When the Waiter brought My salad, I told him I did not want the jalapeno pever, but when it came it was in my dish so he took his it out with his fingers.

Had dinner with the family here the other night. Service was great. Taylor our waitress and her trainee were perfect with making sure we were happy. Food was awesome. I had the veal sammy. So good. The bruschetta bread was amazing. Favourite appy. Definitely going back

We enjoyed a veal parmigiana dinner here while on a trip. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food was very good. We sat inside where there were windows with a view out to a lovely patio area (which was a pleasant surprise).

Service was good as usual, but I cant believe how small the portions are. Remember when you took leftovers home? Not anymore. The shrimp fettuccine was child size and had 5 average size (not jumbo) shrimp, like your cheap aunt would serve on New Years Eve. The capelletti was also a child size portion and had almost no sauce or cheese. Still around $25 each though. They could make it half that price and still make money (its pasta, guys). Even the salad is so small they no longer give you tongs to serve it. Extremely disappointed - we wont ever eat at East Side Marios again

Absolutely the worst dining experience we have had. Hello Kitchen chicken inedible...tough.. thin..horrible bitter taste. Alfredo was pasty unflavourful white sauce, JUMBO shrimp were the size of a quarter...all 4 of them. Salads were full of shimmy greens...again inedible... gin and tonic was flat..lime was dried out and brown... manager didnt offer replacements...only excuses... server gave false information. Left hungry and frustrated to never ever return.

I visited this place July 2nd for my son s birthday and we all ordered a dish, there were 4 of us. It wasn t really busy this night either. The server was sweet and tipped our drinks and checked on is. Pleased with the server however I ordered. the spaghetti and meatballs and it was awful. No flavour, watery, the meatballs tasted awful with no flavour. I took a couple bites and couldn t continue. My husband tried it as well and said it was pretty awful. They took it off my bill which was good. Disappointed and probably will not order that again.

Bro its the BEST restaurant. 1: the food is SO GOOD!! 2:the waiter was SO kind I think his name is Benjamin,kindest man on earth 3:as a formula 1 fan, the mans bathroom was FORMULA 1 THEMED!!! 10/10 Come here now. Now!!

Edit July 2024: the quality of service and food has gone down over the past year. Even when the restaurant is not busy, the service isnt any better. Recently I had a server tell me I could not get the $2 tuesday deal for children because I did not order my regular price entree at the same time as the kids meal. I ordered the kids meal with my appetizer so my child could eat sooner than the rest of the table and tried to order my entree ten minutes later and was told the kids eat for $2 deal would not be applied because the orders did not get put in together. I dont know what kind of sorcery that is, but it seemed very unreasonable. We had a large check for only 3 people at the table (had already ordered 3 appetizers, an entree, and a kids meal). We will travel to Kanata for East Side from now on. Other inconveniences included the server refusing to add extra arugula to my flatbread even though I said I was fine with an upcharge. THE BATHROOMS ARE ALSO EXTREMELY DIRTY AND TWICE I HAVE FOUND THEM COMPLETELY OUT OF SOAP. FOR A RESTAURANT THIS IS A HUGE RED FLAG. CHECK OUT THE FINGERPRINTS ON THE RESTROOM DOOR ALONE Previously I rated this restauarant 5 stars because it became our familys go-to: Pretty fast and very friendly. Food is middle of the road as is expected but it comes out hot and they are dutiful about refills. Servers and restaurant very kid friendly which is why it gets a fifth star.

The food was burnt then had to wait for a new meal, everyone I was with was finished their meal. The Bread loaves are smaller, the salad bowls are smaller and the portions are alot smaller and yet more expensive. The quality is not there anymore...maybe new ownership not sure, definately something. I will not be going back.

I have to start off by saying our server was amazing. She was very friendly and on the ball with drinks etc. I am giving the food a 2 because I am quite confident they do not cook the food fresh. The chicken for both my husbands and my meals were rubbery and definitely not actually grilled. We are new to town and love East Sides but this was definitely not the quality we are used to.

Our food was hot, delicious and pleasingly presented by our excellent server, prepared by young cook Danica in the kitchen. I forget our servers name, I should have done this review immediately. She worked at this location 10 years, I believe and served us Fri, May 5 at about 9:30pm. We were a party if 5 in the center booths near the entrance door. She was attentive, and charming and when asked how to review our yummy food, promptly gave me the Show Us Amore card with QR code and Danicas name written on the back. The only thing that made it not 5 star for atmosphere was the annoying, but necessary doorbell sound, because it was quiet in the restaurant-so it seemed loud. I would have liked more water to be offered to our table as well. We dined pretty late, so perhaps she had other tasks to do with closing up. Very tiny issues for otherwise great service and delicious meals. Thank you very much!

