A wonderful trip back in time! The rooms were very clean, the staff were very accommodating and it’s a one stop shop for all of your travel needs. We loved our stay.
The parking is terrible for a hotel. Never had to chase housekeeping for room servicing so many times. We left the sign out for service while they were cleaning rooms on our floor. Still had to chase them later and they had gone home. Got new towels and that was all until the next day when we caught her and got what we needed. Garbage emptied more toilet paper. Nice that there was a laundromat, pizza place and convience store located on first floor. This establishment is located on the main road so busy for walking ect. The greyhound bus stop is also out front and blocks the parking area when it arrives.
Rooms were okay but the air conditioner made too much noise while you were trying to sleep. Staff when checking seemed snobby like why are you here? Looked down on but the morning staff when checking were very pleasant
224+ dollars later: rooms are being advertised for 101 a day later. Plumbing is very loud, expensive jacuzzi didn’t even work, everything was unplugged when we entered the room and the fridge needed hours to cool down to be even useable. This was not communicated. It was 28 degrees in the room and the AC wasn’t turned on. Due to this, in 40+ degree weather It also took time to cool down the room. Stairwell is dingy and dirty plus no ac in the hallways. Loved carrying everything up two flights of stairs in 40+ degree weather. Took advantage of me by over charging me due to a late reservation (due to personal emergency). Every time someone flushed their toilet I was woken up. Felt like a hole apartment on top of a convenient store I would never think of renting. Such a waste of money. Wished I had slept in my car.
Large, cozy rooms with coffee maker and microwave. I got a ground floor room near the exit where I parked just outside, which was very convenient. Breakfast included.
This place was lit. Awesome for military families who want to visit. Everything you need is in the same building. Store for munchies. Pizza place, laundry mat. Good price and has that homey feel. Was there for 3 days and it was a better price than the other ones
We were lucky to Rebecca as our person. She was kind, helpful and an amazing hostess! This quaint little inn has everything but a pool. It has discounts at its restaurant/bar as well as free billiards for guests. We would stay here again while visiting my son.
Lovely place to stay. The kitchenette room was perfect, everything you would need for cooking was there, and the room itself was very clean. People were talking very loudly in our hallway each night, even at 1:30 a.m. but I can't really hold the inn accountable I guess. The river behind the inn was nice to look at but nothing could be seen from the rooms so that was disappointing. The inn is attached to a convenience store, laundry mat, and restaurant. There are plenty of brochures featuring sites to check out. If you go around the side, there is a bar with cheap pool. If you show your key for the motel room to staff, you get 20% off your food. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Stayed here one night quick trip. Had a quiet enjoyable stay. Rooms were very clean. Friendly staff. Convenience store and restaurant onsite made it that much more convenient.
Very clean and the reception was friendly and thorough explaining the amenities at the Inn as well as discounts available to guests and after hour entrance and key for guests. They have a night attendant in emergencies. They have a restaurant and a take out pizza place as well as a gift shop. The rooms have full kitchenettes including pots and pans and an induction hot plate, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. It s conveniently located on the Petawawa River hence the name right beside CFB Petawawa. There s a large Canex Superstore on base only a couple of kms away to buy whatever food you need to cook or anything you may have forgotten to bring for a good price. I come to Petawawa more often nowadays so I ve been trying all the different hotels/motels for the best value especially if you re staying for a longer duration. This place fits the bill best for the price point as well as the available kitchenette option. I was staying at the end of the hall with only one room beside me. The guests beside me had a big dog who was young. The dog was running around and they were taking it out at 1 or 2 am. I hardly got any sleep. I called the desk because tonight they left the poor dog alone. The dog was barking and crying for hours and hours. It is the hotel s responsibility to ensure that guests like this are dealt with and not be dismissive of other guests who voice complaints because they are being disturbed. When I called, the response I received was we know about the dog and we told her . I informed the desk that they were up half the night running around with the dog and I m getting no sleep. The owner of the dog did not come back. This has turned into a poor experience. I liked the location and amenities but not the reception and disregard for guests.

