Dinner was good. I expected better chicken Parmesan than i had. I dont care for the bone in chicken Parmesan. First and last time for that meal. Both my husband and i were disappointed with the meal considering we waited at least 30 minutes from our appetizers and the main course. We were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary and i was disappointed. We were placed at the front when we got there. We would have liked to be in the upper section because it is a much nicer atmosphere especially for an Anniversary dinner. We have been there before and truly loved it but this time it was lacking in the atmosphere.

Celebrated my birthday at Anthonys and we were not disappointed. Service and food were exceptional. The menu options had something for everyone and we cannot wait to come back and try them all.

Food was good, pretty expensive though which is fine if the portions are generous, which they were not, however this place seemed a bit fancier then what I typically choose to dine at, I didnt know the names of most of the dishes, too fancy.

Always great, little bit on the formal side for Pembroke

Very expensive for very ordinary pasta dishes. $32 for 4 medium shrimp on fettuccine noodles. Son had gnocchi with a tomato pomodoro/ marinara sauce, (no meat) $30. Food tasted ok, but I could have gotten the same at east side Mario s for half the price. Atmosphere and service were fine. Website, description should be updated to reflect $$$$.

We had a great time visiting for Family Day/ Valentines day weekend. The food was so flavourful and delicious. The complimentary bread was also very good. If you like big portions it might not be for you, but is definitely worth trying. Its also on the more expensive side so it makes a good spot for special occasions. Dietary restrictions: 2 Gluten free pasta options were availible when we visited Parking: The best place to park is across the way at Tim Hortons. Theres not much parking space behind the restaurant. Street parking nearby has to be paid.

Amazing place with amazing food and wonderful service. The cocktails are well made and the Gnocchi is excellent, as is the fish. Absolutely make a point of eating here if your in the area.

Took more than an hour after ordering for our food to arrive. We had no appetizers. This would have been acceptable if the food had been enjoyable. At least one person from our party became quite ill after their meal. Extremely limited options for any dietary restrictions.

Went for New Years Eve. Upon making the reservation, I wasnt told it would be a set menu (I actually chose Anthonys over another restaurant because the other had a set menu). Even with a set menu, there were still lots of choices. The food was amazing and plentiful, and it was actually half the price of the other place I was considering. I love the atmosphere at Anthonys. It is actually one of my favorite places to go for a nice night out. In an area full of Lower-End/ Boring Restaurants that seems to have the same bland menu items (Kelseys, BP, Eastside Marios, etc.), Anthonys is a nice change. Its not overpriced in comparison, the portions and food is always great. I really hope this place stays around for many years to come. Vegetarian options: They have salads, baked Brie, soups, cheese dips, pastas, desserts, ect. They will try to accommodate accordingly (if possible). Im not sure how vegan friendly the menu would be (probably not very many options for that), but for vegetarian options, there are quite a few. Parking: I always park down the hill behind city hall/the restaurant itself. There are a few visitor parking spots, and theyre almost always available during supper/late night hours. There are also a few street parking spots, which are usually free (you dont have to pay) during nights and weekends. There is also a large parking lot across the street that Im sure is intended for the businesses of that space, but I have had accompanying parties park in that larger lot and walk across the street with no issues of being ticketed. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is a cobble stone like walkway (no stairs) that, although a bit bumpy, should be accessible by wheelchair. The inside is also wheelchair accessible (except for the upper level that is accessed by stairs), as they have different sections of the restaurant that Ive seen be utilized for dining areas, as well as smaller ramps within the restaurant.

This place is to be fine dining . One Friday night we made reservations for 6 . You can expect to pay about 100 bucks per person with drinks 2 beers and 1 pop . Our bill was 205 with tip that the sever didnt deserve . She was more worried about the ones with bottle service . I would of rather gone to the Keg or just about anywhere else . With in 2 hours of a 3 hrs stint the place was busy and you couldnt even hear yourself . My wifes filet mignon was a tough chunk of meat at med rare . Mine was also med rare . Worst steak Ive had not even to mention lobster tail chewy and over cooked at 28 bucks for just a tail . ..... I spoke with the manager and he dismissed me as quick as I came to talk to him . All in alll I will not darken their door ever. 600 dollar table with terrible service . And worse food . Looks like Ill keep going to ottawa for fine dinning .

Absolutely amazed by the service received by Debra, Monique and Hannah! The food and menu was varied and was second to none. Everyone enjoyed their meals and tremendous hospitality and attention to every detail of our evening. Highly recommended for special occasions - You will not be disappointed.

Our server was very pleasant and professional. The restaurant is beautiful. There were a couple of items on the menu that were not available. The chef prepared the wrong meal. A free dessert was offered. The meals were very tasty.

