So cozy, big portions, slightly fancy place, delicious comfort food.

Just had two awesome lasagnas at Gusto. One meat and one seafood... both killer!! Rich, cheesy, buttery, and hot. Kinda like my wife! The servers there are all uber efficient and super friendly. Made a couple of newbies to Penticton feel like family. Thanks, Lucky and Sista-C-notta-K!!!

We spontaneously got a place on Saturday evening. The service was very good and extremely friendly. The daily special (lasagna) was very tasty, the spaghetti carbonara was okay. The bacon was fried rather too crispy. The music in the background was very loud and therefore not in the background ;)

Amazing food and friendly staff .

I went to this restaurant last night with my partner. We had a reservation and we were anticipating a great experience, and food, at a local eatery. Instead, we were very disappointed. Ive never written a negative review before, but feel compelled to share our experience. They had almost all their wines crossed off the list and we had half a ltr of box wine. It took 15 minutes to bring us our wine (there were 12 -15 other customers there) and our pizza arrived before we could even pour our wine. The pizza was mediocre. The waitress spent her time at a table- with customers she seemed to know, talking about her other jobs, taxes in BC etc, failing to ask how our dining experience/food, etc was. We left disappointed, and will not return.

Wonderful authentic Italian pizza! Could we fault them for adding so many toppings...? Nah, I dont think so Good value, better pizza! Being thin crust, takeout may need some more time in the oven to crisp up enough again. In restaurant, it looks perfect.

I have never eaten such a delicious pizza in my life, there is only one big problem, after eating this pizza, I cant eat pizza anywhere else.

We spent a week driving through British Columbia, and our family thought that our dinner at Gusto Ferrari was by far our most enjoyable of the trip. Authentic food, friendly service, casual atmosphere and reasonable pricing and portions. We had the Impepata Di Cozze E Vongole, Salsiccia E Funghi, La Siciliana and Crab & Shrimp Ravioli. We look forward to stopping in again!

Had the meat lasagna which was less than inspiring. Seemed to be cheese sauce layered with lasagna noodles. I did not really see any meat. Did not really agree with me as it went zipping right through.

I went to Italy 2 years ago with my wife and her parents and her sister and husband. I am 49 yrs old and born and raised in Canada. I knew that I was going to experience REAL Italian food because all of our friends that had been to Italy previously told us the food was amazing. They were right and it was an incredible time. When we arrived back home in Canada I told my wife I was sad because I couldnt go out to eat and try any Italian food because it couldnt compare to what we had in Italy. Gusto Ferrari was as good or better than anything we ate for the whole 18 days we were in Italy. 100% recommend!!!

I love Italian food and this was delicious. I think their menu was more aligned with the area in Northern Italy where they are from. This was a fantastic experience and I wouldnt hesitate to return fir another meal.

The food at this place is fabulous. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pastas are amazing. I would certainly go back to this place when Im in the area. Highly recommend it if you want a great meal with great service.

Foods great but this was overshadowed by the Owners eldest daughter treating staff terribly during the dining service. Will not be coming back with family or associates based on disrespectful treatment of her own staff.

Fresh ingredients and 100% Italian products! The fresh pasta was amazing the perfect balanced pasta/sauce. I recommend to anyone to come and try the authentic Italian food!! It was our first time here - and it more than met our expectations. Our pastas all tasted very delicious, the staff were super prompt and took care of any of our inquiries. Parking: Parking was manageable. Kid-friendliness: There are kids options available! The staff are also great and very welcoming to the young people.

Always make a reservation. This is the best advice I will give. Everything is made in-house. Sauces, pasta and dough. The hardest thing youll have to do is make your dining decisions. Weve been a dozen times and have never been disappointed with our choices. Except maybe ordering too much. The wine list is the right size but the house red is the best deal and goes perfectly with all your decisions. The staff go out of their way to help and are always there to answer questions. Chef/owner is always non-stop at the pizza oven. But he always finds time to say hello. Penticton is lucky to have Gusto Ferrari

Italy is famous for its pizzas and they have exquisite pizzas from different regions much like the beautiful dialects they have, which is why I love Europe a lot. Man, Gustos pizza was absolutely incredible. It was so delicious, I felt like I was in Italy! I love how the family speaks Italian with each other and keeping their wonderful culture alive. I also enjoyed their playlist! It is a terrific restaurant and I would recommend it to everyone!

