We love coming here, especially when our favorite bartender Brendan is working! Always excellent service and he makes fantastic cocktails. He’s also amazing with our 16 month old son when we come for lunch or brunch. Thanks Brendan! See you again soon
October 21, 2024. We dine at @ Earls about every two weeks. Their food is well prepared, and thoughtful presented. we did not give 5 stars because they put way too much salad dressing on. One must ask easy on the dressing or ask for it on the side. On a different note... this is for management. The Windows are so streaked and dirty it makes the atmosphere somewhat less desirable as it has nice views of the mountains which are obscured by the dirty windows. Also, above table 105/1 a Vent grate is in need of cleaning. Earls is our go to restaurant and will continue to visit there, especially at happy hour. Ribs and Cajun Chicken, my favourite.
Great food, great service, restaurant was welcoming and comfortable. Happy hour has some great deals.
A great vibe as Usual! Nelson was our server. He is really chilled and knowledgeable with the menu. Everything was top shelf! Only drawback was the prices have sky rocketed! We came during happy hour so it wasn't as bad as it could have been... Still one of our favorite places.... and probably the nices earls patio we have been to across Canada!
Loved the fact there are vegan options here but thoroughly disappointed with my experiences here and will not be back. About a month ago I ordered a vegan mushroom kale pizza for $26 for pick up, and opened the box to find it completely burnt on the bottom and inedible. We took it back and they made us a new one, but it wasted a good 30-45 mins of our time. I thought it might’ve been a one-time thing, so I decided to give them another try. This time, I ordered tofu lettuce wraps for $18(!) and when I picked it up, the meal came unassembled, and lettuce was clearly unwashed and dirty. It was so unappetizing and honestly atrocious that someone threw some unwashed vegetables in a container with a few small strips of tofu with barely any sauce and considered that a good quality meal. I had to rinse and prep the ingredients myself just to be able to eat it, which defeats the purpose of ordering out. I was starving and didn't have time or patience to drive back a second time and wait for them to remake a meal for me again. Two bad experiences are more than enough.
Despite not being on the water or having exceptional views, this restaurant has a great environment inside. The patio has a great vibe. The staff were very pleasant, attentive and looking for opportunities to exceed your expectations. We took a look at the dessert menu but decided to pass. Our server comp’d us a little bite of brownie and ice cream. A complete and delightful surprise. The food was excellent and it came out swiftly and fresh.
I’ve been here many times and have consistently had a great experience. Last time I went I had very tasty food and my server Shelby was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
Came for brunch (and dessert obviously) on the patio, great atmosphere and friendly staff!
Clam chowder was good
Fast and comfortable and good food
Staff and decor are great. Hadnt eaten here for a few years. Truffle and steak tortellini with tough tortellini (from frozen ?) And no discernable truffle flavour.
Earls is my go to a few times a month. A little surprised to find the Dynamite Roll has been removed from the menu. Ordered what was called a California roll. It was appalling. Please bring back the Dynamite roll.
Good food and service
Great place for a meal.
Food was tasty, drinks were good but service was slow and it was not busy. Would I go again? Yes
Had a gift card for Earls so gave it chance. Not impressed at all with the food. 1) Burger, very basic in appearance and toppings. Tasted like a burger from a cheap burger stand and was very salty . 2) Fries (basic) , no offer of vinegar 3) Ordered Truffle Fries.. what a rip off!!!!!. The Truffle dip was bland and tasteless. Cheap tasting scant amount of parmesan cheese with a few fries for $14.00 (Profit $13.25) 4) Lettuce wraps were decent in taste just not value for the $$. 5) Hint to the polite and friendly server. When a customer barely touches a dish, maybe you should ask why (brutal on the truffle fries) Very to below average food for the high price. Will not return
Always a good place to go.
Always good..... reliable.
Very expensive.
Flies literally everywhere so unsanitary, asking to get food poising if u eat here
Its always great service and the brunch is amazing. Selection top notch. It is a bit loud though, the music in particular. Wouldnt recommend for a quiet dinner.
Becky makes the meanest margaritas
Food is always good. Kitchen hasnt any problem modifying your order if required.
