Probably the worst (maybe weirdest?) service i ve ever had in my life..Made the group totally uncomfortable. Food is also hit or miss these days. Take your money elsewhere!!

I celebrated my boyfriends birthday yesterday at Cobblestone Public House in Paris, Ontario, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and taken care of, making the night feel truly special. The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu offered a fantastic selection, catering to all tastes, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. Food, service and ambience always exceptional. Great wings, friendly staff and pub-ish feel makes it a great establishment. Wish they still had Guinness on tap, but thats a little bit of favoritism creeping in. LOL Love it here. 11/06/24 - stopped in for drinks. Always cordial, inviting and a great place to to relax.

Stopped in for dinner before a show up the street. The perch platter was ok - would have preferred pan fried over deep fried fillets but the portion was pretty generous. Reasonable selection of brews on tap. It was a very busy place on a Saturday night.

We went for dinner and had an excellent experience. Our food was super tasty, priced very reasonably and the service was great. Vegetarian options: Quite a few selections to choose from. The tortellini was super tasty as well as the brie veggie burger was huge and so good. Also loved the Greek salad. Kid-friendliness: Gave us a booster seat. The kids meal deal is a good value. They have a change table upstairs which is also useful.

Wheelchair accessibility: I would not call this place wheel chair friendly or even mobility impaired accessible. Doors are narrow, tables are close and washrooms are at the top of a flight of stairs.

i don t know even know how many times i ve been here, but every single time is an experience in a half. it s always so delicious and the waiters there are so lovely and very funny, you can certainly connect with them very easily. food though 11/10, so delicious. wings and burgers, oh my goodness! incredibleeee! love them lots!

Great place for lunch. I had the best Cobb salad Ive ever had with blue cheese dressing and it was large enough for 2 people to have a full meal plus the price was right at $20. My husband had fish and chips with coleslaw and he really enjoyed it too especially the large piece of fish. Would definitely go back. We happened to get in without a reservation for Sunday lunch but it was very busy and I would make reservations next time. Parking: We parked a distance from the restaurant and walked. We could only park on the street near a church until 2 pm so had to rush back to our car after eating.

I made an online reservation for Aug 16 at 630 once we found a parking spot we went in , waitress couldn t find reservation, I showed her confirmation of reservation on my phone , she looked again and nothing. She found us a spot to sit. She (squeezed ) sat us in the back part of restaurant at a small table off to the side. When we sat down , table legs were wobbly and uneven, we waved waitress over and told her about it, her response was I ll get some coasters to fix and walked away. At that moment we stood up and left. Horrible experience from start to finish! Lack of parking started it, not having our reservation, to the crappy small wobbly table they sat us at. We will not be back! I wouldn t have gave 1 star but there wasn t an option for 0

Gotta be honest, didnt try the food because we never got that far. Had reservations... online that we had to show the hostess... said she still couldnt find reservation... its on the phone with a reservation number. Anyway, obviously put her off because suddenly we are led to a table off the side squeezed into a corner.... table rocks back and forth (not just a little). Hostess comes over and we show her the table... she goes to get some coasters to put under a leg... like... really? Thats enough for me, three strikes and youre out.

We told the waitress we were looking for the best mojito in Ontario and she under the assignment! Definitely a top contenders. Nachos were delicious too!

Food was great. Dont think our server wanted to be at work that day! Food was ok. Ps order the dinner size Ceasar salad. No assessable parking. Can get ticket for parking outback.

The wings are too small for the price, they look like pigeon and not chicken and they are practically not covered in sauce, they almost have no sauce and they were overcooked. The hamburger was ok, bit still Ive tried better. I thought it had a view of the river but there is little you can see, but the service was good

This is our favourite place to eat in Paris! Although same owners as Stillwaters and Capeesh, I find the food here is WAY better. Everything is super fresh and always delicious no matter what you order. Our favourites are the buttermilk buffalo bird sandwich (my hubby only gets this now since they added it to the menu), crispy cod sandwich, fish and chips, perch, burgers, nachos, french onion soup, etc. The interior is a pub and a bit dark, but they are working with the space they have :) They used to have a patio out back during covid times which was incredible, but they had to close it because it was too difficult to manage with their small kitchen (and servers had to walk up and down stairs every time, which was a lot!). Parking: Parking either on the street (usually full) or behind restaurant by the Canada post - sometimes full, so budget some time to find a spot. Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free on Tuesdays with a purchase of adult meal! Very generous portions for children!!

Great place and a Paris institution! Food is great and service was awesome. The place isnt very accessible though as bathrooms are up a large set of stairs so watch out for that if stairs are a concern. The atmosphere is very old school pub with lots of wood and old decor. Food is good and this is my favorite of the restaurant group but not one I would choose every week.

Wish I had taken a pic...they have a beef on a specialty bun main that says, you will have a hard time finishing this size of a portion. DAMN .. 10 out of 10. We did the leftovers the next day for lunch. Hats off guys. taste was awesome.

