been coming here consistently for date nights & we get so excited each time rather its for something weve never tried or something weve had 10 times!!

Great food great beer.

Food was pretty good. Glass of wine my partner got taste like boxed wine but I guess its a brewery. Service was subpar both times Ive been there.

Food was amazing! Our group had the Tatchos, Chicken Nachos & Buffalo cauliflower bites. The Hazy IPA was my favourite on tap!

We went to this place about three weeks ago for beer and nachos. They did not have nachos on the menu so we ordered tacos. The food was not flavourful at all. We did not enjoy even a single bite. They need to have other type of food on the menu as well, such Burgers, etc.

Been going here weekly since the day it opened, great with the kids, good drinks but as of late Ive been disappointed, the new menu rolled out with some great items. I loved the burritos, but now they are legitimately half the size with very little filling, it used to be a good portion of food now Id need a burrito and a few tacos to get full. Hopefully they get back to the old portions. Update the tortas are great, burritos still tiny, and the streetcorn is offensively bland, like how do they make corn that bad, 0 flavor. Its not hard to heat up frozen corn every hour or so. Its butrally bad, chewy and no flavor. Raspberry iced tea is phenomenal and the service is solid

While visiting Penticton with extended family (of all ages) in late August, we had a cool, rainy Saturday afternoon. What to do with no beach event, just call NB and (on short notice) request seating for a group of 20. They said no problem and we were seated (together) in the large upstairs space. The facility is large, has two levels, and an outdoor west facing patio. The food theme is Mexican and beverages are varied (beer, coolers, nonalcoholic, etc.). Many different menu items and drinks were selected and no major complaints arose. Prices and portions were reasonable. Our server did a great job, patiently answering all questions, providing suggestions, being prompt, and even providing separate bills without any hassle (well done Taylor). We will be back next year and can hopefuly occupy the patio. Be aware that you may have to pay to park nearby.

Best brewery in town. Great beer, seltzers, and food. This is always the first place I ll take friends that are visiting Penticton to. Great Vibes, great staff and service and they are dog friendly to boot! They have so many great drink options and Johnnys pale ale is my favorite beer in the okanagan

Yuck. Used to be good, now I wont go back.Waste of my money. Ordered the bean and cheese burrito and added chicken. Dad got the chicken quesidilla. Chicken was dry dry. Burrito was bland, flavorless and mushy. The 6 dips they used to offer are now 4 and the best green creamy one is gone and has been replaced by some watery green sauce that doesnt compare to the old one. The old menu is now gone( its been 1.5 yrs) since I was there last and it used to be really good. We each ate half our lunches only because we were starving. Has to be new management because the best burritos have been taken off the menu and the best sauces replaced... otherwise that or they just removed all the ingredients that cost too much. I will not be going back and would reccomend skipping this place all together. The 1 * goes to the food. To the server who was pleasant, accomadating and did a great job in her role!!!! She gets a 5*

The beers, tacos and service at neighbourhood was fantastic. We booked a large party (including kids) at the last minute and they could not have been more accommodating. The server was very kind, patient, and great with the big group. Highly recommend!

What a gem! The food was spot on. The chicharrones were amazing with a variety of 4 in house made sauces served on the side. I couldn t get enough. The beers offered were so much fun and were greatly enjoyed via a flight. Highly recommend.

Not a great experience tonight. The service was just terrible, from start to finish, and it was even full house. The food was OK, nothing exceptional. Long wait to get our food and once ready my plate came first then another 10 minutes of waiting for the rest. Not my first visit... I have to say that the quality of the food has declined and the service even more. Not sure if Ill be back soon or if Ill recommend.

Absolute rip off. I ordered the quesadilla and was given 2 cold, thin, greasy slices that equaled about 1/4 of the tortilla for $18.99 plus tax, it was laughable. I presume other people got the other quarters. My friends burritos were tiny and not like they used to be. Someone is intentionally cutting corners and ripping customers off. Growing up in this town I have a saying and it s Don t cheap out of your locals Do not get food here!