Hadn t been to Earl s Penticton for a while but went with friends who are regulars. Service was great and a small issue with a chipped beer glass was taken care of promptly. Pleasant surroundings and good food promptly prepared. My only issue is the ambient sound level being high. Like a lot of people I have a hearing issue that makes it difficult to understand what people are saying in a loud environment My reality check is if I notice people having to lean across the table to make themselves understood. If that s happening, time to dial back the music just a bit. This used to be something we d watch for when playing restaurant gigs and it really does enhance the experience.
Best place to eat in or take out. All round best fine dining and service.
During Peachfest, one the busiest weekends in Penticton, we sat on the patio and had the best date night! Cody, our server, was super charismatic, offered awesome cocktail/food recommendations, and was attentive to all our requests! Thanks for making our Saturday night #TopShelf
Lovely food, great service Vegetarian options: Has a lot of vegetarian options including a delicious impossible burger with delicious ham fries. Food : 5/5 |
My partner and I were at Earls to celebrate my buddys birthday. The food was hot and delicious. Id like our server, Daxton, to know what a positive impact he had on all of us. He is an exemplary server: attentive, kind, warm, efficient, and sincere. Youve got a real gem working for you. He deserves a raise. He embodies superior customer service, a rarity these days. Thanks Daxton for making our evening so memorable.
Do not recommend for gluten free pizza. Terrible crust, terrible toppings, terrible price
Went here for a celebratory dinner with a friend. Food and drinks were meh (passion fruit margarita, hibiscus Paloma, hunan kung pao and pulled chicken club). Service was average until our waitress decided I didn t tip enough. She looked at the receipt, quickly put it on the table and without looking at us or saying anything (and had a sour look on her face) quickly turned and walked away. Would rather spend my money somewhere local
Went for my Birthday and I had the best meal and the service was absolutely perfect the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Paige our server was the best, kind, friendly and one of the best servers I have had in years. Thank you for making my birthday as special as possible.
Cody was a fantastic server, he was fast, and personable. Great service and absolutely fabulous food. Thank you very much for making our anniversary a great one!
Food was great. Service fairly poor. Watched my burger sit under heat lamp for 15 minutes. One wrong order of 5 people. Went on steak Wednesday and steak not discounted (found out later). Not very busy but service incredibly slow.
Today my friends and I had the pleasure of having lunch at Earls in Penticton. Our server was Edgar ( Eduardo ),.who was fun, attentive, and kind. My friends mother, who is elderly and in a wheelchair, was smiling with happiness when he brought an unexpected treat to end our meals. Thank you, Edgar and good luck with your music!
Placed an order for pick up, and it was fresh and ready in the exact time I was given. Delicious fettuccine and chicken as always! And of course, great service. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options available Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and ramp available, also large doors.
We were disappointed in the crab cake. Unlike the promo photos our crab cake only had batter/breading on one side. There was also shrimp in it. Then the queen bee pizza had quite a lot of onions on it which was surprising as it was not listed in the description. It was also had an abundance of honey, whereas when I have had this type of pizza from other restaurants it is typically drizzled on. The sesame citrus noodle bowl and sushi tacos were both excellent.
love a good earl s! 10/10 service & food & vibes
The food is good. Waitstaff was great and attentive.
Great n y strip Food
Nice spot. However, we found the store to be dirty . Windows, floors and just not a White Glove Experience. My salad was not even tragically average . Dry and unimaginative. Unimpressed! /5
We went to Earls with some friends, and the service was excellent Our waiter, Cody, and the young lady from Paris France. Sorry I didn t get her name we re amazing. Thank you, Earls for having such great staff who give great service and the food was excellent we will be back
D. E. L. I. C. I. O. U. S. Very cool vibe, wonderful staff as well!
Earls is one of my favorites in Penticton. Wheelchair accessibility: It exists here. Food : 5/5 |
My mom wanted to give our wonderful and witty server Laetitia at Earls a 5 star review after we had an amazing Mother s Day brunch on the patio, thank you for making our day great Laetitia
Great time
Had a wonderful salad extremely fresh. When you come here, ask for Kelson a great waiter.
Consistently good menu and service.
Absolutely love Earls, the staff and food.
