This restaurant was closed for months (so they could go away) and was supposed to open in May which it didn’t. They finally opened in June. We ordered the same items as we did previously before it closed. Before it closed we paid just under $80. This time it cost $111.83. When asked why the price was so high and such a difference from the last time we ordered we were told that prices have increased. That’s a ridiculous increase and our soup containers were only 3/4 full. This is unacceptable.
Just finding the cost of Chinese food is going up with every visit so we have to.get a new menu everytime... ( yes the cost of food is going up I understand) but woe this is crazy... everybody is very friendly and always busy....wait times are crazy too..but hey its a.treat every once awhile...hey have a great day eh..cheers
Visiting family in Petawawa this past weekend and decided to treat everyone to Chinese. We've ordered from here before and it's always been okay, not great, but okay. This time a few of the dishes just tasted 'off'. Fortunately the little ones stuck to the chicken balls and rice because those of us that ate the off-tasting dishes were sick with food poisoning. My wife and I are seniors and it has taken until today to finally get over this and start feeling somewhat better. What a truly horrible experience for us.
Ordered for Mother's Day and everyone of us are now up from 11pm on (it is now 1:52am) with food poisoning. Including our toddler who thankfully barely ate anything but enough to make him sick also. We've ordered here multiple times and this is the first time there has been a serious issue. Being so busy with 2 hour wait times is okay during special occasions. Everyone understands that. Letting health and food safety slip through the cracks in whatever manner (cross contamination, unsafe food temperature, lack of hand hygiene, etc.) ... is not.
They won't accommodate a shrimp allergy. Just completely refused to try to avoid cross contamination. Said "we won't wash our cutting boards or woks. Shrimp allergy means no food". It's not like we tried to order on a Saturday or something. It was a Tuesday evening at 5:30. So ya if you have a shrimp or full shellfish allergy you won't be served.
Always hot and delicious, the food isn't over salted and won't have you gulping water at 3 AM. Generous portions and the veggies are always perfectly cooked and fresh/crunchy. So good. We can feed our whole family for 100.00 pretty sweet deal
We always enjoy our takeout dinners from GoGo China! Decent prices and good food every time we go. If you get takeout, your food WILL be hot, which is better than can be said about many restaurants. Very rarely have we had any bits of meat that are a touch chewy, other than that we really can’t complain. Love the chicken soft noodles, fried rice and black pepper beef!
We were bicycling across Canada and needed a good meal with lots of veggies. We got it here. The waitress helped sift through the menu with patience because this was our first time in the restaurant. In good time she brought us two well prepared dishes of ample size and with excellent meats and vegetables. I would certainly return to this restaurant.

Went off of there website prices to make order then once ordered Prices dont match got told menu changed few weeks ago but we dont update our website as much as our menu in store sad to see them going this way poor management style Good food but poor management

I had a great meal from there. The staff is so nice, they even brought me food to my car despite that it was raining and I had specifically told them that I would get it myself. It wasnt soo spicy, or too sour and they kindly accommodated a vegetarian preference. What a great service!
Go go China has good food but a little pricy for what little amount you get I use to get a dinner for two and was reasonable but now a little pricy for smaller take out dishes , the atmosphere is clean and the staff is so welcoming ,I give them 3out 5 due to price

We Love Gogo China. The staff is always friendly. Honest review -1 star because it never fails that I get a chunk of gristle in my chicken and my egg roll is usually dry.
Portions are tiny! Prepare to still be hungry! Other local Chinese joints put this one to shame ! Sorry!

Its better to get take-out here than eat there. Because our entire order was served in plastic containers on the table, including plastic plates and cutlery. If we had known that GoGo China was a takeaway business, we would have chosen a different business. What did we eat? No. 15 Hot&Sour soup: was ok but not spicy enough. No. 15 from the Thai Special menu: Singapore noodles: tasted very bland, barely tasted any curry flavor. Moreover, this dish does not belong in Thai cuisine! No. S8 from the Chefs Special menu: Tai Dop Voy: this vegetable mix with BBQ pork, chicken and shrimp was well stir-fried and tasted great. The vegetables were nice and crispy, so of the 3 dishes ordered, this was the tastiest. The Steamed Rice, No. 26, we had to order separately. The dishes were small portions. I dont think that is enough for an average eater, but it is for us smaller eaters.

