Denny's Restaurant in Penticton

I come here all the time but this time was especially good! Me and my girlfriend came in for dinner and had a great time! We had Miwa as our server and she was totally delightful to be around, super amazing service and really friendly. The food was amazing, I got the pot roast melt and she got the chicken tenders and it was super delicious, both of us took it to go and it was a great experience overall!! Definitely recommend for both breakfast and dinner! :) PS : It wont let me rate more than 5 stars on food, service and atmosphere but it totally would be 5 stars if I could!! Parking: Lots of parking! Very easy to find places to park :)

I visited at Denny s with my friend for lunch on Monday afternoon around 1:30pm. We ordered chochonena pancakeslam and classic Benny which so delicious. The service was exceptionally very quick and really good. Parneet Kaur was our server who was dealing very kindly and professionally with us even it was busy time and she is the only server. Overall it was great experience for me . It really made my day. I will definitely recommend to others to visit there at least once and enjoy their food and service.

My family favorite spot in town

Im going through my quasi-villian era otherwise Id probably give this place five stars! Kindly service, comfortable, clean and lovely atmosphere and some of the food is so good. I especially like the steak, tropical smoothie , lumberjack slam, coffee and all the unique seasonal and speciality options that keep it fresh and interesting! Thanks so much Dennys. And I appreciate it very much being open at night for those of us with vampiric schedules. Oh and for those 55+ years old Thursdays between 2pm-10pm is 15% off Parking: Theres even more parking around the back of the building. And also a place to park and lock bikes near the front door which is very nice and not everywhere has this, not even the local bike shop. Very nice Dennys!

Melissa is an amazing server. If she is working always request to be seated in her section. She is warm and personable and always knows what i want to order. She makes me want to keep coming to Dennys

Miwa was very good service for my table and was right on point with my orders and service. Im very pleased she treated my table well. Bharti (Manger) came to check on my table, to make sure everything was good and talk with us about our meal and service. Im very happy to know that they care for our table. Im surely coming back to eat here again in near future.!!!

Ordered lumberjack slam was told they where out of sausage and would be getting 2 extra bacon, I ordered my hashbrowns lite golden brown instead my wifes as well as my hashbrowns were burnt as in inedible then the waitress ask if they were ok and we had to send them back and wait even longer and they werent that busy we was there 1hr13min I didnt understand why the waitress would bring our orders when the hashbrowns were burnt! Very sad!

I recently visited this restaurant and had an exceptional dining experience. Despite being short-staffed with only one server, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent service and quality food(Turkey best). The servers dedication and hard work made our dining experience truly enjoyable.

my wife and I eat at Denny s on a regular basis. Everybody there goes the extra mile to ensure that we have an excellent experience. They remember us. They know us by name. The even remember our favourite choices of food and drink. They have a good sense of humour and work extremely hard at their duties. I would recommend the Penticton Denny s to anybody!

I went here with a group of friends (10 people in total) Dennysgiving and it was truly a night to remember. The manager and service was incredibly helpful and friendly, very accommodating to our large group.

Served tea in a broken teapot missing pieces, hashbrowns cooked only on one side, toast buttered only in the middle and 1 strip of bacon cut into 2 short ends. The only ok thing was properly cooked eggs and a polite waitress. Food

The food was fine. The service provided by Leonor was excellent. She came by numerous times to ask if we needed refills on our coffee and more hot water for the tea. Its the best service weve ever had. Parking: Free parking lot. Lots of spots available.

This was my second time visiting here this year in Penticton. My friends always come here for brunch after a concert prior to driving back to Vernon. Service and staff have been great both times. We will continue this tradition.

Nice atmosphere. Very good service. We were here on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast. It was very good as known at Denny s. Our server was friendly and fast. I can really recommend the berry banana pancake. It s a nice and big Denny s.

