Things I found on my pizza. Mould. I actually ate that and had to spit it out. Hair baked into the cheese. Feta that didnt smell too fresh had to take it all off. Maybe it wouldve been ok without all those things. For $45 for a medium pizza I expect better.

Stopped in while passing through town and had my tastebuds BLOWN. The Big Joe Mufferaw is so freaking good - who d have thought to put dill pickles on a pizza?? This would be worth a major detour. Looks like their other food is bomb too. And the owner is super friendly.

This is one of the greatest places to ever go to. I could not recommend the food enough. Everything Ive ordered from here has been out-of-this-world good. Vegetarian options: Wonderful vegan cheese Dietary restrictions: Very professional when it came to my severe dairy allergy. Staff were understanding and quick to ensure everything was safe for my consumption.

Been going here daily for a bit for lunch. Fantastic pizza, thin crust with a crunch! Toppings are generous and they have a 30 inch pizza! I will definitely begin trying this with some friends!

Wow. That is all. Im from Vancouver, where there are loads of pizza shops available, and I would rate this pizza place the highest. Extremely good. So is the poutine I havent tried anything else yet, but yet is the operative word in that sentence!

I had the Cup and Char Pepperoni Pizza, and I have to say I m confused how a plain pepperoni pizza can be so insanely good. Normally when I order from the chains I find pepperoni bland and boring, but the pizza from Joes was probably the best pepperoni pizza I m ever had.

Got my pizza to pull a slice and all the topping came off the slice. Nothing sticks to the pizza. Was Okay taste was fine when it it all stayed on my slice.

Joes Pizza was served at a party we attended on Saturday. The pizza was terrible...the crust was like cardboard and burnt. The pepperoni pizza had very little to no pepperoni on it and basically no cheese and tried the cheese pizza hoping it was better, nope the same cardboard overcooked crust and for just a cheese pizza there was no cheese!!! Would not recommend this place for Pizza. I was told they had ordered around 10 pizzas. Wow!!! What a waste. The owner of Joes should refund these people as nobody ate the pizza.

Sorry, I love Joes pizza kits and thought we would try their pizza for our group about 2 weeks ago. We ordered two pizzas and one was completely burnt. They said they would remake ONE pizza. We had already waited 30 mins and our group wad hungry. One pizza would be cold and one remade waiting another 30 mins? Confused we asked if there was something else they could do and instead offered $5 off our next order of pizza and only offered because we asked. (Maybe comp one pizza or throw in a box of wings or something to make it right.) So my guests ate burnt pizza and $5 off another order? I wouldnt reorder burnt pizza. Sad about this as we are new to the area and thought we could find our new place for pizza. Wont be here.

Our order was wrong, we ordered a deep dish and received a a hard thin crust. Pizzas were both burned and were stale. Plus pizzas were over priced beyond disappointing

We enjoyed our very first pizza tonight from Joe s Pizzaria in Pembroke, ON. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pie. The crust was excellent and overall taste of the pie was delicious. We would return to Joe s.again. Staff was friendly.

Don t get the Spiral Fries . Had fish and chips on good friday. The fish was good. The spiral fries shouldn t exist, think potato spaghetti just a big ball of thin potatoes strings that all get stuck together, just big clumps of strings you take bites of one awful clump of disappointment.

Home to the best poutine I have ever had the opportunity to enjoy, not to mention the amazing service and atmosphere. The scratch ticket system is absolutely amazing, and has gifted my partner and I a nice free lunch. A very kind worker, who unfortunately I am now forgetting the name of, spoke to us for about 20-30 minutes after closing time, engaging with us and letting us know about the restaurant, and I couldn t have been more appreciative for the genuine human interaction. We had a great talk and it made us feel very comfortable at your place, every time is a great experience. My favourite restaurant!

Ordered a pick up order (@445pm) on valley eats for a bit later (535-550pm). At 5pm I got a notification my order was ready but of course I wasn t. They did not remake my food and all of it was in horrible condition (poutine especially did not hold up) by the time I picked it up. Buyer beware.

