Decided to go for here for my first time for my Birthday this weekend. After hearing a few bad reviews when they first opended, I decided to give this place a chance what a bad decision that was. First of all, we sat down and no waitress came over to take our order. We had to get up and ask someone to serve us. Finally someone came and we ordered our food and drinks, 20 mins later and no drinks. Food then came out and was given no cutlery. Our drinks came by the time we had finished our food, half an hour later. Also 1 napkin for 4 of us, left our menus on the table and no one asked us how our food was. Once finished we waited again for someone to bring us our bill again no one came and we had to go to the bar and ask if we could pay. Not sure if they are understaffed. Servers were friendly despite this and food 6/10.

She, like Anna and the entire staff team they lead, are all passionate about customer service and going the extra mile for their customers. The food here is great and really nice. Theres a great selection of drinks to accompany your food or after your food. Great selection of cocktails, wine, spirits, and many more. I dont like this place. I love it! Took over an hour for food. Others arrived later and received food. Apologies from the staff. Food was over cooked. Feel bad for the staff that have to face the customers, cool staff needs to revisit their processes.

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would! Steer clear of this place at all costs and find an establishment that values your hard-earned money. When my party of 4 visited this establishment on 10/08/2024, we were met with nothing short of abysmal service. We waited for at least 20 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order. To make matters worse, our starter took an additional 45 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, it was served cold, clearly indicating that it had been left sitting out. Whats more, not a single member of the staff bothered to check on us or ask if we needed anything else once our food was delivered. We had to hunt down a staff member at the end of the night just to ask for the bill, and when we finally got it, we noticed they tried to charge us around £14 for a cocktail that nobody at our table had even ordered. If you do decide to visit, be sure to scrutinize your bill and dont blindly pay, as you could easily fall victim to fraud. The people I was with mentioned that this wasnt an isolated incident and sadly is a recurring problem every time they visit this establishment. Without a doubt, I will boycott this Peterborough branch in the future.

Paulina gave very fast service, the drinks are very nice and with the bottomless brunch were served so that we never had to wait, the food tasted very similar to genuine food from South and central America, the Tacos better than native mexican ones Vegetarian options: Most meal choices have a unique vegetarian option, being a new spin on the dish instead of a removal of meat ingredients

Our 1st visit to Las Iguanas but it will not be the last. We visited between 5pm and 7pm and had cocktails and selection of tapas on our pre concert at the cathedral visit. We enjoyed the the friendliness of the serving staff and the speed that the food arrived in. The food was amazing, full of flavour and spice. The cocktails spot on. Atmosphere very relaxed. We would recommend to anyone that loves Mexican food and tapas.

Came here for my birthday, we had a bottomless brunch. Bailey provided incredible service and made our meal. He was honest, attentive, positive and the perfect server you would want for a meal.

The food was so good! Everyone loved their meals, no complaints. The service was excellent and accommodating. The atmosphere was chilled and quiet, we could hear each other speaking and laughing. Dietary restrictions: The manager was extremely helpful checking some of the food ingredients for us, one of our guests had a serious food intolerance and the manager checked the packs in the kitchen to try and give us information.

If you have any food intolances, go somewhere else. Just because they claim on their menu that an item can be adapted to suit a dietary requirement doesnt mean they will adapt it. We visited on a busy Saturday when most of the other restaurants in Peterborough were full. Not so Los Iguanas and we soon found out why. I am gluten intolerant, so I ordered a burger that their menu said can be adapted for a gluten-free diet. A few minutes later the waiter came back and said that the chef couldnt make a gluten-free burger. All he had to do was leave the bun out, but apparently he was too arrogant/lazy/inept to do that. So we left and went to another restaurant across the square that could leave the bun off. If you have a food sensitivity, then dont bother going to Los Iguanas. Dietary restrictions: Complete rubbish! Their menu says they will, the chef says he wont.