Me and my boyfriend went a few nights ago and yes we do have a big of an age gap and I was nearly made fun if fir ordering a chocolate milk. But when my boyfriend and I got there it was fine until we had alot of eyes on us and multiple servers one came and asked if I was ok and of course I was Im with my boyfriend the one person I trust but this establishment deserves have people that just assume things but otherwise I was very disappointed because me and my boyfriend were very uncomfortable with thinking I was in danger I used to love this place as a kid and now I just feel uncomfortable

I had a good meal here this evening during our team event. My chicken wings were good and my son enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs. Staff was friendly but service for our large party was slower than I would have expected.

Decent Italian fast food franchise. I love the all-you-can-eat Italian weeding soup and garlic always-warm bread. Children had good time with the pizza...

Watered down soup and the garden salad tasted like water. No bread given at table but in other east sides they bring bread.

1. Portions keep getting much smaller, the plate of pasta is the size of what used to be the kids size portion. Did not fill me up. 2. The server kept hitting on my dad, whose wife was right next to him.

By far the slowest east side Marios yet slowest restaurant Ive ever seen. Ordered online. Showed up 20 min late and still waited another 20 min for my food. You guys boiling my noodles over a pot of water heated by a Bic lighter or? Someone setup a gofund me so they can buy a kettle.

We sat for 30 minutes absolutely no service, not drinks or even a hello just sat by nice girls and then forgotten will not be returning, no stars

It was a fabulous date night for my husband and me. The waitress was attentive but not hovering. The food was amassed and the atmosphere was fun. Dietary restrictions: The one here is a peanut-free restaurant. This is great news since I have a severe nut allergy.

First time at this location. Ashley was very friendly, super attentive, and food was timely and delicious. As good as Ottawa s locations. Highly recommend A+. Will be back.

Ordered 2 pasta dishes, 1 of them was incorrect but we gave it a try anyways, it was bland and there were so many mushrooms and so little chicken. Also highlighted that we wanted 4 pieces of bread but only got 2, the meatballs were alright tho, that was the only good part.

The food was AMAZING and our waitress, Nicole was a whirlwind of charisma, positive attitude and the most amazing customer service we have experienced in quite a long time. The restaurant was busy and all the staff worked together to ensure we were all taking care of. We will most definitely be back next time were in town.

I went there 3 weeks ago and it was such a great atmosphere to enjoy an amazing date with my husband. The food was fantastic and our waiter, William had such a positive attitude and one of the most amazing waiter we have experienced in a long time. I definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

We were in there 2 weeks ago for supper. William was our server. He was amazing. He was friendly and considerate. Very knowledgeable at what he does. One concern was our meal was a little cold on arriving to our table. It did take a while as well for the food to come but William came over and assured us it wouldn t be long and he constantly checked in on us to make our dinner an excellent experience. Awesome waiter.

Went there for dinner with a friend. We ordered a $23 pasta to share and had the all you can eat salad. The waiter brought the salad 15 minutes after the pasta and then made me reassure them that yes I wanted a second salad after we finished the first. (Meanwhile the salad portion was about 2 handfuls.) We had also asked for a second bread loaf but never received it .The server then brought the bill over without us asking. We got kicked out after only 2 salads! So much for all you can eat lol. Reading the reviews I see this is quite common at this location. AVOID! spend your money somewhere where the staff care.

I arrived at the bar. Ordered a Mill Street. Received a Richards Red . Ordered a calzone. An hour later it still had not arrived. Asked for more salad. Never came. Calzone put on rush . 20 minutes later still no food. Walked out. Disgusting service

Im giving this place a 2 star. Ive tried multiple times to give this store a chance at making my food. And every single time, theres at LEAST one thing wrong. I ordered my normal order with extra Alfredo sauce and wedges. I got 6 wedges in my box... When I called, the average is 6-8 wedges per box. For $4.39 I should at least get one whole potato and they didnt bother giving me my Alfredo sauce either. I got a $5 credit to use WITHIN 90 days .... I will not be ordering again. The price for the portion size is ridiculous. Even more so with takeout/delivery. The servers have been nice every single time Ive gone to sit inside the restaurant... But it just isnt worth the price!!

Waitress was very slow moving and never came around. The restaurant was pretty busy but the kitchen staff stood on their heads! The guy wearing blue making pasta was keeping up and still making great food, the guy making pizza (after he was done in kitchen) was making great looking zaa while pumping them out in a awesome time frame! Staff was doing great with the mad 4:00 rush. Would have given a 5 star but our waitress dropped it down as she was the only one not rushing around to keep up.. had the manager give us our soup and salad after ours meals arrived. Received our drinks almost half an hour later and didn t get refills until we were ready to pay our bills.

I did not receive salad dressing for my garden salad.

