Stillfood Bistro & Cappuccino Bar in Penticton

We stopped by in the morning whilst walking past. The coffee was fantastic!! They make their own roast, imported beans from a 9th generation sustainable farmer. Atmosphere was lovely and the owner was friendly and engaging. Had a great coffee, great chat. Highly recommended.

Had our first Stillfood experience today. Wont be our last. We had the Pad Thai and the falafel wrap. Both were excellent and good portion sizes. Lots of GF options for my wife. The staff were very friendly and fun. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fun vegan joint with lots of options.

Its not obvious at first, but the entire menu is vegan. We only tried the scone and GF cinnamon roll with coffee and both were good. The entrees looked so good, Im sure you wouldnt miss the meat. Vegetarian options: All entrees are vegan and also suitable for vegetarians Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available. Kid-friendliness: There were lots of families with toddlers and staff seemed very comfortable with the wee ones wandering around. They even hosted Santa!

Visited yesterday for brunch having read all the amazing reviews. The eggs beny are as good as everyone makes out! It was busy but there were a couple of tables free. Service was cheerful and prompt. Will visit again next time were in Penticton.

Exceptionally good food, great drinks, good atmosphere and decor, and the service was great even when busy. The seating is spacious enough, good accommodation for kids (the menu didnt mention kids sized meals but they offered them). I cannot stress how good the chikn and waffles were. Best vegan food Ive ever had, everyone should try that chikn! One nitpick, I found the waffles a little too dense and extremely sweet, but the rest made up for it. Love the paintings Kid-friendliness: Good for kids, they offered kids versions of dishes on the menu when we went. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor and lots of room.

Absolutely outstanding food and service. We booked a wedding brunch for our friends and were blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly service. Food was so delicious even our hardcore meatatarians were impressed. We especially loved the eggs benny. Highly recommend Stillfood! An absolute gem!

My wife and I had one of the best brunch experiences of our lives at Stillfood this morning! The food was phenomenal, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the prices were more than reasonable given the quality of food and service. I would highly recommend Stillfood for any foodie looking for a unique dining experience! Their vegan eggs benny was the best I ve ever had (including non-vegan versions)!

A first for me. While visiting and walking around Penticton, we came across this place. Looked at the menu and wasn t sure about it. I asked if I could just get some eggs and toast, Tyson said no problem I ll fix you a plate. The food was delicious and I never knew plant food could be so good. Eggs were yum yum and the bread was fresh baked sourdough by Tyson himself. Stillfood is a great, welcoming, and understanding bistro. It was my first time trying and I will be back next time I visit.

Best vegan brunch I have ever had! Vegan Benny with lox. Superb hollandaise sauce, so well seasoned. Yummy eggs. Great crispy hashbrowns with flavorful greens.And the baked goods looked so delish but I must admit I was stuffed so declined.

I love stillfood! I just wish it had opened up before i had to go gluten free. They do have some options but all the amazing bakery items and pizza look so good it pains me i cant eat them. However the gluten free Philly cheezesteak and lemon cupcake are to die for (luckily no one else has to for the food here) :)

This place is amazing. We came back three meals in a row! We loved the Dirty Chai, cinnamon rolls and Eggs Benny. All of it was amazing and service was super friendly.

Such a great place for coffee/tea and bakery items. As someone who cannot have dairy, it is really difficult to be able to have a treat here and there. They have amazing chocolate chip cookies, donuts and cinnamon buns. I frequently go back specifically for the cinnamon buns, unfortunately they are frequently sold out, so try to go early.

I hate to place negative reviews, so my apologies. To sum up, for any vegans who are seeking vegan food or coffee, this doesnt apply to you. For non vegans THIS PLACE IS VEGAN. Im a tourist taking a walk around town and yearning for a good, local coffee from an independent cafe. I see a bold, COFFEE sign on the side of a building with a nice looking patio out front. check. I enter a nicely designed space with good looking treats. check again. All signs are pointing towards this being a good place for my daily coffee treat. I ordered a, Large Americano, with an extra shot and plenty of room for cream. After paying I was served an Americano with Oat Milk. I thought I must have mumbled and somewhere in the interaction the server must have heard, Oat Milk. I mentioned to the server that I think there was a mistake. I had asked for, Plenty of room for cream. I was told the establishment doesnt serve animal products and I got the impression the server knew exactly what I thought I was going to get (after all, room for cream is pretty unambiguous as nobody refers to soy milk, almond milk, oat milk as cream). So, after a long walk back to my hotel sipping a fraction of this slightly too hot, slightly too weak, wrong flavor coffee I will venture out again in search of a good, strong Americano with Cow Teet Cream.