One beer of theirs and I knew I had to come to the source. Right decision! Riley explained the intricacies of beer making while the mighty Cassandra expertly poured. We settled on a sour peach and an Inky to accompany our yummy tacos: shrimp, prawn, veggie, fish and beef. Henry served us with flair. Highly recommended!!

The beers are great, they experiment with some interesting choices like the blue Hawaiian beer, but also have some classic styles well executed like kolsch and blondes. Worth a visit for the beers alone. Lots of seating, good vibes and some flavorful Mexican style food.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was severely disappointed in the portion size for the Piggy Smalls (lived up to the smalls portion wise) and the shrimp taco. In the past two tacos would have been enough - not so yesterday too bad they have jacked prices and halfed portions

Really good food. Good service but the kitchen was kinda slow.

Nice place good beers however the menu is very spice forward and the kitchen was unable to make anything without heat as they say they batch cook everything and all offerings are pre spiced marinated or sauced before presented to the guest. Even chicerone are apparently cooked and sauced so you cant get them without spice. I asked if I could have the kids chicken nuggets as this was the only non spicy thing they had so instead of selling a $14 meal to a senior they got no sale and I got no food. Restaurants should have at least a few items with no heat/spice or the ability to offer something that can have the spicy elements omitted. Not everyone can have spicy food and just because the chef or server doesnt think its not TOO spicy thats OK. You should have the ability to take spice out when requested or when you have something like a kid meal be able to offer it to their guest.

Came for game 7, told the day before no reservations . Came and the owner reserved almost every single table for buddies to watch the game game has started and 2 tables of 10 are open and people have walked out because they ve been told there s no space. Brutal and I feel sorry for the servers who have had to mitigate the situation.

Food and drinks were good but it s a bit ridiculous that we were told we cannot split the bill. I ve never heard of that before.

Unreal food and drink with the most friendly service! Worth the drive down from Kelowna for the tacos alone!! If youre going to 1 place in Penticton make sure it is Neighbourhood Brewing!!

I am a somewhat regular at this place and food has always been stellar however today was the first time I had been there in about a month and the portion sizes have been considerably shortened. My meal was very good but not only was my burrito noticeably smaller but my chip portion was as well. I found myself still hungry after I left and usually I am super full and satisfied. I hope things will get back to normal there. Still a great atmosphere and service.

Went strictly for the food, which holds up very well on its own. Thrown off at first by the more traditional mexican fare, as we are used to the more americanized salsa/sour cream situation. Turned out to be an excellent flavour sensation, test driving the house-made sauces and was BLOWN AWAY by the pinapple habanero hot sauce! Please bottle it, Ill be the first in line to buy a dozen! Opens with a blast of juicy sweet pineapple that wakes up the senses, without overwhelming your food. Hits the perfect mid-mouth spice zone, lingers and builds but knows when to exit. Nachos were perfectly layered, each chip had some love. Tater tots were golden and crispy all over. Its easy to crowd a fryer basket and end up with mushy bits, not here! Churro was delightfully authentic, chocolate sauce was a more traditional balance between sweet, salt and slightly bitter. We cant speak to the alcohol because we dont drink, but know you are in good hands with the kitchen. Dining room was 40-50% full, lunch service on a Thursday. Server was well attired, not wearing a noticeable scent (thank heavens) friendly, did not hover but maintained attentiveness. The mark of good service! Only one hiccup was one stall in the ladies was completely out of TP. Good thing I check before haha. Thank you for the Lunch!

WOW! This was honestly the best food I ve had in a long time. I ordered the Taco Salad with a side of ranch, and I m speechless at how amazing everything tasted. Their new menu, which debuted today, was executed perfectly by the kitchen. Highly recommend!

Really nice selection of beers, staff very nice and cool venue. The food is more of a snack with your beer than an evening meal or lunch. Other than that, nice place for afternoon beers!

Such a great summer venue! Pets allowed, comfy patio seating, amazing Mexican-style food (altho I cannot say it s authentic, it is tasty none the less). Two minor downsides the only wine option, Foolish Wine, is not good (in my opinion) and while the patio is almost perfect, they have no music for some strange reason. This is a bit of a bummer as it is on a fairly busy street. Music would make a huge improvement to the experience. That said, we will definitely be back!