Went here for my birthday dinner this evening and what a disappointment in the kitchen staffs ability to cook a steak. Came to the table raw and cool in the center, ceaser salad so blan in color its almost white. Management cared nothing of the issue, nore do they care to pay the cooks enough apparently.
Service was not the best.
Went last night for dinner with my partner, hostess said bar tender was our server, well bartender is too busy to be a server as well, so we literally got forgotten, had to order from hostess, food was brought out by a server , know one checked on us, had to ask for dessert menu from Bartender at bar, then back to bar for the order, pretty much self serve, dessert was brought out dry cold, no napkins, had to go back to bar third time , to pay. Then expected to tip on a $110 bill
Excellent service and friendly staff. Best Ribs in Penticton. Period.
Earls Winter Wonder Lounge was the perfect place for Boxing Day dinner. The food was delicious esp the applies and the atmosphere was so festive. Heaters kept us warm and toasty. Our family out town guests were very impressed.
Great food and atmosphere just can get bit noisy when busy. Pricing a little on the higher side for lunch.....
I ordered a well-done steak. I got a medium rare steak, and it was cold. I had to heat it up, and it still wasnt done to my liking. It was also through Doordash. Dont know if that makes a difference. But when I pay 40$ for a steak, i want the way I want it. Stupid chef thinking that he can get away with not following the customers wants. If you order from Earls, dont order a well-done steak. The chef only serves what he thinks is good! I wish I could get my money back.
Food was decent, but for the price isnt great. Service really lacked. Lack of taking a drink order, and food took a long time coming out.
Classic Earls food and service!
Great Service & Food!!
The restaurant was slammed the day we were there. We got our food before our drinks, and got our second drink comped because it took so long to arrive. All in all a positive experience despite the challenges.
Dissatisfied! My salad was cold, apparently their salad heater was broken sounds like a you problem ! Why wasn t our chicken dry and burnt?! Do you purposely make your food delicious so that I will get fat? Rude! My iced tea had ice in it, and the coffee was hot. Not to mention the hostess greeting us and engaging us in polite conversation as she promptly ushered us to a beautiful table. It s close minded to assume we wanted prompt friendly service! Lastly, due to the efficiency of our server, we were compelled to leave a 25% tip, hidden costs! Unacceptable! If you want bad service and gross food, don t go here, you ll be disappointed.
your Caesar salad is NOT the original. It must have fish sauce rather than anchovy.
Well I used to work in the kitchen there and had just about every position in the kitchen, so I know for a fact that the food is excellent but its not cheap, only because of the quality and not the quantity. From what I remember is that during lunch and dinner rush hour it can get a little overwhelming with people. So if you cant handle being around alot of people wait til after the rush hour and peacefully enjoy your time in. Thank-you and enjoy. Vegetarian options: Not necessarily veg dishes but home style dishes, like authentic RUSSIAN food like BORSCHT , AND GARLIC MASHED POTATOES WITH BUTTER .I ve got more Ideas but lets see what happens in the near future .Talk to you soon. Thank You!!!
The food was amazing. I think it was the best service we had ever had at a restraunt! The server had a trainee shadowing her and even the trainee was phenomenal! I would have never known she wasnt experienced if they told me! They made me a watermelon slush cosmo that was so delicious they suggested the slush! We would make a trip to Penticton just to eat at this Earls location!
Waited 25 minutes just for coffee then order our meals. They must have forgot the service
12 of us went to Earls after a large pool tournament. The food was good except that 4 people ordered prime rib, the meals did not all come out at once, and the steaks and sides were mixed up which resulted in some steaks being sent back under cooked and over cooked. The server was super friendly and the oysters were delicious!
I randomly go there and everytime they surprise me by taste yummmmmmm!
Great food, our server was wonderful, only complaint was the bill at the end, not that it was wrong just expensive.
We started with some appetizers delicious main coures very good Alfredo and pizza so good
Food good, service really good but the noise level was unbearable. Couldnt hear the person across the table. Need the lounge glassed off. Very loud.
Accommodating with respect to seating. Lovely food and good service. Slightly loud inside and difficult to have a conversation.
Food was fabulous! We just had appetizers but everything was hot and fresh. Service was excellent It was fun and inviting, great to be out and enjoying
Always a good time.