Thought we would try it. Pizza is thin and chewy, not our style. The wings we ordered were overcooked and extremely dry, almost inedible. And the staff need to realize that with the back door to the kitchen open the comment can be heard by the customer as they walk to their car. Seeing the picture in another comment, our pizza looked nothing like that. Ours was more like what comes out of a box. We gave it a try.

I highly recommend the gluten free pizza here, as I have celiac I have not had an issue once with this pizza, 3rd one I ve had and it s been excellent every time. There are some other options in the valley for gluten free pizzas, but the quality and size doesn t compare to the other places. Good for the keto diet as well!

Joes is an amazing family owned pizzeria. They are friendly, great prices, and there food tastes amazing. There customer service is amazing, always friendly and welcoming. We love popping in, and grabbing a slice, or making our own custom poutine! Joes has something for everyone, including the kids. Our kids love Joes. Definitely recommend for the whole family. This place is not only comforting and friendly but the food here is absolutely fantastic and very affordable, we visit any chance we get when were in Pembroke, I highly recommend stopping by if you ever want a damn good slice of pizza!

Was slightly dissapointed with this pizza due to the high reviews. Very chewy and rather difficult to even eat, not at all what i was expecting based on the previous reviews tried 2 different pizzas(big joe mufferaw, pep bac and nushroom) and neither was very good in my opinion. The pizza tails were the same and had to use a knife just to try them due to how hard they were. Based on the previous reviews i actually assume my experience was 1 off. I have left 3 stars giving them the benifit of the doubt and hopefully it was just a bad day. Probally will try again and hopefully it will be a better experience.

For sure not the best experience! Asked for green olives on pizza. Shows up on order but not pizza! Delivery to a hotel but not 1 napkin included. I left a review on Facebook a little while ago about how these are the best Calzons that Ive had across Canada. Then this weekend I ordered another one; this time I added bacon. I swear it thick cut bacon they put in the Calzone, and they definately loaded it full. Highly recommend pair with the house-made marinara for dipping goodness!

Very disappointed on my order last night I ordered a combo pizza and got only cheese pizza I had a Groupon coupon to put on my purchase and she didnt took it off my order so I lost 15 $ because she marked it as redeem and didnt get it .I called right away and they told me I will have a in store credit so that why I left a 3 star rating (usally their service is excellent) I was just not in luck yesterday

Pizza was bland tasting and the crust was glass thin (same consistency too). Poutine arrived cold and appeared to be dribbled with gravy. I understand having to wait because of COVID 19 protocols (which is what I was rudely told on the phone) but two hours is embarrassing. Anyone who gives this place a five star rating mustn t have taste buds or enjoy a good pizza. Save the $35 you re going to waste here and spend it at another mom and pop pizzeria. It s also quite funny to see the owner or one of the workers offer credits and bribes to change their opinions. People need to stop making this place best pizza in Pembroke because it is false advertising.

I order a big joe dill pickle pizza a couple weeks ago after not ordering for quite some time. It was delicious..then today, I ordered it again...the pizza was thrown on thin crust and was rock hard. Im now having to make my kids a second supper. The person who answered the phone argued it was the exact same as last time. I love the dill pickle pizza when made correctly sadly I will no longer order from here again

Based on a recommendation by the hotel staff, they delivered a small Deluxe pizza to my hotel room. It was full of toppings and cheese, the way a pizza should be. The regular crust was the right thickness as well. It was enough for my wife and I, and delicious. Forget the chain pizzas, this is the real deal.

Purchased a Groupon for while I was visiting a friend. The pizza is pretty good, especially if you like a thinner crust with a decent amount of toppings.