Best Italian food iv ever had! The food is amazing and authentic! They treat you like family! Everyone is a regular! The ambience is perfect almost as good as the food! This is definitely a must! One of my favorite restaurants ive ever been to!

Correction: Delicious pizza done in the Northern Italian style. Our favourite (so far) is the Salsicca E Cipolle (tomato, mozzarella, homemade sausage, onion, spicy olive oil). The spicy olive oil adds a lovely extra kick. :-)

Just adding to Leslies post: The owner fails to mention that after she waited 20 mins for her dinner after we got ours, it was the wrong order. She did not just send it back. My husband had the seafood pasta and it was SO spicy his eyes were watering, he was coughing and had the hiccups. The waitress mentioned that it said spicy on the menu, it did not! My husband can tolerate spicy dishes but this wasnt even edible. We ate there once before and enjoyed it, so will not let this experience stop us from going there again.

The most incredible pizza we have ever eaten.

They fit 11 people (my family and I) last minute in on a Saturday night while I was visiting my parents whom live in town. Not one complaint. Everything from the hospitality to the food to the atmosphere was amazing. Could not have hoped for a better place to spend a Saturday night with my family! I highly recommend and I will be back next time I visit :)

My mother and I came to this nice restaurant yesterday and it was definitely our favourite to visit, normally we don t leave any reviews unless a place is absolutely amazing or absolutely horrible and I m glad to say that this place was great. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned(unlike some other restaurants we visited in Penticton) and the service was very nice as well. We will for sure be back here next time we visit Penticton.

Wow. What an amazing family run restaurant. They helped me surprise my wife and 14 of her friends and family members with one of the best meals any of them have had including me and i come from an Italian family. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were part of their family. The service is amazing and we both wish we lived closer as it for sure would be our go to Italian restaurant. Im Italian and I can say the pizza è buonissima! This is as authentic as it goes. It makes me so happy that the prosciutto they use is the San Daniele one (the best!). The service is excellent too. Both times I went there we were offered limoncello on the house at the end of the meal. And the chef came out to chat with us both times.

You would think with all the rave reviews this would be the place to eat so we did. Family and friends went with the anticipation of wonderful Italian food. Well unfortunately our experience was definitely not a good one. Rude staff who you would think would take small suggestions to heart but only had rude responses to us. Carbonara pasta was horrible. Pasta used was all wrong but apparently if they run out of the right pasta then use whatever s available without telling the customer in advance. Also, menu is very deceitful if you just wanted to order a highball which should not cost the same price as a cocktail but once the bill comes surprise no we read the menu wrong. Normally a good quality restaurant will try to please an upset customer with either a complimentary item or take the item they were dissatisfied with off the bill. Oh but that s not the case here. You have a manager which definitely is not a manager more like a glorified kid come out to argue with you some more and then goes back in the restaurant to yell in Italian to the kitchen most obviously complaining about us. Then as we are leaving one of the most rudest cooks from the kitchen comes out to yell at us in Italian as we leave. Just tells us all we need to know never ever go to this restaurant if you value being treated with respect.

What a place! Had the seafood antipasti, Caesar salad, squid ink clam vongole pasta, and Snake Bite pizza! Every dish was fantastic! Ingredients we re fresh! Food was as authentic Italian as the chef is Italian and did wonders! Food quality, taste and presentation is definitely comparable to some of Vancouver s finest Italian restaurants such as Autostrada, and Tutto! Gusto Ferrari is definitely recommended for folks who want an authentic Italian meal without having to fly to Italy! I m coming back!

