I like this place, food is reliable, service is friendly and reliable. Ive always enjoyed this place

First time I order there, its the worst pizza I ever had. And it will be the last time.

I have not in all my travels and years matched the Mallory town pub restaurant when we crushed there in 80s finnigans has exceed it thanks to all the staff excellent service food and atmosphere as Arnold said Ill be back , thanks again

I love Finnigans and I love Legends for greats shows.

So first if all food was amazing and the person served us was very polite and friendly Secondly the music was not very loud which was awesome too many places they blare the music Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible dining area, bar and bathrooms. Downstairs is not accessible to my knowledge.

It takes forever to get served. I waited over 30 minutes from when I ordered to get served. When I was served the potatoes and pea meal bacon, I could barely eat it as it was grossly overcooked.This is typically the norm now. I wont be coming back and certainly wouldnt recommend this place

The food was gross I ordered nachos they were cold and half the ingredients were only one side and a big blob of salsa was in the middle made the chips all soggy I was not impressed with my order at all. I will never go back and for the price of the food should have been better then what it was.

This is our regular spot to go for a bite to eat and cool beverage. Always friendly service, great atmosphere. We go on the bar side. Waitresses are great, food is awesome and priced well. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the front of the restaurant. Lots of room in restaurant for wheel chair.

Good wasnt had - greasy eggs but it wasnt the food it was how long it took to get our food

Staff were friendly, service was quick. Too salad is almost perfect (would like it warmer). Salisbury steak tastes just like their hot hamburg but with lots of onions.

What a menu! Normally Im wary of a huge menu, but Finnigans seems to have conquered it all! From Sheppard Pie to Pizza...all delicious. As a bonus, great service!

The only issue I seen was the place lacked in cleaning. Lights had dust webs, counter at bar was gross. If cleanliness is an issue, Im concerned about the kitchen.

On a very busy evening, Finnigans took a group of hungry travelers. The menu had something for everyone and the food was fantastic.

The family booked dinner for 7. The atmosphere was pleasant. The waitress was pleasant and the service was excellent. Food was delicious and well priced. I will be back. Parking: Ample parking is available in both the front and rear of the restaurant.

Our server (Whitney) was friendly and attentive. The prices were quite reasonable also. However, the food was disappointing overall. Beef dip was nothing more than mediocre shaved beef on an ordinary bun - no veggies or cheese or even mustard. The crispy chicken wrap was nothing more than a breaded cutlet and Romaine lettuce with ranch dressing - no cheese, bacon, onion, etc. Wings were ok, mushroom caps were just frozen and deep-fried with a ranch dip. No garnish or anything to enhance the dish. The best meal was the liver, but the onions were not fully cooked and the veggies were frozen. Ive been here twice now and have been disappointed both times. Jenna and Kerrys is 1000x better just a few dollars more.

One star because the waitress we had was incredibly rude. We were there Saturday, June 1st. Ive never had such bad service in my life. If youre having a bad day, you dont bring it to work. The place wasnt as dead as can be as well.

Great service, great prices, great food! My fiance and 9 Month old ate here for dinner while staying at the Hotel next door. Wish this place was in our hometown! Supper delicious. P.S. they make a killer Cesar as well!

Didnt seem like much from the outside or online, but the food was really, really tasty! I was expecting greasy, but it wasnt at all. The taco salad was one of the best Ive ever had! A REAL salad, not just iceberg lettuce! Delish!

Was a quaint spot to visit. On the hole the staff are super, but it only takes one to make a visit uncomfortable. You know who you are. You ruined an otherwise nice day. We were a couple who came in the bar side for lunch. Chose a table that wasnt clean because the others were very close to occupied tables, and when we asked to have it cleaned you snapped and said the other four were clean. So we chose to sit on the restaurant side, well didnt you come over there and give us a dirty look while talking to the waitress. So we left. Im all for giving the benefit of the doubt and everyone deserves a bad day, but you went out of you way to make us uncomfortable. Which is a shame. Finnigans has other staff whom are really great, like the brunette on the bar side, always chipper and accommodating. This blonde, tattooed bar side gal wrecked it. Hopefully shes having a better day.

I ordered salmon and was disappointed. It was very salty and dry I can make a better one myself and that cost me $33. I m sure there are other items on menu that s highly rated, but sorry I have to comment on what I ate here.

Friendly and great service. They have a good variety of dishes to suit everyone, and good prices. The portions are generous and delicious.

The sour dough pizza here is fantastic!!! All day breakfast is a win as well!! Come to think of it, all the food is very good but the sour dough pizza here is my runner up for best pizza in the valley! I m all about the crust, anyone can load a pizza with cheese and meat and say it s the best but you gotta have the crust to get my vote!!

