The food here is simply the best thing I have ever eaten in my life, and the prices are very reasonable for a high-end restaurant, not expensive. I will come to this restaurant to eat in the future! Kid-friendliness: Childrens meals with very cute shapes

Hands down, the best Japanese I have ever eaten and I ve lived in Vancouver! I ordered miso soup, spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon sashimi and spicy agedashi tofu, all phenomenal. 10/10, no notes. The service and decor were also exceptional

Ginza is by far my favourite sushi place. Their food is high quality and consistent whether we dine in or get take out, and the service is always pleasant. I recommend trying their Aburi Salmon Roll!

Delicious Eating!

Small intimate place with a good atmosphere. Food is delicious. Couldnt decide what to have so ordered almost everything. Udon is really good. My only complaint is the spoons for udon are just a bit too small. Lunch boxes are really good as well.

Don t judge a book by its cover, once you get inside this place you ll fall in love.

I usually do not leave bad reviews but this dining experience was just exceptionally bad. It was our first time dining here and it was disappointing to say the least. Firstly, we were a party of three that was led to one small table with two seats. We had to ask to combine the tables and add a chair ourselves. Then, we were left there for ten minutes with no waiter in sight, had to ask for water when we were ordering and the water ended up coming with our food despite telling them that we were thirsty. Service was cold as well, especially from the teen girl waiter. Secondly, the food quality was concerning given the price. The tuna sashimi came out looking very pale and unappealing, and when we bit into it, we could taste the ice slush texture. The sashimi was not even fully defrosted. Sushi roll was very average, with the spicy sauce overpowering the taste. Takoyaki had maybe two tiny pieces of octopus in each one. Sake tasted very watered down. Will give them credits for the unique plates and sake set-up. Overall, VERY overpriced and definitely does not deserve a 4.8 rating. Left a 15% tip but let s be honest, no one wants to spend $100+ and receive this. Will not be returning. As someone who also has worked in the service and food industry, this is not how you do it. Please do better.

The food was the best I ve ever had! Our service was fast and efficient. And the staff made a comfortable environment for everyone there. Definitely made my top 10 restaurants. And I have been to many restaurants.

I moved to Penticton not too long ago and I decided to try this place for a birthday dinner, as I had never been before. Im always looking for a good sushi place. The food was delicious. There was a lovely selection of wine and cocktails, as well as mocktails and very friendly service. A wonderful array of dishes and I look forward to trying many in the future. They even surprised us with some delicious slices of birthday cake, candle and tasty drizzle. All the food was presented beautifully and had that taste that I miss so much from my favourite coastal restaurants. This is now my favourite sushi place in Penticton. Pretty standard fare, with a large selection of rolls, poke and udon. The chicken karaage was more like popcorn chicken. Still a cool spot to eat.

First time here, definitely coming back. Great atmosphere. The rolls were a little too big for my 80 year old friend, our server told us we can order them longer and thinner. Wheelchair accessibility: Not that great. Theres one booth on the street level and thats where we ate because my friend cant do stairs. She uses a cane, I dont know if the was sufficient room for a wheelchair.

Beautiful Japanese restaurant located on the top floor of their building. Did not smell of cooking oil as some do. Beautifully decorated. Always the best sushi place in Penticton. I love how they dont heavily put tons of rice on each roll. Like the saying goes less is more. Lol Its definitely pricier than all the other places around town but its still worth it. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for rolls.

Quality sushi. Flavors were perfect, nothing was overwhelming except the amount of food you got , which probably isnt a bad thing. Miso was incredible and the mango crunch was crunchy and delishhh

I have been going to Ginza for over ten years, before the fire, and the consistency of wonderful food is great. Ginza today really takes its name seriously, though, as it is a beautiful and posh Japanese restaurant. The plating is spectacular, the food is thoughtful and delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy yet modern and clean.

Ginza is consistently amazing. The menu has a wide variety of options and everything always comes out great.

We havent been here in a long time, but were very pleased with this visit. Great food, reasonable prices and great service!

Great sushi spot in Penticton! We were visiting from Vancouver so we balked a little at the prices but the portions were a good size and the food was tasty! The fish tasted fresh and of good quality but the stand out was the kimchi tofu udon - their kimchi is house made and excellent! Always a choice place to eat, great ambience. Brought my mum for her 60th birthday and had great service. The server asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion as I believe they overheard the Happy Birthday!, and they surprised us with a dessert to wrap up!

This is a pretty cool spot...can look down on the street...makes it feel pretty uppity. We had lunch and it was yummy... My concern is the tab...with tip was $70. Thats pretty hefty for lunch...in my opinion anyway. There were three of us, but still...

Very Delicious Sushi :) we shared a combo for 2 of us plus takoyaki balls. We were both full. The sushi was high quality and tasty. The staff were courteous and efficient. The place was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice. I would come here again. Parking: Sometimes the parking on the street out front is free.

