and to the hospitality business!!
By far the best steak Ive ever had! Weve eaten here a few times and never let down. Patio is spacious with a nice view.
Delicious food with excellent service!!!
I have a fish and chips to go. The fish was full of oil. It is probably been fried in a not enough hot pan fried. Hope I have better experience next time.
Our dinner was Great. Had a good time. Great place to dine.
Great meal. Great service and great atmosphere!
The food an service were very good we will be going back
Friendly service, got food, slower than expected.
Great food and location with a view
Super food relaxed setting
Nice atmosphere and food.
Fabulous food and great service make this hotel restaurant one of the best places in town when you need a meal that hits the spot!
We enjoyed another fine meal at the restaurant Bishops Landing. Everyone in the group choose something different. The food is homemade with fresh ingredients. The soup was piping hot and delicious. The pizza is fantastic with a thin crust and the sandwiches are beautiful. Lovely spot to eat with a view of the bay.
Service was great..... Mitchell was the server .... Food was great ..... Great view over looking the water
Very good
Nice place for supper.
Great view and great lunch.
Every time Im here I have a great dinner. Menu is changed frequently with upscale choices. Has a good bar selection. Reservations are recommended.
