Amazing prices and services. Best cocktails around. Try the chicken Strips and sweet Fries. Breakfast poutine is 10/10 been back multiple times but today have the chicken quesadilla with a side of home fries and it was delicious Parking: Free parking lot acrose street in a lot next to back of building. Metered marking behind on side street and in front acrose of street Kid-friendliness: So kid friendly.

Food, absolutely delicious! Chimichanga, Chicken Caesar wrap with Sweet potato fries and garlic/cilantro dip! Service was excellent. Our server was a very sweet young lady. Find the food is hit or miss. The chicken fingers and french fries are way overcooked and dryer than you know what. Menu hasn t changed ever as far as I m concerned. I think it s time to try something new.

Horrible service, over 30 min and 2 tables . Two cooks in kitchen and waitress came by once to take order and once over 30 min to deliver sub par food. Never go back ever then waitress tried to tell me they were extremely busy . If you can t handle two tables, you shouldn t be a waitress. If you were that busy , maybe come over and communicate the issues of your timing. Sat with no water no refill offer , no comms. All around disaster for this waitress and this restaurant . If I could give ZERO I would.

Apps for most came after the main meal. (Backwards). Menu a bit miss leading, sweet potatos dipems are just Julian sweet potato fries.

Deal on fish and chips was reasonable. Comfortable atmosphere and lovely staff.

I should start by saying I had tried this place a few years ago and remember liking the food. However tonight, when we arrived there was live music, but the volume was so loud everyone had to yell and it was uncomfortable. Next issue was it took over a hour to get an appetizer, and they never came one time to refill drinks. It took almost 2 hours to get our meals and when it cam the fries were all burnt, and half the meals were cold and the other half were burnt. The major issue was while the kitchen and staff were running behind the owner sat at a table and drank with friends. We got home and ordered pizza, overall this place cares less about its food then it does its customers.

A group of 6 friends including myself went here for dinner tonight. The overall experience was awful. The live music was so loud to the point that we could not have a a conversation at all. It took an hour to get our appetizers and another hour to get our meals. The fish tacos were cold. All the fries on each dish were made with stale, old oil and were not edible. The wings were so dry and unevenly seasoned. The waiter was good despite being clearly overwhelmed with the amount of tables he had to manage and the level of noise in the restaurant making it almost impossible for him to hear the orders. Overall, terrible experience. Not worth my $100 bill for 2 people. Will not be returning.

Service was top notch and food was delicious, not our first time here but first time for breakfast.Server went out of her for my daughter with her desire for marshmallows for her hot chocolate. Such a simple act which brought great joy to my daughter. Thank you for the great experience.

The place has a nice atmosphere overall, but the food I found was mid. Portion was slightly small. Fries were dark and soggy. Waitress forgot the ordered gravy. Not fresh looking at all. The steak and mushroom melt was ok for what it was. Beef and mushrooms on a Metro store bought hamburger bun. Homemade either in the restaurant or bought from a bakery would have been an improvement. Service was average. Waitress took our tables dessert orders, and I never received my order. For what we paid, it didnt meet anything outstanding and Id likely return some time, but not anytime soon.

Janna s has become our favourite restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is friendly. We have tried many items on the menu more than once and all were delicious. We definitely recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!

Was there Sat Feb3, 2024 Nice looking restaurant Good Latte food terrible Waited 40 minutes for our food sausage and eggs and a grilled cheese. I must add it was supposed to be the Mega Grilled cheese with Aoli!! There was 2 pieces of bacon and no Aoli just a plain grilled cheese and bacon. Sausage overcooked and dry, french fries thick cut and black . They were obviously understaffed but the one waitress was excellent trying to do her best. Would not return

We had the steak and mushroom sandwich with a garden salad and the peppercorn burger with fries. It was excellent! The bowl for the salad is far too small, making it difficult to eat - but thats a standard in a pub style restaurant. The London fog was great as well - although they dust with cinnamon, which I am not a fan of but could see how others would love it! Good service and a lovely atmosphere, make sure to look up as the ceiling is the original stamped steel!

We were a very large group, with reservations. So, staffing should not have been an issue. But, there were only 2 servers for the whole restaurant including serving takeout. It took over 2 hours to receive our meal. The food was so-so. The fajitas were bland with an imbalance of chicken and too many onions. Could have used other veggies. The cimichanga was ok, somewhat dry. Could have used a side of salsa and/or guac. Great atmosphere though.

Janna and Kerrys is always my first choice when someone asks where Id like to eat.

Food was fantastic & our server was friendly. However, I wasnt thrilled when I was told that she didnt have any change for $40, on my $28 bill, resulting in a 40% tip.

Small local dining Establishment, good fare, fair prices.

