It was a busy night and yet our food arrived hot & tasty. Server did not identify themself. Decent selection of food, could use a couple more vegetarian options. Great location for dinner prior to a show. Nice wine selection.We liked the atmosphere ♥️
Parkwood hosted a lovely birthday party for my daughter's 40th - including live music by 'Just Duet', who were excellent also! - Service , food and atmosphere top notch - thank you so much - we'll be back!
Nice decor, good food, open cuisine, kids menu, good service, excellent dessert, kids pizza was large (good deal) so was also used for lunch next day, reasonable price. On Thursday night there was only one other group in the restaurant. Entrance was in a back alley which for us as tourists was not easy to find. Parking on the road was free. Mental health and addiction center near where we parked the car on 2nd avenue so had to give a few explanations to the kids as to the people screaming or asking for money but they were not aggressive. We will return if we are in the area again but will try parking in the back alley directly.
We are passing through on our way home and came here for dinner. Our waitress (we didn’t catch her name but she shared with us that she studied in Kingston) was an absolute gem. Happily answered questions, was super friendly and smiled even as it got busy. The food was delicious and unlike most other places. Would definitely recommend!!
Best experience in owen sound by far. Food and staff are both amazing. Atmosphere is awesome, plus the chance of some awesome music. Can’t go wrong
A really delightful food experience. Not typical "roadhouse" fare but unique flavorful dishes that are represented by the chef's pride in the food he prepares for their guests. Really really enjoyed the delicious flavors.
Heartwood does it again. Amazing home store, concert venue and now full on restaurant. You may enter from the front (Heartwood Home) or the rear. Terrific scratch made food, very reasonable prices, and as you would expect, great atmosphere, with friendly service. Will certainly be dining here again. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.
The vibe of this place is so cool, can seem kind of tucked away and hidden, love that the kitchen is open for patrons to see all the action. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing, would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The cocktails were also beautiful so hats off to the bartender. We shared a pizza, the burger and chicken sandwich together the chicken sandwich is one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Also the layered potato appetizer was incredible
Very local customers and pizza was average but soup was bad. Overall overpriced, not worth the wait time, and located down an alley, literally.
Had an awesome brunch. I had BLT on sourdough with smashed potatoes side soooooo good. One had chicken and waffles and another had smashed potatoes poutine. All fantastic. Service second to none. Yum

Tried for the first time tonight - had no idea there was a restaurant here. Was pleasantly surprised by the size and ambiance. Came with a big group, everyone tried a different pizza and shared - all delicious. Even the crust was good, quality dough. Will definitely be back to try their long list of cocktails

2024-Ordered the burger and was amazed at how good this double stack was. Everything was perfect (i.e. toppings, burger to bun ratio). Good service, good beer. 2023-Nice new restaurant. Great service. Ordered the kale/bacon pizza and was disappointed. It was dry with very few toppings or cheese. Hubby ordered the mushroom/squash dish and loved it.
Nice restaurant! Loved the food, Pizza was fresh and homemade. Service was fantastic even though it was busy and we didnt have a reservation, they treated us like family. Thank you, and see you again soon.
To whom it may concern, I wanted to address our dining experience with you this evening. My wife and I thought it would be a great place to take our employees for a business dinner, based on the reviews. However, after the experience we had, were hesitant to return. The food was amazing, service was great at the beginning but as soon as I went to order a second drink, we were questioned who was driving, questioned if the drink i ordered was actually for me . Immediately we felt judged. We are polite, respectful people who wanted to have an enjoyable dining experience but it was as if we were intoxicated and rowdy disturbing other tables. We re in our 30 s and had our 4 month old son with us for dinner. Our server also told us that there is a 3 drink liquor limit in place. My wife worked in the industry for 10 years, and we have never heard of this? From the minute our server dropped off our drinks, it felt as though she didn t want to serve us. We had to ask for every refill, water included, our plates sat on our table and we had to call her over except for when she did her quality check. When our employee was at his 3 drink limit , based on the servers guideline, he wasn t even offered a soft drink, and there was no water left in the water jug. We truly hate to complain, but like mentioned previously, it discourages our family to return.
They are the middle of their soft opening right now and this is going to be an amazing addition to the downtown food scene in Owen Sound. We had a very delicious pizza that was hand made in front of us. Can t wait to go back and see how things work out.

Tried out Parkwood for the first time and will be back soon for sure. Staff are super friendly and the service was great. We sat at the bar and the open kitchen concept was really cool to watch. I had the margarita pizza and my partner had the carrot hummus. Both were really tasty. The pizza crust was perfect. Lots of great drink choices included some pretty cool mock-tails
Came in to grab a bite to eat ended up getting a super yummy cute drink and some mac n cheese . The food was amazing the staff was even more amazing. Definitely will be frequenting this place

Very cool spot. Excellent food and service. Had the pretzel appetizer, then fried chicken sandwich, Margherita pizza, kale Caesar salad and southwest Mac and cheese.
Really great pizza! It was a bit hard to find the place, but tottaly worth I d just recommend a little bit more cheese in my pizza ! I had amarguerita pizza

Great atmosphere. But be aware the dip aint cheap. My appetizer was 7.50 but was suggested a dip flight with pizza. 4 dips cost 10 doll hairs

Absolutely delicious dinner yet again. The pizza was delicious, campfire was unreal and thebreaded chicken sandwich was perfect in every way. And not to mention the New York sour was scrumptious! Cant wait to return :)