The food and ambience were nice. The restaurant wasnt very busy. My service was quite slow. There was a table locals who were fawned upon by the server and owner. The owner made a passing comment just as I left. I have no ambition to be the center of attention, but I felt pretty redundant.

We had a large family dinner here with about 30 people. They have an awesome room for groups overlooking the river and sunset, with a gorgeous staircase (top notch photo location). The service was excellent- everyone got exactly what they ordered and it s clear they have their systems in place to facilitate groups. Moreover, they were so patient, helpful and friendly. The food was fabulous. Top votes were for the halibut and the ravioli, and everyone loved their desserts. Highly recommend Anthony s!

Nice and quiet, friendly staff, good selection of food. They have a great atmosphere that is quite. They accommodated food sensitivities and special needs very very well. The waitress who served us were so very kind and helpful. All the guests were friendly and talkative. Excellent restaurant I would come back! Parking is available on the street or in the back. It s a great place to try if you are visiting! It s clean and comfortable nice place to talk and really take a night off. Slow down and enjoy!

We were there on Prime Rib Friday. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place, especially if youre looking for tasty prime rib.

Impressed, starting with the wine selection, they hit the 2 best northern region (in my mind) for red wine; Piedmont and Veneto (they also have a Classico). Appetizer, nothing to complain but a classic Italian prosciutto based amuse bouche would wrap their menu. I had the veal bocconcini which I was slightly skeptical for the amount of salt but was surprise of the balance, didnt feel the rush between the sauce, cheese, prosciutto and veal (Vedge slightly overcooked). My wife add the butternut squash lune, once again a well balance plate. Lastly, not a complaint but, they have 2 meals with risotto has side, I wounder if they could add a meal in their menu with only risotto. Will definitely go back

Gnocchi was very good and the service was excellent!

Last Saturday night I had what was quite likely the best meal Ive ever had in a restaurant. The service was top notch, the atmosphere is always amazing. The chicken pesto fettuccine.... absolutely done perfectly. Whoever cooked it deserves a Nobel prize or something, its three days later and I still crave more. Too many good things to say, amazing. For as long as we are in Pembroke this will be our go to place to dine. Well done! Additional details: went back again two nights ago, absolutely amazing again, they keep raising the bar and exceed it everytime, spend your money at Anthonys folks, they do not disappoint ever.

I cant say enough good things about Anthonys Italian Grill. The food was fresh and amazing. The service was fast ,friendly, efficient and extremely polite(Great job Hannah). This place is classy, yet not out of reach of most people. I highly recommend trying Anthonys. Im going back again and again until i sample the whole menu.

I have had veal parmigiana at many places in many cities in the USA, but the best of all was at Anthonys Italian Grill (a restaurant we found while on the way from Quebec toward Upper Michigan) The veal, the light breading, the sauce, the preparation were all excellent. My wifes chicken dish was also rated highly by her. Parking: 30 spots or more; we parked on the street in front of the restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in downtown Pembroke. If I were to go again, it would definitely be on a special occasion as the price can be a bit high for a casual outing. The service was amazing, and the food was phenomenal. I fell in love with their shrimp lemon pasta! Definitely going back!

Got the new york steak. 50% fat for a $36 steak seems silly to me but each their own. Also not cooked to what i wanted.

The food is good and the waitress we had was super friendly. Definitely a great atmosphere. My only complaint is portions are TINY. I ordered the ravioli and it was only 4 raviolis. Over $90 for the 2 of us and we left still hungry. And this is coming from a small 120 pound woman

Food is always top-notch (and a nice, robust, simple menu). Drinks/cocktails are good, nothing youll be disappointed by. Pacing and speed between order and deliver to table is just right to facilitate conversation and have a nice, leisurely experience without feeling rushed. Special note: Service has absolutely excelled every time we visit (1-2x a year). Everyone we interact with has been exceptionally personable, making us feel comfortable, important, and friendly right away. The 4/5 rating here is what I would put as an 8-9/10 elsewhere.

Was there for a Xmas party, we were upstairs. The group below us were extremely noisy we could not even hear each other talk The food was so so. Was expecting Italians but was a turkey dinner. Turkey was tuff and veg were hard as a rock was afraid to use your fork in case it went flying off your plate. We were told there would be appetizers but there were none . Bread was served after most of us had finished our meal. And waited 45 min for desert.

First visit to this place. Our server was so pleasant and very attentive. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and we had the benefit of the Santa Claus parade. Will definitely return. Food

Steak was cooked to our preference and delicious. Risotto was surprisingly almost as good as the steak. The baked brie though? Weird fishy flavour, did not enjoy at all. Maybe a freshness check was needed.

