White Spot Penticton in Penticton

Shawna was our server and she was great, after our meal we were able to talk to her about some things that my wife and I and her missed from when we were growing up IE outdoor theatres, drive through car hops, and a few other things. I had that Buttermilk Cobb Salad with house dressing and it was great I wouldnt change a thing mind you I did leave out the cheese and I forget the other ingredient I left out. My wife had chicken pot pie and the house salad she said it was good.

We have been to the Penticton location a few times and it was usually good. Went there for lunch today (Oct 20th 2024) and it was the most horrible experience Ive ever had at ANY restaurant. We got seated right away and then pretty much forgot about us. Two other parties came in after us and were served their drinks and got there food before we could even get a coffee and our order taken. The server was no where to be found. After about 45 minutes my wife and I decided I should talk to a manager. When I located the manager and tried to explain the situation I was told she would be with me in a minute and pretty much gave me the attitude my concern wasnt important. I said to her no I wont wait, Ive been waiting long enough. To which she said the were doing their best. And told me to stop yelling at her. I wasnt yelling at her. After 45+ minutes of waiting I was tired of waiting. Especially when two other parties that came in after us already were done their meals and we hardly even had our order taken. After the service we recieved there by the wait staff and the manager, we took our business elsewhere. Somewhere with good service and management. I work hard for my money and when I receive service like this it is un acceptable. The owner/management here need to improve many things here. I will no longer spend my hard earned dollars here or any Whitespots for that matter. People should avoid this place at all costs. I spent my hard earned dollars at Earls and had amazing service and amazing food. I will never spend my money at the Penticton Whitespot again. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. IF I could give it 0 stars I would.

Worst service and very rude staff. I took my family for brunch and they didn t seem care that we were 8 people on the patio spending over $200! We had 2 little dogs with us so we went directly to the patio - a waitress came out and gave us heck for going directly to the patio! I asked her if she preferred we take the dogs through the restaurant and it went down hill from there! We saw 4 tables served and paid before we got anything. 1 hour and twenty minutes. Horrible - smashdowns were burnt!

Great customer service. They forgot to put my order in and whe I asked them about it, they acknowledged the mistake and gave me and my wife a free tab because of the mistake. We went there to watch a soccer game and they put it up for us. I would definitely go again if I have the chance.

White Spot food is always good. Sadly they appear to consistently struggle to hire enough staff to allow for effective service. This location was no different. Arrived for breakfast at about 8:45 and had an uncomfortable wait for each step. I almost turned around when I was asked to wait to be seated in a half empty restaurant. Hindsight that would have been the correct choice. Server tried, but really feels like this is more on management issue than anything else

Love the place, very open with lots of light. The Cheesesteak hash was tasty and I couldn t get enough of it, great portion size too.

I forgot to take any pictures, but I had to write a review. My experience here was above average and way better than I expected. The service from when we entered our meal order and food was great. We had a party of six and everyone was pleased with their meal. I will definitely be back.

I ordered cheesy bacon perogies with extra cheese sauce. When I order extra cheese that doesnt mean I want extra onions. Plus the bacon was in slices not diced so I had slabs of bacon that were has hard to cut. All around it just wasnt what I expected I have order this before and never had a problem so why was it so unsatisfactory this time?

Kind of pricey, but delicious food. Wish they would open up the bar area for longer during the day.

Normally not too worried about the service or the food quality at a well-known chain restaurant. Unfortunately our experience here proved that assumption wrong. The manager or shift leader the night we went was rude and had a horrible attitude. She basically tossed my baby sisters pirate pack across the table to her and spilled the sauce all over everything in her pack. Took forever to get our food and forever to get our servers attention to pay the bill. Sucks cause it s the only white spot around and we normally enjoy the food and service at other locations.

Eggs Bennie is a real achievement here. Very creative additions in this instance. Ask for fresh coffee if you need to. Vegetarian options: The Bennie was fab!!

Always such a treat for our kids to eat here. And to add to the excitement, they partner with our children s school for hot lunch! Always consistently delicious, this BC institution is an easy choice. There s something for everyone. Their burgers are crazy delicious!

The only thing that makes this two stars is the food it was so good. The waiter was not kind in anyway shape or form. I keep saying thank you and she just keeps her head down and say nothing. 2/5

Its a good place to come for a hearty meal. Service in this location was very good and so was the food. It was served quickly and still hot. The place is spacious and clean. Food prices, as in many places, have gone up, but the legendary hamburger was still a good price and still tasted very good.

Love the food, sooo good. Service was slow but not the servers fault. She was very overworked. It seems staff is hard to find in Penticton and is a common problem there.

