I cannot believe the base administration! Not sure of your decision making procedures But this has not been thought through!!!! There is history here that is being overlooked. Paul and your team Thanks for everything you have brought to the golf community throughout the valley
Just there for the fireworks, amazing as always very well kept and clean
Visited the club for New Year's party and thoroughly enjoyed the event. The staff are excellent and very attentive. The food served was delicious. The band played almost with no breaks and great assortment of tunes that kept the dancefloor busy throughout the night. Highly recommended this and I'll be back soon.
2 Stars, doesn't mean it's all bad, it's in a great location but the course needs a lot of love. The tee boxes, fairways, need a lot of attention as they are really hard and the grass is patchy. For the price, it's decent value, you don't really have a ton of options in the area but it's worth a nice afternoon on the course. The course is sitting right on the edge of the Ottawa river and the views are really nice.
The new chef as of late June 2022 is exceptional. We have breakfast there most weekends. Yum and amazing view! You can even have a drink.
Where do I start… we booked this venue for our wedding reception at the end of August 2021 and let me tell you it was an unforgettable experience. Everything from the photo opportunities, food service and decorations - it was all perfect. My wife and I decided to have a plated dinner with prime rib or pork tenderloin which both were absolutely delicious. Every person who attended the reception complemented the food and to makes things even better, the servers were top notch. Any request big or small was completed in a very timely fashion and all dietary restrictions were well managed. As for the decorations, what the hall was able to supply was an outstanding selection of table clothes, runners, chair covers, head table scenery, candles - they had it all. Obviously we brought our own decorations as well and all colours complemented each other perfectly! When it came to photo opportunities this place has one of the best views in the entire Ottawa Valley. Over looking the Ottawa River provided us with a very elegant background and with the golf course in behind it was very beautiful, even our photographers expressed how amazing the views were. Overall if you are thinking of having a reception at this venue do not hesitate as it books up fast and now I understand why! Everything was perfect throughout the entire evening and I can’t express how helpful the event coordinator and staff were. Both my wife and I would do it all over again if we could.
A good challenge especially without a cart. Scenic, not long, double in 4hrs or less. Not in very good shape, greens or fairways... Covid probably. Fairly priced. Good wings and beer. Insiders feel the course will be closed permanently in near future. Last chance to loose a few more balls...
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The venue is very nice and reception hall always looks nice for the events.

Not sure how anyone could give this place 5 stars. Place is a joke. Bad pro service, bad cart path, bad fairways, bad parking lot. Walk thru dining room to get to pro shop. Joggers, cyclists, and people walking their dogs on course, yes dogs doing there business on the course. Save your money and go somewhere else anywhere but here. Yikes!!! SO BAD!!!
Great place to golf
It s unfortunate as the course has such beautiful potential. Played a major tourn on the weekend. Greens were not cut, not one bunker has a rake, no definition between fairway and rough. Majority of holes you have to search for actual grass to hit from, to include the tee blocks. I really wish this current management would invest some effort in a real jewel of the valley.

The views there amazing from the childrens playground near by. The trail is snowed in and can be done with older kids even in the winter. We were there sitting, on the mental benches, enjoying the great views for the river
It was snowqually and bitterly cold but the kids enjoyed sledding, though.

Back nine was in horrible condition. Front was better. I will try other courses next time. Not impressed with my experience here.
Most spectacular scenery and people are so friendly and of course. Feel safe because of military presence! Almost makes you not want to leave such a beautiful place!!
Went to a wedding September 2021. The ceremony was outside overlooking the majestic Ottawa river. The reception followed in the hall. Not only are the views absolutely spectacular, the decorations were breathtaking. The servers were all courteous and attentive. The meal was delicious. Enjoyed dinner on the patio with what is truly the best view of any patio in Petawawa! Food is great and reasonably priced. Servers were attentive and always smiling. The live entertainment was perfect! Great place for a date night or casual dinner with friends. Would definitely recommend !!
Excellent venue for an outdoor wedding and indoor party! Dont forget to call Petawawa Taxi when youre done so you dont have to drink and drive!
Its a great course with friendly and accommodating staff. After a round you can enjoy a drink or a meal with the best view in the valley

