The Good Baker YPQ in Peterborough

Excellent food. We both had a toasted Western that you would die for everything was fresh. For dessert which we really need it we had a date Square that we split. Again off the charts. The atmosphere what's casual to the point that one of the questions that was directed to our waiter it wasn't long before the whole restaurant was involved with the answer as if you're sitting in your own living room. Finally I found somewhere I could go and get good food good service and feel at home like it was in my small town Thornhill does north of Toronto. Jack buckler

Fantastic restaurant for Celiac! Staff is well versed, lots of gluten free options, dedicated fryer, even chicken fingers are gf. Great prices, large portions. Bonus view of the runways.

What a great place especially as an aviation enthusiast. Wonderful staff, quick service and attention to patrons.

Try something different with the family and eat here while watching the planes land and take off! Service is excellent and dining area is comfortable. I wish the owners would do more with the aviation theme though. Suggest to have more aviation memorabilia on the walls and even hang it on the ceiling! Look to the London Airport resto for inspiration. A great opportunity is missed here to jazz this place up and showcase the peterborough Airport. The only thing I tasted here was the Club sandwich. While good and flavourful, I'll give it 4 stars and not 5 because its made with sliced Turkey ( seems processed ) and not fresh oven roasted chucks of Turkey breast. Having said that the Club Sandwich with fries is very reasonably priced so great value.

Best Turkey Club I've ever had in my life. Friendly owner. Great service. Fries were great too. Love the location. Love how it's in an airport. Great dining area. Very comfortable. Overall, wonderful experience.

Great place to take the kids for a quick meal while they enjoy the planes taking off and landing. Inexpensive, good selection of baking (including gluten free options).

Great fresh food! Love that almost everything can be made GF and tons of GF options. The prices are really good and the portions are just right. I love the baking too, best GF scones! We love the atmosphere and how you can watch the planes. I am so happy the Good Baker has found a place to have a sit down restaraunt. Good service and friendly staff, too. Well done! We will be back!

Glad to have a nice little breakfast/lunch spot where you can watch the planes from the adjacent flight school and occasionally larger planes like military transports, big helos and private jets. These guys are well established at their base location here in Ptbo so I expect similar quality. They're super new but apparently well supported by the students. The coffee was good as was the blueberry crumble pie. No beer, wine or booze and that's ok.