Location was great. The convenience of having a store and restaurant on the main floor was awesome. The room is basic, but for the price, it was more than acceptable. We didnt hear any noise from outside the room at all. Very quiet. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were the best! Will definitely stay again when overnighting in the area.
Room is basic but water is hot, bed is comfortable and room is clean. Great value for the price. Small issue with the TV that was personally resolved by the owner. Excellent service, convenient to everything you could need and store is well stocked. Pub is a nice convenience as well. Support local entrepreneurs and stay here instead of a chain!

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staffs were terrific. They went over and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pembroke or Petawawa!
Like all national parks in Canada, huge. Many lakes and gorges. You cant look at everything
I dont know why this is only a 2 star hotel because it had everything you could ever need. Bed was big and comfy, the TV was massive, jacuzzi was nice, there is a microwave, fridge with freezer, plates, cutlery and even a toaster. The furniture was solid wood and had so much storage space. Only 2 things that I disliked was the sound of the air conditioner and using the stairs(especially after using the bar behind the hotel lol) the staff was friendly and quick to check me in and out.
Room was great. Very neat and clean and a a little kitchenette to cook things. Conveniently located near the park trail across the street..which I highly recommend. Pub and restaurant on side with a patio over looking the river.

Clean, affordable, comfortable beds, lots of parking out back if you dont want to park in the front, nice bar and grill (food and drinks) they also have a Greco Express down stairs! convenient location, the convenience store has everything you need/ forgot lol. Staff is friendly, i certainly have a few favorite staff members there. Thanks for having us Jamie. Cooper, Barbie and Grace thank you for making our stay so much easier every time.

Really nice room, very spacious and well organized. The beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. I wish they would have turned the AC and fridge on beforehand because it took hours to cool down. Otherwise no complaints!

Very friendly at front desk and we had the honey moon suite it was so nice bed and pillows are really comfortable.
clean rooms and good service
Reception staff was a bit unprofessional and underqualified, didnt know how to recover our online reservation and stated he could not give us our rate ! charged us arbitrary nightly rate which turned out to be bad value. Overpriced, there is nothing on the facilities and if you are traveling this place will not provide you the night stay needed to replenish for the road ahead. Skip Days inn and maybe even Petawawa...

Every time my Grey Hound bus, no matter the time,they seem to never have a fresh pot of coffee ON !!! They have to know the schedule for the Greyhound that lets them know that a full bus load of people(customers),which I find quite peculiar!! BUT Hey!!! What Do I know??! Im just a customer who likes COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!

Stopped here on my way to Ottawa for a bite to eat with the bus. Possibly a good place to stay but we only went to the pizza place inside a small store.

Room was clean with lots of space. HOWEVER online it said plus free breakfast but they will only give you a 20% discount. When I confronted them about it they said it mustve been a google mistake

If you are a loud drunk who likes to knock over the bus sign onto peoples cars then this place is for you. The bar plays loud music on Fridays and Saturdays. Pets allowed but they put you on the third floor and there is no elevator. No good place to walk your pet, unless you go across the busy street to the river trail.

This place is the best . Clean huge rooms. Excellent soaps shampoos etc. Really nice tv. Iron coffe tea all in room. Just 2 minutes from CFB pettawawa. Nice paved walking path along the rapids of the pettawa river. Come here on a sad note burying my sister. So they offered their rooms for 50.00 a night. Wow.. . Staff were above courteous. Beckers corner store in motel. Free am coffee. My rating is 5 star.

The room was quite nice but was at the back corner of the building and there was some loud vibrating machinery below the room. While lying in the bed, I could feel the whole room vibrating with a low pitch hum! It was quite difficult to get any rest with the noise. Also, the room was supposed to include a free continental breakfast. What was included was stale convenience store coffee, over ripe fruit, or unwrapped cookies (again from the convenience store so we had no idea how old they were). This is not a continental breakfast.

Fantastic value .clean and spacius rooms. No elevator but only 3 floors good exercise. Staff is very friendly and accomadating and includes continental breakfast!
Family has stayed here and absolutely love it. You could walk to base entrance from hotel. Attached to pronto 24 hour store. Laundry services available as well as great discounts for extended stays. Definitely recommended.
While up here for an extended stay, I lodged at another local (Deep River) suite hotels. The Petawawa River Inn and Suites was heads and shoulders better both in terms of modern décor and facilities. The staff is friendly and accommodating and a free continental breakfast was offered.
