Britbar is a fashionable, yet approachable British themed bar/restaurant with a focus on inclusivity, combining all the fun of a lounge with an outrageous punk attitude towards life. We are licensed until 3am, however our doors are locked at midnight so make sure to come early and take advantage of the girl power happy hour - $4 drink specials 10pm-midnight.

The owner let me have free pineapple juice the whole night since I was driving my friends who were all drinking home! I had a great time!
My first experience at Brexit: I had to teach the bartenders how to mix a simple margarita salted rim on-the-rocks: then they charged me $25. What tha? My second experience at Brexit: They would not let me in because i had a pony-tail and a backpack. i LIVE here. I will never go there again, AND Neither should you. Please EVICT Brexit from these lands. This is the UNCEDED territory and lands of the okanagan siylx people. waai
Do Not order Food or the watered down mixed drinks at this establishment! Our chicken wings were undercooked and when brought to the owners attention he went Unprofessional on us stating we’re just complainers… we politely asked if the wings could be cook some more as they did look good but he declined. Our drinks were super watered down and when questioned he made a remark about the flat sprite being at the bottom of the tank and they needed to be changed.. Fair enuf.. a replacement was provided by a lovely gal behind the bar. This Owner left what was suppose to be a fun and entertaining Bingo night with 9 guest a disappoint! Will NOT be Back! Do Not Eat at this Pub!
When we first entered this establishment we were greeted by the owner with a warm welcome. He was very attentive. Everyone there was friendly and polite. We made friends very fast and the ambience was on point. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the prices were great ! If you want a personal experience and a great night this is the place to go! Thanks Martin again!
Went here for Ella's Naughty Drag Bingo and had a great time! The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere and music was great. Me and my girlfreind ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was pretty standard, but other than that we had a great experience!
Very warm and inviting. Great atmosphere and a lot of fun. Expertly crafted drinks and at a very reasonable cost. Even let us play our own terrible music and worked with a smile through it. 10/10 would go again.
This place is so awesome! I visited during the UFC fights and it was busy but the owner was running around ensuring everyone was welcomed, looked after and happy and they were! Top notch service! 🙌 I don’t expect any less from a fellow Scouser 🇬🇧 Being a Brit myself it was so cool to be able to enjoy some treats I’m familiar with like Magners, curry chips, monster munch (!!!) and the unique Yorkshire pud pizzas offered on the menu! 🤤 The decor is down to a T 👌 a lot of thought and effort has been put into this place - you got me with the Spice Girls 🕺🏻 - really made me feel right at home in Canada! I look forward to returning! If you’re in town - this place is a must!
As per the name the British theme was in full display! It was a little quiet on a Sunday evening, but karaoke was live with a handful of people encouraging each other to get up and continue. A couple Jenga tables are setup and a lot of fun, the atmosphere was great. I didn't eat so can't comment on food.

i love going to the britbar i am sober, but still find the environment extremely inviting & the owner is extremely kind. i highly recommend to ANYONE looking for a good place to hang out

Brit Bar is mint and the owner Martin is top class. If you are looking for a place to watch football / soccer, there is no better place in Penticton. A British pub, owned by a British lad. So expect an environment of sarcasm, jokes, banter and laughs. If you are a sensitive soul, this hangout might not be right for you. Always like to see Penticton business owners doing their best, keeping our small city vibrant. Thanks Martin for giving us a a spot full of nostalgia and a place that reminds us of home.
Drove from Vernon to see this place but when we arrived at 5pm it was closed. Had plan to stay for the dj on the Saturday because was shown on the website. Really sad we missed out on this

The owner of this bar is a shuttle driver, and after a wine tour, said he would give our group VIP prices at a British themed bar he owned. So naively, with hopes of half price drinks in our heads and tasty British pub food, we headed over to this bar, that was completely empty at 8 pm. Sitting in this bar was like being stuck in a different dimension where time was meaningless, as drinks and food took ages to come, and we were charged full price anyway. The people that did get cocktails, the drinks were actually good. The food was what you would expect, at 5$ for a poutine which was ok, and 2.50$ for wings, which is actually a pretty good deal! My friend who has a stomach of iron ended up getting food poisoning from the wings, while 3 more of us got the rumble guts from the poutine and pizza. 2.50$ for wings was too good to be true.
We visited Penticton for 2 days and didnt know where to watch UCL final/ didnt know if any bar would have coverage for this Match. And then we found this beautiful Pub with nice Service and great Beer/ Drinks selection. Barkeeper was very friendly/smart. It saved our day, unfortinately BVB didnt win :(

Honestly dont know how this place has any good ratings people say good atmosphere it could use some updating second they say staff is great and friendly there was no staff no waitress or waiter just the bartender trying to do it all didnt even have kitchen staff one man show as for food not much to eat the bathroom was not some where i would sit people said best place in penticton have you been anywhere else honestly i dont know how you survive no pitchers very limited selection of alchol and beer we couldnt find anyone for the first 30 min to sell us a beer we went as a group of 5 there was only 5 other people in there I will never go back sorry but Im just being honest wow you read my review and make threats your a real good buisness owner I never called you down I gave an honest review but you just cant handle it if you were smart in anyway you would look at the reviews and try to improve on your pub by listening to the feedback get some staff clean up your bathroom dont make paying customers wonder how to get food or drinks and I dont stand for threats if you think you can scare me with threats you cant I now understand why your pub had only 5 people in it get a grip and I will be sure to let people know how you react to reviews and unhappy customers pretty stupid to make threats on Google

Found this place while looking for something open late on a Monday, thankful we found this spot! Visiting from Arizona I was looking for somthing unique and memorable. The bartender and the owner greeted my family and I with open arms, they were so friendly, extremely knowledgeable and overall a great time. It was late night happy hour and their cocktail list had a big selection. Next time I m in Penticton, this will be my go to spot!! Thanks for having us.
Only fries, poutine or one other deep-fried food options. The drinks are expensive, so glad we went during happy hour. Would have liked a broader selection of beers.
The Pub has a big sign advertising karaoke starting at 8PM. They also advertise an 8 oclock start on line. I even received a confirmation saying 8 PM. When we arrived we were told it starts at 10:30 we came back a few hours later. We were told it was starting soon so we hung around awhile. Then we were told it starts around 11:30 after other bars and pubs close

The best place in penticton to hang out! The drinks are delicious and the staff are so lovely. Martin is an absolute doll. I complained I was too hot in my camper and this man went and got me a fan from the back of the bar.. absolute angel. Will be going back the next time I m in penticton!!
Ive been here multiple times. Food, beer, and atmosphere have always been incredible. The place to be in Penticton as far as I know!

Always a good time, safe space for women, aware engaged owner & staff. Guiness on tap is actually very good, poured correctly (Irish connoisseur approved) - highly recommend Brit bar!
