A group of us went for dinner. We had reservations and they seated us right away. Our server, Ashley, was great. She was very attentive and polite. Dinner was quite tasty. Overall a very good experience. Vegetarian options: Vegan menu Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu

Honestly. Hit and miss here. Its been amazing but last night, what a terrible experience. 3 of us eating, none happy with any of the food brought out. Apps: Coconut Shrimp. Was at our table in less than 5 min, black, way over cooked and a few degrees less than warm. Lobster Crab dip. Also out quick. Sides of the dish were on fire, middle however was also less than warm. A huge pile of flavorless goo. Stuffed Potato skins. Flavorless and actually cold. 2 mains of the halibut. Both dishes soaked in grease and 1 was sent back as it was cold and visibly raw. Also, both came with onion rings as requested however, soaked in grease as well and barely warm. 3rd main was Rockefeller Chicken Fettuccine. Flavorless, warmish and had a bad smell to it. Yes we talked to the staff, yes a discount was given but the 45min of my time traveling to and from on top of the disappointing food = dont know if Im going back....

We tried to get a reservation 2 weeks in advance, manager said that was fine and the reservation booked, no it wasn t, nobody mentioned a 200$ deposit to actually book the reservation, we called 2 days ago to confirm, but was told that the room was actually booked up. But then they said we could have a side room to have the party, we still didn t get the side room, we got sat at tables in the middle of the restaurant and not being able to move and mingle, and just overall crowded. Not good organization and reservations

Stopped in with friends for lunch. Amazing menu. Almost overwhelming. Food was fantastic. Our server was great but we were here for lunch and they almost seemed understaffed. A common problem at most places anymore. Left full and happy. Will def be back.

Second time Ive ordered here for delivery. First time was great this time they could have done better. Im super impressed by the care put into packaging things up for delivery. I got the deep fried platter and most of it was great! But my mozellera sticks were over cooked hollow tubes of batter and spicy for no reason whatsoever (pass on these) and both my potato skins and garlic bread tasted like someone accidentally dumped sugar on them (otherwise would have been excellent) Was also surprised when I ended up with beef triangles (tasty) instead of the eggs I was expecting but I guess the menu hadnt been updated with whom I used to order. Over all happy and will order from them again just a bit disappointed in the things mentioned. Value is definitely there

Had a party of 7 out for a birthday dinner. Everything was Fabulous from the apps. to the main course to complimentary birthday dessert. Food and service was excellent with no complaints. I would highly recommend this location. Garlic jalapeno chicken entre is to die for if you like some heat. There was also a salmon entre, 2 whiskey chicken entres, chicken fettuccine entre, chicken gumbo soup, and a Seafood Deluxe ordered. Everyone said theyd order the same thing again. A great evening had by all!!!

We shared 4 different appetizers. All wee delicious! I would highly recommend the wings, lobster/crab dip and the nachos!

I have eaten here quite a few times, the atmosphere is good, with a sports bar vibe, lots of seating and able to handle large groups quite easily, the waitresses are very friendly and attentive, food is usually good, but there have been a few occasions that we have had to send food back, Mac and cheese, very light on cheese, and ribs with meat so dry that even AuJous couldnt save them, any issues were replaced or rectified promptly, and overall the food was decent, but maybe a little more training, from kitchen staff would be beneficial.

We had a big group reservation for 22, when we got there they were all organized and ready for us. The food was amazing! So much food and the prices were great. Would definitely go back again when back in town

Amazing food and service. We were a group of 25 (Midland Suns volleyball team). We had made reservations for the wrong date so when we showed up they gladly made room for us and accomodated our whole group within minutes of our arrival. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Food was amazing however during our time we had stepped out briefly for a cigarette let the waitress know ( after our appetizer before receiving our main) Upon walking back into the restaurant it seemed as if the manager was searching the parking lot looking directly at me, he said nothing. Another diner let us know they had tried to bring our meal and instead took it back. All our belongings were still on the table with every intention to return. Once we returned I had to approach the manager for my food, he was kind enough to offer me hot gravy for my food and act as if I had been gone for 35 minutes. Pretty discouraging, I don t know what about myself if my partner would give the impression of not paying for our meal let alone leaving our belongings too. Don t judge a book by its cover.

With such a large menu I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality as I was expecting your typical pub food quality thats expected from the other chain establishments. Portions could be a little bigger but I was happy. Service was friendly but I found myself looking for our server on more than one occasion however it was busy but even when requesting more salad dressing or drink refills we were forgotten about. Prices were fair but again just wish portion sizes were a little bigger. I will definitely go back though as the food was good and service was friendly.

