Recently stayed at this hotel for a silver stick hockey tournament our team signed up for. The minute we showed up at the hotel to check in, we were harassed by management staff about the hockey stick my U15 aged son was holding with his equipment. We were abruptly, and rudley informed that hockey sticks were not allowed in the hotel lobby or in our guest room. This is the first time ever we have heard about restrictions to what we were allowed to bring into our own private room that we rented at a hockey tournament or anywhere else. We have been doing this a long time, and to be honest, I was caught completely off guard by the rudeness of the manager suggesting that we would somehow break the sprinkler system or be responsible for all damages to the hotel if we brought in our sticks to our room. We were told to leave them in our car overnight or that the hotel would keep them behind the front desk. I'm sorry, but at $400 per stick, this is a tough ask. I had explained to him that my son just had a stick stolen from the hockey rink this same week and that the stick he was holding was its new replacement. He told me about a group of trouble makers they had on a prior weekend. I also mentioned I thought this was a stupid policy since they had a hold on our credit card for damages already, and there was no need to assume we would be causing troubles just because they had trouble the weekend before we got there. He told me he was going to write down and record my protest to this rule. I told the manager that I didn't want to fight about it since we had just gotten there, and my family was standing there watching all of this in disbelief. We took a chance and left our sticks in the car all weekend to comply with his rules. The room was very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable, and the rest of the staff was quite pleasant. There was no hot water both mornings for us to take a shower, and the space heater provided for the room was a bit small, so we were pretty happy to get home. All in all, for any other pupose, the hotel might be a good stay. I would highly recommend, though, a thorough review of the management practices and hotel policies before continuing to rent to any more hockey teams. Staff here are very welcoming and friendly, hotel provides an amazing pool + hot tub. My mother was the guest a the hotel and enjoyed her stay here, will be a returning guest. Overall experience 10/10 Room 10/10 Staff knowledge 10/10 Customer service 10/10

We travel a lot, tending to stay in hotels 25-30 nights a year. Rarely do I give an excellent rating. This hotel earned it. Clean rooms. Very nice exterior. Well located. Comfortable beds. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was decent and we were able to use plates, glasses and silverware. Good employee interactions. If in the area again would stay again and would recommend.
Stayed for one night - room was good, bed was comfy, and internet worked. Concession was easy to access and had quite a variety. The breakfast was decent, fresh cooked and hot, with some variety as well. One of the issues I had was obtaining a receipt, which I had asked for and was informed would be emailed to me. It wasn't, and I had to navigate the parent company's website to submit a request that took days to process. If anyone military is staying here for HHT or moving, be vigilant about the receipt. Otherwise good experience.
Two of us on a one night getaway. Clean, modern establishment with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good enough to hold you until lunch. We'd gladly pay extra for a more substantiale meal. Not a big fan of powdered hockey puck eggs.|One observation: The 'accessable' room on the third floor is located at the end of the hall, farthest from the elevator. Add to that a carpet that was very 'walking aid' unfriendly. Architect gone haywire !
The staff went out of their way to help us have a great stay. So impressed !

Ive been here a few times and every single time the customer service is 2nd to none. They treat me with the utmost respect and care, every time i had a question the staff was receptive. Just didnt feel out of place

Reception was incredibly warm and welcoming. Rooms were very comfy and clean. Our cat had a great time in the pet friendly suite watching the dog walkers and mini golf across the street. We did laps in the small pool and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a long drive, excellent jets! Breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the fridge and microwave came in handy for our road food.
No wonder this hotel has been nominated and/or won the Canadian Hotel of the Year award several times! I could have spent a week there, everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and even spoke to us in French! There were lots of fun extras, like a vending machine with the areas local coffee, an iced coffee dispenser, a sign indicating gluten-free options at lunch, bathrobes in the room, etc. Bonus point: the doors make almost no noise when they close, a dream! I stay at A LOT of Choice Hotels, and this one is definitely in my top 5! Well done! I will definitely come back!

