Normal Mcdonalds food, standard. Atmosphere not great (no fault of the staff) due to transient activity in the area.

Sometimes they don t have something like my sweet n sour sauce or ice and I won t eat my chicken nuggets or drink my root beer with out it :( I mean I won t waste it so I ll eat it but it s super disappointing and ruins the rest of the day.

Run down and dirty, but its the cheap food of the commoner I guess. Its a shame that every single employee is a new Canadian though. Food

Worst experience every time I go to McDonald s in Penticton almost 8/10 times the order is wrong and when I go back nobody can understand me or when the order is correct the food is burnt or raw this place needs help

This McDonalds is the worst I have ever experienced I order once a week to get breakfast they make me pull ahead and wait for 15 min while they serve the next 20 cars and they mess it up Everytime Im not even exaggerating and when I called to complain today the manager broke down crying like a child so I get why this place is such a screw up they have a crying child running this place if there was another McDonalds in town I would never eat here again

Im a regular coffee customer, but the last 4 times Ive pulled in for a quick meal, Ive waited 7-10 minutes for a HAMBURGER! Last I checked, hamburgers arent some specialty item. Its not Duck Lorange, FFS ...Its a burger. And by the time they walked it out, its cold!!! The manager should be fired here. I may call and start the process by writing McDonalds corporate.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MCDONALDS??? We went because there was no lineup...I thought they were closed. I havent been to a Mickey Dees in years. $50 for 3 meals??? The medium drinks were the size of the old large, the large were like the old 7-11 big gulps... All 3 of us felt physically sick afterwards. The fries were rubbery and gross, the big macs had the tiniest little circles of meat. The syrup mix on the drinks was WAY off. It was, and I kid you not, one of the worst junk meals Ive had in my entire life. I used to work at one of these, the oldest one in Canada as a matter of fact, as did my wife, we were both blown away by just how bad this was. The employees were gross looking, the food was gross looking, the bill was gross looking, and the food was GROSS. If McDonalds is reading this and tries to put a oh gosh please contact customer support so we can rectify this SAVE IT. You know what your stores have become. Just go out of business, because 100% I know why there was no lineup at dinner time on a long weekend now. NEVER AGAIN.

Been to this McDonald s about 10 times over the years. I ve had to pull into the waiting zone at the end of the drive thru for up to 10 minutes every single time, even when ordering just one item. Not sure how a fast food place can get it so wrong

I used the drive through twice while on vacation. This has to be the worst McDonald s I ve ever been to. both times I was parked and waited 10 mins the first time the second time was 20 mins. People parked after me left before me. All I got was we forgot to make your order I m sorry. What a mess of a McDonald s.

Not usually leave review but this is outrageous.We ordered junior chicken, poutine and fries with a drink and side of habanero and sweet savour sauce. Bad luck that didn t check it when we were at the store when got home totally disappointed with the food service. Fries cold and soggy, poutine not even half filled and missing sauces that we paid for. This is not the first time we encountered this last time got a junior sweet chilli chicken burger bottom bun was missing just the top bun with lettuce and patty was wrapped in. So disappointing.

I am very disappointed with the behavior of the manager and assistant manager towards DoorDash delivery drivers. They are consistently rude and unprofessional. In my extensive experience delivering hundreds of orders, this store has never once had an order ready on time. Every single order has been delayed. As a result, we consistently lose valuable delivery time because the minimum wait at this store is always at least 10 minutes. These delays negatively impact our delivery ratings as we are unable to deliver on time. When we request them to hurry up, they respond with a lot of attitude and dismissively tell us to complain to whoever we want, showing they simply do not care. They rudely insist that they cannot give orders faster and claim they are doing their best, which is clearly not true given the consistent delays. Particularly, they also scare me by saying they will block me from deliveries if I ask them to give orders earlier, which impacts my earnings. It feels like they are trying to intimidate me, saying things like we ll block you and see how you earn money.

Im not sure McDonalds is ever good, but its cheap so we go sometimes. Usually the food is fine for what it is, every once in a while you somehow roll the bad luck of the rotten lettuce bag, or the really careless assembly, but generally its edible. The fries are usually good, the coffee is fine. What gets me is the fountain drinks. Like every 2nd time we go, they are super messed up taste like every flavor combined, flat but still kind of fizzy, and make us sick. Today we ordered a coke and an iced tea and they were marked different on the cups, handed to us individually and told which one was which- and they were indistinguishable from each other when we drank them . Both disgusting, couldnt finish them. Half the reason we went is the cheap large drinks. Disappointing for sure.

Incredibly disappointing services . Not sure whats so hard about making coffee but I went for 2 and got charged double after being told I only paid for one. I also blatantly told them they screwed up and they looked at me like I was from mars and did not comprehend anything. The coffee it was blan as heck. Yeah its just coffee but everything is expensive now adays and I want what I paid / worked for. You think a multi billion dollar company could train workers properly. Not impressed and pretty lame .

Why dont I read? It cant be as bad as the 1 stars make it sound. It was and continues to disappoint. Could have been having a bad day it happens. Months later, continue to disappoint. I would highly recommend driving to the nearest Dennys over McDonalds.

I dont even know what to say. I ordered for myself and this is the third time in a row they messed up my order. I ordered two breakfast chicken sandwiches and a hashbrown and they forgot the hashbrown again. Nobody else in the drive through when I arrived and nobody behind me. The other time they gave me what must of been a triple triple coffee or double double when I wanted a regular or single single. Probably for the best I never go again. Just seems ridiculous they cant even get one persons order right and I hate writing negative reviews. I cant imagine how many mistakes are made if they have trouble with one person three times in a row. Brutal.