Was staying at the Best Western in Peterborough and one eyed Jacks is next door. They have take out or skip the dishes, we ordered by phone and picked it up being so close. The food was absolutely delicious. The French onion soup was the best lve ever had, be close to a seat because your knees will buckle and the wings were amazing. Ribs, fantastic, It has a sports bar theme and very well appointed. Really would have been great to eat in. But soon! I highly recommend this restaurant you wont be disappointed! NOW FULLY OPEN!!! Ill be going to sit in soon! If you can get your flu shot or Booster and lets protect each other!

Excellent food and service...as always. We had the Thanksgiving Dinner special. It was DELICIOUS! From the veggies to the stuffing, and the mashed potatoes - EXCELLENT! That is some of the most overcooked chicken I have ever had in my life, and the food itself was subpar at best. Every single one of the waitress seem like their gonna go blow their brains out.

Visiting Peterborough and went here for dinner tonight based on good reviews. Firstly service and staff were good. Food was nothing to write home about but main issue was while we were having drinks and waiting for our order noticed a cockroach on the table. Waitress got us moved right away but no visit by the manager or owner and no compensation for being unable to eat most of my meal.

This place is always super busy, and for good reason! The food is delicious, and well priced and the service is great! When we arrived with no reservation we joined the waitlist in the 10th spot and it still only took 20 minutes. We very promptly got our drinks and food! Always a great choice to come here! He was on the ball, served the food hot, didnt mess up an order and quite simply was the best server for a group I have ever experienced. Would gladly return. George deserves a raise or an award.

We reserved a table ahead of time because Fridays are busy. However seated us in the back area with what seemed like a bunch of young adults partying as if they were at an after hours bar. My ears are still hurting and the headache has not gone away. Most unrelaxing family dinner I have ever had. Food was okay. Service was mediocre. Chefs special was meh and not worth the price. Friends meal however was great however very simple.

This was my first time here as moved to Peterborough a year and a half ago. Kaylea our server was excellent. She is very friendly and personable. Food was fabulous and the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. AAA RATING from my niece and myself! Not on item list below. We had the halibut/fries with Caesar Salad and the liver and onions. Both were awesome and delicious! Parking: Huge parking lot.

Thank goodness for Tamara ( server for our table) it took two separate waiters to get us our drink menu 30min, yes I timed it . , then we got Tamara, we know it wasn t her fault but another 15 min for appetizers we came in and the place wasn t that packed , so what was holding everything back ? 45-50 min we got all that we needed. I don t know but this could be better , it was not a busy time of the day when we came. Food was great , atmosphere was great .. but the timing on drinks and food is iffy ( so maybe eat something small before going , just so you don t get upset for the long wait ). Take care

My husband and I visited this restaurant because we received coupons in the mail. Although the service and atmosphere are both great, I cannot say much about the food. We were disappointed with the taste of our meals; therefore will never visit again. It just takes that one time, right?

Outstanding again! Popped in for a lundin and sat outside to enjoy the end of summer. Nice relatively fresh air. Parking: Plenty of room for passenger vehicles including motorcycles.

My husband and I frequent this location and we love it every time. The prices are incredible and the serving sizes are great. Every restaurant in the world is ridiculously expensive right now, but One Eyed Jack is very consistent. We always come back!

The delivery is not the best. Tonights delivery was hung on my fence. As expected all my food had slid to one side or at least as most would expect. Why ask for delivery instructions if they are not going to be followed

This was our first time visiting and we loved it. Showed up at opening with our 2 kids and our server was great with them. I loved that they served the kids food first and it wasn t steaming hot so they could dig right in. Ours was served minutes after and was delicious. $65 for the four of us. We were impressed and will definitely go back!

Always busy here but well worth the wait. This time I tried something on their specials list, it was a Chicken and Shrimp Penne Curry pasta. It was delicious. Always generous portions. The service has always been outstanding.

Not the experience I was looking forward to. Entire restaurant smelt rancid yesterday 29 July. More of fish or rotting meat. And surely we ordered the battered chicken sandwich,which had a nasty smell to it, slimy and greasy. Taste wise it was ok, but the combination of the substandard cheese and the meat itself made us sick. Other dish ordered was chicken chili ramen. Again, watered down soup, no punch, flavour, noodles were clumped together. Menu is great and variety is plenty, but it is no use if the quality of food is bad. Sure their running menu items would be top quality, but dont neglect the specialities or other cuisine.

Amazing! We eat out a lot and I have never seen a more diverse menu at unbelievable prices! Add to that, the place was busy and we got served our food as quick as a fast food place. Definitely a must try at one of their locations.

The patio was beautiful and it was a warm day. However the inside looked a little grungy and was very stuffy. My food was great and the sangria I had was okay, very sweet. Overall a good place to go.

