The food was just so so. The fries were not fresh. The chick pea sandwich was really plain. No love at all. Food : 2/5

We had the Bugs Bunny, Latin Fiesta Burger and Mocha Monkey. It was all banging and great value. The staff were welcoming and the music was on point.

Several times a week I eat at Angry Vegan sometimes dining in other times ordering out with Skip the Dishes and it s always been amazing! I like to try new things but at the same time I actually crave meals I ve eaten several times. It s an honest 5 star from me! Love Angry Vegan! Also they have prepared frozen meals and soups you just have to heat up and now meal prep as well!

Great place. The food is awesome, very quick and a lot of options! Great to grab a quick lunch before heading to the beach.

We had the Authentic Latino Pizza, Latin Fiesta Burger and the Strawberry margaritas and all of it was SO GOOD and the service was amazing as well!

Everything youd expect out of a vegan deli! Sandwiches, breakfast wraps, salads, drinks, treats etc.

Absolutely loved this shop, came in from Vancouver and I was looking for a spot for my girlfriend who is vegan for a snack. Was absolutely blown away by the great tasting food and lovely conversations with the owner. Even if youre not Vegan its a must try!!! The bullet proof coffee was amazing and my girlfriends Banana coffee was delicious. Dont miss out on this great menu and ownership team!!!

This place is amazing! Definitely the best lunch spot in Penticton for something healthy and affordable. The chickpea salad sandwich and banana iced coffee were incredible. I can t wait to go back and try more!

I have ordered here frequently, both take out and dine in. Honestly I can say it is so awesome to have comfort style foods that are dairy free. It is so hard to find. I am obsessed with their pizza, burgers and the poutine. The mushroom gravy is amazing!! Vegetarian options: All of the food here is dairy and animal free! Dietary restrictions: There are so many options, such as soups, smoothies, pizza, wraps, burgers, pastas, salads and more! Kid-friendliness: They offer pizza, fries, gravy, smoothies, grilled cheese! Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible.

They are always adding different ingredients and variety to their menu. Our first and last stop every time we come to Penticton. Also, check them out at the Saturday farmers market. Delish!!!

Stopped in for a bite after seeing many positive reviews. A customer in front if us brought in her budgie bird in a large cage, then decided to sit inside w loud bird and put her bird cage on the table. That was pretty gross and unsanitary. Made me and my husband want to choose another place. But we were short on time. The food was tasty, chickpea wrap yummy, black bean burger a bit dry, and poutine was good. Nice lady who worked there. If it wasnt for the loud bird being allowed in, id have enjoyed it more lol

Wonderful little diner in the heart of Penticton serving up very flavorful and interesting vegan fare. The proprietor, Darren, was both friendly and helpful when I asked about other vegan options in town. I had the Latin Fiesta burger and the Fallen juice, both of which were excellent. Will definitely be returning!

The best service! We forgot our fries as part of our take out and didnt notice until we got home. They delivered them on their way home as it was closing time. So kind and very tasty too.

Not a vegan but was visiting Penticton last weekend and wanted to support this business for their welcoming to all stance. Super friendly people that really care about their customers, warm cozy atmosphere and great food at fair prices. The zucchini soup, pizza and smoothies were all fantastic. Will be going there again when I return next month!

This place is an absolute gem. Welcoming and chill vibe. The food is amazeballs!!! The spicy chickpea Buddha Box is my go to, but last night I had one of their meals (lentil loaf and scalloped potatoes) and even my lentil loathing hubby proclaimed how good it was. I work with people who have food sensitivities and am so grateful to have gluten free and plant based options (Angry Vegan Buddha Boxs, soups and burgers if asked) that deliver 1000% flavour. Keep an eye on their social media for their weekly meal specials.

We stopped in at Angry Vegan in Penticton today for lunch and were presented with a fantastic meal. I enjoyed the quinoa Buddha box and DH sampled one of the hand prepared vegan burgers. The meal was delicious and conversation with owner Daren added to our enjoyment. We even learned how the name Angry Vegan came about. Highly recommend!

I reviewed this restaurant when I was upset and deleted that review. I know they have great food and try to please customers. I do want to try some of their other options but because I gave it a poor, over-reactive rating, I want to be fair (which previously I was not!).

As a vegan girl from Vancouver I was floored by this little place. They have amazing options, everything tastes fresh and the flavors are to die for. We ended up going for lunch two days in a row there because its just that good. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Thank you, I will miss this place back home and will dream about the food until I return!

Amazing food! We enjoyed the poutine with house made mushroom gravy and cashew cheese. Beautiful mushroom-meaty flavour without trying to taste like a meat based gravy and just ending up too salty in the process. The Gyro wrap was unbelievable...tasted like the gyros I recall from Greece and nothing like most flavored jackfruit Ive tasted. Phenomenal meal, we wish we could take home to Victoria! Enjoyed meeting the owner and happened to meet the Angry Vegan himself which just enriched our experience all the more. Really hoping to return before we leave the area and highly recommend...enjoy!

My boyfriend and I came here daily on our trip. We are from Vancouver and have MANY vegan places, but angry vegan is by far the best vegan food we have had! Darren (the owner) is so welcoming and friendly. 11/10 recommend !!!

If youre an omnivore thats weary of trying a vegan place - dont be! Ive had Angry Vegan a couple times and they make satisfying, flavorful dishes.