I was broken down outside in the parking lot during the summer waiting for a tow truck wasnt even there more than 1 hour , and the Owner / Franchisee of this location came out and told me to get off the property and accused me of pan handling , she was Judgmental on My ole 1980s RV , The owner / Franchisee is very rude and should be ashamed of herself !( older ladies late 50s to early 70s )

This has got to be the worst McDonald s I ve ever been to. The manager is an absolute idiot, they don t allow refills, you can only sit there for 30 minutes, and they make you pay extra for mcchicken sauce. I ve never been to a McDonald s in my life with ridiculous rules like this one. I spend 40 dollars and you want to charge me extra for mcchicken sauce. Go pound sand how about that

Tried the waffle fries. Fail. Felt as though I would chip a tooth when I took a bite! I am not sure if they were intended to be hard as rock. Service was acceptable and cordial.

Food is always very bland and not to usual McDonalds standards but the biggest frustration is the drive thru. We have yet to receive what we actually ordered, usually have to repeat the order several times, so not going to return to this location

This is the worst McDonalds Ive ever been to. I dont know why I go back. In 15 years of living in Penticton, my order has never been correct. Not at the counter nor through the drive through. The staff are either ill trained or simply have no pride in their job. And yes I know its just McDonalds but if you are payed to do a job, then you are obligated to do it correctly. If you decide to waste your money at this location I guarantee that your order will be wrong or your food will be just slapped and slopped together with no regard as to your enjoyment of the food. McDonalds Penticton, please know that you are horribly incompetent, without reasonable common sense to complete even the simplest of tasks, and you run a seriously embarrassing establishment. The employees consistently get my burger order wrong, idk how hard it is to miss the instructions when it s written on the box but the past four times I ve been there they ve messed up my order.

This mcdonalds is always busy, and the staff are always cheerful and happy. Seriously the busiest mcdonalds Ive seen. My only advice is I see staff wiping pants. Touching body and face with hands and then building burgers. I wish B.C. had glove use for ready to eat foods. I see no one wearing gloves and I seriously hope staff take their hand washing seriously.

The staff are super friendly and theyve come a long way over the last few years in regards to timing and special orders. Though its not perfect. But it honestly seems like very few of them care about the state of the food when it leaves the restaurant. For one example, Im really tired of paying extra to upgrade to poutine and getting fries with a splash of gravy. If thats the way you are going to serve it, then dont charge extra for it.

Kid-friendliness: Nice play area has finally reopened. But washrooms are kept locked so it can take upwards of 15 minutes to get into them so be aware.

Great food, I order 40 nuggets to enjoy as I live far from a McDonalds. Was prepared faster than any Kelowna franchise at lunch rush. I received expired product from this location, pretty bad considering the date and times are posted on the stickers left on the outside of the packaging. After I received my order I had noticed that the sticker a enjoy by time of three hours prior to the time it actually was. Extremely disappointed and concerned for how many other times this has happened with other items including the one I had. Not only that but who would feel good about serving product to customers that should no longer be in any kind of warmer and why is this even happening in the first place

Got ripped off on the habanero chicken burger, very disappointed

I dont go to McDonalds often and now it will be even less. Ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese and the tastiest part of the burger was the one pickle on it. The wife ordered a McChicken sandwich and I am not sure what that was between the buns - sure didnt look like chicken. I will say that the service was very fast and maybe that is the problem, too fast for decent quality. I have definitely had better burgers at any other fast food chain.

She goes and puts it on one order after I just explained no and asked her okay so two seperate orders cause you re putting it on one she ignored me and asked what else . I repeated my self and she said we cannot make 2 seperate orders I m very sorry I went home , I took my ebike that is considered a vehicle on the road as it s registered . Said she couldn t serve me as I m not a car , I asked if she could this one time im usually in a car , I just want burritos and noones here , she continues to explain how she can t serve me so I asked what time she s open and she ignored me . Worst customer service ever

3 cars went ahead of me at the drive thru when I was there before any of them. No one was present at the first drive thru speaker. Long line up. Burning gas for 25 minutes for nothing. Drive thru engine idling trap; bumper to bumper. Never again. Absolutely ridiculous.

My wrap doesnt even look appetizing, every single time Ive gone to this location Ive been served food in the most slapped together way. I was a manager at mc donalds for 5 years and I at least had standards for what left the kitchen. I understand that its a mc donalds and its fast food but come on! Youre getting paid to be there at least try to do a good job. I shouldnt be paying 8$ for a wrap thats ripped and not even wrapped properly.

Once in every three visits throughout the entire calendar year, when ordering from their McCafe menu, instead of the mocha Id order, Id be given instead a rather bitter, and often tasting burnt. Each time the staff never seemed to care that in order to fix the issue, Id have to turn around and drive back, wasting my time just to get a proper drink. Having happened once again this morning for what is easily the tenth (or more) time this year, I have decided to swear off this location entirely going forward. Money and time are simply much better spent elsewhere.

They claim to do offers nationally but today was national cheeseburger day and they claimed to give out free double cheeseburgers with the app but no. Burger King is doing a offer on this day no reason McDonalds shouldnt.

If you work the night shift near by and dont have a vehicle youll be refused service.

Please please make sure drive through knows the difference between hot chocolate and mocha. I hate coffee and this is the third time in three weeks I ve gotten mocha instead of hot chocolate.

Even though I had given and presented my code, my bank account was charged and even after informing the general manager that my payment was already approved. I even showed the GM my Mobile banking statement. I was told I must pay for my order , of course with my bank having already spent using the app to order I was carrying no cash. ,,, End result I was never reimbursed for the meal and was not given any courtesy common sense or even the opportunity to explain what had happened
