My partner and I came in for breakfast the other day and we both walked out knowing we found our new favourite spot! It was so refreshing as a student coming from a small town to have every person coming in for a meal knowing all the staffs names and the staff knew almost everyone who came in by name. It is obvious you have created such great relationships with the community and the people in it. I noticed they they won awards for the past three years for being the best breakfast spot in Peterborough and it is so deserved! And the rye bread I had oh my goshhh! Hats off to you guys!!

Fork It saved the day on Saturday! We had a reservation for my Moms 75th birthday brunch and the restaurant we had booked 2 months in advance and confirmed 2 days before, canceled at 6am on Saturday morning! Fork It was able to accommodate our party of 8 with 2 hours notice. And they were so patient with us all catching up and talking before we ordered. The food was amazing, service was wonderful, and they made a big deal about Moms birthday! So happy with this experience and will definitely go there again.

We are staying in the area at a cottage went for breakfast with husband and parents service, food everything thumbs up it was so good we are going again before we leave area. Would highly recommend this restaurant

Ate here this morning and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are so friendly and the food was SO GOOD! The price is totally reasonable and well worth it. Will be back 1000%!!!! Kid-friendliness: The interactions with my 1 year old daughter and 6 year old nephew were the kindest, sweetest things.

Amazing service and food! Jashan (I hope I spell it right) was amazing and very sweet!! The restaurant had a toy box for little kids to keep which was awesome and sweet! The homemade bread was also delicious !! 10/10

The place we planned on going to was closed, so we came here. Checked reviews quick and they looked good. Unfortunately we waited for food over an hour, had people standing & waiting for tables directly beside our table, and no one checked on us in that hour to refill drinks. Food was quite good. But the wait, lack of attention, and other patrons having their butt near our faces ruined the experience.

Dropped in for a first time visit for late breakfast. I had the toasted western in special with home fries. Sandwich was huge! Easily could have done a half sandwich which they do offer. Fries were good. Hubby had perfectly cooked over medium eggs with bacon and gone fries. He gobbled them up. Staff was super friendly and inviting. So busy chatting forgot to photo the food!

I ordered from door dash- but everything was absolutely amazing. The chicken and waffles and home fries was delicious, their iced coffee is also great, and everything had so much flavour.

Dont even bother going anywhere else for breakfast. Ive already done that for you. This is the only place I will go back to for breakfast. My over easy eggs were perfect. The home fries are amazing.The bread absolutely delicious and the staff so friendly and kind. I one hundred percent recommend for your local breakfast restaurant.

The cleanest diner in the city. The food is made with care and the staff are lovely. Good people here. Portions are large and cost is affordable. Perfectly poached eggs, pancakes were delish. They have special break they order from a bakery. Even the toast is special! We love this place!

Chicken club on marble rye with sweet potato fries! Fresh, tasty and piled high but well constructed! Appreciated the actual chicken as opposed to deli meat. My partner had a Cobb salad, too big to finish!

A warm smile from the hostess and friendly, fast service made me feel like I was at home. A simple breakfast of bacon and eggs was cooked perfectly and accompanied by exceptional rye toast. This will be my go to breakfast spot anytime Im visiting Peterborough.

Its usually quiet, old fashioned service with modern live laugh love aestetic. The breakfast food in my experience has always been exactly what Id desire, at a price I cant remotely complain about. Portions are perfect, they serve beans with breakfast, and the bread is amazing. This is my go to breakfast place, hope its around a long time.

Decent breakfast. Bread was the definate star.. quite excellent. Portions were ok for the price point.. but either smaller plates (so they look less empty) or perhaps more potatoes.. the service was quick and stern.. it was peak, but a little less hurry in each interaction would have been nice. Highly recommended. Top 3 in Peterborough.

This restaurant changed how I feel back to the old ways when you could get a good i ve been losing faith in breakfast restaurants these days. this restaurant renewed my faith and sit down breakfast at a restaurant. The food was cooked to absolute perfection, the coffee was good, and the French toast was amazing the same way I make it at home with cinnamon in it. And alas real butter. The waitress who greeted me was very responsive and taken care of.