I stay 1-2 nights every week due to my work. Extremely friendly and understanding staff. They have made many accommodations for me to make it easy to stay here with zero hassle. This is why I keep coming back. I am very pleased on how they have treated me and I really do appreciate it. 5+ stars. Also - rooms are always very clean.
Nicest staff I have ever dealt with! They went above and beyond. I forget the ladys name at the front desk, but she was sooo helpful and kind and weng out of her way The room is so huge, clean, and had an awesome breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay here :)
The front staff was so nice and accommodating ,told us about charging station for our plug in hybrid car. The lady making food in the morning made our day by accommodating our vegan requests. We came back to winnipeg but still talk about our stay.

It s easy to located after arrive the town. The hotel is clean, room is comfortable. You could have coffee and tea 24 hours at the reception area. The breakfast is included.

The staff are exceptional. The rooms are cleaned to perfection. Ive stayed at the Petawawa Quality Inn for the last couple of years. My wife and I have long stays 2 weeks at a time. This is a 5 star inn, without the 5 star prices. Rooms: The rooms are well sorted and cleaned to perfection. Bed is firm and comfortable. Nearby activities: The civic center and playground are across the street.
Just got back from a weekend in Pet for a tournament. Rooms at this hotel are nice, clean and functional. The staff was good with us and treated us well. I liked the fact that it was right next to a restaurant as well.

This was my second time at this Quality Inn and I love it! Every staff member Ive spoken to are super friendly and exceeded my expectations. The hot tub was being serviced, but I asked if it would open up at some point in the day, and they called me in my room to let me know when it opened. They just make your stay really pleasant. And breakfast is included which is always a bonus. Breakfast staff was also super friendly and engaging. I definitely recommend this hotel to whomever needs a place to stay in Petawawa. The room was very clean, one of the cleanest places Ive been to. Youre in a great location in Petawawa, right in the middle of everything, close to all amenities.