We were there Aug 3. It was our first visit. The experience was fantastic. We were seated quickly, ( mid afternoon). The food and the service was great. Our server Caitlin was very friendly and attentive. It took a bit to decide what to order. Their menu is a few pages long. But the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Stopped here on the drive to Ottawa. The service was great. The food was better than expected.

Had good expectations for this restaurant. Unfortunately those expectations werent even closed to being met. Went at 3:30 on a Monday and they were busier than expected. Got seated quickly but it took over 10 mins for a waitress to appear. She never introduced herself just took our drink orders. Brought our drinks and took our orders then we never saw her again until she showed up to remove plates. Never was offered refills for our fountain drinks. Two other guys delivered our food. There was no follow-up to see if our food was prepared accurately or of we needed anything else. Spent $94 for 3 meals and 2 fountain drinks...of which was mediocre food. This food could have been ordered in any cheaper location. Portion sizes were smaller. I can say I tried it but I will never return...can get way better food and service for a lot cheaper elsewhere.

She was methodical in taking the orders, and our drinks and meals came out without any mistakes. The food was hot and delicious. Big servings, almost too much. Went there today after a roller derby game. We had a group of over 40. Orders were out really fast and all together. I was so impressed. Also the food was really good. The kitchen must have hustled to stay on top of all our orders, and somehow serve them all within 5 min. Really great job guys!!!

One Eyed Jacks was a lively experience with a bit of a busy atmosphere. The food was good. We experienced an amazing Bison burger which was served very impressively. The wait staff was friendly and eager to please their hungry customers. Background noise and tv action would not make this a place for a romantic first date, however if you want to feel alive and be in the action this is the place to dine out.

The atmosphere was loud I donot think there fries were cut as the needed they tasted like bag fries far more gravy than needed 2 dollars a bowl for gravy hubby had bison burger he said it was ok for me I wouldnt go back

I eat here every time I work in town. Service has always been 100% only reason it is 4 instead of 5 is loud (much like every pub) and Asian food might be a bit too much in a pub. TRY THE PEROGIES!

I often dine at One Eyed Jacks. You need about 15 minutes to read their many menu choices. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten there. My favorite is the meat loaf and the grilled cheese. Vegetarian options: Veggie rice dishes, pasta and veggies, delicious salads. Kid-friendliness: I have seen many families with children there.

So we went there today for lunch they had no staff and it s Canada Day the people behind us were complaining how long it was to get seated yet they got served before us we frequent the place often we are from Peterborough after that we went to Montanas on the patio excellent service and food didn t wait half an hour to get even a drink never going back

First time came here for lunch. We had a big group of 10-11 ppl and they gave us three four-seated tables in a row. Somehow, they still separated the tables instead of join them together. As far as food, it is surprisingly good. On the menu, they packed various international cuisines together. You should be able to pick a thing that suits you. Although they have ramen, but ppl in my party who ordered it said it was very salty. Anyway, overall, this restaurant is worth a try. Lot of parking on site too.

We had a reservation, good thing as the place was busy. It was a Friday night, so that was to be expected. The parking lot is super tight. Be careful. The food was ok. My wife enjoyed her dinner, short ribs. My burger was not good. Extremely greasy, the bun was saturated with grease. I had to send it back. The server was very good (Candace) she was pleasant and very capable. Would I go back again? Maybe. But I wont be ordering the burger.

First time at a one eye jacks! My friend and I came on a Thursday night around 8pm to get drinks and apps! We had the pleasure of having Shawney as our server! She s so sweet and made our experience 10/10! Would definitely come back. Especially for the vegan options :)

We has reservations for after my sons convocation. The ceremony ended earlier than expected so we asked if we could move the reservation up an hour. No problem. We then met other friends and parents and the numbers kept expanding 7,9,11,14! Each time I called back they accommodated us. When we arrived the service was quick and efficient. The food was excellent and all within a reasonable time. Service continued to be excellent throughout our visit! Wonderful experience!! Vegetarian options: Several options.

My first time at One Eyed Jack and it was great. Went there for an early lunch and had the ultimate Omlette and it was delicious. Will be heading back to try their dinner selections in the next few days.

I gave 3 stars for the service only because they were under staffed for fathers day lunch. The wait staff that was there did do there best to tend to everyone that was there.

Lindsey has been our server for most of our visits at One Eye Jack and we love her. She makes every single visit amazing and we always ask to sit in her section when possible. Her great smile and fantastic memory always makes us laugh. If you go to One Eye Jacks ask for Lindsey you won t be disappointed Oh the food and drink is great as well.