Food was not as expected. It was okay but I had random beans in my beef dip sandwich. My mother loved her chicken and rice dish.

Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service. Great selection of menu items and large portions. Unfortunately, there are no options for gluten free or dairy free items, so if you have a food allergy or intolerance, there is not many options. I asked the waitress if the fries contained gluten and she didnt know. Luckily, I didnt order them as they were coated in batter containing gluten. One persons food came out slightly burnt but everyone else was happy with their meals.

It was great food. The serveur worked off her feet but did the best she could with the number of people. Reservation was mixed up due to requests for wheelchair access that was moved to an area with a step. Was very inconvenient for the individual requiring accommodations for mobility access.

First time at restaurant, both my husband and I enjoyed our meal. I had fish and chips, he had the steak melt. Fast friendly and experienced service, will eat there again next time we are in Pembroke.

Came in as a large group, quick service and very outgoing waitress. Food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. As for the food its self, price was completely fair given the current state of our economy (inflation). The burger I had, was hand made not frozen which is just unbeatable but came unseasoned, its my preference and maybe thats their intention but I love burgers that come seasoned or have some kind of signature flavor. Portions are perfect, not too much where theres waste and not too little where youre left hungry.

All you can eat spaghetti was fantastic, as well as the Caesars!

A small group of us went for dinner last night. When we pulled in the place was packed as usual. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed, quickly seated and enjoying our first round of drinks. The food was amazing!! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken cordon Bleu! My other half and a friend both had steaks which were cooked to absolute perfection!! Another friend had the biggest plate of Nachos topped with chicken and perfectly smothered in cheese!! My other friend had the smoked meat on rye and was blown away at just how tasty it was. Our server was pleasant and kept us chuckling with her banter and jokes. Everything about our experience shows exactly why the place is always so busy. Great service, tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere! I would definitely recommend this place!

We been there a few times this year but today the service was the worst. We order a breakfast meals that should have taken only a few minutes to have made( resturant was only 1/4 full) after waiting 40 minutes and our waitresses going back 4 or 5 times we recieved our food. But watch other tables who came in after us order and receive food within minutes.

Ordered a garden salad for lunch today. All that came was a handful of lettuce. Looked like someone just reached in a bag of lettuce and pulled out a handful. Was supposed to come with tomatoes, cucumber etc. no sign of the vegetables. Sent it back and ordered a western sandwich, Which came okay.

Lyle and staff know what they are doing! Great food, generous portions and professional, pleasant wait staff. Prices are very good.

Easter Sunday Brunch. 3 of the for people had turkey dinner. 1 had a breakfast. The gravy was the only item on the plate that was warm, old other food was cold as it would not melt the butter at all. Vegetables were soggy, and no dinner rolls as menu stated. Service????????? Atmosphere????

Have eaten there before. This experience was disappointing. Restaurant was very dirty. Waitress brought food. Never returned. Never checked on our meal. If we needed anything further or another drink. When finished went to the desk for our bill paid. Left. Will never return

The breakfast was very good and a good price. We stood at the front for a while and no one greeted us, but one server was busy answering phones and taking care of her customers while the other woman wiped a table. The busy one ended up sitting us at a table where we were served by the other server. She was nice enough but disappeared after a while and we had to get up and have the first server get our bill as wed been waiting a while. I also saw a gentleman politely wait for a coffee refill and he eventually got up and grabbed his own from the coffee station. Overall it was a decent meal and the servers were nice, but efficiency could be better.

You want a good down home breakfast, this is the place to be

We went on a Sunday for supper. We had the chicken nachos, bruschetta, and a hotdogs with bacon. It was a pretty horrible meal We will give them one more shot. And then just not return. Wait staff was pleasant but uninterested in the quality of the food

Have been to Finnegans several times and mostly satisfied with the experience. Had the usual as did my friends. Sign of the times, we were each charged an extra loonie for the gravy! Will we return, most likely! Parking: The parking at the back of the restaurant is being paved making the patio a more pleasant experience.

The first time we tried Finnigans it was good. It looked outdated but clean and the food was good and so was the service. Weve gone back a few times now and the food has gone down hill. I ordered peameal and eggs a pretty simple meal to prepare right? My eggs and my peameal were covered in black burnt bits from the grill. My toast was burnt again as well. My wifes order was over cooked and the the hollandaise was a green colour. She only had a couple of bites and left it. The dust on the dividers was thick, the food that had been dropped under the table looked like it had been there for at least a week. Its not to hard to clean a grill, dust, sweep and mop. It seems that the owner doesnt care about the food being served or the cleanliness of his business anymore. We wont be back.