Since my visit Ive been there many more times and never have been disappointed. The pasta dishes which also are great and made with fresh ingredients and prepared with love ..This restaurant is family owned and the food is absolutely worth the time to check it out...you wont be disappointed....Snakebit with hot chili oil is my go too..see you all soon .....Ciao for now...... A hidden gem bringing Italy home to you, right in the heart of Penticton! This family run spot only has one area to improve IMHO... open longer and more days! Incredible original dishes served piping hot and full of authentic flavor. The Family Farm to table concept is brilliant. Many of the eggs and ingredients come directly from their own farm nearby. You can close your eyes take a taste and be wisked magically away to Northern Italy from wence they came. Our meals included a 3 Spicy Meats Pizza, seafood pasta medley, a generous lamb shank, and a lovely Caesar salad... all washed down with a smooth Italian house red. Save your airfare and visit Italy right in the heart of the Okanagan! Avoid disappointment! Make a reservation... its crazy busy most nights! Grazie Miele! Buon appetito!

tonight, to celebrate an important event for us, we went to eat here for the first time. we knew we wouldnt be disappointed with the food, but didnt expect it to be SO excellent! the dishes far exceeded our expectations and as we are a family of 7, we were able to taste a wide variety, and everything was PERFECT, fresh, tastefull. All with a most pleasant welcome by the person who served us, and by the owners ! Everyone is exceptional, cant remember the last time we had a welcome like that in a restaurant. We are really gratefull for the welcome we received and the extras. THANK YOU so much. We definitly had a wonderfull evening. We would have given 10 stars on 5 , as our teens said.

We love Gusto! The food is delicious and made with love. The service is warm and they make you feel like family. Flaminio and Roberta are wonderful, hard working and welcoming hosts who truly care about their guests. Grandma is the best too! We are lucky to have this restaurant in Penticton.

The pizza was surprisingly disappointing. The bottoms of the pizza were barely cooked and there is almost no sign of browning or leoparding on the bottom. Also, the pizzas we got had too many toppings on them resulting in a soggy and undercooked top. Given that Trattos is in town and the pizzas at Trattos cost less, I cant see myself ever coming back to Gusto Ferrari for pizza. Maybe we just had a bad batch of Pizzas, but I don t think I will try it again.

If you are looking for delicious and fresh authentic Italian food this is the top eatery in the Okanagan! The food is exactly as you see in the photos posted and oh so tasty. We keep going back for more!

We went for dinner on Saturday evening, we had the most amazing meal! We ordered the Greek Salad that was absolutely delicious!!! We tried the Capriciosa and a vegetarian pizza. The toppings were very generous and lots of cheese. The best pizza I ve had in a long time. We were greeted by the owners Flaminio and Roberta. He s the pizza maker and his wife is the chef. Wonderful service and hospitality! It was a wonderful evening. Definitely will be back!!

A family run and operated Italian restaurant. Mom, dad, and kids all work together to ensure the customer gets the best dining experience. Enjoy traditional Italian dishes and brick oven ready pizza all with fresh ingredients. All home made. The house wine (white) from Italy was delicious. The Caesar salad was delicious. The stuff ravioli was delicious. The Vongole was a tad salty. The margarita pizza was delicious but I would have liked the crust cooked a bit crispier. Over all the atmosphere, staff and Italian owners made it the experience a terrific one. If you are in the area and looking for some good Italian casual dining this is the place. Would I come back? We came back here again a year later and this place is still excellent as ever. I love the personal touch that the owners come out and talk to customers at every table. Best authentic italian pizza here. I lived in Italy for many years and this is the closest you get to traditional italian pizzas and pastas. I will definitely come back if Im visiting again. The owners and their family are very friendly and generous.

This is the second time I ve been here. Again the food was great, but the first time I m sure we had complimentary homemade bread and limoncello shots, which wasn t offered this time. The staff nice, but the service was quite disjointed and inefficient with different people taking orders and serving food that didn t arrive at the same time. I understand that this is a casual setting, but to me, the lighting inside (too white, too bright) makes it feel like a cafeteria. I noticed a beverage fridge (like in a convenience store) sitting against the wall in the dining area and one table had these cheap folding chairs. We opted to sit on the patio which has a much nicer atmosphere. This Italian family-run restaurant has so much potential. With just a little effort, like placemats for the metal tables outside, better lighting and coordinated service, they could make this place a great, classy experience.