I have never been so disgusted in a managers behaviour then have in this establishment. I was made to wait 15 minutes before even being approached by any member of the staff that worked there. Then when I was approached by the manager, ( whom I had no idea was the manager) she took my order (to go) I was asked to sit and wait for another 15 minutes while she seated three more individuals. I didn t said anything and I stood there for 10 minutes while she raised her voice at me and said I asked you to sit and wait. ( The lady behind me raised her eyebrows and mouthed OH MY GOD!) She seated the other individuals. I explained how my husband and I had been in the road for hours and were very tired but she but she did not seem to care ( I used to waitress and would have NEVER treated a customer like this!!)but she dod not seem to care. I had left the restaurant and went elsewhere. I then decided to go back to the restaurant only to express my disappointment in their establishment, to only find out it was the MANAGEMENT that treated us like this!! We had only returned to this establishment because of the kind treatment from one of their waitress s but when when we asked for the manager and found out the individual we were speaking to was the manager) whom excepted no responsibility for her behaviour. I would never ever return to this restaurant and it is very sad because the waitress that had tend to our table last time you were there was absolutely amazing.!!! Trust me it s not worth it. All the staff was so good and cooperative. Food was so good with quality and quantity. Service was best.

Food and service was amazing, environment was fantastic. My partner and I both got the loaded Omelette and they were stuffed with toppings and the cheese pull was super satisfying, tasted amazing. Dennys cheese sticks were awesome, its so cheesy and crispy. Milkshake were also so tasty.

First experience was not good everywhere but i visit dennys first time it was best for me. Food, service, environment everything is perfect. I loved the food and server was so friendly.

Denny s never disappoints for breakfast. Good basic breakfast, hot coffee and great service. We would come back to this location.

I use to live in penticton and I would head over for a breakfast lunch or a dinner it was a wonderful clean establishment great servers and the food was excellent. We were in penticton for 5 days And staying at the sandman. Went in for a dinner And was seated, people behind us were seated, Those people that were seated last got their food before us ,we did not have anything special it was very simple. Next morning I go in for breakfast As I was being seated I walked through something so sticky My foot separated from my thong, My thong was sticking all the way to my table. I heard The waitress tell the manager That they never mop the floor last night, The whole time I was there no one took a mop and wipe it down, This would include the manager that was on board. That evening I came in for dinner and that floor was still sticky. Dennys is one of my favorite Places for comfort food but unfortunately this particular Dennys is an epic fail.

We came in for a family breakfast on August long weekend and it was BUSY! Regan was our server and she did a wonderful job for our table of 7! I have very specific diet restrictions and she was patient and understanding with me! AND we had a 1.5 year old with us, Regan got her meal out quickly and was very attentive! Thanks Regan, you were a pleasure!

I went to Dennys for my second time at this location and such a disappointment! The person to walk us to our table was only highlight of evening! She actually was nice! But the forever wait for our rude non listening waitress Regan, who over charged us, for Dry, unflavored food, and chicken tenders that been left in oil that desperately needs to be changed as all you can taste when you eat it! This waitress did not listen at all to me during my ordering so due to this she massively over charged me and refused to refund me. She over charged me more than 10$ alone over charged just in chicken strips. This waitress has massive negative attitude in for refilling for drinks. We had to constantly keep asking for refills for our beverages and finally after 5th request for One beverage refill and rude facial gestures and her head shaking at us she sent some one to throw us a pop glass refillat us! I have never felt so un comfortable or un welcome in a dead restaurant before! Use caution if coming here! We will not be coming back here! Not bringing our friends and family and our events! Watch your bills closely! If order appies your going to be charged whatever as its bigger bill and the waitress wont let you have it fixed! SCAM!

Always come here post workout for a quick fix, both Regan and Raine are super polite and always provide prompt and speedy service; to the extent that I dont need to say anything, they already know what Im after! Wanted to treat my grandparents to a nice and not too expansive. The food was good and our waitress s Regan and Raine were fantastic they checked on us a lot. Kept us hydrated. Also made great conversation. 5 stars for them!!!!!

I am a regular here and there are a few waiters that definitely go above and beyond! Reagan always goes out of her way to put a smile on your face and is a delight and does not get the recognition she deserves! I always look forward to seeing her when I go in. She is extremely accommodating we have never had a bad experience with her!

We had a family dinner the other night, Regan our server, was helpful and very patient with taking our order. We had several diet concerns and offered suggestions and alternates. The food was great as always and Regan asked us if we needed refills almost every time she passed by.

11 a.m., and the restaurant was dirty. Bathroom unkempt, floors throughout out were obviously not cleaned night before.

Food took over an hour to come, was still cold somehow. Had to ask 3 times for a refill, got the wrong drink. Waiter was rude. Experience made me and the lads MAD. Tell night time crew to get their heads of where ever they keep it.

