My wife, a friend and I went to see what the meals and service would be like in advance of a possible larger group dinner. Sadly it was very disappointing so much so that will never return. The sole employee was acting as chef, server and bartender. We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Thursday at 6:15 pm which was not a good sign. Tables were dirty and had not been cleaned. It took a half an hour to get our drinks, an hour for the appetizer to arrive another twenty minutes for the meal and in total, two and a half hours to complete our meal. And we were the only customers there! The food was only ok, nothing special, way overpriced. The employee did her best under the circumstances however mistakes were made. Other patrons who came in close to our departure were left waiting as the employee was back in the kitchen so they left. Clarion boasts about a new menu but without the staff, the high prices and lack of cleanliness Bistro 900 was a huge disappointment. We blame Clarion not the employee for the poor experience, sadly we do not recommend for a dinner and will not return for any meal.
This is the second time I have tried to have lunch on a Friday. It was closed even though the web site said it was open. I asked the front desk about this and got some lame excuse. I have had it with this hotel. I have never seen a business so poorly run. Great building, lots to offer but no management to bring it all together. To bad. A missed opportunity.
We were at Bistro 900 this evening and what a disappointment. My son's chicken strips were dry and burned. They said it was the coating and when they brought back more they were the same. He said he lost his appetite and didn't eat. Mine and my Mom's steak were dry and tasteless. Deep fried fries in what was obviously old oil. Very small portions and left hungry although we certainly cannot eat any more as we feel ill from the grease. No offers to adjust the bill and the place wasn't even worth arguing that point. We just won't ever return and certainly won't recommend. I will need to apologize to my recent clients who went there on my recommendation. I was clearly recalling the old days where the food and menu choices were good. Zero stars here. I have never before written a review on a restaurant but I cannot let people be as disappointed as we were with this experience.
Completely forgot one of our guests meals. Asked for a medium steak and said "it's on it's way.". 5 minutes later brought a non cooked rare steak. Never checked on us, and honestly a terrible experience. The food we did get was terrible, another patron asked for a medium rare steak and was given a black charred brick of meat. Trust me and go somewhere else if you are staying at the hotel.
Bistro 900 has always pleased me in the past. We could take guests there for a meal and count on great food and service, but I was very disappointed on mother’s day. We made reservations for brunch at 10am. for 5 adults and 2 children, the restaurant had many empty tables, there were two waitresses covering the dining room and it took an hour and fifteen minuites for us to receive our meal. There was definitely some issues in the kitchen. We won’t be going there for Father’s Day.
It was good and wait staff are nice. Some items are fresh and some are frozen. If you ask they'll tell you. Some drinks are made from scratch and some from a mix. They were out of lettuce my first day and I wanted a salad. Overall it was good but pretty typical of a hotel bistro.
me and my family ordered food; I had the butter curry chicken. we also ordered the artichoke dip and fish and chips. The food was obviously frozen, the fish and chips was a fish stick out if a box, it was horrible. The butter curry chicken looked like it was microwaved and had a tasteless watery sauce. It came with cardboard bread and crusty rice. I had a couple if bites, 2 hours later I fell very sick. I had food poisoning, it was very painful. I was sick for 2 days, i would not recommend eating here. We also witnessed the bar tender shake a martini with her hand as a lid for the shaker.
We went there for lunch with friends and the five of us had a wonderful lunch. I chose a honey ham and fried eggs sandwich from the breakfast menu and it was delicious! I love breakfast food any time of the day, so i was happy! We all had a different meal and it was perfect. Friendly service, cozy place! The only thing i would recommend is a bit of music in the background.

Love the bistro burger
Service was slow. Food was over cooked, greasy, and inconsistent and it was not busy with only six people in the restaurant. Gravy one guest ordered was like water and another got something that resembled chocolate pudding. Certainly disappointed and would not recommend eating here as it not worth the upset stomach afterwards. Very dissatisfied!

Lovely staff, good service, TERRIBLE food. Salmon was okay but chicken was bland and clearly from frozen. Just read another posters review of the butter chicken, wish we read it before! Will update if my husband gets sick! Also, terribly overpriced.
Good service, but unfortunately spoiled by terrible food quality!! I had the chicken carbonara pasta. The chicken was clearly frozen and undercooked, I obviously didnt dare to taste it. The pasta was bathed in a very liquid and flavorless sauce . I ate some pasta, returned my dish and passed the comment on to the appropriate person. Not to mention the prices... $$$
Excellent dining experience
Staff are super nice. I ordered the 9oz new York steak. It was a 1/4 thick, next to impossible to make that medium rare. If I pat $28 for a steak I want a piece of meat not a minute steak. Very dissatisfied I will not be returning.