Very disappointed. Took grandson for his 16th birthday. The creamy clam chowder was anything but creamy. Ribs very good but plating was awful - looked like something that used leftovers just dumped on the plate. The sticky toffee pudding was horrible - so dry you needed to take a swallow of your drink to get it down. The bill was very high but that was not a surprise as we know everything has gone up, but, we expected decent food for the cost. Will think carefully before returning. There are many very good restaurants in Penticton that we can go to.
tasty food, pleasant staff
Baila is such a breath of fresh air! Earls hired the right person for this establishment
The server noticed I was very hungover and offered me a delicious beverage to help settle my stomach 10/10 coming again
Always good, bright bar with lots of friendly waitresses, quick service.nice patio..good place to just hang for awhile with a friend.
Good food and drinks. A little pricey but the staff are amazing.
Dynamite roll, sushi tacos a glass of Wine. All good.
Crab cakes were incredible Parking: Lots Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
One of the best brunches in town.
Bright, clean, with lots of windows. Nice seating areas. The waiter was prompt. We had menus drinks within 5 minutes. The happy hour menu has excellent specials and, best of all, is available on weekends as well!
#happyhour
Good food and menu bigger restaurant atmosphere good service
Steak was tough
Delicious food and great service.
Great burger, awesome selection of cold, premium craft beer and an expansive and beautifully decorated property, inside and on the patio.
Great midday treat
We thought the food was good but the portion sizes small and the prices high. Well try somewhere else next time.
Good food, prompt service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Decided to take my wife out for dinner, and she suggested Earls, Brynn was fantastic server, she was very friendly and helpful. Wings and Spinach Dip were pretty good. I almost fainted when we discovered the Smyrna Vanilla Vodka in my wife s drink was $9.50 a shot. The price of her Italian Spritz is $7.25. Once you put that all together it was more than $32.00 for two drinks. Only wish the Vodka price was evident and we could have passed on the drink that cost more then the food. I guess we will move on and tray some place else. I can not honestly recommend them to anyone.
In all honesty they have a menu so very similar to the Cactus Club. The cactus clubs food is much more flavor than at Earls. I would suggest one of your cooks there to go eat there and try what I had, which was simply the steak and frites. Service was great.
From the time I arrived the person taking me to my seat was polite and happy. Aaron who was my server was awesome. I do not do reviews unless it is extremely poor service or the best service. Aaron is the best! He knows his menu well. I sat down and he was there right away. I asked about a menu item and a sauce and when I tried it and it was exactly how he explained it. He was polite, and smiling. Its not often you find someone who clearly loves his job. Besides Aaron the food was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Thank you Aaron and Earls Penticton! Well done.
Dinner with the family was excellent.
Nice renovations and predictably good food. Staff does not mind when my toddler has a meltdown and lies on the floor
$5 for a bottle of coke
Stopped by for happy hour to feed the kids and have a mid afternoon bite before heading back out to the activities of the day! Food is small portion but tastes great. Consistency is Earl s recipe and they follow it!
Good service
We have been coming to this earls for 20 years and had the best service ever tonight! Our server Bobby was attentive, fun, and personable! He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. We had some substations and he made sure everything came out right. He also gave great ideas about local attractions for us to check out. Thank you Bobby for a great night - you made our experience with Earls extra special!
Always great staff and great food!! Never once had a complaint
The chicken fingers are the best and fries and gravy
Good food, good layout, atmosphere is nice, can be busy but worth the wait.
Some of the Best chefs in Penticton! Amazing food!!! Service is AWESOME
Waitresses were kind and the open kitchen was cool
The service is great, we always feel welcomed when we walk in and are seated right away. The food is phenomenal, love the patio space, and great prices too. We ve tried dinner and brunch and had a good experience both times.