Ya so,.. my sandwich showed up cold after waiting an hour and 15 mins for it and then the waiter poured water on my friends phone the orange juice was good. Tasted like orange juice. The turkey was definitely not... uh. Well, it just wasnt..... toilet BAD, also. So.. yeea. ..

I had lunch at Dennys recently and was very impressed with the service I received. Kay, my server, was exceptionally friendly and chatty. She seated me promptly. She even took the time to have a conversation with me while I waited for my meal. Vishal, the manager, was also very friendly and professional. We ate at this restaurant at least once a day for a whole week while there in June this year. Laksman was fantastic. Truly outstanding. Our other servers were all excellent. First restaurant that the Bill and the payment machine take me in the middle of my food, they didnt let us finish the food either to my wife or my children. The girls who attend are supremely racist, they didnt let me finish my food, taking the Bill and the machine to pay, very BAD ATTENTION. Food

Liz showed the upmost care and attention to detail in the quality of her service. My commendation does not come lightly and serves as a testament to the excellence she embodied through her service. She went as far as to connect through the exchange of personal anecdotes creating a homely atmosphere that is stable to families of any kind. Kid-friendliness: Liz defended the honour of Denny s, and earned our respect by staying true to the values of this family restaurant, and removing a bothersome teenager from the restaurant who was trying to utilise the male gaze.

The only reason you are give any stars is the waitress was amazing. Greasy food that took an hour and NO bathrooms. Not a place I will even take a homeless dog to. Do better for everyone else but I will never come back

Everything was good, friendly staff in a busy restaurant. Moons over my hammy were pretty light on the ham, however.

Ordered the berry waffle slam as take-out, but they did not include any berries/caramel/whipped cream. Wasnt super impressed considering its called the berry waffle slam.

After a long day in the sun, gardening, we didnt feel like cooking. We decided to run out for a bite. It wasnt busy, or loud, our server, Liz was absolutely lovely, she was great, checked on us regularly and our food was good. Thank you Liz!

Have eaten here 4 times in the last week. Twice we had Liz as our server. She is a delight. Joked around with us and kept up with checking that all was well. Once we came in and we had an Asian girl as our server. The food sat in the window for 15 minutes before she brought us our food. The bacon was as hard as a rock. The food was expected as Dennys restaurants serve the same food everywhere.

Amazing food and ambiance must recommended!

I ordered a double cheeseburger. The burger patties were not seasoned and tasted like they just cooked cheep ground beef. My bun wasnt toasted the fries were also room temperature. The server was a nice older lady but the manager was quiet lazy and just stood around letting the older lady do everything. We also ordered a side of cinnamon hush puppies, when they didnt get cinnamon on them we asked for the cinnamon they just sprinkled a little on top. So we had to get the nice waitress to get the kitchen to do their jobs done correctly. Ive been coming here at least one a year for a while. The food and kitchen quality have went way down.

I have always gotten good food and great service. Coffee any time of the day with WiFi hookup makes a great spot to meet up or to just take a break from road. Stopped in for my birthday and had an excellent meal and excellent service from one of my favorite servers, Merlin....

Hostess makes everyone wanting a table, wait several minutes before actually seating them, even though the booths they get seated in are empty and clean the whole time. Service is OK however the server never came back for refills until we flagged her down. Sausages tasted like they came from the continental breakfast in the hotel. Mens bathroom was disgusting and looked as though it hasnt been cleaned in a long time with fecal matter covering the toilet. Very disappointing experience.

Had a server name Reagan who was amazing. Great attitude and obviously loved her job. Denny s should promote this girl ( she was young) as a supervisor as her attitude would affect every other server and your customers. I will now always have breakfast here when visiting family in Penticton even if Reagan isn t our server as my overall experience was so good ..service and good food made the bill seem more than reasonable even with a $10 tip. Vegetarian options: Loaded veggie omelette was awesome !

I took 20 mins before we were even seen after being seated and people after us (3 groups, had already got their orders out in before we were seen. Wasn t impressed with that at all, as. Thought it was first come first serve as that s how the line up is when you come into the restaurant. Food was salty but the strawberry French toast was delicious. The kids enjoyed their meals aswell.