Absolutely delighted with my recent visit to Las Iguanas in Peterborough! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly by the team. Our waiter, Niesha, provided exceptional service throughout our meal, making sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the chicken burger, which turned out to be too spicy for my taste. When I mentioned this, Niesha and the manager on duty acted promptly and professionally. They quickly resolved the issue by preparing a new burger that was just perfect. The entire experience was fantastic, and I left the restaurant feeling very pleased. A big thank you to Niesha and the manager for turning a potential issue into a positive dining experience. Paid a lunchtime visit for the first time earlier this week. Really enjoyed the colourful tasty food.....and the 2 for 1 drinks!!! But best of all was the beautiful intelligent waitress, Ava. She is a credit to the place. Good luck in all that she does in her future with animals

Went here for the first time last night, just for drinks - not much on tap to choose from. It wasnt very busy, one of the staff was quite rude and the others pleasant, but not great at their job. We got given the incorrect bill and had to tell them what wed had. I wont be rushing back.

Most of the food was good. One meal had to be sent back as it was cold, then brought back when most meals were nearly finished. Cocktails were lovely. We had two steak fajita meals and a nachos added to our bill that we didn t order which totalled to over an extra £50 on the bill. We then struggled to get the server to come over so we could dispute this. There was also no reduction for the cold food and no apology either.

The service and overall atmosphere were good. However the food is extremely underwhelming especially considering the price - felt like pre-made microwaved food. Service is terrible, every time I ve gone it gets worse. the wait time for food is insanely long, up to an hour one time and I had to ask them to bring out the food. Last night we finished our meal and drinks and only once did someone ask how things were and we waited 30 minutes until I got up and went to the bar to ask for the check. The service is awful, everyone looks confused and not even busy and doesn t check in on you. I ve been to many locations and this one is by far the worst

As I person who also works in Las Iguanas I was sooooo disappointed in the service here . We came for a some food and drinks,for a friends birthday and if we didn t get food we wouldn t have been even asked how everything is or if we want to order more. We waited so long even when we were there it wasn t even that busy anymore and waiters were just walking around not even looking over the floor to check on tables . Very disappointed with this as I love Iguanas and that s why I brought my friends here . It was our first time coming to this Iguanas but we will not be coming to this site anymore!

Food was overwhelming spiced to the point where it is only just edible. The restaurant was also cold with a constant draft and it didnt feel cosy or comfortable. Vegetarian options: Super spicy Kid-friendliness: Tended to cater well for kids

Cant give more than 3* Positives: The food was pretty good, but expensive for what it is. My friend with a nut allergy was taken care of well. Cocktails were also very good, once they arrived... Negatives: The food mustve taken about an hour to arrive. Two drinks that we ordered took 45 mins to arrive. We were about to give up and leave when the drinks were brought to the table. Getting hold of waiting staff is difficult as no-one comes and asks how the food is. The restaurant cleared out as we were there but nearby tables were left dirty for ages. The staff who werent behind the bar were just milling around at this point. There was also an air conditioning unit blowing in our direction making the place feel a little cold (not ideal on a very cold night). Weve been to the Las Iguanas in Cambridge before and the service is much better. Overall I would avoid going to this one in the future.

Bottomless brunch, a good deal, especially if you are a lover of drinks. However, the cocktails were average, many of them had the same cachaca/rum taste. Food portions are tiny for bottomless brunch, so dont expect a large filling meal. Got charged for someone elses meal. But on the plus side everything was sorted quickly and efficiently by staff and manager. Will be back probably

We have visited that place for the first time and didnt get the service we was expecting, the servant sitted us at the table, said he will bring the food menu over ina minute , 15mins later and still nothing! He was too busy talking to other people, probably his friends on another table. We tried to get his attention but he was too busy looking at his phone. Spent 25mins there sitting for nothing, left without anything and no one even approached us to see if there was any issue that we left withoutordering anything. Poor service, really disappointing experience. Wont recommend!

good tasting food, different countries cuisines like Mexico, Brasil and Argentina. I have dined here more than 5 times and tried different stuff.

The staff were excellent. The restaurant wasnt very busy so there were only two main staff members on the floor but they were attentive. Had overheard me saying it was someone in our parties birthday so comped their pudding and bought it out with a candle in.