We had an excellent meal recently at Gusto Ferrari! The panzanella salad was extraordinary -- a large portion of tiny tomatoes, cucumber, onions and bread in a just-right dressing (not too sour, not too sweet, perfectly flavoured!). My carbonara pasta was also excellent and my husband enjoyed his pizza - no leftovers! The service was very good and our meals were delivered in good time, even though the restaurant was busy and full of diners. I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant if you pass through Penticton. And if you live there, lucky you!

This place is my new favorite. After living in Vancouver for 30 years and dining at dozens of Italian restaurants, finding this gem in Penticton was a blessing. This truly Italian family produces the best Italian pizza and dishes anywhere and at the best prices! Everyone who Ive introduced this place to, from Vancouver to Italy, wants to return when they visit me at my new home in Summerland.

Awesome pizza, awesome homemade pasta (from what I hear). Better than Bad Tattoo and bigger and cheesier than Tratto. Similar tasting crust to Tratto, which is a bit on the sourdough side, and is so delicious, but maybe Gustos is a tiny bit chewier? Which I also like. This is by far my favorite pizza place in town and I am grateful that they are here in Penticton!

Best pizza in town! Real authentic Italian pizza. Tasty toppings, made with love and family run. This little gem is hidden away, but their pizza is likely the best around!

Very welcoming and personable Italian couple run this place....my server was also great. A truly authentic Italian eatery. My lunch was so fresh and tasty....they even served it to me with fresh made bread. Will become a regular at this place for sure. Thanks for a great lunch.

Authentic Italian cuisine shared with great service. Definitely recommend sharing an excellent meal with good company. Owners share their Italian heritage serving up food that makes you feel like you have travelled to Italy to enjoy a meal. Food was super fresh and came out in quick order. A little off the beaten path but so worth the journey. You will want to make this place a staple of your Penticton visit. I know I do. Dont miss out on an authentic Italian experience.

My partner and I agreed that this was the best pizza since we went to Naples, Italy. Honestly never thought I was going to experience the taste/love for Italian pizza in this area, but Im always so pleasantly surprised. Really friendly staff/nice italian family.

Pizza was absolutely delicious. The best Ive had in a long time. Didnt have the chance to try the pasta but from what I could see looked and smelt delicious. Definitely will return.

This is our favourite place in Penticton for true Italian style pizza and pasta. We love the casual atmosphere and the owners are really wonderful. It is a true family run Italian business with the daughters working alongside mom and dad. We love the food and the people!

My new favourite restaurant. Best pizza in town handa down. Best pasta Ive had in ages!! Honestly this is such a gem of a restaurant it needs to be visited. They have something for everyone and the pricing is fair.

The best pizza I have tried in BC. The though tasted amazing and the toppings used were just flawless. I finally felt like somebody understands what quality and what type of ingredients (salami, cheese, ...) need to be put together to create the great taste. It reminded me the best pizzas I have tried in Italy

Extremely authentic Neapolitan style pizza. Just as good as I had in Santa Margherita. This is the real deal. Do not let anyone else try to convince you otherwise. This is the best pizza in penticton and probably all of BC. Loads of quality toppings, crispy chewy crust. Cocktails were great, quirky, and fun - they bring you whatever the chef wants to at random (or you can request stuff too). Salad was great, cannoli was great, and the espresso with liqueur was bold and delightful. Wonderful family run restaurant, its a bit out of the way but definitely worth the trip.

I had the opportunity to visit Penticton again and after a first not-so-good experience, I wanted to give Gusto Ferrari a second try. Thats why I am writing a new post. This is hands down the best pizza I have tried in BC so far. High quality ingredients and the most delicious dough ever. The carbonara, one of my familys favorite, is a little bit on the salty side (probably because of the pancetta?) but was WAY better than on our first visit. We also tried the caprese salad, which was spectacular. On the service side, it might be a little bit disorganized, but this family strive to give really authentic Italian dishes and flavors, and at the same time this place and their people make you feel as if you were at an Italian home... And that is something really hard to find around. Thank you for a great night and keep up the good work.

Amazing home cooked Italian Food. All the food is made in house! Fresh pasta, amazing foaccia, great pizza...the list goes on. The owners are Italian through and through. Truly felt like I had gone back to Italy to hear the owner speaking in Italian with some of his customers.