It s a bit of hit and miss with this location, and it may vary from visit to visit. I m afraid my experience of the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I dined in a few weeks ago, and the food was pretty good, but my truffle ravioli was bland. I asked for salt and pepper, which was given with a smile, but the shakers felt greasy. The restrooms look very nice and modern, but they have these weird square-shaped toilet seats that are a bit difficult to navigate for a shorter person (or children, I imagine). No wonder when I opened the door to one of the stalls (which are enclosed rooms), I was blasted with a very strong smell of urine, a hint of which stayed with me throughout the meal (it was that strong), though I used a different stall than the smelly one. They need to just install normal toilets. The atmosphere of the dining room is lovely, open and bright, but the impression of poor sanitation made it difficult to fully appreciate. The next time I tried it, I placed an order through a delivery app. This time the food was superb and was packed with care. No complaints. Unfortunately this is an extra-expensive way to order.
My wife and I got steaks, blackened. Once they were cooked correctly the food was amazing. First time the food arrived it was the wrong food. Then the right food came, but without my fries (I ordered steak frites) so no fries was funny, they just brought a salad. So then they made me my own side of fries and I ate the salad anyway :) My steak was very good. My wifes steak was over cooked and her potatoes were cold -they made it right without questions and it the food was amazing. I ordered a spicy cesaer for my drink, but instead they gave me a earls cesaer which used a ton of steak spice and not celary salt, very strange and I did not like it at all, I returned it and again they made it right without question and the new cesaer was great. I Its funny because this review is 5 stars, yet all Ive done is tell you that the experience was not smooth at all. Thats because it wasnt. Stuff happens and its about how its handled, thats what matters. Brynn took care of us this night, we had just been evacuated 2 hours prior and my wife and I were both a little overwhelmed to say the least. Brynn is 100% an asset to Earls and she would be at any business. Her xustomer service skills and problem solving was incredible and it really felt like our experience at the restraunt was important to her. Thank you so much Brynn for being a great human. Earls, Brynn saved you a customer for life and she single handedly changed a 2 star review into a 5 star review. I suggest you read this in front of all your staff so they understand the power and impact they all have on your guests. And maybe Brynn gets something. Respectfully Blade Eresman.
August 17/23 - 19:30 hours Lets start with the food. High end prices for lower to mid-grade quality. While the steak a little tough, it tasted okay. The bed of pasta and cheese sauce had the texture and consistency of microwaved boxed macaroni and cheese. The hamburger did little better. The meat tasted okay, but it was over cooked and dry. There was little cheese, while the menu described cheddar and bacon. Bacon was dry and hard. The good part of the burger is that the bun was tender and toasted nicely. The side of salad is wilted and bland. Finally, the coffee is distinctly the quality and sharpness of MJB or Nabob coffee. Watered down and bitter. This brings us to a related issue, service. Service. Disorganized at best. I counted ten(?) waitresses, most of which congregated in the employee bussing/table supply section. Our server assisted us four times. Once to seat us. Another to bring water. Eventually brought honey & sugar for coffees. Finally to bring the bill. Her demeanor to us was a friendly yet mildly irritated sense of duty. The only times our table saw attention was when the assistant, Aiden, tended to our table. Aiden is gracious, friendly and had the sense of honor to serve our table. He regularly checked on our progress and refilled our coffee and water without hesitation. Our waitress advised that the burger came with fries. Of course it didnt have fries. Aiden was only too happy to bring an order of fries. However, the fries were little better than the no-name frozen fries found in a discount mart. Perhaps it is better that the fries are forgotten. The assistants service quality is the only reason that the rating is as high as it is. Atmosphere. The dining atmosphere is pleasant enough. The decorum reflected a calm, yet polite air. Furnishings are in good repair and fairly contemporary. A real detractor is the conflicting image portrayed by the serving staff. The accepted norm is incongruent with the atmosphere. If the serving staff wished to dress they way do, perhaps they will feel more comfortable working at Hooters or an adult specialty shop. The men are suitably attired in semi-casual uniform wear. For the most part, their clothing reflected the intended dining experience. Overall, the experience is a step up from an evening out at A&W or McDonalds. Anticipate high end prices. Notice the promise of exceptional service and do not be surprised to experience the opposite quality.
My family and I ate at Earls last night and were so impressed and pleased with our amazing server, Bobby. He made our experience fun and heart-warming with his magnetic personality and great sense of humor. We had just come from a celebration of life earlier that day which he would have had no way of knowing about. But his excellent service really made our night and gave us a lot to smile and laugh about! Ask for Bobby next time you eat at this location :) You wont be disappointed.