Very impressed with our evening here we had reservation and we were seated ten mins later than our time ordered the sushi and was so delicious waiter Chad was top notch and they gave us free dessert for being seated later than our reservation first class management to do that I mentioned in Arnold s words I ll be back

Went with my wife and 1 year old, they gave our daughter a mini rice roll with a sliced avocado free of charge without us even asking, very thoughtful. Food was high quality and service was awesome. Price was reasonable.

Service was quick and efficient, the nigiri was superb; just enough for a mouthful and very fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is comfortable and the interior design is very modern without being cold. I will be back!

Very delicious Udon soup!

The food was really good and we will try again. It was not completely 5 stars because it took a little longer than normal and they didn t not remove cucumber as asked. Nothing that takes away from great food!

Ginza is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in Penticton. The service is always quick and friendly, and the food is delicious. I think their Gyoza is the best in town. My girlfriend and I have also been there a few times and the staff recognizes us which feels nice whenever we go. They have also gave us Mochi desert before on the house, which was our first time trying it and now were hooked! Thanks Ginza.

I ve been here a couple times now and it s truly an amazing restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend the aburi nigiri. They are also great for those with dietary restrictions. I have celiac disease and they will always accommodate if they can. Came here for the first time since the renos. They surpassed every expectation on service, quality and speed. Came with our young kids and I havent had anywhere close to the service that they had towards the kids. Going above and beyond!

Very authentic experience since I lived in Japan

The food is spectacular and their service is truly amazing. There was a slight mistake in our take-out order and the staff went above and beyond and some to rectify it. Truly the best sushi and kindest staff in Penticton.

I went there by chance and heard a rumor that a Korean was running this place, so I went there! ! The food is made by artisans who have been making it for nearly 20 years. Its clean and simple, so I keep reaching for it. . I really enjoyed it. Because Im hungry. I don t know if that s the case haha. The atmosphere is good too. Above all, the rolls are rolled by the friendly owner himself. Its really delicious I understand why this place was recommended. in korea. I remember it even after I came back. I really want to go again I also tell people around me that I must go to Canada. I strongly recommended stopping by. I was so thankful for the meal and especially the kindness shown to me. Once again. Thank you.

We came here for my daughters 7th birthday. The staff were so hospitable and even sang happy birthday for her. They had cool sippy cups for the kids and gave them extra treats on the house. Wonderful dinner at what may be the Okanagan s finest! Amazing rolls and poke bowls. Look for the volcano rolls, seared Nigiri, and Tuna appies. They were busy when we arrived but still did their best with friendly, efficient service. They even stayed open long enough to do a take out order for late guests, all while ensuring it was gluten free. Bravo! Five stars!

Came to Ginza for lunch and sat on their shaded patio. Really enjoyed their squid karage, chopped scallop nigiri, spider roll and fresh salad. Service was friendly and quick. Would recommend if you want some yummy sushi in the Okanagan!

Brutally overpriced for the mushy fish they serve. They claimed it was fatty fish... Questionable if its real or just compressed fish thats been colored. Expect minimal rice in bowls.

I stopped by a friend who told me there was a delicious sushi restaurant in Pentington. Wow~~ The taste was better than any other sushi restaurant in Vancouver, but the beautifully made sushi rolls were a work of art. If anyone is traveling to Kelowna, I would definitely recommend stopping by Pentington and enjoying the food there. Boss~ You are so kind, The food was really delicious~~

Very good quality foods, tasty homemade sauces that they have. I am very happy that I found this place in town. If you miss a good Sushi when you are in Penticton, this is the best place to go. Highly recommended.

So happy Ginza is open again, but now with build your own poke! I am new to poke and all the sauces that go with it. The service was great, happily answered all my questions and even gave me extra sauces just to try, so I know for next time! Thank you, my poke bowl was delicious!

Ginza is one of my favorites in Penticton. I try to make my rounds around town and Im always looking forward to coming here. Their food is tasty but what sets them apart is their quality ingredients. Their freshness adds to the appealing appearance of their plates. Highly recommended!

Was looking for a sushi place around Penticton and saw passed by this place. The exterior of this place caught my attention and decided to do a walk-in. The interior of this place is very nice too. This place is a hidden gem for everything sushi and some korean dishes. They make everything to order with very fresh ingredients. We came right before lunch time and they were very accommodating. We were seated in the patio, which first quite a large group. The interior of their restaurant is very hip and bumping. Great place to get your sushi cravings and drinks. Servers are attentive and food comes out at a timely manner. Will come back here whenever I am in Penticton. Will recommend their crazy dynamite roll and volcano roll (both spicy). Their agedashi tofu is very soft and just really good. Overall really great place!

The owners are lovely. The sushi artist is phenomenal. Okanagan roll is the most interesting and delicious roll Ive ever had. The owners and kitchen staff are top notch. Ive been a chef and am honestly mind blown by the calabour of food. A definite must visit. Better than any Vancouver sushi joint. Lucky to have them back up and running.