The food was OK but expensive for the portion size. Service ok, but not once was we asked if all is good with the food and / or asked if we needed a top-up of drinks. Been Twice now, but I definitely wont bother going to the Peterborough branch again. The Las Iguanas in Birmingham, near the arena ,is bang on perfect, bigger portions served, and great service.

Drinks was amazing plus the lovely lady Ellie that serve me was Greeeeat :)

10/10 place, came here last night for my 18 and the vibes were banging. our servers were all so polite and friendly and met all of our needs.

The cocktails by Lee and Ellie are outstanding! Great value for money and quality edit these cocktails are 2 4 1 all day every day because they are that amazing if u visit Peterborough you must try it!

Disappointed if Im honest. Servers werent attentive. Got the order wrong and once corrected the other people at my table had already finished by the time I got mine. Food was okay, steak overcooked and more peppers with fajitas than anything else. Staff kept disappearing- would have liked another drink but no one came over to ask how everything was or if we would like anything else. Also restaurant was freezing. Had to stand by the door for anyone to recognise we would like the bill to leave. Overall bad experience.

I loved this place, I felt at home like in Brazil, despite not speaking fluent English, the staff were very patient and I was able to communicate, congratulations on the work, I recommend the piña colada drink, delicious...

Had chicken fajitas they were really good ,will definitely be returning

Came here with my friend to have along awaited catch up, from the get go the staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly but still hot and delicious, drinks were presented amazingly and hit the spot :) definitely would recommend and come back! Vegetarian options: There were plenty of dishes to choose from and all sounded amazing.

Drinks prices were very expensive. Service was good tho.

Christmas menu was a bit of a disappointment. There was a premium for the steak strips on a stick, thus was really disappointing as it was tough and bland. Cheesecake was nice, atmosphere was good.

If I could rate this zero, I would. We were a party of 12, so no doubt it s already difficult as is off the mark, but poor, slow and entirely non-existent service, cold food, numerous incorrect orders brought to the table and a disappointing Christmas menu tops this night at a one star at the best of times. Waiters were more content helping other, equally large, groups by taking pictures or wandering around aimlessly. The kitchen does not start prepping food until all plates/the table is done with a course. One waiter took half our table s plates, said they d be back, then didn t return. It took another waiter 20 minutes before they d come to our table, by which point we already waited 30 minutes for dessert (which was yet to start prepping in the kitchen). Then another 15 before we got the desserts. All in all, we ended up in the restaurant for 2.5 hours most of which was spent shouting to hear one another, avoiding large music and just sat watching as staff were ignoring our obviously finished table. Won t be returning here.

Went to Las Iguanas with my work crew for our Christmas do, and gotta say, it was kinda disappointing. We were there for like 3 hours, and it just felt like a bit of a letdown. First off, the wait between courses was crazy about 45 minutes! It really killed the vibe and made the whole dinner drag on. And getting a waiters attention? Forget about it. We practically had to do a song and dance to get noticed. The food was just okay, nothing to write home about. But the real bummer was how often they messed up our orders. Stuff was either forgotten or totally wrong. At one point, they started clearing our plates and then just... vanished. Left us sitting there with half our stuff still on the table. So yeah, not the great night out we were hoping for. It was supposed to be a fun Christmas dinner, but it turned into a bit of a hassle. They really need to step up their game with the service and getting the orders right. Safe to say we probably wont be returning next year

We had a starter, main and desert. For our starter we had the meatballs, each portion was £7. They were tasty. The sauce was fantastic and the cheese complemented the sauce perfectly. I would say however for the price you don t receive your moneys worth. Now onto our mains, He had their signature burger and I had a traditional cheese burger. They were a little burnt but overall had a nice taste, the fries were lovely. Great texture and decent quantity. The burgers were £15 and £17 respectively. This included the chips. We also had desert, we wanted to try their brownie sundae, sadly it was quite disappointing. The brownies were stale and the quantity was tiny. For the price you could get a pretty big desert from kaspas, each sundae was £8 For drinks we both went with Coke Zero, the large drinks were £3.80 each. Decent quantity and tasted pretty good. Overall the experience could be improved but hardly the worst. As for desert I would 100% say there is room for improvement as this was the biggest let down of the evening