My family went here for lunch during an hockey tournament. There was a large booking and they sat my in-laws who are disabled in the back . They then went to seat another large party and they forced my in-laws to get up from their table telling them they couldn t sit there anymore. They suggested to them to sit at the bar which is difficult for both of them because of their prosthetic legs. It s a high top. At this point there were no tables left so my in-laws had no choice but to leave. What a disappointing experience. They were also very rude. Would never go back. Do not recommend. Not a very inclusive restaurant The washrooms are also located on the second floor so it s not wheelchair accessible.

Burgers have been so yummy, perfect sized and with fresh ingredients, as expected. And we desperately needed to try all of the desserts. Absolute Favorite: sticky toffee pudding!! Totally happy with our choice to stop by and have lunch.

We go often on Wednesday for wing night. Our favourote are the garlic parmesean and cajun. Theservice is great. THe little room in the back is nice and ypu can see tje water, however its noisy wjen buisy. The staff are pleasant, prices are good. Other items ive enjoyed are fiah and chips, the bugers, turkey apple and brie. Would love if they offered some local ciders. Great vibe

Excellent service with a wonderful view of the river from the rear seats. The waiting staff were very friendly (even helped me prank my son) and thoughtful (bringing extra water while my kids struggled to eat their hot wings). It can get a little loud but its reasonable for the size of the restaurant. Portions were on point, even the kids meals. This is a new favourite for our family; looking forward to coming back!

We like to eat here and look out the bay window at the river and watch for trains on the trestle. There is only one draw back there is only access to a washroom upstairs and no elevator as it is a very old building.

Went there for lunch with a friend. I had the brie and apple burger sooooo good. My friend had the poutine and said it was delicious. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Well be back!

The entrees were amazing, too bad the server did not enter our appetizer into the system to be prepared, by the time we realized we were not getting the Torpedos our entrees were on the table, a little late to bring it up by then. The place was not super busy when we were sat. Once the entrees arrived, the other waitress said, Is there anything else you need from me, almost waiting to be dismissed, I have never heard is there anything else I can get for you put quite that way before.

First time here, the food was amazing. The reuben had tons of meat! The wings my other half got were huge. Even just look at that house salad! I was just expecting tomato and cucumber, but it had green pepper, onions, and chickpeas.

Preferred date night spot! Fun atmosphere with great staff and patrons. Food has always been wonderful. A great spot for families, couples date nights or a fun night out with the girls.

Was excited to try Cobblestone for the first time with my Grandmother for New Years after hearing all good things. The food was alright, nothing to write home about. Lettuce wasnt the freshest in our salads, and chicken fingers left much to be desired. Our server was downright nasty though. She was snarky and rude for no reason, like she was annoyed to have us. I doubt Ill ever return after that...

We decided to go to Cobblestone for dinner. Despite being a couple weeks before Christmas they were just as fast and yummy as usual. The waitress was very on top of making sure we had what we needed and that everything was done to perfection. If you are in the are and looking for a nice little pub-type restuarant this is your place.

I am such a fan of this Local Paris Pub! Airy and beautifully located on the river, in the summer I enjoy a cold pint on their patio and in the winter, a cozy glass of wine in their warm and welcoming dining lounge. Lovely and prompt staff, little wait if you do not have a rezo (recommend making one tho) and the half deal wing price on a Wednesday- Let s get these fingers saucy!

We just love this place , its about 1-1/2 hr drive for us but we make the trip just for the cobblestone. The food , service and atmosphere is great.

When we first stepped in, and were greeted by a hostess and a newbie in training with the loveliest smiles, I knew this was going to be good. Now, I will say first, the website said something to the effect that they dont take special requests with seating preferences and I get that, I bet in the summer the outdoor patio(s?) are packed! This was a winter night and a Tuesday at that. It was packed! Not a soul on the street in this calm quiet little town. I think everyone was in here for dinner! The backroom was filled with a table of men that were loud and having a great time but they quietened down when their food arrived .. LOL. Nevertheless, we asked if we could sit in a booth closer to the front. (Hey, it was our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebration and this escape to Paris, Ontario, was about romance ... and a few good meals.). They obliged and a booth was perfect for us lovebirds. I ordered a banana pineapple drink that was very good. When the fruit slice topping is freshly cut, you know youre in for a treat. The hubby ordered a turkey brie club sandwich with cesear salad and I ordered an apple brie burger with onion rings. As this escape was all about sharing/caring; I shared my dinner and he enjoyed part of mine too. Both meals were superb! Seems like a small thing to some but when a burger shows up and the bun isnt squished with a finger print by the cook, that makes me happy. The condiments were bang on perfect. It was picture perfect! You know when you bite into an onion ring and it pulls apart? These didnt do that and they werent greasy so that was a WIN! Too full for dessert but they had a Sticky Toffee Pudding and my followers now I love a good STP! So, we will be back this summer on our motorcycle to enjoy the patio and Ill save room for dessert! The waitresses were all very attentive, even the staff behind the cooks counter wished us well as we were leaving. Well done, Paris, well done!