The meals we all ordered were amazing! Pleasant servers, clean environment and though rather busy, we were quickly taken care of.

So I just went there tonight. This one waitress she s so dumb . She forgot the forks and knifes . I told her JUST ketchup,cheese and bacon. I get Pickles too.. and we had to steal forks from the other table. We gave her no tip she sucks so ya . And also she took our drinks we wanted we ordered them then she went and did something else. We waited Atleast 10 mins for drinks ..

My husband and I had breakfast and dinner here during a visit to Pembroke. The breakfast was good as was the dinner. My husband ordered a pizza which was piled with toppings and ample cheese. I ordered the turkey dinner, again ample food. All in all it was quite enjoyable, staff were pleasant enough and prices were average.

Would not take responsibility for horrible service.

We thoroughly enjoy the meals that we eat at Finnigans. The service is good, the food is very good, the location is simple to find and access and the prices are what one would expect. As of 2023-07-04, we are unhappy with making the bathrooms unisex. My wife found that the toilet was messy and the seat was up and felt uncomfortable because of it.

Was just in to try and have breakfast and was extremely surprised to find them so understaffed we overheard the waitress tell another table that it was too bad that their order came out wrong !! ( the on lady ordered pancakes and got French toast ) the waitress left the meal so we stood up to leave she came back to us to take our order and we said no it s fine we are leaving because she was so rude to the table and started to argue with us !! She needs to learn step away for a few Moments then come back I have waitressesd for years and have never spoken to a customer with that tone or excuse that the kitchen messed up that bad she was throwing hands up in the air and telling the customer too bad this is what you are getting is not acceptable. Im pretty sure I was the first Middle Eastern man to ever visit this restaurant and city. I was quite disappointed by the looks I got throughout town, and even had a worker accuse me of stealing at the local Walmart... However my worries and stress were relieved by coming to this place. Food was great, service was great, everything was so great that it made me forget about racism the whole time I was there.

First time there during our trip to Pembroke and, unfortunately, will be our last. It was understaffed, though our waitress was friendly, she was very rushed. I ordered the Alfredo with garlic bread wirh bacon. They forgot the bacon, the best part of my mean was the chicken in my alfredo. My cousins steak was well done, when asked for it medium rare, my aunts burger buns were burn and my mom had potatoes in her rice. All they did was scoop the potatoes out and gave it back. It took well over 20 minutes to get our bills, and even then she kept having problems with the machine as all 3 receipts were wrong.

The food is good. There have been a few times we have got something not cooked long enough but if you have the time, they willingly fix it. In the past, we have had a couple servers with attitude, but for the most part, they are great. I do recommend giving this place a chance. They have a large menu, with something for everybody.

Coffee was cold, waited long for cream and milk for the coffee. Food was Luke warm. Will not go back.

Went for lunch. The washrooms were filthy and the smell of urine so strong it turned me from eating lunch. I ordered Sysco carrot cake ... The music was nice. Food : 3/5

A disaster! The salad wasnt fresh, probably cooled from the cooler. I have a different interpretation of Italian sauce. Vegetables, not cooked and just warmed a little. No taste. The waitress didnt know anything about wine. She was of the opinion that the red wine was probably already 6% vol. The meat is partly raw. Even a return has made no progress. As they say, cooking and cooking well equals a lot of work. Is not known here. No response to my feedback. Never again!

The service is top notch. The place is so nostalgic. A must for the schnitzel. Unreal.

I have gone to Finnigans quite often usually when my dad is in town because the food and the service is always amazing but on Friday we went in around 8:30 9 and we were rushed out because they decided to close early. Very disappointing. The waitress kept coming back what felt like every 5 min to see if we were done yet. Not very impressed with the service but the food was awesome as always

Dined in to have lunch at Finnigans. They were packed and it was very busy. The waitresses greeted us and even though we had to wait a few minutes to be seated it was nice that we were acknowledged right away. Our waitress, Laurel, was nothing short of awesome. Even being ran off her feet, she came to the table multiple times at the perfect times seeming relaxed and calm, to ensure our drinks were filled up and we were satisfied with the meals. When my food arrived it was steaming hot and it was some of the best lasagna Ive had in the area. I would highly recommend dining there for a great experience. It is also nice that they serve breakfast all day. Thanks Finnigans and especially Laurel for the great experience.

Claire was not only rude and disrespectful. She messed our order up three times , she sent out coffee with grounds in it . And when asked for her name so we could right a through complaint on her she refused to give it , we had to get it from another server . Disgusting behaviour Claire we won t be back!