Went in around 630 tonight. Ordered pizza bites and an order of pierogies. When it was ready at approx. 7:05 the pizza bites were nice and hot but the pierogies were cold. It was almost as if the cooked them right away and then let them sit for the half hour while we waited for the pizza bites. Not only were they cold but they were sitting in a pile of grease. I was very disappointed. Unfortunately when the food was finally ready we headed right over to the waterfront to enjoy so I didnt realize how cold and swimming in grease they were until we got there or else I would have brought it to their attention. *** edited to add In hindsight I believe that I should have contacted the Pizzeria and stated my complaints before adding a rather negative review. I will say that my other experiences here have definitely been better. The owner contacted me and offered to make it right. The customer service brought my review from a 1 star to a 3. I am hoping that my experience was just the result of a super busy night. I will give this place another try.

honestly we had heard great words about Joe s Pizza and we were super excited to try it! when we got into the restaurant, the restaurant was not very clean, napkins all over the floor and used forks on the bench, table definitely wasn t wiped down between guests. we were going to sit at the table but it was super dirty! the workers were also yelling at each other when we were standing there and we weren t super impressed.

Wasnt pleased with my ordered for $75 which hardly fed a family of 3! 4 appetizers each the size of a small fry box and not even to the top more like half filled and 10 wings deep fried to almost leather!! Not happy nor is my family!! I gave you a rating on quality and quantity of serving size and price. Most sit down restaurants charge between 8$ to 14$ dollars per app and for better quality and quantity than we were served.

Waited almost an hour for our pizza. When we got it it was sloppily made and tasted horrible. They charge $5 per extra topping and only put a few pathetic pieces of broccoli . To top it off the guy making the pizza was rude to his coworkers.

Meh. Going to Joes on a Friday was a horrible experience. Was my first time there and I m vegan, not much on the menu so I built my own pizza. The main guy working there was very annoyed to be answering his co workers questions (which were my questions) and it was a real hassle to get a straight answer. Extra toppings are WAY too expensive ($4.99 each). We waited over an hour to get our pizza and when we finally got it, we were super disappointed. The $5 toppings were not even spread over the whole pizza. It was super sloppy. Taste was average. Won t be back. Also, the main guy treated his co workers so poorly I was embarrassed. I ordered a combo pizza(pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper) with thick garlic crust(extra 2,99$) but Look at the pizza!! First of all, the crust is burned and freaking hard. Second,I order thick and it is a thin one. Third, the garlic taste was almost none existence. Fourth, look at the picture the green pepper is almost none existent!!! And for the poutine now...it tasted frozen fries not well cooked... and again cheap on ingredient, there were only little cheese. Let me tell you something, I m not a difficult customer but it is one of the worst I have eaten. If you start to be cheap with your customer this is when you will loose them.

The Pizza, the staff and the place. All of this together make an incredible small town pizza place. I highly recommend from takeout Pizza with the family or a quick pizza slice for lunch.It has everything needed to satisfy your pizza carving.

Hi we were staying at the Comfort Inn on November 19, 2020 and ordered a pizza, chicken wings & a greek salad. I cant say how the wings or salad were as I didnt have any. However the pizza was one of the best we have ever had. Sure wish we had a Joes Pizza in Lethbridge Alberta. We had a Pizza again in kapuskasing the following night and were really disappointed because after eating Joes the night befòre this one didnt even compare. You cant go wrong ordering a pizza from Joes. Would give it a 10 out of 10 for sure

I am always blown away by the amazing customer service here. Joe s team are delightful and friendly, and we always enjoy the food. Our favourite is the dirty poutine. I tried a sample of the cookie dough and now I know what the hype is all about, yum! I m not sure what the name was of the gentleman who served me on Tuesday night but thank you for the friendly service!

A local pizza place that focuses on supporting and improving the community. Its not often that I leave without a free sample of a new product theyre testing out. I love their meat lovers slices.

My fiance and I have been eating at Joes since we first started dating in 2014. We would walk down from our highschool and get lunch daily. Their food is amazing, and so are their prices. My favorite is their poutine with curds (dirty). We recently moved to pembroke, and Natasha remembered us right away! They are very interactive with their customers not just in the store but on their social media platforms as well. They are also super supportive of local businesses and began contests trading Cinema cards for pizza vouchers with the Troyes Cinema in petawawa (which I work at). You can tell they only want the best for their city, and people, and the service, and food is their way of showing it. Thank you for our (nearly 7) and your 10 years of Joes Family Pizzeria!!!