Arrived with 10 in our party. We were seated by the kitchen where we experienced listening to a girl in the kitchen who wasn t very polite to the staff in the kitchen. Watching her wipe her hands on her apron after preparing every meal also wasn t the best. Food took a while to come out. Orders messed up. Just wasn t a great experience to show my family were from out of town. From entry to exit excellent service from all staff: greeter, waitress, chefs. Cosy atmosphere, nice surroundings. Food looked great and tasted delicious. We will look forward to returning.

I had my first in house meal on Saturday which included their rib night. Ribs were fall off the bone. Amazing. We called ahead to watch the hockey game and they made sure we had a nice spot for the tv and turned it up for us to hear. We have ordered take out from this place and have never been upset. I will now be making this place my weekly spot to go. Amazing service and staff.

We had a great time at Cobblestone in Paris! Food was fantastic, as well as the drinks ( you must try their Sangria!) The service was great, thank you Lauren for taking such good care of us and in particular to accommodate our one year old twins grandchildren. We will be definitely back !

Had the Reuben and it did not disappoint. A little pricey for lunch, but portions were good!

The big FN beef is life changing. I will forever compare every sandwich I eat from this day forward to that beautiful mound of sliced roast striploin and they all will fall short. Fries and gravy were also spectacular. If I lived closer I would never eat at home again.

Food was okay. We were celebrating a birthday and they were made aware of that. There was no dessert or even a happy birthday. Servers could smile more, we didn t feel overly welcomed. As well as the service was off, our waitress was quite hard to flag down at times when we needed something. Drinks from the bar were also just okay. Mine was made wrong and I tried ordering a Pina Colada (popular drink) and they don t make them? Not sure if we d come back when we re in the area again.

Was expecting meh pub food but everything was amazing!!

Staff were very friendly, great service. For me, the restaurant (due to be so narrow) was quite loud. Two of us for lunch, my friends meal was very good, mine was okay - haddock fish and chips - far too much batter, fries looked to be from the bottom of the basket - small, hard, overcooked. That being said, I would still be willing to give this place another try.

Dining at Cobblestone is always a great experience. The portions are huge, the food is delicious, waitresses are friendly and I enjoy sitting by the window with a view of the Grand River. I have had the Short Rib Poutine and the Lemon Pepper Salmon and both were perfect.

Every single server seemed amazing and very friendly but ours. She was very abrupt and short with us. She could not be bothered to let us even finish ordering the food we wanted. When we did order we were met with comments like and I quote ugh I am going to guess you will want it all at once too and when checked on she again would state Im guessing you want a refill. There are many more examples. It had my partner and I feeling like we were in the way and just decided to pack up pay the bill and go. Going on the back of another review it was busy but empty and they seem to base their service on how much income they will get or locals who come to eat often. I guess $100.00 was not enough. However the food was amazing and the place was cozy prices were fair. But I have never felt more uncomfortable with a waitress as I have with the one we had.

We decided to visit Paris at the weekend and booked a reservation for 12.30 midday. We arrived earlier and the friendly staff allowed to chose a table away from some screaming kids at the back - that was great, if like me high pitched noises give you headaches, dizziness etc The food was a bit delayed, yet it was great and we noticed they have a huge variety of options courtesy of the cook, Raj who probably likes giving a new twist to well knows meals from around the world. The starter was the deep fried cheese curds and while I wanted to be more adventurous with the main, I decided to stick with the fish and chips because I only like halibut while my other half had the chicken curry he enjoys so much. The staff was friendly, the place had character and the whole Paris city centre although being only a long road packed with shops and restaurants, some having the quirkiness of the international traveller while others were a complete miss, reminded me of the early days of the pioneers from western movies. Well, what do you expect: I am an European.

A little bit expensive, but not crazy. No outside patio since covid. I had cheese filled tortellinis and they were delicious and it was a very large portion.

We dropped in for lunch and we re pleased to get a table since it was a busy time. (Butter Tart festival). The service and entry s were excellent.

The staff was so rude, dismissive and the food was mediocre. The only good was the hostess.

Relatively busy Saturday. Service wasnt necessarily slow, but the waitress never came back to ask us how the meal was or if we needed drinks. The beef dip was fine, with cheddar cheese slices that felt very processed and fake. The sweet potato fries werent crisp at all, they were soggy. The beer doesnt feel as cold as it should be. Its not necessarily an affordable night out after tip, feels like the service and the food should be better for what you pay.

Oh snap, this was not a place to discover while trying to prepare for bathing suit season! The food is delicious, portions plentiful, staff friendly and food is delicious. (Yes, worth saying it twice!). Outdoor riverside patio is beautiful. Suggest you make reservations so you re not disappointed as they re hopping! You must try the cheese egg rolls good grief, they re out of this world! And you can order 1/2 portion of nachos (this isn t mentioned on the menu) they re dam good too! And try the pierogie- delicious!
