Charming family dining room and large patio overlooking Okanagan Lake. Classic breakfast menu, Starbucks coffee & fresh-baked takeaway delights!
The patio, service, and food was delicious. If gas wasn't so expensive I would drive from Kelowna just to have breakfast here!
Food and service is fine. But they serve their water and other drinks in PLASTIC CUPS saying it's their policy. Seriously? In 2024, they're still using single-use plastic cups?
The cappuccinos were very good. Our meals were also good. The service was prompt.
The Classic Benny with tomatoes and avocado is particularly good. They also serve Starbucks coffee.
Decent place for breakfast. Convenient that it’s at the hotel we’re staying at. If you skip the room cleaning, you can get a $15 voucher towards a meal. Opens at 7. If you go earlier, a little less chaotic.
Did not respect the price announced for kids buffet. Waiter mentioned the brunch for kids at $10.95 but on the bill it was $16.95 each. When we asked why they told us that it was that price before but it went up now. So it is an extra $12 plus taxes and tips to pay for 2 kids after the facts. By law when a price is set up front the merchant must respect it, even if this was a mistake. We paid it but we are not feeling respected. In addition I had to eat after everyone because my plate was taking so long to come and the quality of food was not as expected. We were planning to eat there more times during our stay at the hotel, but not anymore.
Waited at the door for 20 minutes to be seated, despite only a handful of tables occupied. Tea came in a cracked pot that leaked everywhere. When I asked for another they brought a pot of hot water and transfered the tea bag. I ordered the Benny with caramelized onions and asparagus medium poached. 30 minutes later it arrived. I think the eggs must have been quail eggs as they were tiny little rock hard bullets on the muffin with a (thankfully) small drop of hollandaise. Cayenne pepper instead of paprika. Blew out my taste buds. The asparagus was raw and boiled not caramelized onions. I didn't even bother to try the greasy hash browns. Save your morning and $25 by going to MacDonalds.
I attended a friends 11th wedding anniversary celebration here June 18, 2022. What was suppose to be a day of celebration turned south fairly quickly. Things to bare in mind when reading the below issues. - It was $5000 to book this space. - The contract states we had use of the space until 12 midnight. There was only one bar staff made available to serve drinks for the event and with 60 guests that's not enough staff to allow everyone to get a beverage in a timely matter. Food was provided and there were tacos and salad served. There wasn't enough food for everyone to be fully satisfied and the taco shells were stale. No staff was provided to bus tables and clear glasses and plates. Some of our guests volunteered to take the plastic dish bins and clear tables. From there the night continued on until around 11pm when Carol, one of the staff members, took it upon herself to lock the patio door which locked out a major of the party guests. When confronted she said the contract stated we only had the space until 11pm which was completely false. She also started blaming our guests for smoking outside however not one of our guests smoked and it was from an earlier funeral that was held in the room next door. Unprofessional and emotionally unstable is the only way I can explain how Caroll was acting. She should really reconsider her career in any and all hospitality service. All in all the event was soured by the food and terrible service. I highly recommend you look for another venue as you'll be very disappointed.
I had a great breakfast here.
Our server was wonderful but our food was very poorly cooked. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.
Very friendly staff on. I had breakfast. I was a bit hungover and tired, waitress helped me put together omlet that wasnt on menu. Food was cooked perfectly. Everything was clean. Prices high, but thats true of everywhere
The food is good, great scenery, service is fast and friendly. The coffee is good black. Prices are high but the portions are good too. Food
Excellent all around!
The potatoes and waffles were cold and I couldnt find the price of the buffet on any of the five sites I tried probably because its $25 for basically a continental self serve breakfast left no tip and wont be back
Delicious brunch and coffee. Excellent service in spite of staff members being very busy. Pretty view, too.
Best spot in Penticton for breakfast.
Went for brunch today. The service and staff were great but the food was a huge disappointment, especially for what you re paying. They advertise a la carte and nope, there is none. They charge you a lump sum for the buffet but the coffee is extra (not a big deal but they don t tell you till you get the bill) A restaurant should make you want to change your plans for the next time because you want to return, it made us change our plans alright, we were going to go back tomorrow and I am Not coming back!!!
Ridiculous price for this buffet. $75 for a family of four. No coffee included. Food is below average and options are super limited. Servers were nice. Do not recommend.
Food is ok ...had the breakfast Buffett. To many people running around. Due to shortages
Delicious!
Really lovely servers, gorgeous views, wonderful dining area. The breakfast buffet is pretty good but sometimes inconsistent.
We stayed for an office party and came down for breakfast. Service was lovely... until the bill came. Nowhere did it tell us the breakfast buffet was $21 each. To have a surprise fifty dollar breakfast was unpleasant. Especially when its the same type of breakfast served free in other hotels.
The buffet is disgusting. Its powdered eggs
Great breakfast
Great place
We were sweating in our seats the entire time. The food was mediocre - particularly the cheesecake for dessert. This has no flavor and the crust was so hard you had to stab through it and it felt like youd break the plate in the process. The staff was very attentive though and tried their best to correct the heat by contacting maintenance
Ha¡! No even close to those pictures ¡! I have to give credit to the guy who serve us, they didnt have any of the drinks we ask for, after me insiste to try to get them ..he did¡!! The food menú was to poor as well
The outdoor patio and view was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was good too.
The service was wonderful and the staff was friendly, but the food was overpriced and downright awful. For the quality of food, it should have been half the price. I would never eat there again unfortunately.
Beautiful atmosphere but food was just OK....nothing fancy. Empty place ....had to ask for 2nd coffee. Pricey and minimal service.
Went there for brunch today. 3 of 4 said food was ok & the vegan meal was awful. The atmosphere was nice.
Staying at the Lakeside hotel and ordered two pizzas to pick up when we opened the boxes we saw that they were both burned my ham pizza with pineapple was sparsely topped and was very bland in taste how disappointing.
Had my wedding here (May 2019). Nice intimate place, beautiful setting. Jamie was amazing with helping me with everything. Had a great time! Perfect for around 60-70 people and extra space for a dance floor. Food was delicious, perfect people pleaser!
We went for their high tea. Biggest rip off of the century. 4 people. 25 dollars each and they didnt even provide enough for every people to try a one of each item. . Avoid this place like the plague. If I could. Give this a zero, I would. Utter and complete trash.
Appetizer took at least an hour to arrive with another half for the full bland meal. Worst place Ive ever eaten, food is just utter trash . Place was basically empty and still theres a ridiculous wait . Never again
Excellent food. Service was great. View is awesome! Would definitely recommend it!
Ive been here once before as we had booked for our company staff Christmas Party years before. Atmosphere was nice with a good pianist. Was very busy when we went in with people having drinks. The menu looked reasonably priced, we planned to order a bunch of appies and drinks. our first drinks took about 20 minutes to come. When they finally did, we ordered three appetizers. They came out within an hour and were cold. Our 5 little Crustinis were like crackers, Calamari was like hunks of rubber and the meatball sliders were dried out..thank goodness for the huge side of lemon mayo to get them down. We were so hungry when it came we couldnt help but just keep quiet and ate.
Dont order the antipasto plate unless you know exactly what is on it and what proportion. It has 2 pieces of cheese (blue and goat), very little meat, a bit of salad garnish, and well over half of it is pickles. For $17 this just wasnt worth it. Also had the chicken wings which I would not recommend. I dont know what was wrong with them, they just tasted....old. The only good part were the fries and aioli sauce.