Always great beer, solid across a range of styles, and fantastic food. Whether youre wanting to sit on their heated patio or inside next to the fire, or even upstairs watching the game, youre sure to have a good time.

Ive loved the beer for a long time but just had the greek burrito it was a good price and absolutely delicious! The wait time was nonexistent, which is nice cause they get very busy. The servers were friendly and attentive, whether its food or drink youre after this is the place to be. Cheers

My recent visit to Neighbourhood Brewing left me with mixed feelings. While the food was generally satisfactory, there were some notable drawbacks that affected the overall dining experience. The burrito was flavorful and satisfying, and the small tacos were decent, albeit overshadowed by the disappointment of stale taco shells. The beer and cider selection was diverse and enjoyable, adding a pleasant touch to the meal. However, the pricing seemed on the higher end for the quality and quantity of food and beverages provided. With a bill totaling $62.92, including a tip, the value proposition felt somewhat lacking. Additionally, I found it off-putting that the default tip on the point of sale device was set at 18%, which I believe could be improved to provide customers with more flexibility and autonomy in tipping. In conclusion, Neighbourhood Brewing offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement. Addressing issues like stale taco shells, reevaluating pricing, and adjusting default tipping options could elevate the overall appeal of the establishment.

The food is very small portions for the price, the tortilla soup and seafood soup was a small plastic cup for close to $14. The Seafood in the soup was not as described, it was miniscule. Two beers and two small cups of soups for around $50.

I have always loved Neighborhood, but unfortunately had very poor service which will result in me never returning to this establishment. The managers were not able to deescalate the situation and I have never experienced such poor hospitality anywhere else before. I hope they are able to retrain their managers and understand how to treat their paying customers better.

Their sign was not lit up so it was hard to find. Good atmosphere and beer but the halibut and chips was really second rate.

The tasting room is awesome and the music they were playing was great. We got the totchos, a burrito, and chicken wings to share and everything was fantastic. Our server was helpful and we liked every beer in our flights - We ll definitely be back!

During peak hours the noise is unbearable and makes conversation difficult. The food is great and I suggest you eat here at 3pm.

Delicious beer and great food. Not every craft brewery can get both right, but Neighbourhood Brewing hits both notes on a high. Would highly recommend for a great lunch after some wine touring.

Food and beer is great here, however the service is hit and miss. Today had to flag down a server to order drinks as food as they simply weren t acknowledging our table. Further, our server sat down with what looked to be her friends and said quite loudly I don t feel like working very hard today. Clearly that was the case.

If you sell a round to a table for last round, please give a time line on, ugly light time! Beer was tastie but I do not need a smash a pint minute!

Ill start this chapter with a quote from Michelin when they rate a place three stars: Worth a special Journey I have had a working relationship with Neighbourhood for a while now due to running a bar for two years, Neale is an amazing guy (the sales rep). Staff are welcoming, the vibe was incredible, of course the weather was great. Food was bulletproof, the tacos were fantastic, and prices are BEYOND REASONABLE for the area. Riley was a fantastic Bartender and I will definitely be stopping in again when Im in town next (May 2-4) Thank you to all the staff, from a restauranteur perspective, you are CRUSHING IT!

Fabulous and I mean FABULOUS fusion grub. Some of the best Mexican food in the valley if not THEE best! The beer is top notch, the vibes are great and the margarita seltzer is bloody incredible! My favorite spot to visit in Penticton!

Patio has a fun atmosphere. The selection of beer choices are good. My tacos looked nothing like any of the photos on reviews. There was no sauces offered at all, very tiny piece of fish on a very small tortilla. No garnishes, guac, salsa or sour crm.

Great food, great beer. Unfortunately, cannot say the same for the service. We ordered an appetizer, a caeser salad and 3 tacos. The salad came first, 5 minutes later came our appetizer and then a further 3 or 4 minutes later came the tacos.