First off this place is amazing. The food is great. The staff are great. The vibe is perfect. This place looks like it should be in downtown manhattan. The thing Im most excited to talk about is the coffee. They have the best coffee Ive ever had. Whether youre grabbing a coffee in the restaurant, or to-go, or a bag of beans. The quality and taste is always there.

Tried out this vegan restaurant in Penticton and it didnt disappoint! We got the Pad Thai, smashed burger, and wings. Everything had lots of flavour and came out hot and fresh. I feel they may have been understaffed or not prepared for the amount of people in the restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes before we even got a menu brought to us. The server was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions.

So nice to have found a fully plant based restaurant. We pretty much ate every meal here and loved every mouthful. 100% recommend. Great place to recharge and very friendly people who obviously love working here.

Nice place, just off the main roads on a quiet street shaded by trees. They have a good selection of pastries if you want a drink and a snack.

OK. My mind is BLOWN. I am NOT vegan or vegetarian. I must say I really love meat in my diet. Having said that, I have had some good vegan desserts, etc. THIS experience, however, took things to a Whole. Nother. Level. Lol We ordered the tuna toast and the avocado toast, and tacos. If someone had taken me here and hadnt told me that I wasnt eating tuna or beef, I wouldnt have had a CLUE. Not only did the tuna toast taste EXACTLY like tuna, (taste,texture appearance, everything), it was DEEEEELICIOUS! Great coffee too! This food is made with love and SKILL. Well done. Well definitely be back! Now Im curious about the egg breakfasts/bennies.. and well I need to try everything now.

Oh. My. Gosh. Do not sleep on this place!! Were from up north, here on vacation and were searching for a good coffee place. Found this place on Google, saw the good star rating and went in. Got an iced vanilla london fog, an iced caramel macchiato, some pizza buns and a strawberry stuffed croissant. Bought more croissants for our hotel. Then realized after looking at their dinner menu that its all vegan??? AMAZING, you had us fooled. Will definitely be returning whenever were in Penticton!

Mind blowing cuisine, pastries and coffee. We had the Pacific & Mushroom Benedicts, chocolate croissant with strawberry whipped cream filling (next level) and cinnamon roll. We re huge fans of the similar Cafe Flora in Seattle and I must say, Stillfood is better in every respect. To pull off the high level techniques consistently like they do here is remarkable. Don t miss Stillfood!!

Honestly the best vegan food Ive had for many, many years! So impressed by the eggs Benny. The fact that the yolk opens up and pours out runny is so wild. The taste was better than most real Bennys Ive had in recent memory. Will be back!

We have eaten here several times. They need to identify on their menu which products contain nuts. We were clear about food allergies to our server. Who puts nuts in hollandaise sauce and doesnt identify it on the menu. Unfortunately we can no longer return to eat here unless the menu identifies allergens for nuts, soya etc. Had we known there were nut products in the hollandaise sauce we would have eaten elsewhere. My daughter has been extremely ill despite antihistamines and it has put a huge black mark on our weekend.

Coffee, matcha and baked goods all far better than Starbucks. They serve meals too. Theres no need to go anywhere else.

I ve stopped here for coffee and excellent stuffed croissants and doughnuts, but this was the first time for breakfast. I had the plant-based Chick n & Waffles, my wife had the Mushroom Toast. Both were excellent, the flavours and texture were spot on . We re not vegan, but these dishes were excellent and can be enjoyed as good food by non- vegans on merit. Only on this third visit have I realised that they use oat milk for their cappuccinos, so good is the quality and taste of their ingredients. We ll be visiting again soon to try the plant-based eggs.

Fantastic place to eat with celiac disease, the owners are absolute legends and always take celiac disease very seriously. The food is phenomenal, I try and go there as much as I can to support them as everything I ve ever eaten has always been delicious and I have not had any symptoms eating at their restaurant. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you have celiac disease or not!

Wasnt sure if I would like the food when i saw the menu but wow was it good. Everything was perfectly cooked. I had the delicious breakfast Sammy and a cappuccino. Service was piye and efficient. Lovely art work in the walls and clean washrooms.

