Im not too crazy about the chicken. Its not the service, its the recipe itself. Doesnt make me want to come back on a regular basis, its a bit too greasy for me.

Came in with my buddy to order a Big Mary w/ taters. The taters came out luke-warm and I asked for them to be exchanged. The manager was extremely argumentative and disrespectful saying that box is warm therefore the taters are warm. I offered for him to try one and he started going belgerant. The manager needs to take a class on hospitality and treat customers with respect.

This is the most cleanest place you will EVER visit! I know first hand that the workers here have to wash their hands before every task. Management here is top notch!

Best fast food chain out of all the fast food chains! The chicken is better than Popeyes and KFC or any other fast food restaurant that serves chicken!! The chicken pop ins (popcorn chicken), Nashville taters and gravy they make are the most delicious I have ever consumed!!! Great service and atmosphere as well...if you have never tried Mary Browns you have to experience it at least once!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!!

Long story....placed an order for 13 peice meal through Valley Eats....time was pushed back 3 times...so it took 1 1/2hr to receive order!! Once received it was missing the lg Tators...I msged ....the restaurant closed so we could not get them!! Next morning I messaged Valleyeats asking if a lg fries could be delivered that day so I could use my large gravy I also paid for....the restaurant refused!! Said they would credit my Valleyeats account $9.59 for Lg fries....I asked to be re-embursed for lg gravy as it was useless without fries!! Restaurant refused again!! I also noted that lg fries are $10.59 on website not $9.59??? Still no attempt to resolve from restaurant!! I then reached out to restaurant myself...I called and asked for a Manager...the person on phone said there was not one there. I then asked when one would be there. The woman on phone replied 4pm. She then asked if I would like to speak with the owner and I replied absolutely!! Then she replied you are speaking to her...OK why did you not identify yourself immediately as the owner?? So I proceed to express my frustration about the missing food and length of time we waited for our order. She then blamed Valleyeats stating she doesnt control the drivers...by this point I am getting angry!! All I want is what is fair to me... I asked to have fries delivered today so I could utilize my lg gravy but she refused to do that, even though I paid for them the night before. She refused to re-emburse me for my lg gravy as I felt they should... as I had nothing to put gravy on...the owner refused....when asked what I would use my gravy for...her response was that it was not up to her to tell me how to eat my gravy!! What??? What type of unhelpful response was that??? So, now Im angrier trying to explain myself...the owner insults me...calls me rude and aggressive... I explain that I too, work in Customer Service, and how I understand the importance of pleasing paying customers to the best of their ability....and that I felt that the restaurant should be willing to do that...she became angry, insulted me and then hung up on me!! It is so unfortunate as we had just recently tried this restaurant for the 1st time a week ago....loved it so much we decided to order again last night....however due to how I was spoken to and treated by owner....we wont be returning!! Lesson..when you make a mistake....OWN IT!! Then make it right....in my experience thats all people want and expect...so just do the right thing!! June 1st Update - $10.49 returned to me on credit at Valleyeats disappointing!!

Ordered 4 peice received 2 peice. They screwed others orders while we were there as well. Manager is as ignorant as can be. They should of delivered instead of hanging up on customer. and head office will be getting call.

I came in there and order 4 pieces of chicken meal and instead for home with a 2 piece I noticed other reviews of people saying the same thing. I have gone into Ottawa and got excellent service there so I think management and training needs to be rethought cause this place in Petawawa is putting a bad name to Mary browns chicken

I tried calling Mary Browns to place the order but apparently the voice mail hasnt been set up so we went to the store in Petawawa I tried to explain to the lady at the counter that the voice mail hasnt been set up yet she rudely responded we dont have time to answer the phone so I didnt argue wirh her anymore just placed my order and waited patiencently for it and left now I have company over and it would have been faster if I could of placed my order the phone dinner was not so bad last time we ordered it it was sooo salty gross but this time if was better.

If I could give a zero star for my chicken fingers, i would. They served flattened pieces of chicken and heavy over fried breading. It was a carb snack, not a protein. Any locations I have been to the pieces were plump and juicy. 10 bucks for deep fred flour. Thanks

I love mary browns the food is great however this location leaves alot to be desired. i go a couple times a month, 3 times now ive been passed over at the counter and my food has not come out until the point i go up and complain (usually after waiting at least 20 mins) only to find the kitchen has no idea i even ordered and my food isnt eve started yet. this time i was given a coupon for a free mary brown sandwich for my next visit. However i wuill never be back to this location of mary browns im sick and tired of wasting my entire lunch hour waiting for incompetent staff to help me, rather make hotdogs at work!!!!