Salted lime lager, happy place and sunshine city all beautiful citrus-forward beers that pair nicely with their tacos. A regular stop for us, and the outdoor space is great (and dog friendly!).

We had lunch here yesterday and it was delicious!! And a HUGE nod to our server LAURA who was delightful, comical and quick witted! She really made our time there enjoyable. She said they were shortstaffed, and it didnt show at all. Service and food was top notch. Thanks Neighborhood!

We were just there this afternoon we ordered drinks and food. We could see over drink order sitting at the bar and took for ever to get it. Our food came with NO side plates when we asked a for side plates there wasnt enough and they were just thrown onto the table. We also had to wave down the waiter for more beer. I think it is time to higher some new staff as the waiter and waitress that served us were awful

As a tourist, I had an amazing first experience at Neighbourhood Brewing. The tasting room was clean, modern, and welcoming. There was a vast, delicious beer selection (too many to try!), and the food greatly exceeded expectations (I loved the Tatchos). The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help with any questions or recommendations. I can t wait to visit again.

Drinks were gross and service wasnt great.

I was so fond of this place. Always great food. I have gone in with minors many times before and it has never been a problem as it is not a 19+ establishment. The last time we sat down, decided what we wanted to order and we were asked to provide ID. My husband who was getting a drink provided the ID, but none of the rest of us were drinking. The waitress asked to see everyones ID and we told her one of us was a minor and dont have ID. We were than told that without his parents (he was 18 and the rest of us in our 20s) we would have to leave. This was upsetting as we wasted our time and their time. We asked why this had never been a problem in the past and the waitress replied well the other servers werent doing their job. I wont be going back to due the poor service and lack of transparency on regulations for their restaurant.

Our favourite spot in the okanagan! The atmosphere, staff, food and beer/drink menu are unreal. We love the house made sauces and chips. Great spot for people (and pups!!) of all ages with lots of tvs inside and beautiful heated/misted patio. 10/10 always recommend this place!

We visited Neighbourhood Brewing at the end of a long day of beer/wine tasting. One of our party had eaten here previously and stated great things about the food. The food tasted quite good and was very fast. Unfortunately the service was quite mixed. We were forgotten about and felt like our business was not wanted by our server. Almost an inconvenience to be in his section...It was just at shift changeover I guess. The place had a very fun atmosphere and was lively with guests. In this day where every penny matters their price points are very reasonable and the quality of their product is very good. I suspect Neighbourhood Brewing is not targeting our demographic. I am sure this was a one-off experience and will try here again.

Sat at the bar and had no expectations due to mixed reviews. Beer is good, not amazing but had lots of options. Their seltzers were really nice as was the margarita. Food was great. They forgot my burrito but we re constantly checking on it. When it showed up it was amazing. So why the five stars? The bartender was a legend. Awesome kid who was working his butt off. Would hire him for any job in the world with his work ethic. Without him It would be 4 stars for sure.

Went over the BC Day Long weekend and had an okay experience. We were a group of 7 and most meals were prepared well. One meal, nachos, were made incorrectly (asked for dressings to be on the side). Order reluctantly sent back but it wouldn t be eaten with the avocado & cilantro sauce on it. New order arrived about 20 minutes later with 3/4 of the toppings missing (corn, beans, onions, etc. Only beef & cheese remained). Still had to pay full price for the meal that was made incorrectly twice. Not very impressed with the outcome.

Amazing staff and unbelievably good food. Ordered lunch to go, only because our group was eating lunch in the park. Thé take out is very very limited. But the staff looked after us so well. I bought the Royale Burgeritto And it is amazing. I will definitely be returning to enjoy a sit down dinner. Thank you to the staff for treating us so nicely too.

Excellent front of house service. Although cooks were overwelmed at half capacity and said we had to order drinks to order food. I asked if they were under staffed because me and the gf are cooks our selfs and have been in way higher capacity kitchens without turning off skip. And we were told it was just to make the cooks happy. They need new or more cooks because there kitchen is open concept, and there was no rush the cook was slowly wiping stuff. After looking at the menu wich tastes great we know the dishes are already prepped its just a matter of assembly and hitting a pan no reason for the cooks to be overwelmed on a wendsday at Half capacity.