We ate at Earls Penticton last Friday. Our first time at this location. We ordered a Poke bowl, Pulled Chicken club and a soup. The service was fairly quick, we had our drink and food orders in shortly after we arrived. This location didn t seem like classic Earl s to me. The decor seemed like leftovers from whatever restaurant it used to be. When I think of Earl s, I think of modern furniture, black chairs etc. The furniture at this location seemed more like a classic brunch diner, and by classic I mean dated. There were low green fabric chairs. The food looked and tasted great. My Pulled chicken club wasn t perfect. Its grilled toast was quite greasy, and it was quite expensive for what I got. It was tasty, I wouldn t order it again though. I believe everyone else was satisfied with their drinks and food. An issue I had, but did not correct, was some black specs in my water glass. Since I ordered beer, I just didn t drink my water. Our server was friendly, but not overly attentive and seemed fairly busy. It took a little bit to see him and signal we were ready to pay and leave. Overall, this visit to Earls was good, but I wouldn t hurry back to this location, as nothing wowed me. 3.5 stars would be most accurate.
This experience was very consistent with Earls standards. The drinks and food were fast and tasty. Service was attentive. Highly recommend
Still great food and wonderful staff. However since the new interior remodel it feels more like a Dennys than an Earls.
My daughter and I went for a happy hour snack and drink, our server was so wonderful! Miya was tentative and so sweet, she was so on top of things that I didn t even have to ask :) really enjoyed our time ! Thank you Miya
Good food and service, friendly staff
Food was bland. Not worh speng the money we did. The bathrooms were dirty. Waiter was good. Chicken alfredo had no taste. 2 ceasers vey lacking in taste. Will not be going. Back. There wer flies in side as well. Parking: In a strip mall
Great food our server was personable and friendly
Best Service Ever, Danika youre Awesome. So Sweet + Kind.
Ordered soups which was wonderful and also n Ceasar salad which was wilterd and rusty when sent back they literally picked the parts out and served half the portion... Sorry will not return
Not a bad place to eat good table service. Very enjoyable Really like the good food and great service. We were there for a birthday and our French waiter, was magnificent !!!! Thank you for making a wonderful evening, start !!!
Good service but ridiculous prices. $25 for a hamburger, for example. Wont be back. Food : 4/5
Everything was excellent the hostess our server and the food was very awesome!!!
This place is what you would expect for a chain. It was lacking on something and I can t quite put my finger on it. Food was good, service was good, happy hour prices were good. It just wasn t amazing
My first time at Earls Kitchen + Bar. I am visiting from Montreal and I am a big fan of brunch. I had the Avocado Benedict and it was delicious. Hollandaise sauce was on point!! They have a wide variety of menu choices. Atmosphere was very comfortable and staff was amazing. I will definitely go back.
Getting very expensive and menu had slimmed down
I visited this location a recently and was shocked at how slow the service was. Our server was very nice but very slow, the food was great which partially made up for it but to sit with an empty drink for the entirety of my meal sucked.
Great happy hour!..... Great service!
Disappointed.
Great staff and food
Good happy hour selection! Liked steak frites and crab cake a lot! Wish drinks were better tho. Did not taste much of anything.
There is no Earls in this town. Update your system
Food is so up and down , its good but some days its excellent, same goes with service
We ordered take out while at a basketball tournament, got back to our venue to realize there were no napkins or utensils, guess I m eating salad with my fingers Thanks for the disappointment
We stopped in for a late lunch snack and ordered salt and pepper wings with yam fries, delicious! The staff was all great especially our waiter Kelson! Great job Earls Penticton! Oliver and Christina
We sat in the cozy Christmas patio with a fuzzy blanket and a toasty heater. Our server, CHRISTINA, was exceptional. I think she had fun with us. The food was great, we had tataki steak and prawn tortellini, followed by BIRTHDAY cheesecake. It was an absolutely superb experience!
Great service and food
Went on a Thursday night. They only had seating on the patio, even though we walked through basically an empty restaurant. There was some entertainment / a guest singer and a birthday or event going on in the patio so it was super loud, we couldnt hear each other from across the table and could barely hear our server.
