Went for dinner on the outdoor patio and had fish tacos. They were tasteless, deep fried, and too expensive ($31 for 3). Took a long time to get my food considering it was deep fried. The beer was good

First time visiting and went for lunch after a visit to a nearby farm. It was very yummy, we had the sausage platter, pub salad and a gigantic pretzel. I am allergic to onions so it was nice they made a different dressing for my salad. It was delish! The picnic tables were so cheery with their bright colors. Wish I took a photo! My hubby liked the beer. We will definitely be back, since it s nice to get out of the city.

Stopped here for lunch earlier this week, with friends, while biking the nearby rail trail. So impressed with the beautiful converted church building, the excellent service, selection of beers and the lunch menu. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. The Bohemian pilsner is top notch. And the meatloaf, with its blend of duck, lamb and bison is the absolute best ever. Dont miss this place if youre in the area.

We came here with our dog, they gave him water and we had the best burgers and beer! It was so delicious and the staff were so nice and helpful!

This place is hands down one of the better breweries North of Toronto. Great selection of beers, a fresh atmosphere and simply delicious food. The staff are excellent and the live music on Saturdays makes for an epic vibe. It s worth the drive. Enjoy!

My wife and I went here just as a local spot to check out, it was great. Amazing small town vibe, Great personable hostesses. Food was top grade, a lil pricey, but well worth it. My wife ordered the tacos, and I, the open face smoked meat sandwich. As a man who is connected to a butcher, their meat was great! Highly recommend this place. Also kool its an old church. Even our car breaking down, was not a problem we went in and had another cold beverage.

One of the few places that we return to for different occasions throughout the seasons! In summer, they have outdoor covered seating; in winter, they have the old church hall and outdoor tents available. Communal tables, attentive service, occasional live music, twinkle lights, craft beer and seasonal dishes (always delicious!) it s a small town vibe. Parking: Free parking in small lot Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages are welcome, but they re not equipped for babies and toddlers (no high chairs, change tables or special menus)

This is hands down my favourite restaurant of all time. I am well travelled and love trying new foods & places, but I always find myself coming back here for more! A German styled restaurant in the heart of a small town is exactly what is needed and wanted! Thank you to the whole staff and owners

The food and beer is excellent we enjoyed it. However one of my family member was disabled and this place is not ADA compliant. That was disappointing.

Nice little brewery. I m not a craft beer guy so I got the Red-Eye. Food was great. Son got the steak and Poutine amazing. Daughter enjoyed the Cheeseburger. Pretzel was huge.

Lovely dinner with neighbours on a snowy winter eve. Portions were generous. The brussels sprouts are not to be missed. Great schnitzel and tortiere. Delicious fries. Best beer. Good service. Enthusiastic staff. And since then, crave their cheeseburger. Simple and delicious. Not to be copied anywhere.

Really cool place but the service is not great; it s a confusing set-up for first time customers. As an experienced server and bartender, I have A LOT of suggestions to improve customer service. But the thing is, it s an aesthetically cool brew pub located in an old church in the middle of nowhere, so people will keep coming (including me) so they ll probably never bother improving their service

The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff was friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area. Came across this little gem on a day trip from Toronto. Amazing atmosphere. You can eat inside the church or out in the greenhouses. Great food and music.

Food is consistently good, the service is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. I reccomend the sweet potato tacos. The patio is amazing when the weather is good but even in the winter I can take my jacket off in the heated outdoor area and I am still comfortable.

Visited a few times for a bite to eat and drinks! Amazing experience every time. We started buying our kegs from here, they have speedy delivery and FANTASTIC communication. Highly recommend! Always fresh and always SO good.

This place is the best! Fantastic people first and foremost. The beer, the food, the feel both in the Church and on the patio summer or winter is second to none. We visit in the summer alot! Throughout the winter months it is very much worth the drive (for us about 50 minutes). If you have not checked out this place you are missing out...keep it up team! (Finnigan loves it there too!)

Such a unique place. We were greeted so warmly and made to feel like we were regulars. Started outside in the heated greenhouse before getting a spot inside. It is a converted church. Beer was great as was food. A hidden gem.