Ive been here on three seperate occasions and the quality and service has been consistent. I havent stayed in the Marriott hotel across the street but when I compare this Quality Inn to a Holiday Inn within the GTA, I find this quality Inn cleaner. I stayed with my family including my toddler and dog. They provided an actual crib and not those pack and play, my daughter slept like angel. We stayed at the bottom floor and didnt hear much noise other then some shuffles from the floor above. The location is in the middle of everything that this small town offers. If youre going with young kids, they will love the pool and the park with a splash pad adjacent. Theres also Dairy Queen, Shoppers Drug Mart and Kelseys walking distant. Staff are friendly, enjoy the basic complentary breakfast, access to hot water, coffee and tea. Nearby activities: Theres a pool and a great hot tub. Walkability: Its a small town but theres Kelsey restaurant infront and walkable to Shoppers Drug Mart, Dairy Queen, kids park, library Food and drinks: Theres free breakfast, hot water, coffee and tea which makes it convenient in the morning.
I have stayed at many hotels in the area and this was my first stay at the Quality Inn in Pettawawa. Upon check in the receptionist was welcoming and friendly, she provided us with all of the information we needed (and more) to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and in good condition. Its located right next to Kelseys restaurant which is a huge benefit when youve had a long drive and dont want to find a place to eat dinner. I was disappointed with the bed, the mattress wasnt comfortable, it had a mattress pad that kept bunching up beneath the bottom sheet and the mattress was a bit too firm for me. The bedding was also a suprise, the top layer was a very inexpensive looking synthetic cover. The duvet was really noisy with a thick/stiff cotton cover that kept rustling like paper every time I moved and the sheets also felt synthetic, they didnt have that nice crisp hotel cotton that you find in other hotels. The top sheet and duvet didnt stay together well when turning over, so often woke up with the top sheet crumpled up and just the duvet over me and the duvet was so heavy it kept sliding toward the bottom of the bed, I woke up several times with cold neck/shoulders that had become uncovered each time the duvet slid off the bottom of the bed. Its nice that the hotel provides breakfast, but it is the usual choice hotel budget breakfast which had run out of several items (juice/fruit/muffins/wholewheat bread). The coffee was decent and available 24/7 with real milk/cream instead of the inn-room powdered whitener. I prefer the breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express which is continually replenished, seems to offer better quality products and offered more variety. None of these things are deal breakers, its a reasonable hotel and the receptionist was far more customer service oriented than some of other hotels I have stayed at in this area.
The staff went above and beyond during our stay. We were there for a HS reunion and we were noisy in the lobby, excited to see our buddies. Catherine and the team accommodated us so nicely, always with a smile and utmost patience. The breakfast was quite good and the room clean and comfortable. We ll be back! I made a reservation for my husband and I for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful stay. It was so nice to walk into our room to find a special treat with a sweet note for our anniversary. The front desk staff were amazing from start to finish. Zoe checked us in and was so sweet. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and they even made us towel swans on our bed. Its the little things that make you feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. It has delicious breakfast in the morning (the blueberry muffins are the best)and free coffee 24 hrs. Great location as well. Easy and friendly checkout. Thank you to all who made our stay so wonderful! Rooms: The rooms were spacious and very clean.
Rooms: The room was EXCEPTIONALLY clean and spacious. The breakfast area was clean, organized and had a good selection of breakfast items. There was also a beautiful pool and hot-tub available to enjoy. The lobby was spacious and beautifully designed. The staff were SUPER attentive and friendly. We are Choice Hotel Diamond members and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. We absolutely LOVED this hotel and would stay here again. I wish all hotels kept their rooms and common areas to the standard this one does. It is one of the nicest ones we have stayed at and truly could rival some 5 star posh brand hotels. Kudos to you and your staff for your amazing hospitality and dedication to quality. Walkability: Restaurant right outside the hotel. Drugstore across the street. Very convenient. Food and drinks: Great breakfast in hotel and restaurants are nearby, just steps away.

Ive had friends and family stay here while visiting and weve had a use this hotel for our posting stops and feels like home. Great place, friendly staff and always willing to help you out and knowledgeable of the area if you uave any questions. Highly recommend for business, family visiting, vacation and postings. Its conveniently placed right beside park and splash pad for the kiddies as well near Shopper and Kelseys. 10/10 highly recommended
We stayed here last week. Visiting our daughter. The staff was amazing and always attentive and helpful. Our daughter brought her puppy who was immediately welcomed into the hotel and they even gave us a bag of treats for him. The staff went above and beyond. Breakfast was great each day, hot and plentiful. Many choices. Again the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and fresh, the pool was clean as is the hot tub. We will always stay here from now on. It s not the Ritz Carlton but it s decent enough and the staff there are very friendly and nice. The breakfast, again, is decent enough but won t be winning any Michelin stars. Definitely a great option if you re in the area for CFB Petawawa.
It was an awesome stay here on my cross-country road trip. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were amazing after all day on the road.
Nice staff, but thats about all I would consider to be good. Room didnt get cleaned after the first night of staying there, and the air conditioner didnt work either night. I asked staff how to fix it and they tried to help, but they couldnt get it to work either. Food and drinks: The offered free breakfast was terrible. Ive never seen bacon so thin in my life.

Cute room and spotless. Great location for day trips on a motorcycle tour with friends. So beautiful in that area. Breakfast was awesome. Surprise treat - Madawaska coffee - NOW IM HOOKED!! And, the syrup was Kinrip with whiskey and SOOOO good. Bought a bottle for home! The front desk clerks, cleaning ladies and the breakfast staff were all phenomenal - helpful, courteous, funny and attentive (which is more than I can say about the staff at the nearby parking lot restaurant ...). Thanks for making our stay easy and fun.