Food is great WHEN and IF you actually get it. Twice now where weve been disappointed. Waited 2hours dine-in with a 15month old and had to eat at home as it was now bed time. 140$ in the garbage needless to say as it doesnt beat fresh. Today tried ordering through their website for delivery and it didnt come even though email confirmation said 7:20pm delivery time. Now to wait 7-10 business days for an 80$ refund. Not impressed and wont recommend.

It was our first time ever going there. Pretty good food. Burnt my hand on the pan that my lasagna came in, then I burnt my tongue on the actual lasagna as it was so hot. Warm bread with whipped butter was incredible. Nice Ceasar salad with real grated parmesan. Husband had the 4 cheese and spinach dip pizza. We shared the salad. The Blue raspberry iced tea lemonade was incredible. Nice clean and inviting environment. Will definitely be going again.

It was dead there was only 3 tables with 2 people in each. It took too long for someone to seat us. We were about to leave then spotted a worker and had to ask if we could sit down. Then it took a long for our Waitress to come and take our order. Then we started to look again for our soup, or salad, or bread. When our order came I was never asked if I wanted cheese on my soup. Food was dropped off and the Waitress left and wasnt seen again until our soup was gone, we had to ask another server for more bread. I will not go back to Pembroke East Side Mario.

Im so impressed with these guys. We booked a reservation for the night of the Santa Claus parade. They got us in, seated, fed, and out of there in an hour. They were on their game. Way to go! Will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: You name it they accommodated for the 4 kids in our party. High chairs, boosters, kid menus. It was great!

Like most chain restaurants you go in and get what you expect. Decent food at decent(ish) price. I rarely will rate a chain or franchise above a 3 because honestly its what you get from a chain restaurant; acceptable fare. However this particular location has a lovely patio overlooking the river, the greenery and scenery enhances the otherwise generic menu to a pleasant enjoyable meal

Last time I ate here was a nightmare! My family watched my plate of nachos I ordered sit under a heat lamp for 20 minutes before they were even served to me. There was very little topping on it which made me quite upset, the expensive drink I ordered (alcohol) was extremely bad, and my spouses meal was also terrible along with the service. This experience was so bad that my partner ended up paying for the meal (I was originally taking my family out for dinner) and when the waitress asked how everything was my spouse said don t bother asking we won t be ever coming back and haven t since. Lastly, recently when driving by to go to the drive through at the neighbouring Tim Hortons my spouse witnessed a rat outside their building which absolutely disgusted me and made me great full I haven t ate there since my last bad incident.

Update on our review. Service was amazing Will was our waiter. He was amazing, friendly looked after us throughout our stay. Food was great, big portions, piping hot. We all were stuffed, wish we had room for the peanutbutter stack desert. This is how the food and service has been since I first started dating my now wife. This is our regular spot to go have a nice meal. Will be back again for sure. Our server deserves so much praise he will be a big asset to your establishment. He is on top of his game when it comes to customer service and he deserves recognition for it. July 20th 2022, Was here with my family and the inlaws we had a great experience here tonight. I ordered one dish of seafood pasta to my house, I understand delivery and everything must be calculated, however I paid $36 total for one pasta that was bland, and had cold toppings. The shrimp, mussels and scallops had a texture as if they were microwaved out of the freezer and tossed on top of noodles with very little sauce. No herbs or spices, had to add my own. I should have taken a photo before I went and put my own ingredients on it. I dont expect my mamas cooking at a chain, but I also dont expect this.

Waited almost 1.5 hrs for food. My food chicken was burned, burgers was cold. Pembroke Ease Side Marios is the worse. Server didnt even come check on us. They were only 3 table in use.

Waited so long and it wasn t even busy and my appetizer was frozen. This is my second time at this location and I m not ever coming back.

Their street sign said If youre feeling upsetti come and have some spaghetti. I was, so I did. I felt better after a delicious plate of spaghetti. Well done to the person who thought of the slogan:)

There wasn t an option for zero stars so I had to put one. We made a reservation for 6:30 and didn t get our food until 8. The service was terrible as our server had no personal skills. When he told us he would bring more bread or drinks they didn t come for at least 30 min. On top of this, the portion sizes were smaller than usual. There was no acknowledgement of mistakes or delays and all tables around us also appeared to be neglected. We overheard another table next to us saying they will not be returning to East Side Mario s again and neither will we

I love this restaurant. Such a shame it no longer exists in my area.

Huge delays in service, lack of knowledge and inconsistencies with smart serve policies. After 3 3 Oz glasses of white wine my guest was cut off! During a meal, over a time of 3.5 hours. However 2 other guests at the same table were allowed to share a bottle of wine and a pitcher of sangria! Ridiculous lack of professionalism and policies. My main came before my soup, my soup then arrived cold. Never going back! Do NOT go here for anything dine in. Support your smaller venues- these franchises lose touch with their staff and dont care about your experience.
