This is by far my favourite place to eat in town. Used to order it once a week for staff lunches. I cant say Ive ever been unhappy with a meal from zaytuna. The food is healthy and delicious, made with love. The owner has always been very sweet and personable, and really cares about his customers. One of the workers, Sasha, has been an absolute delight every time Ive stopped in. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! My go to order in any of the paninis and the barley or quinoa salad, with a cappuccino or ice mochaccino 10/10, 5 stars, 100% recommend

The Reuben panini is yummmmm!

Had a salmon and brie panini and a latte. So good! $23 was a little steep, but great food isnt cheap.

Great friendly ambience and well designed restaurant together with clean countertops and environment gives this restaurant its charm. Vegetarian options: I highly recommend the cucumber salad and the mango salad. There is an option where you can get half portions of each of them.

I go here at least once a week and never get tired of the delicious paninis. I ve tried 5 and that s only about half of them on the menu and they re all incredible! The salads all look amazing too and the chai lattés are so good. Really nice little place with reasonable prices :)

This simple panini and salad shop delivers the goods! Their flavours are bang on for both the mains (paninis) and sides (pasta/potato/greek/etc) salads. Ill be craving their paninis now.

Stopped in a few weeks ago , food was great good size portion, decent price . We were served quickly , and dined in. Clean establishment friendly staff

Everything was amazing. It was very clean. I was expecting higher prices but I was satisfied with their prices as well as the quality of food. I cannot wait to go back.

Amazing customer service and food. Came here for the first time over the weekend and was very satisfied. The salads are so delicious. No lack of seasoning, and each salad on the menu is unique. I can tell their salads are made in-house with fresh ingredients daily. So much variety in their selection of panini s - it took me a few minutes to decide! And wow, their cappuccinos? *chefs kiss*. Such care and technique goes into what this cafe offers and I can t wait to go back. Literally craving this place right now!

Absolutely love this place! The girls from my work order from here almost once a week! I go between the mango salad and the quinoa salad! Delicious!

I had a delicious experience and great service!

Food was good. Smoothie WAS NOT They made me a second one because I swallowed plastic. I still found another piece gave it to them. The second was EXTREMELY chunky and both were room temperature. Had to ask for ice. NEED TO TEACH STAFF HOW TO MAKE SMOOTHIES. ALSO took way to long to make them. There was no line when we were waiting. Will not return for that reason. Not fan of waiting and setting up my own table?

The price of the sandwiches definitely matches the quality! Definitely worth the money for a quick take-out lunch on-the-go, or even a sit-down to enjoy some time with friends and family.

Sometimes you just travel 1000kms and you find a small shop. In the core of a small city and they serve you good food, will come back one day for the shawarma panini.

Delicious panini and Greek salad.

We were so excited to see this place open up as we cottage in Pembroke every summer. We stopped in for lunch this week, it was incredible! Delicious salads and pitas, great value and a beautiful seating area. Cant wait to go back. Definitely recommend this place.

The best place Ive ever been to. The food is amazing, love the music and the overall atmosphere of this place. My only regret is not coming here sooner.

Love the variety of food options coming to downtown Pembroke. Ive had Zaytounas lattes twice and they are delicious! I was disappointed in the apple salad... I was expecting a uniform blend of apples, fennel and the other toppings but the apples were so large and overtaking... I felt like I was only eating apples smothered in Dijon mustard. Salmon panini had nice flavor and tasted fresh... I Will go back to try more but their options for a vegetarian arent too abundant.

First time trying today. Had the chicken & tomatoe panini with pesto....side of risotto salad. EXCELLENT Fresh and full of flavors for both items. Definitely going back to try more in the future.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch. The only word that came to mind repeatedly while having lunch was WOW!. I had the apple Dijon salad and the BLT panini, my friend had the country boy panini and the orzo salad, we split the cheesecake. We were both throughly impressed and planning what we would get the next time we came for lunch! We were served by a very nice and friendly man (I was thinking he was the owner, but Im not sure). Thank you for a wonderful lunch! We will see you again soon!

Amazing and cute little place down town Pembroke! Very reasonably prices for the fresh & healthy meal that you re getting. They play cultured music to match the vibe of the restaurant, it was a great experience. I had the mango salad and the sun dried tomato sandwich. It was DELICIOUS, I ate half before I remembered to take a picture!

My wife and I visited Zaytouna for the first time today. We had the soup of the day (creamy sweet potato) I had the Palermo panini, while my wife enjoyed the Napolitan panini. The food was very fresh and tasty. We will be coming back!

We ended up finally stopping in for a very late lunch. We found the renovations to be well lit, comfortable, clean, and inviting. The set up made me think of somewhere where I would really enjoy studying, working on something, or having a good chat. Very comfortable seating. There is one smaller washroom and one washroom that I quickly peeked into with reviewing in mind. Both were extremely clean, done up in inoffensive colours, and were neutral in odour. The food itself was very good. Nice, fresh, well-balanced flavours with an ideal amount of protein and vegetable. The salads all looked delicious and we enjoyed what we had. The latte was delicious, although one employee was still being trained as a barista at the time of our visit and needed assistance in fulfilling our order. Very nice espresso machine, decent offering of other beverages, its all very nice. It could be said that things were a bit costly. 2 paninis, one salad, a San Pelligrino, large latte, and a slice of cheesecake totalled around $45. However, with the current economy, the fact that they renovated and opened a restaurant during lockdown, and that they have a comparable price-point to other local restaurants that I would compare them to-it really is just something to be accepted. I think my biggest complaint is that there would be very few options were I to bring my friend with celiac here. Also, an iced coffee option and house-made lemonade would be appreciated as we move into warmer weather. We will definitely be back!

Zaytouna was perfect. The steak and cheese was just the right proportions. the salad was creamy and the mango salad was definitely worth the price. I loved the goat cheese panini and the espresso had a delightfully roasted flavour. It was great and the staff were friendly. I would recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised with the gluten free choices. My meal was fantastic. I wish I had tried it before moving weekend.

As for the food there is a huge selection of paninis and the salads are absolutely delicious. Moroccan food is often a mix of sweet and salty flavours. Great culinary experience.

After weeks of craving a panini, I was delighted to walk in to Zaytouna today with a friend to immediately see a wide display of panini s on the chalkboard menu! I had the Milano and it was fantastic. Perfect ratios of toppings & sauce. I will definitely be back to try the coffee, cheesecake and salads!

Very delicious food! The menu has the perfect amount of choices, enough to keep you entertained but not too many that you feel overwhelmed. The taste is very yummy and very fresh! Inside the restaurant is very clean and beautiful and it gives such a comfortable and relaxed vibe. Recommend for everyone! Cant wait to go back and try even more delicious food!

I ordered the Palermo Panini and Apple Dejon salad to go, Try it you will not be disappointed! The restaurant was super clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The two ladies that served me were exceptional as well. Would love to try everything on their menu!

I was SO impressed with this place.. my brother suggested it for lunch, I didnt know what to expect and it blew me away. Bright spacious dining, clean bathroom, very helpful service, delicious food, great atmosphere. The only things that could be changed would be to slightly turn down the music, I found the people chatting were trying to talk over the music; And the food was a little too salty for me personally. But overall was thoroughly impressed... Ill be back!!
