Good food, good service. Was with two people who had not visited Cote before and they were impressed. They want to return to try different dishes on the menu. We were short on time today because of going to a show,so need to return to try desserts!

Lovely place, will definitely be coming back.

My wife & I come here once a week for breakfast & it is delicious. Probably the best croissants in the area.

Loverly food, but portions on small side.

I was very disappointed when I went for breakfast with my husband. We have been many times and I was shocked by one particular waiters behaviour. I placed my order and my husband then placed his order and within 20 seconds he said he changed his mind and wanted something else. The waiter tall ponytail waiter who wears glasses and never smiles (definitely needs customer service training) replied he couldn t charge the order. My husband reluctantly said ok it s fine but I said no my husband doesn t want that anymore so he can change his mind if he wants. We are paying for our breakfast so we can change it if we want to. He sighed and made a horrible face and said he couldn t change it. I again urged we can and he then went to the back of the kitchen to talk to someone and then came back and said yes we can. I found him so rude and I m appalled with his awful behaviour. He never smiles and I absolutely hate it when he comes to our table to take our order. I will never be going back to that place again! His whole attitude stank!

Cristian made us feel as though we were the only table in the restaurant, we were looked after from start to finish. Such a warm nature, made conversation without being overbearing. Helped me with recommending a fish dish as I couldn t decide. I just couldn t fault any part of our evening. We will remember our anniversary every single year and I m so pleased that we will look back next year as a positive experience thanks to your team. When there with my mate roughly 2 weeks ago late evening for a catch up. One of the really friendly male serves suggested the beef bourguignon to me while I was sat outside I didnt catch his name. It was a delectable suggestion i recommend that to people going here. Really nice atmosphere accommodating staff. Very pleasant restaurant experience. Didnt stay for dessert but the menu looked lovely.

Very nice first impression, we hadnt booked, but they accommodated my son and me really kindly. I would book next time. They pay attention to detail, give the best advice on food choices and their food and ambience is absolutely amazing

I never thought Id have to give our local branch such a low mark, but our birthday dinner was awful. The minute steaks were tough and grey, the fries excessively salted, my boef bourgignon was served in a horribly gelatinous gravy which had never seen a wine bottle, and a hideous little slither of sloppy mashed potato. I was a regular but I wont be back.

Unfortunately the sauce that had been put all over my food was stone cold and, when we mentioned it to the waitress, she told me thats the way it should be. I dont think so....very disappointing. Not a patch on the Newbury branch!! Food

We always have a superb meal here. The service is very good, the food imaginative and very appetising, and the wine is exceptional. It is very good value for money - by no means cheap but affordable - and the atmosphere is also very good. We eat here regularly, the staff are welcoming, attentive, and efficient but not obtrusive. Didn t have the starter I wanted ( not told by waitress before we sat down) opted for the crab without cucumber but it only comes with cucumber, too much work for chef to change as it s prepared before. So maybe food is not made fresh to order ( can t wait for the comment back on that ) Had a starter of pate. Ok. Main course stew Breton Very tasty, big portion. Wine choice is small but ok. A really lovely restaurant, have been many times, where the service is ALWAYS impeccable, polite, attentive etc. Options avaliable for vegans, table water is always available, and whilst it isnt cheap, I think its great value for money. Quality ingredients... can also buy some of their ingredients online.

Christian was excellent ,as I have many allergies and medical food requirements.He checked everything thoroughly and made me feel nothing was a problem. We felt very welcome and Def recommend to others. Christian is a real asset to the business.

Met my mum-in-law here for lunch. I loved the ambience. It has a ramp for wheelchairs and a front window that opens completely so you feel a bit like you re outside. The staff were very nice. The food came quickly. It was very tasty. I had a two-course fixed plate. I would come here again. Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed a lady was able to wheel herself completely inside the restaurant and out again.

For my 30th Birthday I decided to do a skydive in Peterborough and post-jump my friend and I visited Cote for a little celebratory/ happy I am still standing type meal. Valentin, our server picked up on our elevated mood and was most attentive and kind, pacing our meal just right and helping us decide on the best drinks for the occasion. He definitely added to the experience at Cote and helped a cloudy afternoon feel like a proper birthday experience. Thanks very much!

Just returned from a perfect late lunch. It was my wifes birthday and they kindly presented her with a birthday card and a complementary glass of bubbles. Great start, the food as always was great. We choose the set menu, where the quality was good and tasted excellent. The staff continued to be very attentive throughout the visit. 10 out 10! Well done..!!

Great restaurant for a special occasion.My wife had the duck has her main.The duck skin wasnt Crispy, unfortunately. I had the fish pie [fish parmertier]. A little too much sauce, although the flavour was superb.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and the servers made it very special. They gave us a congratulatory card and glasses of champagne on the house for each of us. I had salmon and scallops and he had calamari and duck. Both were incredible. Coté food and service did not disappoint

What s happened!!! Been here so many times and yet 2 weeks about it wasn t as good as normal, I put it down to a 1 off , but went today, and again the service wasn t as good as previous times , the food was not as good , they seemed to miss the final touches, I wonder if it s because the last 3 times the lady manager with the glasses isn t there and lady for Sicily their where brilliant at making the atmosphere and your visit special.