Over the past weekend, my hockey team stayed in this hotel for our Silverstick tournament and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The staff was very accommodating, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was fantastic and you cant beat the location. A special shout out to Eryn, who I worked with for months to organize this stay, well done Quality Inn Petawawa!!
Freindly staff, very clean hotel. The Room is very clean and the furniture looks pretty new. It would be greatly appreciated if they have all day long coffee in the lobby like it is the case in Comfort Inn and best Western locations across Ontario even during the pandemic.

The hotel was nice and staff at check in were great. My issue is that the room they gave me was directly above the pool and the ventilation system is clearly attached. Kids screaming and adults talking were the sounds projected into my room all day and got woken up again at 8am with the same noise. Told the front desk and they pretty much did nothing. Wont stay here again.

prepaid for room for 3 days, on arrival they wanted a damage deposit. strange I thought but okay. I come north every 4-6 wks to check up on family member. decided to try here. what really upset me, when checking out, clerk had to check my room and I noticed a log of my comings and goings. This is profiling. I have never had my room checked like an under aged minor/doing unacceptable behaviour . I will not stay here again and would not recommend unless you want to be treated like a possible criminal.

I was recently here for five nights and had an amazing stay. The hotel is in a great location with amenities within walking distance. The hotel itself is updated and very clean. They have a good selection of breakfast items, check in / out process is quick and easy, the pool is great, parking is free, and the staff are all so friendly and helpful if you need anything or have questions about the area. I will definitely be staying here again, and absolutely recommend this hotel.
Spotlessly clean. Stayed in a pet friendly one bedroom suite with our 2 daughters and dog. Very friendly staff showed me where there was a trail for a good walk with the dog. Cute mini putt and a little splash park in behind it. All in an area I didn t appreciate would be so beautiful. Really a lovely little surprise.
The room was clean and staff were so welcomed. The pool was super clean. They provided us anything we requested. The breakfast was good but not the best one although we should consider it is an inn not a hotel.

Such a wonderful front desk staff, from check in to check out. The hotel was extremely accommodating to us and our 16 month old daughter and dog. They had a crib waiting for us in the room. The pool was exceptionally clean, as well as the room. The breakfast that was included was also above expectations.
I came here with my family for a small Birthday celebration getaway. Having never been to Petawawa before we were really surprised at how inviting everywhere was. We made great use of the pool and hot tub. We also found that everything seemed to be in walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone asking!

This is by far the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. The decor was beautiful he rooms in excellent shape even the halls and stairs were clean. The staff was very friendly and the customer service was 10/10. We didnt know the city and the front desk told us a lot of sites, beaches and trails to visit as well as locations. The breakfast was amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back agian when in the area!
We had a great experience staying at the hotel. The staff is SUPER friendly and always available. The facilities are so nice and clean. Everything looks brand new. Our room was so comfortable. There is a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. The tv is large. Theres lots of space. It was nice having a small breakfast table in the room. We had our dog with us so we brought breakfast back to our room and enjoyed it there. They have a hot breakfast with eggs, ham, bagels, muffins and fresh waffles. Would definitely recommend this place.

I cannot even tell you how helpful the staff here was! I was in a real pickle and they worked with me and assisted me with anything I needed. They even found us a rental car when it seems like the entire area had absolutely nothing even as far as Ottawa. When everything was going wrong, they made everything as stress free as possible with a smile on their faces. Rooms are clean with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel. Thank you so much to all the staff!

Great place
I am very pleased with the service we received! We couldnt find a hotel after our first night of traveling so I called a few hours ahead to book on our second day. Reservations were super easy and the lady I spoke to was extremely pleasant to talk to! It was a super quick check in which we, and our dogs, appreciated being exhausted. In the morning, both the receptionist and breakfast lady were super cheerful and friendly too! They had a huge breakfast selection. If we ever visit Petawawa again we will be staying here again.
Staff did NOT inform us when we arrived of the requirements to actually use the amenities and breakfast when we arrived. Couldnt use the pool the first day as we had to book and appointment and second day couldnt get breakfast. Lots and lots of I am sorry...NO. Yes you paid for it but no. Sorry no one told you about that but no. Oh yes thats part of the package you paid for but still no. Clean rooms and nice place but disappointed but the lack of actual communication from the staff and management.