Honestly one of the top meals I had. Everything here was great. I went with a larger group so we ordered most stuff from the menu. The sausages were a bit bland, but other things were great. Definitely try their beers with the sandwich and burger.

Suggest reservations; as this place is booked and even the outside is so busy with takeout and outside dining. A must visit to dine with friends! Service and food was so great!

I had a great experience at Caledon Hills Brewery. My kids and I enjoyed the atmosphere and to be in a warm spot after a long cold hike. My sons burger was mouth watering but I also noticed his fries were uncooked. My other son had a schnitzel with delicious sausage and eggs I also had this and thought the schnitzel was plain. The Hot chocolate was very comforting and my kids enjoyed this experience in the new town weve been exploring looking for a bigger variety of trails and hikes . The service was very good and helpful and I recommend this warm spot to anyone exploring the beautiful hills of Caledon.

What an amazing place! The atmosphere was a lot of fun, the staff was top notch and the food was next level good. Add to that a ton of beverage selections, and we re hooked. Lucky enough to get a table for their trivia night last week (which was a lot of fun!). So grab a group and make a night out of it. We will be back soon.

Loved this place! Ate here recently and ordered the burgers and the fries. Also got the flight of beers too. The burger was fresh and juicy, the toppings were a perfect touch to the burger. The friends were nice and hit and crispy, a lot of flavour coming from the eggs and kimchi. Would for sure be back to try other menu items!

First time here and we loved it. A decent beer selection (but no IPAs?!?) and the food was amazing. You have to serve yourself, but that s sometimes a good thing so you don t have to wait for a server to get something.

After hiking in Albion hills we were looking for a nice place to eat. So we found this brew pub which is only 2 km away from Albion Hills Conservation Area. I wish I had found it sooner. The food, beer and ambience was just perfect!! Although it is 40 kms from my house we are going to be regulars here. Thank you so much CHBC team.

Awesome locally brewed beer and amazing food i had the tuna with a salad. My companions had the cheese burger. Salad was fabulous and my guests said cheese burger wad one the best they ever had. We sampled half of the extensive beer selections and were very good.

Been there a few times. Good food, 1 star because they just dont answer their phone. About 10 calls over three days, no answer and cannot leave a message. Wanted to find out if we needed a reservation. I guess I dont need to know anymore since I wont be dining/ drinking there again... Pretty sad in this day and age.

We were a big group, tried a bunch of items on the menu. The food and the beer was just okay for us. Not sure what the raving reviews are about. Also, the Nachos were stale and rather lacking!

Great dining and craft beers. Dropped in here while bicycling the Caledon Trail from Terra Cotta to Palgrave. Had the Curry Wurst (Sausage) and fries, which were excellent along with a draft Oktoberfest style beer. Great food, drink, and service. A quaint place (old church) with outdoor patio in the good weather. Highly recommend trying .

Came on a Saturday afternoon for the live music, German-style beers, and food. The beer garden has a great vibe! Its worth going inside the brewerys main building too, its gorgeous inside.

Wow....just wow. Thats all I can say..Ive been following this company for quite some time and I buy the beer at the grocery store. Today I actually made it down the restaurant and I am so glad I did. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere made me feel like I was in a Hallmark Christmas movie. The location is spotless and what an ambiance. I havent even finished my meal and I am already planning my next trip back. What an experience, Ive been looking for a place like this for a long time. Thank you Caledon Hills!

Caledon Hills craft Beers are really good and new recipes are great too The new Cream Ale is better than everyones favourite yellow can Vienna lager. The Brew Pub is a really good pub style with generous serving sizes and good tasting food. Ashley was an exceptional server and we had a real nice Birthday dinner and time here inside which fit a group of 7 and the patio was also fantastic when weather permits. Outstanding Beer and good pub food!! And the manager Sam not Samantha she says is also great!! We were back today and tried the French Onion soup and it is amazing with real fresh baked bread with melted cheese on top so ask for a fork and knife to eat it and Enjoy! Abd Hannah with a friendly smile was great serving us!