My very carnivorous guy loved the tzatziki burger, and the poutine was excellent. And the owner is a solid guy who really cares about himself and his customers. This place offers lots of options including a frozen takeaway counter and delivery. Im always going to support vegan options because I have alot of dietary needs that vegan food simply meets. This place really worth the drive. All is fresh and home made, with the owners touch. Forget the industrial patties, here you will have real ingredient turned into crazy burgers. Forget also the weird ingredient that your body wont recognize. At Angry Vegan you will be anything but angry!

OMG! Fantastic! The food is amazing! Quick and tasty. Wraps are sooo good. Black or white bean burger with a vegan poutine (fresh cut baked potatoe with mushroom gravy and cashew cheese) MMMMMMM YUMMY! Gonna go again and again. The smoothies are an excellent way to wash it down. Definitely love the banana coffee iced drink!

Heading to Penticton, I was worried Vegan options would be scarce! However, I was pleased to find many options including the awesome Angry Vegan! Here, I tried the refried black bean wrap and it was DELICIOUS!! I also tried out one each of their juice and smoothie options and both were wonderful as well! Everytime I came in, tasteful and enjoyable music was playing and those working at the time were just as wonderful! The owners (I believe they were) seemed very genuine and welcoming. Would definitely reccomend to vegans and non-vegans alike!!

Five of us visited for lunch. I ordered the buddha bowl and peach lemonade which were both very good. Staff there were friendly, but they only had two people working, so it was a bit slow for our 1 hour for lunch. We would go again and would recommend them.

A visit to Penticton is never complete for us without a visit to the Angry Vegan to grab a bite to eat. We have visited numerous times over the past year. The excellent food, exceptional service and the friendly vibe keeps us coming back time and time again. And those pre-meal Ginger Shots are out of this world fantastic. For those with Celiac disease I would not recommend this place. I ate here a few days and notified the staff that I have celiac disease and that i cannot eat anything with wheat. Was promised that everything would be carefully prepared without gluten. After getting and eating the food I suspected that the wrap was not gluten free. The next day I came back and asked the chef if they had used the gluten free wrap. He said that it definitely was a wheat wrap that he used (not gluten free) and did not seem too bothered. Now, I have been stuck to the toilet 4 days after with much intestinal pain because of it. I would expect a progressive cafe to be more careful when preparing their food. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has food allergies. -MP

I got the green warrior burger and it was the yummiest vegan burger Ive had! Highly recommend!

Slow slow service. Don t go here if you re in a rush, thankfully we weren t. I had the black bean burrito and tried some of the chickpea wrap. It tasted quite good, although it was pretty regular. The interior definitely needs work and organizing, not too sure if they just opened or not but it definitely looks like it. Overall decent food and we may have just been unlucky with wait time. My advice would be to order ahead if you can.

Visited twice during my short stay in Penticton. The juices are delicious! They re freshly pressed and never too sweet. I really enjoyed the margaritas as they use fresh limes tastes way better than any bar!

So yummy for a good price. My non vegan coworkers went with me and really enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly. I loved it. Good vibes. Good music. Nice outdoor sitting area. The one downside was how much garbage accompanied the food. It was all in take out containers. Perhaps they would let you put it in your own container? Worth a shot.

Terrible experience. Ordered the Waldorf Salad ($10) and it was iceberg lettuce, a couple raisins and 4 slices of apple. I was flabbergasted this would actually be considered a salad. Poor presentation and completely tasteless. I asked for a different option and cook came back with even a small portion of kale... just kale drenched in lemon and super sour. His comment to me: was it you that complained about my Waldorf salad ? 0/5 for customer service. My friend had a sandwich which looked super generic. The roisbos tea was good. Overall, don t waste your money, it s a joke of a restaurant. But they have a nice selection of teas. And they certainly need to work on the customer service.

Nice to have this choice but ingredients need to be home made, fresh and organic. I would be happy to pay more for fresh salsa and avocado (not store bought), please add herbs like basil and cilantro, fresh lemon... Also, would be nice to minimize use of plastics and have options to compost food, and cardboard containers.

This was a big surprise. It s unassuming from the outside but the menu was great and the food was very flavourful. The owner was lovely and happy to modify my breakfast wrap to my liking (I wanted to combine the scrambled tofu wrap with the refried bean wrap) it turned out delicious. They even make their own homemade hot sauce and it was really yummy! It s definitely more of a cafe vibe than a restaurant but you can absolutely expect a full meal here.

Amazing place, got to know of it on Happy Cow app. Its a great Vegan place, Berry blend smoothie in Almond milk was good. The Refried Black bean wrap with guacamole was yumm and so was the Latin Fiesta burger. Darren was good and asked us if we really liked the food and took feedback (we gave a good one obviously)

Despite the name, the owner is not angry, hes a very friendly guy! This is an unassuming place. The food was extremely tasty! Well seasoned, very nice blend of flavours. We had the refried black bean wrap and the spicy hashbrown wrap, which was a feature. They were both so good, we were very impressed. Also had a slice of banana bread which was delicious as well! Highly recommend this place, the food was well worth the price, especially considering its all homemade. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Misleadingly named; Daren is actually quite friendly :) AV has a great selection of fresh pressed juice made on the spot and the food menu has something for everyone without being overwhelming. Pizza was great!

So great to see a down to earth vegan option in penticton, the staff were super friendly and the location is prime. I wish the menu/wall was a little more clean and legible as we had a hard time seeing options/prices. Worth checking out!!

Brought the whole family for dinner (vegan and non vegan) loved the food and the drinks. Banana coffe is a must try!

Awesome fruit smoothies and vegan pizza!!! Must try the banana iced coffee and green products overall! Perfect stop after floating down Penticton channel or hanging around Barefoot Beach resort and camp ground!!!