We went for a family meal in late April. The staff were very pleasant, the location was good and the restaurant was clean. However, the service was extremely slow. It took over an hour from ordering the starters to them arriving. Likewise, the main courses took an hour to arrive after the starters were finished. The restaurant was not very busy so I dont understand why the wait was so long. The food was overpriced for something that was merely OK, but no more than that. It was a very disappointing way to celebrate a family event.

I came into cote on Saturday and it was the best experience I think I ever had. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great too, the entire restaurant has a cozy feel to it and would definitely come again.

I came to Cote on Saturday with my wife for a midday lunch for our anniversary, we were served by a man named Mateusz and he was absolutely wonderful, he went above and beyond with his service making sure we were happy and comfortable, he took care to even wish us happy anniversary, we had a lovely time and will most definitely be come back regularly, he is a gem!

We were lucky enough to discover this very good restaurant. The service is impeccable and the waiters/waitresses are adorable. The meal is excellent. We tasted the orange duck, haddock fish partner, chicken and everything was excellent. Desserts just as much. Very good address to remember and the prices were correct in relation to the quality. First time eating here and I won t come back. The food was nice but the portion sizes and value for money is not there. I found the service slow also. I left the restaurant still hungry and I went to Kaspas dessert lounge afterwards for a decent sized dessert

Really brilliant evening. Good choice of food on the menus, lots we want to try next time... Staff were enthusiastic, bright and fun. The negroni cocktails were perfect! Dropped a couple of points cos the Crab a la Maison starter was nothing special and they confused my mains and served the wrong dish. Confit Duck instead of confit Pork Belly. (I kept the duck as it it looked great, and it was!). Negronis, prosecco with starters, Malbec with mains ...All in all a great evening was had by all...

We have used Cote a number of times, with friends, family and as a couple. We were here for Mothers day, and had booked a table for six people [ 4 adults, 2 children ] at 11.45. We knew it would be busy but we were seated promptly and our orders taken. Starters arrived and were very tasty, children were given and colouring activity sheets given to the kids. Main courses were a slightly different thing though. The food when it arrived was very good but boy did we wait for it. Our main courses arrived 90 minutes after we were seated.Like I said, we knew the place was busy but a bit of communication and honesty from the staff regarding the wait would have been appreciated. We will return, hopefully it wont be so busy.

Been a few times recently and food normally good. Last time the steak was ok but not as good as normal. This time went for the burger but it was over done and hard. Calamari was good though

Had the valentines menu and they was very accommodating with the fact I am a celiac and unable to eat gluten. Food was incredible and service to match. Cocktail was nice and the Cote de Beouf was cooked to perfection. Dietary restrictions: Had the set valentines menu and was able to substitute the dessert at no extra charge and the server even checked if the cider was gluten free for me.

We had a lovely anniversary date at Cote. The food was delicious. Calamari, Pate and CÔTE DE BOEUF all good perfectly. The service was good but not great. All the servers were amazing however it was a little slow and occasionally we had to ask for service. Our table looked lovely and everything was thought through wonderfully.

The restaurant manager waived our entire £200 bill dur to the appalling service on new years eve 2023. We arrived 20 minutes before we were due to find a long QUEUE outside the restaurant.....this was obviously a warning that our visit was not going to be a good one. We had to chase every course. The best was the dessert.....after w0 minutes we asked where it was, to be told theyd run out!!!!!!! We were asked to return and they would make it up to us. We had come from Kent! Furthermore, I told them that after the experience wed had, I would never darken their doorstep again. Id eaten at several Cote Brasserie as well as The Ivy and never had service like it!!! Me and my partner visit at least once a month for date night, the food, staff and atmosphere is always excellent. We had missed seeing each other for our birthdays which are a day after each other, as he works away. I had put birthday on the booking and didnt think to much about it. What a lovely suprise to find a hand written card and birthday confetti on our table. The staff always make you feel so special and when pudding arrived it had happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate, which was a lovely touch. The food and the staff will always keep us coming back.

Food was lukewarm, service acceptable but given they knew it was our wedding anniversary, disappointing. No real atmosphere. Other patrons send food back as it wasn t hot enough. Given all that it was overpriced

Thoroughly enjoyed visit for a family breakfast celebrating a notable breakfast. We had a range of menu choices including veggie and vegan. Service was prompt and friendly.

We was very welcomed when we arrived. It was simple birthday dinner for two, but our table was decorated with small stars and birthday card was on the table with wishes from restaurant staff. Birthday person received glass of champagne. On the dessert they wrote happy birthday. We wasnt expecting anything, we was pleasantly surprised. Food delicious like always and generous portions. Spectacular wine, and the best steak Ive had for months. Lovely service and atmosphere. We will be back again and again. Thank you ! Parking: Local shopping centre (Queensgate) or short term paid parking in local roads only.

Hadnt considered Cote for several years (( cant remember why!) and was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu including, importantly fish and plant based options. Food quality was excellent, the red wine ( bit too expensive!) was warm ( positive) and staff affable (bar a new waiter). knowledgeable Am considering booking the Cambridge Cote for your festive menu.

First time visiting Cote Peterborough, great food and exceptional service.

Had a fabulous time on Saturday. There were 11 of us, so a big party. The staff here are amazing and cant do enough for you. They were busy so we had quite a wait before we got any food, but it didnt matter as we were entertaining ourselves and drinking. We ordered off the 3 course festive set menu which had a good choice. We did warn them in advance that we were going to stay for about 3 hours and would be noisy and that wasnt an issue for them. Had the turkey option, which was pretty good. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and team there. Thanks for a fabulous time.