We went there for lunch and were surprised and pleased by the different types of dishes on the menu. I had the Fajita Bowl. This was something that I would not have expected to find in a restaurant in Pembroke. It was quite delicious and satisfying. It is nice that to find a menu that has interesting vegetarian options. The service was friendly Vegetarian options: Salads are offered. The only other vegetarian offerings are dishes which have optional beef or chicken and can be ordered with neither

My wife and I went here last night for the first time and Im glad we did. Our server was amazing, super friendly and the food was just as good. Everything was so tasty, we ordered the Fajitas and our server made the tortillas right in front of our eyes! Talk about fresh! We will definitely be back.

Came with my wife to pembroke for our anniversary. Trying to find some place eat for dinner is always a challenge and while traveling even more difficult. We did a google search for places to eat and scrolled through the list, as one does these days. We found Janna and Kerrys and thought what the heck. We got great service even with the waitress hobbling around with a compression boot on her foot. Order was taken fast and efficiently, food arrived the same way. The food was amazing and portion size was perfect. We were so happy with our experience and food that after traveling all day on our second day in pembroke, we went straight back for dinner again. It wasnt even a question. Even with staffing issues they didnt skip a beat, everything was spot on. We are thinking about about coming back in the fall, just to come back to eat. Wishing this restaurant was in hamilton ontario, it would be our goto restaurant. I read the bad reviews and I will say the good out ways the bad. Everyone has bad days. If you have every worked serving the public would know how difficult it can be. If ever anyone is in pembroke you must go to eat here.

Great looking inside atmosphere. I had a steak mushroom melt and fries. It wasnt anything spectacular. Chopped pieces of steak, mushrooms, and shredded mixed cheese on a hamburger bun. The fries were thick cut and they said that they were fresh cut, but kind of soggy. The gravy was a $2 add on and definitely made from a dry mix. My wife had fish and chips. The fish was a piece of frozen overcooked cod with the same soggy fries I had. She didnt get to try the coleslaw that was supposed to be with her meal because it didnt come. Kinda a disappointing lunch. We always look at Google reviews of places to eat when we are away and this place had a 4.7 rating. Im not sure how unless it has recently changed hands. The waitress was great working short staffed managing at least 10 tables on her own.

As a group of three that came in for lunch. While we only seen on waitress and it was busy.. she greeted us with a smile and sat us right away .. she was serving servers tables on her own but maintained a friendly smile and was table touching every table .. we did have to wait to get our food but we understood . When we did get it we got hot and full health portions . I would highly recommend taking the time to enjoy linch at this location if you are in the area

2023 Edit You ll see below from my original review that Janna and Kerry s used to be my go to when people visited us in the valley. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience when we booked our rehearsal dinner for a party of 20 to discuss our wedding and have food and drinks. I won t put all of the details here but it was poorly executed, server was awful, food was cold and looked like it sat and it took 2 hours for us to even eat. I emailed a follow up complaint to the business to keep this out of the public review but heard nothing back. Super disappointed. Um wow? I just moved to the area and this was my first time trying this restaurant. It was delivered hot. I got the fajita bowl and added steak. The food was fresh and I could tell the vegetables were hand cut? At least the carrots were. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a grilled flavour. I also got the vanilla green sweet tea and let me tell you I lived in the south and this is one of the best sweet teas Ive had. Well done! Impressed.

We made a pit stop for some lunch. Sooo yummy. Big beefy frirs cooked perfectly, nice gooey cheese. Burger was huge and tasty. Definitely worth the stop! #supportlocal Food

So far Ive only been there a handful of times but the service has been impeccable, the food absolutely delicious and the atmosphere extremely comfortable. They have artwork from talented artists displayed tastefully on their walls which are also available for purchase! Ive met Janna and Kerry andhave nothing but great things to say about the two and thier staff. The quality of food is higher than the prices listed on the menu and I would definitely recommend this as a place to go to; for a late breakfast, lattes, alcoholic beverages, appetizers or a full dinner. Two thumbs up from this lady!

A group of friends and I went here for lunch. We were expecting a typical bar style restaurant, but it was beyond our expectations! The food and service was incredible. Id highly recommend the pulled pork, we had it on both the nachos and the tacos. The fresh made Tortillas are reason enough to come here. The drinks were great as well! We wish that we lived closer because it is the kind of place we would go to on a regular basis.

Just came here before work, proceeded to wait 50 minutes for 4 breakfast sandwiches and burnt chicken fingers. The waitress was nice but as an ex kitchen employee I know that it does not take this long to make a sandwich with toast, eggs and cheese. Thoroughly unimpressed my friend wasn t able to eat the chicken fingers. How do you mess up chicken fingers? I m mind blown by the reviews as to how they have such a high rating. Their was only 2 tables of 3 people when we walked in one of which already had their food. So what was the 45 minute wait for? The coffee was disgusting. I watched my friend scowl as she took her first bite of what they call chicken fingers. This is the first and last time I come to this establishment. Tomorrow i ll just stick to my bagel and cream cheese rather then wait close to an hour for extremely sub par food. Very Unimpressed. Even my 8 year old cousin could make chicken fingers that look better then that.