Ordered hot chicken sandwich one night and got Big Mary Chicken sandwich so tried to order Hot Chicken Sandwich another night and order taker did not know what we were talking about. They no longer have this item and you can not phone in an order as the phone goes to voicemail. Off my list

The only complaint...over priced

This is the third time Ive ordered a big Mary meal to get just the breaded portion of the chicken. No chicken just the breading, not to mention the chicken sizes have decreased to the point that $14 is not worth it. Send when we called in regards to the chickenless big Mary they just said ok sorry. I understand you cant send another,thats fine but at least own up to your mistakes instead of brushing customers off.

I ordered a big Mary this evening and there was no chicken in the burger only breading. I called the location and I was met with an awkward call from an employee who just said oh ok sorry and said goodbye. Long story short I am now stuck making myself another dinner because there was no chicken in my burger ..

They have messed up orders in the past but today an item wasn t delivered and they just said they sent it no offer of refund or to resend the item. They basically said we lied. Passed the info on to main Mary Browns and have decided no more with this restaurant.

Order was missing 2 ranch and a chicken sandwich and 1 drink was wrong. Came back and was treated like I was trying steal. Lady in the back said she put everything in the bag and that it was right. Not the first time either if I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible experience.

Ordered online. Ordered spicy chicken and paid extra for dark meat only. Got the exact opposite of what I ordered. Got regular chicken and mainly white meat. I ordered a chicken sandwich that didnt taste good or look appetizing. Order from somewhere else.

We Ordered Mary Browns tonight for Dinner the young chap very polite took our order on the phone very informative came to the store st the right time to receive our order and had it ready on time for us to take it home. We would definitely choose Nary Browns over KFC. AG

Ordered a 9 piece meal and pop ins. When we got home the pop ins were missing. Instead of offering apology I was placed on hold while they looked into it was questioned several times if I was sure I didn t receive them. When my mom went to pick them back up was laughed at by the staff when she expressed an issue with paying for a now cold meal. Customer service is horrible. They don t care to make it right and laugh at people when they complain. We will never eat here again.

I have been going to Mary Browns regularly since they opened, but have never left a google review. This store is fantastic - always friendly staff, and both the staff and the owner will know frequent fliers by name. The food is always delicious, and the welcome and service is truly unparalleled. I d give more stars if I could but I highly recommend this location!

Its good if looking for basic fried chicken. Not too greasy like another well-known fried chicken chain that used to have a location in Petawawa. The gravy is tasty but has a distinct mass-produced-fast-food taste. Not bad, but obviously dont expect anything spectacular. Wedges were nice. Sometimes big fat wedges like that are inconsistently cooked or not cooked all the way through, but not these ones. Service was prompt and friendly,price was reasonable for the amount of food I got.

Friendly and gracious Management and staff. I will definitely be making this a staple choice for my family and I when we decided to have dinner out/in!

It was very good, but very greasy, contrary to what their website says. The restaurant was very clean and bright and modern. Their apple pie was delicious. The mens washroom was clean, but no hot water, and no way to dry your hands.

Best chicken in town, also very well respected workers, very nice and sincere, the way they treated an elderly couple on a date while I was there was above and beyond anything I ever seen in any establishment. Incredible staff and food.

Great restaurant. The staff and owner Lori are fantastic providing a friendly atmosphere and great food. As an old sailor from the rock just passing through it was nice to meet such a genuinely friendly person and great restaurant.

Chicken was really good but the tater poutin was very very salty. Will be going back for the chicken for sure however it is pretty expensive $35 bucks for 2 meals but we got poutin with both and one got a desert.

Food is pretty good, casheir was super nice. My friend ordered food after me and was giving a discount so she can save money on her meal. I noticed a free dessert cupon and asked if I could get it...the casheir put the order in and handed me my receipt with a smile. Her supervisor, in the back started to scold her for not punching in the order correctly in front of the customers. I personally think that could have waited until your line was gone and you could have pulled her into the back. My friend also got yelled at for voicing his opinion on a CHICKEN WRAP. Not going to lie having a manager yell at my friend and her employee is not good ever....

Im not much of a deep fried chicken fan because Ive never had a good experience at any of the fried chicken chains. So I ordered the over priced chicken sandwich as a back up in case I didnt like the chicken. Well my dog had a snack when we got home! Lmao This was yet another fail! Was so disappointed with quality for the cost. Extremely disappointed! Bought this for my family to dine in. Wasnt pleased with quality. The wedges werent even hot or fresh the chicken was same way. If you want a bland, cardboard tasting, luke warm chicken dinner thats over priced youve found the spot! The staff are friendly but werent very reliable at filling the order properly or asking you for what options youd like. Me as a new customer never been there before would assume to be walked through it. That definitely didnt happen. Asked what options we had and tried to puzzle it together myself (I have bad eyes and didnt have my glasses on so that didnt help matters, dont worry I didnt drive!). We had to go up several times to ask for things they forgot that were missing and the key components to the dinner. I was respectful and patient as I knew this was newly opened and figured the staff were a bit new to the job or not trained properly. Overall, not a great experience and definitely will not be back.
