Ottawa Valley Coffee (OVC) is a family owned and operated business with four locations. Renfrew, Arnprior, Almonte and Petawawa. OVC provides each town with a community hub. The focus is to provide amazing coffee, fresh baked goods, local craft beer from microbreweries and locally made goods! One of the goals is to support as many local businesses as possible while maintaining high quality and consistency within every aspect of the business. Being a gathering spot for everyone from the community is incredibly important and we are proud to support all members of each community especially those going through difficult times through various charity initiatives. We are more than just Coffee!
If you're looking for a coffee shop that feels like a warm hug on a chilly day, this place is it! The charming decor and the little nook with a comfy armchair and couch create the perfect spot to unwind with a book or catch up with friends. I love that they support local small businesses as well by providing a section to share of the locally made products. Their Petawawa Fog is so yummy—a dreamy blend of Earl Grey tea, frothy steamed milk, and a hint of caramel that makes it the ultimate comfort drink. The staff are friendly and clearly passionate about what they do, and the menu offers a great selection for coffee and tea lovers alike. Whether you’re here for a quick pick-me-up or to linger for hours, this spot has you covered. Highly recommend for anyone in search of a cozy haven with amazing drinks!
It was a pleasure to discover this amazing Gem! With Gluten free baked goods and a warm and friendly atmosphere, this place is a perfect spot to meet up with friends. Definitely worth checking out!
Ordered coffee, cookies, muffins and scones for each day of a three day meeting. Everyone stated that everything they ate was delicious, fresh and still warm when we first received them. My favourite was the ginger cookie. Others really like the savoury scones with ham and cheese in them.
This place is awesome. The coffee is great. New favourite spot. Only thing I would say is I wish the menu was in a little bit of a clearer spot. Even if they had a QR code I could scan while I was walking in would be a help but otherwise it was a super cool shop with super friendly staff.
This is the first time we have been here after a long anticipated wait to have somewhere local to spend a casual Sunday morning. I ordered a dirty chai and ginger doodle cookie, both were great! My fiancé had a matcha latte and a breakfast sandwich which was also really good. The service and vibe here is just what we are looking for to add to our weekend routine in town. We will be back!
I nipped into Ottawa Valley Coffee, when I saw a post about gluten free cupcakes. Let me say, they did not disappoint! I have had to be gluten free for about 15 years, I didn’t miss bread or various other things. However, I missed cupcakes the most. Well, not any more. They were delicious. In the past 15 years I have failed to find a coffee shop with more than one gluten free option, and if I did, there would be dairy in the option, so I could not eat it. I was provided with an option that did not contain either. The atmosphere was lovely, relaxing and zen. The owner was hospitable, friendly, enthusiastic and engaging. While I was picking up my cupcakes I noticed college students the their laptops, having a great time. What a lovely thing to witness, a safe space where people can create connections and memories, over a sweetie and an amazing coffee! A huge congratulations to the owners Will and Kelsey. Thanks guys. You successfully created a lovely space to escape too. Amazing experience.
Today was my first visit to your coffee shop and more. The atmosphere is warm and very inviting. My pumpkin latte was made just right with the perfect sweetness. The staff was very friendly, we he knew it was my first time there he had a chat with us about some of the products they have on site. What impressed me the most is how they support local. I wish you great success in the town of Petawawa.!!!
Drove by to check the progress of the coffee shop. By my surprise it's open. Walked in and was in aww. Beautiful little place. We were greated right away. I had a carrot/pineapple muffin and an Americano. Delicious better then that other place. Wife had ginger cookie and a vanilla latte. Both were really good. Wife said she prefers Ottawa Valley Coffee's over hers. Overall great first experience keep it up!!! New spot for Sundays I think so.
First time visiting and I will be back! Ordered a Petawawa Fog and it was excellent :)

Great coffee. Great people
Once I discovered this little gem in Petawawa I have yet to go anywhere else. It provides me with all my caffeinated needs and even delicious treats that pair beautify. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and make you feel valued. I would personally like to thank Richelyn, Kelsey, Grace, and Will for making such an effort and you can rely on my continued patronage. Vegetarian options: I do believe all their treats are vegan
This is a wonderful new gem in Petawawa! The atmosphere is so welcoming and the drinks & snacks are just amazing. They have a local craft goods market as well with beautiful local items. This place is a must for locals and visitors!
Great vibe. Mochas are excellent. A much needed place in Petawawa

Coffee is amazing, lovely service and great atmosphere
I was visiting my SO from Waterloo. I spent around 6 hours at this coffee shop studying while he was at work nearby. Everyone was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and peaceful. Thank you for the delicious drinks and for letting me stick around :)