Great food and even better service. The restaurant itself is worth a visit with its copper ceiling and century old brick. The burgers and salads are amazing!

Service was slow and we had to ask for napkins and a fork and knife after they brought out the appetizers. Burger was burnt and so were the chicken fingers. Fries were underdone. Last time i was there it took 20 mins for the appetizers and then another 40 mins for entres. Used to be good but not so much anymore.

Went here to get takeout when I was in a hurry, I ordered the Eggs Benedict which they cooked in record time. Despite the speed the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the coffee was great too :)

Always friendly, always delicious. Good handling of COVID precautions. Really enjoyed a YUMMY bacon grilled cheese sandwich with aioli, a generously-stuffed chicken wrap + veggies and potato bacon soup. Always look forward to our next visit!

Ordered take out on the weekend and we got our order very quickly. Everything was packaged with care and consideration for being take out (gravy on the side for the poutine for example!). I ate more than I ve eaten in ages because I just couldn t stop! The potato skins were delicious. The fried cheese curds omg and the burgers were melt in your mouth with a blast of flavour. Tonight I ordered take out for the family. Fajitas are a family favorite. I must say the whole family was thrilled with the great taste! From the youngest to the oldest in the family all 10 of us loved them. The kids also loved the deep fried cheese curds and the baked chips. Thank you for a wonderful family dinner!!

Pembrokes place to enjoy good food with good friends. There isnt a day you cant find the owners hard at work serving you with a smile.

Terrible service, the owner was the cook,waitress,an d somewhat of a greeter( with hamburger on her hands as she explained as just making Fresh Burgers. Very slow to get our order in. A couple had to take theirs packed to go because they waited an hour. Fish we ordered was Burnt. No coleslaw, and after the bill came we asked why and was told,were out,we could have offered you some lettuce. My Steak and mushrooms melt was on a crumbled hamburger bun and a quarter size barbecue sauce dollop .Soup that accompanied it was can of Raveolli in tomato soup for $ 17.99. Water was Never filled and with a Beer our meal came to $55!! I say water was never filled because we sat there so long and thats all I was drinking for the full hour and 3/4.

One of my favourite lattes.. period! Great place to grab a delicious coffee, or stop on and have some amazing fajitas. The best staff, with very engaged ownership. Great place to eat in downtown Pembroke. Get through the afternoon lull with a caffeine pick-me-up!

Just had the hipster burger. One of the BEST burgers in town. Expertly crafted, perfect balance of textures and flavours. Easily the best burger on the menu. As ALWAYS, the service here is outstanding! Perfect family restaurant during the day, and a cool place with live music and great atmosphere at night.

I wish I had more time to visit this place, Ive enjoyed every visit and meal I have had. I love the hospitality, the entertainment, Janna and Kerry and their down to earth essence remind me of all the good things about growing up in Pembroke.

Hands down one of the best breakfasts Ive had in a long time. Very reasonably priced. The jam is amazing and highly recommend the breakfast poutine.

What a wonderful experience we all had at Janna and Kerrys. The service was quick and super friendly. Very cool environment - lots of nice art on the walls and the decor was interesting (in a good way). Food was mediocre for the most part. We started with hot wings, which were really good, but both of our mains were only okay. I had the chimichanga with rice and fries, and everything tasted like it came out of a box. The chimichanga tasted like everything from the meat to the sauce on top was out of an Old El Paso kit, and Im pretty sure the rice was just Rice-a-Roni or something similar. Kinda of disappointing. My spouses chicken club sandwich was supposed to come on a fresh kaiser bun but it was just on some Wonderbread-looking hamburger bun with some wilted shredded lettuce and under-ripe tomatoes. Service was not very attentive. She forgot to exclude the tomatoes from the burger and when I asked for the cilantro-lime sauce for my chimichanga, she brought me ranch dressing.

First experience poor at best, we never had a chance to taste anything. We stood at the door then we were told from a distance we could sit at any table but, the one she pointed out. Chose a table, sat down, the table was dirty with dirty dishes left on it. I went to the washroom, returned and noticed that the people that came after us were being served at a clean table, menu in hand. We had yet to be approached, after 10 min we left and spent our money somewhere else. The food may be great but we will never know as the customer service drove us out the door!

All the apps were 10/10. The mains were 8/10. The problem is they could have easily been a 10 out of 10 with a small attention to detail. The buns served for the burgers and club House were horriable and a bit soggy. Cheap burger buns. A good quality bun would put these meals over the top. Would have told our server (owner?) this but she never asked once how any of our food was. Sooooo close. Fix the small things and this place will rock.

Very homey atmosphere. The server we had was super nice and personable. Great tortillas made from scratch! Vast menu with delicious options. Only slight complaint is that they have very odd iced tea flavors that werent really for me, but I can see the appeal and theyre 100% worth the try!