Best white spot in the Okanagan.

Had the Mac and Cheese special for dinner. It was tasteless and boring. Disappointing as we usually enjoy eating here. Ordered a Nates size drink and got a single. My husband wasnt impressed with his dinner either. I dont think well be back to this location

Ive never had bad service here, and the restaurant is always clean and bright. It is franchise food, but, at least you know what your getting.

Good burgers and great service from our waitress

We ordered fish and chips for dinner and got them delivered. The batter was runny in the middle and not fully cooked. very unimpressed and disappointed. We won t be ordering here again.

Better to go to ooos for a burger White Spot has really gone down hill in the last 5 years .

Pretty sad, its a white spot so you should know what to expect. However I recently had a chicken burger from here and the breast was nothing more than a quarter of a chicken breast, seriously it was a piece of a chicken breast I dismantled my burger and ate it with one bite...... and the toppings but a fraction. I didnt know times were so tough that you cant afford to provide people with an actual full sized sandwich, especially at the price you pay here, not worth it for a bun and french fries.... Aside from that our server was kind. EDIT- Management reached out and offered a second chance, and they totally redeemed themselves. Great job, the service and food was great this time. We enjoyed the Gochujang lettuce wraps, clubhouse and perogies. Everything was tasty and as expected. Thanks for the correction.

After spending the night driving to visit my mother in the hospital, my sister and I really needed a good real meal and a few minutes to decompress. We picked this restaurant because of the location, as well as I have eaten in other White Spots before and was happy with everything. This location did not disappoint. The coffee was fresh and delicious. The potato smashers were really good and my omelette was superb. Sorry, was too tired/hungry to get any photos.

Only complaint we asked for coffee twice and both were cold.

Way over priced. 20 bucks for a plain cheese burger and crappie fries. Waste of money. 82 bucks for lunch for one adult and two children. A couple burgers and a childs pirate pack. Ridiculous. Reply to owner. I could fill my car from empty, drive from Penticton to Vancouver and half way back for the price of lunch for me and two children. I cant afford White Spot. Just a couple years ago it was 50 bucks which was expensive but doable. Over 80 bucks Im out. Cant afford it. I have been going to White Spot over 60 years and the quality of the burgers is not what it once was. Quality down and prices through the roof. Good luck.

If you are looking for a light meal you will definitely find it here. Ordered a soup and a salad. $8.99 for the soup and if I had a 1/2 cup of soup in the tiny bowl it came in I d be shocked. Salad was totally tasteless. Had to put salt and pepper on it to have any flavour at all. The people I ate with seemed to like what they had (burgers) so I d probably recommend those. Just stay away from the salad options and don t waste your money on the soup. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

In fact, the meal was better than anticipated. We stopped in for a quick bite and short visit. The quality of the burgers and fries only complimented a great afternoon. Our server was friendly and attentive. My only regret is not leaving a large enough tip. I look forward to our next visit. Two reasons. I grew up in BC but have lived in SK for 25 years and every year when I come back i have to make my White Spot visit. My kids love it and we actually went back 2 nights in a row this time. Get the clubhouse. You wont be disappointed

Apparently their breakfast menu ends at 11 a.m... even though we were there at 10:40 they told us they had already switched over to their lunch menu so we couldnt have pancakes ... After a bit of a fuss they reluctantly agreed to give us the breakfast menu! Server was great... obviously it wasnt her fault... the manager reluctantly/eventually did the right thing.

Reese was the best server in the whole white ever in penticton he was kind and he was friendly and a good person to be around can t wait to dine here again he made the experience way better. Don t waste your money on their Turkey dinner. The meat is tasteless and the meal itself is layered onto a under sized plate that makes it very difficult to eat.For $25+ I expect better from White Spot.

This summer we ate here and i found a long hair very embedded in my food. Told the manager when she came to bring our bill as I knew I d want to know if I was her. She assured me the cooks all watch how they do things etc etc. Basically told me it was likely my hair. It will take a long time if ever for me to return here that is for sure.

Took my staff here for a our holiday dinner. Everything was amazing. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Our waiter stayed on top of everything on his own and was able to navigate all our weird requests and ensured we got exactly what we wanted and were able to enjoy the time there.

I wish i could not give them even one star. I order Just a poutine and it took 45 min to get ready and once i got it ,it barley had a meat sauce and it was dam cold and they sent it without Fork. Are you kidding me??? Iam sure the branch manager donot know how to run a resturent becuase their kitchen is not even able to making poutine You guys really need to make a big change in your service.