WOW! the service that Deb, Steve and their daughter gave to us was outstanding. The food was amazing and during these trying times catering a meal for 36 people all individually labelled and delivered hot and fast deserves huge kudos. They brought dishes and cutlery, and everything we needed, nothing was left out. You guys did an absolutely amazing job and the food was great to boot. Great restaurant, good food, the blonde butter churn girl was very helpful and cheerful which made the experience even better. She chose a good wine for us which we enjoyed. The price was fair and we would love to go again to try a new dish and wine.

Were working our way through Anthonys freezer meals. They are great! The seafood canneloni is incredible and the pot pies are just as good. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and then starting all over again. The meals seem like they have just come straight from their kitchen to our table.

We loved this place! Deb was is an amazing host and owner. We booked a small wedding dinner at this location and it was beyond our hopes and dreams. Deb was super responsive and helped us with all of our needs. We couldn t have been more happy to work with such an amazing person. Location is great, lots of parking and the cutest venue. Food was DELICIOUS! The veal and ravioli were amazing! Steak was great also! All of our guests left with full bellies and happy smiles. Will dine here again! Highly recommended! I love this place. There food is very good and tasty. The service, every time Ive went, was truly amazing and everything was though of. I also like the fact that the ambiance is soft and calm. Which allows for nice conversations with whomever you go. In overall I would absolutely recommend this place.

Make sure to rob a bank on your way there for East Side Marios quality food - last year..... This year they took half an hour to even see us, fixed expensive menu for Valentines day, which they didnt inform us, half the stuff on it wasnt available, waiting 2 hours for our food, food was wrong and with different sides then the menu said because they ran out but didnt tell us, sent food back because it wasnt cooked and then tried to push us out.... only good thing was the couple beside us that had the same problem and we became friends!

Had our first experience at Anthonys on Feb 20th. I had the pickerel-well cooked & portion was generous. Bruschetta was great-just enough garlic; bread was freshly made. My wife had Chicken Marsala, garlic mashed potatoes, carrots & asparagus. Excellent! Very flavourful! Unfortunately, we were both too full to enjoy dessert & coffee. Next time! Debbie was very accommodating & gracious when we asked to move our reservation up an hour due to an unexpected appointment later that evening. Our server, Shauna, was very pleasant, attentive to our needs and gave excellent service! We will be back!

Has been our favourite restaurant in the area for 5 years. We celebrate every special occasion here as the food, ambiance, and service is top notch. We feel welcomed as family by the staff who truly make the experience special. Our favorites are their ceasar salad, baked brie, mussels, and all the pastas...and their hand made gnocchi is to die for! Great desserts and specialty coffees wrap up the meal...or a flaming sambuca shot! Love this place! Ask for Hannah she is our favorite server! Great family owned gem.

Amazing food. Good prices. Went for our anniversary and we were treated excellent. Disappointed about a lack of dress code. Fancy place but people just show up off the street with dirty work clothes on while everyone else is dressed nice. I know you gotta make money but I honestly expected abit of class. Staff were super friendly. Our waitress was behind a day for the specials but that made it fun to tease her and she was funny.

Heard this was the place to go for a nice romantic dinner. Sure the food was good but the atmosphere not so much. There was no background music, it felt like we were sat in the middle of a ballroom (but not a nice one) the room was very cold and not romantic in the slightest. We didnt want to talk to loud because everyone would hear us, thats how quiet it was in this room.

Lovely ambience, delicious food, and great presentation. I had the pickled beet salad and loved it and then the prime rib special which was so tender and juicy.

Delicious lasagna. Espresso and cappuccino not made well, cold and late.

Been here 3 times. The 1st visit was good, the last was seafood pasta and the mussels had fishy odor and there was a small clam shell piece that wasnt seen before I put a fork in my mouth so I crushed it on the 1st bite. Maybe they have a different chef.

It was a special Christmas get together with fellow realtors. Excellent turkey dinner. Everyone enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.

I was there with a party of 20 or so. This is one establishment in Pembroke that can accommodate a large party separate from the regular diners, so that each party can enjoy the evening without disturbing the other. Food is good. A set menu will provide you with a good three course meal at a reasonable rate. I enjoyed the evening.

Attended a work function. Food was good. Not as good as in the past, but better than average. Staff is attentive. My overall impression was good.

Went there for a work Christmas party and was horrified. It was a set menu and no prices were listed. We each had 1 drink and our bill came to $150. Others at the table that drank a bit more but not excessively so had a bill over $500. Then a mandatory 18% tip was added to the bill. So long Christmas money. We were not for warned either. The food was okay but for close to $200 it should be equivalent to Gordon Ramsey cooking for you table side. I ordered Chicken Marsala. All the bones were in the chicken and you had to spend time trying to cut around it and all the other stuff in the bowl. It was not a pretty sight. Service was slow with few servers. For %18 i want a personal butler! Never will go there again unless i decide i have too much money and feel like wasting it. So very unlikely.