Neighborhood Pub helps make Penticton the great place that is. Phenomenal service, beer and food. Such an attentive staff ensures you are having a good experience.

The food is fantastic, the service pretty good (especially when considering how busy it is during the summer.) I do find it to just be too loud most of the time. The big open space just becomes a wall of noise, hearing anyone at your table talking is hard when the noise of every other table is being reflected back at you. Would be a much better experience if they had some panels to deaden the noise a bit. Luckily if the weather is good dinning out doors has none of these issues and is my preferred way to dine.

Massive brewery owned by Yellow Dog owner in Port Moody, delicious tacos with an old school option and other Mexican style plates. Delicious food/ drinks and comfortable seating, two floors. Friendly staff and dog friendly patio and 4 in house made hot sauces to choose from.

If you like Mexican food this place is probably a good spot for you. If youre looking for anything what Mexican food then stay away. They have a large selection of microbrews And a sunny outdoor eating area.

Great beer and atmosphere!

Excellent service, tacos were second to none and the flights of beer didn t let me down at all. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting penticton that likes Mexican food and good beer.

OMG ! Ive heard so much about the tacos and I finally had a chance to come out, and man oh man DEFINITELY worth the hype and accolades. Amazing! And of course the beer and service was so too!

Fantastic selection of in-house beer on tap combined with a creative menu that is Mexican-based provides ample enjoyment for those seeking flavourful and fine tasting food and drink. One star is lost due to the uncomfortable chairs and loud ambience.

Well done Neighbourhood Brewing. The place has a great vibe. Service was fast. The food was very good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Can t wait to go back again.

Great service, great food and great beer! We have been sampling their beers for some time now and had to see the source. So glad we did!! The kids and ourselves all thoroughly enjoy the place. Definitely would recommend!!

Really good food and drinks!

I do have one complaint, but still 5 stars all around. Beer is in point and tacos are always amazing I will fight anyone who says otherwise. But guys come on ? What s with the country music on Sundays? I had to stop coming on Sundays for that reason and it hurts my soul here is the thing. I love this place clearly .but nothing about neighborhood strikes me or my friends as a country music vibe. We went to slackwater once cause of the country, music and don t get me start on the beer there it s clearly no 5 starts like here. But the country music just feels out a place Enough said I love you guys and still coming just maybe not on country music days. But I always always come in any other day

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I ve always had good service, great beer, and excellent food. I m from Penticton but have lived in and travelled to Mexico a lot and I think neighborhood has some top notch Mexican food. The homemade salsas are very well done and taste authentic.

The selection of beer on tap was really good and the food was really good. The Mexican flair with a beer on a hot day was perfect. The staff was super attentive and friendly.

Had a great evening here. Food was amazing - try the big bad wolf if you like it hot! Beer was really good too. We did have to wait an hour for food but it was busy, and short staffed - 1 server for the upper floor. She was amazing. Kept drinks topped up while we waited for food.

Amazing food , had the carnitas burrito it was fantastic. Had Pursuit Pils with it again awesome. Friendly staff.

This place got great reviews but I wasn t impressed. Our waitress was kind of mean, and the food was mediocre. I had the Santa Fe salad and it was basic and not very flavorful. Bad Tattoo was so much better!!!

Always good service, nice atmosphere and good tacos. Good variety of beer. Had the James Pond (fish). It was really good and have tried the Kevin Bacon, Cluck Norris, Prawn Shop and Sqid Games Calamari Taco all are worth trying.

Terrible customer service. We went on the patio with our dog and the server told us to go see the host. We go see the host and she tells us to leave and go to the patio because of our dog. My husband takes the dog to the patio and waits at the side then another server tells us we cant wait on the patio. Then the manager tells us we are rude and asks us to leave, in actuality she was the only person that was rude. Had the first server asked us to wait outside while one of us registered with the host and had the host told us to wait outside but not on the patio everything would have been fine. There loss of a valued customer.