Fun little church spot that was converted into a tab room and restaurant. Their beers are on point but the food definitely stands out. What a great place to check out!

cute comfy place with good drinks, couldnt ask for more, its nice to have local places like this to support :). The first time i went here I was hesitant about some things (kimchi in tacos sounded so odd to me) and yet every time I try something new I am pleasantly surprised, lots of fusions that surprisingly work well! Very nice place with kind staff, very clean and cozy. Wait time (like every restaurant) depends on the size of your group and how busy they are, which is fine with me because the bigger the group the more catching up there is to do! With a big group the wait was probably like 15 minutes that only felt long because it smelled amazing in there. Plus they have games to play while you wait if your conversations start to get stale. Lots of fun music and events like trivia night, it makes me really happy places like this exist to keep the community lively.

Update: they have a beautiful location for dine in now (even heated private huts for the colder weather) and delicious food too.

Place looks great. I tried one of the beers that I took home with me and it is a really nice beer (Bohemian Pils). Looks like they have done a great job of keeping the patio open with (I think) portable ice fishing huts over each table - clever idea. I need to be up in the area more often lately, so I will look forward to returning. Was back up with local friends for some beers and dinner...wow! Food as good as their beer - all 4 of is were very impressed!

How AMAZING !! Not only are the ice huts a perfect idea, the server was friendly and the food fantastic !!! Even better they encourage dogs .

This place is an absolute gem. If you ve been here before, you know why. We ordered the cheeseburger and fries, chicken schnitzel, pretzel and sweet potato tacos. For drinks we ordered the Vienna lager, winter solstice, buckstown bock, bohemian Pilsner and mango seltzer. We asked for small cups so that we could do our own little tasting (they don t have flights at the moment but apparently it s coming soon). I can t say enough good things about the food, drinks, service and atmosphere. We had a great experience and we look forward to coming back soon

Father s Day lunch with the kids . No reso was needed . Server was very nice food was quite good. Pretzel and Salad were excellent.

Teach your dishwasher boy how to use a POS system, Id rather not ring your bell three times to pay for my tab. We shouldnt *have* to wait 5 minutes at the counter when this is a family run brewery. Dont sit inside here, small, smelly and customer service is non existent. Beer was good though. Side note, gravel in the patio area is awkward to walk on, mind your footing.

Went to Caledon Hills Brewery for lunch with my neighbors and I was impressed. The service was great, we chose to sit outside, the patio is covered with umbrellas. The food was delicious! We had fried Brussels sprouts, crushed chickpeas sandwich, All very tasty. They have a good selection of food compared to other places in the area. We loved the Kolsch.

GREAT spot! Had a flight and all the beers were tasty. Clean lines, not soapy or skunky. A good variety of beer types. Also had lunch - giant pretzel (truly large! Soft and salty), chicken wings (very crispy outside, moist inside, not over sauced) and smoked salmon sandwich (delicious salmon paired well with toppings that complimented and not overpowered). Service was quick and very friendly. Patio was lovely with plenty of shape and not overcrowded. Can t wait to go back!

My sister and I went for lunch, we were a bit early. As we sat waiting, the loud music to drown out noise from HWY 50 began to irritate. We walked to the window to order and the volume of music surged and then we ran.

Gorgeous Friday afternoon spent on the patio, sipping lagers (Vienna & Helles) and having a bite for lunch. Friendly and helpful service when you walk in and order from the window. Enjoyed a chicken schnitzel sandwich with blue cheese and hot sauce, while the giant, hot pretzel was equally perfect alongside the Helles. Definitely worth a stop in Palgrave, if youre travelling up hwy 50.

Since opening, I always go to this place to get a real schnitzel sandwich and have a beer, with it. In the past, the food quality and the service were always consistently great and thats why I stopped there every time I was bike riding on the Caledon Trailway Path. I did the same today. Being a busy time, at around 3:15 pm I ordered for take out two schnitzel sandwiches, one with salad and the other with fries. I did not even look in the bags, and 5 minutes later when I opened them here is what I found in both: the schnitzel was placed in a cheap burger bun, and it was so disgustingly soggy, we could barely remove the wrapping paper from it. It had so much spice, it actually burned my mouth and left no room for enjoying it. Most of the fries were burned, like left overs at the end of the day at a fast food restaurant. Luckily enough their good beer we also purchased was able to wash down, what was actually edible. To compliment the above, there were no napkins or utensils provided in the bags. I do not remember if we were asked about spicy/not spicy, napkins or utensils in the past. I can assure you that this time we were not. I will definitely give this place one more chance. However this time they left us completely down, and thats reflected in the star rating. Hopefully they will read this review so, next time, I will have a good reason to update it with a more positive one.