Everything we ve tried on the menu has been great so far. The garlic broccoli is my favourite, and you can t go wrong with any of the Lo Mein options. I have ordered a few times and always get great service.

I absolutely love Gogo China! Saucy and delicious, well priced, usually dont have to wait very long for food orders. I have not had a bad experience at this restaurant. I might have to make a special trip back to Petawawa for a treat!

Its always fresh! Never tasts like old fryer, and doesnt leave you guzzling water at 2 AM! If you go in to pick up you can see the staff on the line cooking and working the wokk. They have some authentic dishes as well as the Amercan Classics. Favourites being; Beef Lo mein, General tso chicken, the chicken balls have a decent amount of chicken. Always Hits the spot.

Due to Covid we were not able to eat inside but if we ordered shrimp with mixed vegetables.....hummmm excellent. Clean restaurant, courteous, polite people.
Orange beef is my new favourite from here. The chicken dishes are hit or miss, sometimes they are chewy or fresh.

I have eaten here when there first opened. It was great! Now everything has the same stale taste. The chicken balls were doughy and nothing like the first time. The veggies had an expired taste and the chicken fried rice was unreasonably dry. I recommend New Asian Cuisine in downtown Pembroke. They are the best! Be willing to wait though.

Fair prices, friendly owners and staff. Good portion sizes. Never been disappointed. Beef soft noodles are great, and anything with their black pepper sauce. Small dining area and washrooms are always clean.

Good food but found hair in multiple dishes
We ordered General Tao chicken. First it was the wrong color so already you can tell it s not right. It s absolutely not spicy whatsoever. The rice served with it tasted terrible. But the ultimate worst part is, it tasted like Fish... really? Fish?!?! Disgusting and for the price of expect a minimum of greens, veggies something. Nope. I don t recommend.
Got a dinner for 3 the other day. General TSOs Chicken tasted like fish. Since I didnt order anything fishy, I took it as a bad sign so didnt eat it. Egg Rolls, well they definitely are different from what Im used to. The rest of the items were okay but I think the next time I get Chinese Food it will be in Ottawa.
Good greasy Chinese food, although some dishes are better than others. The General Tao Chicken, which is always a brave choice at these places, is rather good, although the soup left something to be desired.

The food is decently priced for the amount and quality that you get. The chicken balls arent usually too over battered unlike other restaurants. The service is friendly and the food is hot.
Im a picky eater so I havent tried alot of the food from there but having had their sesame chicken, chicken balls, battered shrimp, and spring rolls, I really like the food, I may branch out on future orders and pick up something different. The staff are quiet but very friendly and complete orders as fast as they can. Will definitely be going back.

Terrible. And I dont like posting reviews based on one visit. We had gone a few times a few years ago and it was okay. I now remember why we havent gone back in so long. We went tonight (New Years Eve) after our other place had a longer wait than we were willing to do. Ordered sesame chicken (with fried rice and egg roll), thai basil chicken, and chicken wings. The thai basil chicken was an overcooked gluey mess that I couldnt even eat. The chicken wings were still all in one piece (drum, wing, and tip) and tasted slimy and strange. Im told the fried rice and sesame chicken were edible. The egg roll was forgotten from our order. Complete waste of money as probably 75% of it was thrown out, and a total waste of time waiting for it. We are now heating up a frozen pizza.

Tried first day they opened and was good. Food quality has gone downhill. Got food poisoning last time. Would not recommend. When you go in to pick up order you can see all the preprepped food lying around on trays. Is also expensive a package of chicken balls contains about eight and is mainly dough cost $9.50.