So, you like gorgeous views of the Ottawa river while walking on the course? This is the spot. The only place I have played golf and watched a goose scare off a bear for the right to steal my golf ball. Whats not to like about that.
Excellent location, great people....
Great challenging course, if youre left or right off the tee there isnt much room on most holes. Shes tight and can be a ball eater for the most part. Greens and fairways usually in great shape and Paul and his staff run things pretty smoothly up top. Also makes you feel like a pro when theres a wedding reception or people dining on the patio by the 9th green. Feels good though when you hit a good shot and the crowd goes wild.
I dont golf, but people are allowed to walk at their own risk along the riverside path. This is an absolutey gorgeous spot. Be sure to catch the view from the club house.
Great staff, great food and great prices
Edit: Went today (Fathers Day) and the course was terrible. To our surprise the first green was temporary, then the second and we realized the whole course was temporary greens. The greens were half the length of the height of the golf ball and/or full of weeds. There were no fairways. They were all the length of rough and mostly dried out. If you hit a good tee shot, it didnt really matter because you wouldnt have a good lie for your second shot anyway. Stopped for a break after thr first nine no one asked how our round was going, nor did they ask at the end or thank us for coming, only a sir youre going the wrong way, when my partner had to use the bathroom. The best part of the course were seeing the families of geese, but that still was3nt worth the money. If we were told ahead of time, like when we booked over the phone, called again to change the tee time or when we checked in then at least we would have been able to make a decision if we wanted to play there or not. Instead they decided to take our money and run. I will never be coming back here. For the price we paid, we could have played elsewhere for much less, much better conditions and customer service. If youre looking to play a course in the Valley, go try Whitetail or Oaks of Cobden. September 2019 Beautiful course with some challenging but fun holes. Great condition. Staff also very friendly! Will be back to play here.

Paul and Karen (Mangers) go out of there way for you to to enjoy a great golf experience. 11 OF THE 18 HOLES ARE OPEN do to the flooding in the area.

Excellent food, although the price is a little steep for what it is. However, at the end of a round of golf, its a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere with friendly staff and clean facilities.

I booked this hall on our wedding day and this is going to be my most honest review. A week or so before the wedding, I went for a tasting and the food was amazing. The soup was homemade, portions were good... the day off, when the food came out I cried. The soup was Campbell s soup, some people had no noodles or too many noodles in their dishes. I had 12 vegetarian people there and apparently the owner didn t bother looking at my floor plan because I had my vegetarian guests labelled and they didn t even get soup. The main course came out and it was cold, and way smaller portions. I am just so disappointed because the tasting wasn t the same food at all and the owners excuse was it was a different chef. I m sorry but that is no excuse. It was really upsetting. I paid $50 for my niece to have the roast beef like the adults and she was served chicken nuggets.... my mother in law is gluten free and when her food came out they had no idea what she was talking about and they were super rude. The view was amazing but I would never recommend this place for a wedding...
My rating should be zero stars but Google wont let me rate it that so its 1 star. My friend and I went to play a relaxing round of golf and we were rushed all day by who seemed to be the manager. He was just constantly hovering around us telling us to hurry up. I dont understand how fast he wanted us to play but it was a horrible experience and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Not even my worst enemy ! To top it all off, while we were putting at our last hole we hear someone yell hurry up! People are waiting (there wasnt anyone waiting). It was the same manager guy ! I dont know what his deal is but his customer service was absolutely non existent and was a complete jerk to both of us. Will never come back here ever again.

Beautiful full service facility! Was there recently to photograph a corporate Christmas party and the decor, staff and atmosphere was coordinated extremely well. Would recommend for any event.

We had an amazing time here on the long weekend. The patio has amazing views. The staff is incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The food was hot and delicious. Well worth the visit!