The most comfortable restaurant in Peterborough. Fork It has the FRIENDLIEST & WARMEST service in all of their employees out of any restaurant Ive been to in Peterborough. The people are so nice, all the way from the chefs to the servers, to the dishwasher. Everybody is so nice here & the atmosphere is so relaxed & comfortable. Also, the best sandwich Ive bought in Peterborough. Really really delicious with the the waffle & chipotle sauce. Wow! I had to give a tip because the service was tremendously AMAZING. There is also a cute moving reindeer toy here. Love it. Merry Christmas Peterborough!

Some family was in from out of town so we decided to come here for brunch. The place was hopping but even still, the service was excellent, food came quickly and everyone was absolutely lovely. Everyone got a delicious meal, including my husband who is vegetarian. And they do have incredible bread! Highly recommend checking this place out!

We picked up some take-out breakfast from Fork It yesterday morning and it was delicious! The order was ready when they told me it would be, and they provided all cutlery and condiments. We had the breakfast poutine and eggs bennie with pemeal. We also got a waffle on the side, just for fun. I was embarrasingly excited about the whole wheat toast that came with the poutine - best toast Ive ever had! So fresh with lots of grainy texture, toasted perfectly. Its the little things, right? I highly recommend these dishes and look forward to visiting Ptbo again to try something new from the menu!

We walked in to a friendly environment and a calm atmosphere. The table was clean and set with everything needed for a good breakfast, the tea pots are all unique and the tables were decorated for Easter (very cute). The hash-browns were phenomenal; pan fried and seasoned, just want you want for breakfast. The Benedict was so tasty and a big portion. The classic breakfast had really good baked beans and the bread delicious. The cutlery was spotless and the restaurant was clean. Friendly staff, and Hannah was a wonderful server. Service was quick and overall a great experience.

Food was great in taste and quantity. Not realizing they closed at 1:00, we arrived 20 minutes before closing. We were welcomed. Service was excellent, portion was superb and food was tasty. I had breakfast and K ordered more what I would have seen as a lunch dish, a chicken waffle sandwich with fries. He devoured it with great delight. Thanks Fork It. (July 2022) Lunch with J. He had the Cobb Salad which he describes as excellent, I had the Clubhouse with soup ... a great choice and both large portions. I think Fork It has struggled because of Covid, please support this entrepreneur as she could use the boost.

More healthy & allergen friendly options... Seriously healthy. Breakfast shouldnt consist of white potatoes. Allergies need to be taken more seriously & orders paid more attention to. Uncomfortable experience listening to the owner talk extremely poorly of members of the downtown community. She came in the front door yelling to the whole restaurant about a woman walking around outside. It was extremely uncomfortable. The food was cold (despite being slow) and overpriced. Once was enough for me.

Well I honestly dont have a complaint. Great customer service, clean fairly priced and fast and fast. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich, the waffle maker was down, so they did it on a pancake and I was very pleased, the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, reminiscent of a nice Popeyes chicken sandwich, with a bit of spice in the breading. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict bow and she raved about it. Cant believe Ive lived in Peterborough for over a year and just tried it for the first time. Just became the new go-to spot.

Amazing quality meats, smoked meat benny was 10/10! Ham was thick and smokey and the sausages melted in your mouth. Great location and amazing customer service. Quickly made and served with a smile. I will 100% be going back.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and greatly impressed by the quality of my food. The ratio of toppings to eggs in my Veggie Omelet was perfect and the portion was large! As a personal preference I despise homefries so I was VERY surprised when I found I actually really enjoyed theirs!! Slices of toast were very big too and perfectly browned at the edges with softer middles. Will definitely be coming back with the family. Price is right too

What a great spot! My partner and I split the vegetarian breakfast bowl and pancakes. We were delighted when our server brought out the plates, already divided into two portions. How thoughtful. We were impressed with the quality and portion size. We really enjoyed chatting with the server. Her friendliness made us feel welcome. If you are concerned about social distancing, they have it covered. There are large, clear plastic barriers between each table. We felt relaxed and comfortable while dining here.

Really great food and service. When I saw another breakfast place open in town, I was hesitant... until we had their breakfasts. It shows they care about a good experience and a great meal. The wheat bread is fresh and so tasty. Highly recommended. This has become our place for weekend breakfast.