Beer was pretty tasty, really enjoyed the dark magic. Food was really good, the El Pastor, and Chorizo tacos were incredible; the elotes was delicious too.

Fast service and great atmospher

Great food, excellent service, tasty beer and wonderful ambiance. The owners have worked very hard to make this well decorated pleasant place to be. I have only one complaint! It irritates me that the option to tip on the payment machine begins at 18% and goes up from there. I dont mind tipping but in my opinion 18% is too much for the amount of service that you get at this establishment. I keep coming back because I like the place but the tip situation annoys me every time.

Ive always loved Neighbourhood, brought the family for the first time today. Everyone was thrilled! The beer was great, the food was great, the sauces were out of this world (wish we could buy them separately), and the service was so good (upstairs) even my 8 & 10 year old kids commented on it. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Thanks Neighbourhood for being a part of our neighbourhood!

Decent food, I like the fact you can bring your dog

Fresh beer IS the difference I love their rotating taps including hard seltzers. A brewery that makes it all, add in the 5 star environment and then the food #enjoyit

Our server Jaquelyn was fantastic and the beer/food was great!

We had two flights of beers and liked most of them. Unfortunately the kitchen was behind by almost an hour. Ordered our food around 7:45p on Sunday, 9/4 (holiday weekend), and didnt start receiving our entrees until 8:35p. Waitress didnt apologize, didnt offer to get any additional drinks, and couldnt even keep our waters filled. Simply deflected blame and said she was just told they were behind by 40 minutes...after we waited for 45 already. No manager apology either. Disappointing in the service and food but the beer was pretty good.

We came here three times during our trip. All three times staff were great atmosphere was awesome and beer was excellent. Tacos n tots are nice accompaniments. Well done, thank you!

Lame and overpriced tacos. Waited over an hour to receive the wrong order. After alerting the server, nothing was done to correct or comp. Beers were decent, food is a mess.

Beer selection was slightly smaller but what they had was good and the food was exceptionally good. Staff were nice and the space is pretty cool. Definitely recommend the soups! The salsas are all great too.

Every time I go to Neighborhood Brewing I know that I will have consistently good food and amazing service. The atmosphere is fun and light - lots of options on the menu for all tastes. New beers and seltzers to try frequently. Love this space. One of my favorite spots to have a drink and snack with friends.

Modern location, very nice staff, delicious local beer and really good Mexican food!

The place is great! Good music, great menu/beer options to choose from, love this place! The food is authentic and the portions are good, yes it is a little pricy but all the flavors were on point (so goooooood) and everything is served with a tray of delicious, homemade I want to say, sauces which you can choose to add some spice to your meal - beers are super good - Service is a little slak but not terrible. Go, eat, drink, repeat!!

As soon as my partner and I walked in we were greeted with immediate stares. My partner received a drink and we ordered food but we re not once asked about our meal and had to ask about what sauces we received and did not receive refills . My partner received A drink and asked about it but unfortunately the waitress (dressed as a clown) had a snarky response and did not know about the drink asked for. Food came out quick and the man behind the bar was quick to retrieve our bills, but as head staff at a brewery, we were unimpressed about the lack of knowledge of drinks on tap as well as common courtesy as an establishment. We were so excited to try but will give 2/5 stars.

Was not impressed. Taco salad was to have iceberg lettuce it was some kind of spring mix, the cheese -we couldnt find it. Soggy and probably one of the worst meals we have had. Also weird not to have sour cream with Mexican cuisine.

Wish our experience was better, but our server wasnt attentive (it was a slow night) and our food wasnt impressive at all. Weve definitely had higher quality food with better portion sizes at other local restaurants without paying what we did. We know better to avoid this place for next time.

The burritos are comically small for the price

I am a food and beverage veteran. I find the bar tending service here lacking. I am mostly ignored as a woman until my glass is empty. There is zero conversation or interaction with the bartender. Very disappointing service at the wood.

Mexican style food. Great beers and cider. Great service!