Update! I returned for a second & third time and decided to try brunch on the third visit. This place was absolutely packed and the service was great and the food!!! I aint no vegan but I will now be a regular while in town. Hands down the best coffee & lattes in Penticton dont sleep on this spot.

I LOVE this place. It has AMAZING food! And shout out to Jeddah, she is a great server, good communication skills, polite and so sweet. I fall in love with your food everytime I come in here. Absolute gem! We ordered way too much but we ate it all! Just had to try it. Great location in the historic Front Street / Lakeshore (east end of the strip), surrounded by brick buildings on a quiet street, with a nice patio in the warmer weather. Fully accessible including the washrooms. Vegetarian options: Full vegan and vegetarian menu Parking: parking is free on sundays and very cheap and easy the rests of the time.

My brother had the Pad Thai & it was delicious. I had the mushroom Benny & was not happy as they ve used lots of nooch which I very much dislike & they don t mention on the menu. Also, the potatoes were very dry. I will go back as everything else was just lovely & will try other items. I also thought that I should have been given a discount as I didn t eat much at all except the salad which was tasty.

Ive eaten here numerous times now and have never been disappointed. Today I needed a quick lunch between meetings. We had brunch here and the food is fantastic! I had their chikun Caesar wrap with potato salad. Chikun in ceasar wrap had great flavor and texture. Potato salad was crunchy and delicious! Hubby had the chikun & waffles! Yum! Will be going back again!

We are always excited to dine homemade quality vegan food. Although the prices are at the higher end, the ingredients, tastiness and servings are plentiful. We enjoyed the falafel wrap and potato salad, the taco bowl and the tomato soup which came with buttered bread. We wish them well in Penticton and their Salmon Arm locations.

Best cappuccino in town

A new face on Front Street, and a welcome addition to the coffee bistro scene. Coffee is from Tug 6, coffee machine is top of the line and the Barista has serious skills. Vegan restaurant is quickly finding its legs, and the coffee bar is leading right out of the gate. World class cappuccino!

My visit here was lovely. I brought my non-vegan family here and they loved it as well. Wouldn t have noticed if I hadn t mentioned it. Absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. What an amazing find! 100% plant based menu. Had a dish with one of their Still Eggs (something they make in house) and actually had to ask if it was vegan as it was unbelievably realistic. Will certainly go back next time I m in Penticton.

I had a chicken burger (vegan, of course) topped with lots of fresh veg and a fresh leafy green salad on the side. All presented nicely and tasted great. The staff very friendly and attentive. We sat in the bright window - too chilly today to eat outside and preferred to the lower lights of the remaining seating. I enjoyed the variety of options and was impressed with the portions. The cost of each meal is very reasonable. I would go again and highly recommend this establishment. Im a part-time vegetarian. Always amazing food, deserts, pastries and coffee as well. The employees and owners of this place care about the customers and about the food, I love the food, the people and the atmosphere. We love to sit outside, we do find inside gets our clothes smelling like a grill but the food is amazing!

I was very excited to try out this new restaurant in Penticton. As a vegan with celiac disease, my options are typically very limited, so when a vegan restaurant moves in with gluten-free options, one gets excited! I ordered the falafel wrap, however asked for the gluten-free option , making the assumption I would get the falafel wrap, but in a gluten-free wrap. I feel like that was a safe assumption to make given that it was listed under the heading of wraps and sannys . What I got instead was a falafel salad. I have to admit that I do not like salads, so I would never order one, which is why I didn t order one! I don t feel that a restaurant can advertise a falafel wrap as gluten-free when that means a salad. Especially when there is no mention of that on the menu. I was very disappointed in my meal. Especially since my salad ended up costing me $17! Dietary restrictions: In terms of dietary restrictions, they offer Gluten-free options , however the gluten-free options are only salads. As someone with celiac disease, it s kind of disappointing when gluten-free turns out to be a salad. Especially when that isn t indicated on the menu.

Ok Im 2 for 2 on amazing food from this place. I ordered 2 days in a row because the first one was so good. So delicious! I got the avoid toast, yum. And the Dan Dan bowl, so yummy with a kick of spice.

The ambiance was beautiful with dim lighting and elegant decor. The menu was diverse, and we were delighted to find vegetarian options, which catered to our dietary needs. The entrees we ordered were cooked to perfection and plated beautifully.