Friendly staff, good food, its worth going for lunch/ dinner.
false advertising, paid over $18 for noodles and alfredo sauce.. no chicken or cheese as advertised in the photo and not even an option to add it.. very disappointed
We often take advantage of happy hour pricing and 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesdays and split the meal. Otherwise, Earls would be out of my price range. Tip suggestions start at 18% which is more than fair for the excellent service.
Its a hoot and a half
Very nice food and environment. Loved the vegan choice. It was very busy there so may be that s why the service was little slow. But a good experience overall.
After leaving Match we found the service wonderful., the food great and the service again was great!
Unlike other Earls branches, this one looks so fresh, new and full of light! The food was nice, service was too and didn t take us a long time to get seated.
Good food and great service
Service was exceptional, Food was out of this world and I cant wait to visit
Getting very pricey
I m a pretty loyal Earls customer. They do what they do well, but there s always going to be some visits better than others. This time was not one of those. I will say the staff were lovely to a person. And the service was pretty good (bar maybe a forgotten request for pepper) but the Benny, a brunch staple, was very disappointing. Very over done, the hollandaise was cold, the avocado was almost black. The fried potatoes were the saving grace. My co-diners enjoyed their tacos and earls breakfast though their sunny sides up were likewise cooked to a solidness that makes eggs sad imo. Coffee was hot and the Caesar was superb. Space is lovely a bright. Overall, a mixed bag
On October 10th around 1p.m we ordered the sea food platter. Around 4pm I got a very bad case of food poisoning and was up all night on the toilet. You may want to remove this from your menu.
Went here for a birthday dinner. They sat us on the patio, which was enclosed and extremely warm and very uncomfortable. I got violently ill the next day and thought it must just be a bug. But after talking to multiple guests from the party, they also had the same symptoms the next day as well, so the only thing it could be is food poisoning. I will not be returning to this location.
Wonderful service, always great food. I think it would be nice if the lounge and the restaurant were more separated. When I go out I like to feel like Im going out somewhere special, adults only, not just a family restaurant. There was also no fruit served in the sangria (which is usually served at other locations) and it tasted like there was more fruit juice than alcohol.
Vegetarian options: Had vegetable tempura, it was pretty lousy. Green beans soggy & the green onions were burnt. They didnt offer another meal or at least half off of price. It was like oh well, they are removing that menu item
Met some local friends there I hadnt seen in awhile. The whole experience was great food, wine, service & atmosphere.
Shannon was a delight tonight. Her customer-service acumen and professionalism shined bright. The meal came in fast, and it was tasty. Thank you for the pleasant experience.
Super fun event Boomers Social Group Our waiter Boby looked after every detail and considering we were 14 he had it all covered. He s new to Canada and shared some of himself and his culture as well as being super efficient. Great job Boby and welcome to Penticton
We showed up with a group of hockey players and parents with no reservation. They fit us in very promptly and the customer service was outstanding. The meals came out in a very timely order. I tip my hat to the servers, hostess and management at this location.
We arrived on Saturday Dec 10TH to be on the closed in heated patio which was nice. However when I had made the reservation 2weeks prior I had specified I wanted a location away from traffic as it was our staff Christmas party and we wanted to be able to visit. Our table was next to the bar where the staff placed and picked up orders and guests waited to be seated and there wasn t anyplace else to move to as the inside of the main restaurant was full with a private Christmas party. We were seated and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before our drink order was taken and the waitress apologized to start that she was new and English was not her first language. There was a problem getting the drinks we wanted as slush machine was broken. We waited a further 15 minutes to get drinks and mine was forgotten and came 10 minutes later. We got an apology for lateness and our first drinks were comped . This complete neglect continued for the order of appetizers and then my meal wasn t even ordered. So I waited 10 minutes for a tasteless dry salmon meal. More apologies and comped my meal . Then comped two desserts by a manager. Even though our waitress was apologizing we were again ignored for a long time and had to look for her to get bill! We have been earls customer for 40 years and this was such a disappointment that we may never go back. We all look so forward to this get together with a good meal and it was such a disaster.
Glasses were dirty, server was good. Food was decent but pizza was terrible.