This brewery/restaurant is STUNNING, and the patio vibe is . The food was pretty good, with the portion sizing pretty decent and the price slightly above reasonable, but I definitely think its the aesthetic and patio set up that sold this for me! I dont think its very accessible (but I only came from near the parking lot, not through the church building, so dont quote me on that!), but the patio was child-friendly with non-alcoholic options for drinks! Vegetarian options: I had a melt (like a grilled cheese), and there were were salads, so there are vegetarian items! I dont think anything was vegan, though. Parking: There is parking, though its limited. There might be nearby street parking as well. Kid-friendliness: There was a couple that brought their kids to eat on the patio together!

Last night my daughter husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and having a wonderful experience at Caledon Brew Pub. We each had one of their exquisite beers and had the Wednesday night special wings and enjoyed hamburgers which are a staple menu item.Lets talk about the quality of the gigantic burgers which were juicy and delicious and the fresh cut fries with the garlic mayo!!!! Yum!Our children had already been fans of this place having been here in the tents over covid!Keep up the good work and the only downside was we live in ancaster so it will be a little while before we can return!!!!!!

We have been eating her since COVID! Burger is a smash burger and amazing! We love their summer Seltzers and hope they keep them into the winter! Patio is always busy and the service is always good! Sometimes they are booked for private functions so check if you are driving to get there.. near a biking trail so popular with walkers and cyclists!

The service was excellent. The owners and staff are very hospitable, and they did everything to make our visit a vey enjoyable one. Loved the beer, the food, and the whole experience. Cant wait to visit again!

We went here for lunch today and the food was fresh and so tasty! Highly recommend the schnitzel sandwich. We will be coming back for sure!

One of my favourite breweries in Ontario! Food is exceptional (and alternating menu) Best roasted cauliflower soup and sweet potato tacos youve ever had! The bohemian pilsner is the best. I really enjoyed the Oktoberfest beer. Top notch. Its a cutsie church renovation with covered patio space as well as the indoor dining area.

Went with my wife and 15 month old son for dinner on Sunday. Great food and beer, will definitely be visiting again.

Ill be back for more. We took our bicycles from Schomberg to the brewery. A great travel treat. A beer at the bottom of a hill is like extra gravy on your smashed buttery clouds of tatters. Sun was setting. I had a quick delicious brew on the patio. The Oktoberfest hit the spot; slight zip of bitterness, ideal colour and crisp. Thats why we do tasters beer folks. Line em up! We pulled in with the bikes just as more patrons made their way to the dining room. A solid idea to look forward to - the dining experience. Beer was on point. Thank you, good folks. See you, again.

The place is good. Limited seating inside but they have a patio thats cute and cozy. The burger was great and the home made fries were delicious. The schnitzel was just ok....an Italian panino would be better than the toast bread they serve it on. Its not really a service place. You go to a window, order, and someone walks it over to you. Id be back for sure.

One of the best burgers I have ever had. The food was hot, and delicious! We sat in the outside patio huts and it was nice and warm, considering it was below 0. There was a variety of games to play. The beer was great too! Will definitely be back!

We hosted my fathers celebration of life at Caledon Hills Brewery on Oct 1st and the team was nothing short of phenomenal. From the upfront menu planning, logistics and service onsite- The food, drinks and atmosphere throughout the day were wonderful. We had more than 100 people drop in through the duration of the event and everyone commented afterwards on how fantastic the venue, food and beverages were. The servers went above and beyond to ensure me and my sister (the hosts) always had a drink in our hands. If youre considering hosting a private event here or just visiting for a meal, you will be in good hands- Dont hesitate!