Great breakfast at a reasonable price. This is our go to place in town for a full sized breakfast. Usually it s very busy on the weekends but the wait staff are always so friendly and on top of service and filling our coffee mugs. Parking: Extra parking in the back of the restaurant

Got seated, our waitress complained about how she didn t like the table behind us, she then proceeded to touch my 4 month old and pulled out her soother with out asking. Ordered a western and it tasted like salt. Will not be going back, just warning other parents that their children will get touched by strangers that don t ask

(Pembroke finnigans review) Wow i don t even know what to think right now.. So i ordered some brunch today from Finnigans Put an instruction to sauté the hashbrowns with onions specifically said cook with onions PLS not fried now i see how a amateur cook would missunderstand that to be not fry the onions? But we still got deep fried (hardly) and a handfull of RAW ONION on one and NOTHING on the other? So we called with a little lenience just clarifying and trying to get an easy solution, we just wanted to get a cute little breakfast right. The manager [Sherry?] proceeds to tell us she didnt have glasses and she didnt understand what was wrong with an entire plate topped with raw onion ??? Anyways after a professional restaurant manager arguing with the customers that we didnt explain things right and hand us the blame, when all we wanted was a solution she agrees to send us a new set of hashbrowns. We wait. Now its going on the late afternoon to eat breakfast. The new set arrives, guess what ! both are the same order this time- miracle BUT STILL RAW !! Raw potato and onion is not how i wanted to spend my day but here we are, We call again because now were the ones that dont understand we spent 10 minutes explaining we just want it sautéed just stick it all in a pan it might even be easier to do than sticking it in a deep fryer no? We told them the raw onion was ridiculous and you know what the last thing she says was? I thought you wanted raw onion? I dont think its glasses that she needs.. Usually i wouldnt make a post about this and be that person but the way we were spoken to and ruined my meal today it almost feels like mockery. Again i can feel for a brand new cook at their job but a restaurant manager that thinks its perfectly okay to send people raw food TWICE is insane to me. Emphasis on the twice, i wouldnt be upset if it was once but just plain unseasoned raw food the second time. After not getting our problem resolved, just a bunch of soggy food and 43$ less in my pocket, i feel others should be warned. Do better or don t, but ill be sure to speak up Also if you look on the other reviews all the 5 star reviews are literally burnt yet they got a great rating wish i could have seen that customer service that would make me look past my waste of money

If you re looking to reserve for a large group like a hockey team: stay away! They have weird rules on drinks for kids (tiny glasses at $2 per glass). The food was okay and our waitress was pleasant but we felt it was unsafe for kids because of the bar attached to the restaurant.

The front greeter was very indifferent when they had clearly made an mistake and she they expected an apology from me instead. Never did she apologize for getting the reservation wrong even though they were called twice about the reservation. Her response was I only work here. Never asked if we would like dessert. Never checked to see if we had enough cutlery or bring cream for my coffee. I realize they were busy, but even a smile on the waitress would of been nice.

Kind and courteous staff always willing to help a visitor. The owner(s) are family and community oriented and always friendly and proactive. The kindness and compassion given to the staff should be commended. Others in food industry should take some lessons in people management. Dietary restrictions: Speak to the very friendly staff and they will help you out! I did not note the other options but spoke to staff about my food allergy and recieved fantastic meal. Parking: No issues with nice paved and spacious parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp and chair lift available for events downstairs!

Had the Fish and Chips. Fish was not cooked therefore had to return it. However the service was great and friendly.

Ribs and the house sauce, wowzers. Portions were huge, prices, incredible. Best value in town, and service, 2nd to non. Thk you. No one in town can top this place, all around!

Went back twice this week for Finnigans specialty pizza & medium chicken wings because its that great!!! Havent found better pizza in this area. If you havent tried Finnigans you definitely need too!!

Went there for dinner tonight and it was ok.. portion sizes were good but quality for the price of the meals didn t measure up to our expectations. Roast beef was very dry and oddly gravy only came on the potatoes, veggies were soggy and we also had ordered the munchie platter that came with rock hard onion rings aside from that it was ok our waitress was kind but definitely won t be returning for a meal anytime soon

The food felt like it was warmed by a queef. All the food was nice and dry. My salmon portion was straight out of a Soviet puppet state during the iron curtain. Had the chance of have a cooked vegetable every 3rd bite, wonderful! Chef had interesting choice of sprinkling random rice over the plate, wonder if was plate was cleaned right? Just add water potatoes were delightfully terrible. Good service though.

It was my first time here and it s not good at all. Surf and turf cheap steak and shrimp just taste like lemon pepper.