Clean relatively quiet hotel with suites. I have a suite with a kitchenette and living room using the sofa to separate the living room from the bedroom but keeping an open concept with my separation wall. The pool and hot tub are opened and must be reserved for private use. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.

Love this hotel. They have down pillows , the staff is great there pet friendly fora small fee ,breakfast is included , theres a pool in doors and the beaches are all free and there are dog beaches . Beautiful get away. Its not my 1st time coming here and it sure wont bemy last. They have a washer and dryer next to the pool and its $2.00 a peace

Exceptional staff ! Thankyou to Erin, Vanessa, and Justin all of whom I conversed with by phone, and then Justin again when booking in. They were attentive to our needs from the start of our stay to the finish. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet, making for a restful sleep before travelling back home. The lady who assembled our take away breakfast food in the a:m, Petra, was very friendly and cheery. She started my day off on a positive note! The Inn is very modern and inviting overall. I would definitely stay here again.

Great rooms and amenities! Definitely a little more costly than the average Quality Inn, but Id say this is the best Quality Inn Ive ever stayed at. Love the brand new, large, flat screen, smart TVs. Major plus being able to cast my phone to the TV. Highly recommend staying here if youre visiting Petawawa.

Very comfy beds and spacious rooms/bathrooms very cozy place with a hot tub and a pool both very nice and a small little gym to keep fit on the go. All in all I would recommend!
We stayed at the Quality Inn on Family day weekend. The staff was friendly, the decor was clean and fresh, the beds were comfy, and the hotel is close to everything. What more could you ask for in a hotel?

We stayed here for two nights for our wedding and were very pleased. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. All of our out-of-town guests also stayed at the hotel and enjoyed their stay. We would definitely stay here again or recommend this hotel to others when coming in from out of town.
Really the best hotel in the area. Stayed here for 3 nights. Staffs are really smiling and very polite. Unfortunately with Covid you can t have the buffet breakfast version, but still, the breakfast they are offering is real quality and diverse. You get a list of what you want for breakfast and they will make it available at the time you want, never late. Very pleasant stay! Recommend ++++
I have used this hotel numerous times for house hunting, visits to Petawawa, and business events. The rooms are clean, the service is great, and I would recommend in a heart beat to anyone arriving in Petawawa.
We came here as our plan B after our first reservation didnt turn out how wed planned. We were so glad we ended up here!! Front desk receptionist was very friendly and made us feel welcome after a day out on the road. Rooms are extremely clean and modern.

This is a nice, well managed hotel. The staff were helpful and professional. We appreciated the measures being taken to reduce risk during the pandemic, take away breakfast, pool time bookings, and overall cleanliness. Good value for the money.
Very helpful front desk staff. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The pool could be warmer, but I think that was due to the hydro switch over to generators. They have quite the selection for breakfast bags. By far THE NICEST hotel stay Ive had in Ontario. You are definitely taken care of here!

Been here for approximately 6 weeks, the staff are super friendly. The pool great, the grandkids have a blast. The grounds and the Inn is very clean, all in all, very nice.
Great place! All covid-19 measures were met and made you feel comfortable and safe. All the staff (front desk, kitchen and cleaning) were all so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. It was easy to have my dog be there with me. It was so nice.

Clean and new Quality Inn with pool and decent hot tub. Great rooms and Kelseys in the parking lot. Continental breakfast is typical.
Clean hotel and friendly service. The breakfast was great - full and hot. I would not have known that there were hockey teams staying without talking to another person. All guests were respectful and the kids staying there were quiet. A nice change from the chaos of having stayed in other hotels during hockey tournaments. I would recommend this hotel to others.
