37-39 Long Causeway, Peterborough PE1 1YJ, United Kingdom
Casual restaurant serving Asian dishes in a Japanese-inspired setting with long communal benches.
Regularly go there to have fish, cause the veg and sauces are something 😍 explosion of taste in your mouth. The healthy juices! Love the beetroot one, highly recommend.
UPDATE: I have now visited 3 times, the first time was clearly a fluke - the second time was really poor, despite not being busy plenty of staff were floating around they avoided my attempts to get there attention, I was waiting ten minutes between courses. The third time was even worse, 20 minutes after finishing my main and taking my plate the staff purposely avoided me, even laughing and playing on phones. AVOID Just had a meal here, I rarely say this but everything was perfect. The service was exceptional: attentive, fast (but not in a way that makes you feel rushed). The food was delicious, I usually have the same dish each time (katsu curry and a cheesecake for dessert) and this was spot on in every way. I am just visiting Peterborough, I live near London and have visited many of the branches there, this was actually better - a genuinely top notch experience. I will be back in Peterborough soon, I WILL be returning to this restaurant.
Service was quick, as soon as we said we had an allergy we were immediately accommodated. Out server was Ala and they were polite, informative and allergen aware. The food was to die for would definitely recommend the bao buns, mains were colourful, fresh and crunchy and very aesthetic. Please see below for the adhd drinks. 10/10 would recommend.
👍✅ Exceptional Pan-Asian Dining: Wagamama Peterborough Dining at Wagamama in Peterborough was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and friendly smiles. 🌟😊 The Pan-Asian cuisine here is nothing short of spectacular. The menu offers a diverse range of dishes, each crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend the bao —they were bursting with flavor! 🍛🍜 The freshly made juices were a refreshing complement to our meal. 🥤🍹 The ambiance is modern and inviting, with an open-kitchen concept that adds to the dining experience. The sleek design and comfortable seating make it a perfect spot for both casual lunches and dinner dates. 🍴✨ Service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made excellent recommendations and ensured our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. 👏👌 Whether you're a fan of Japanese cuisine or exploring it for the first time, Wagamama Peterborough is a must-visit. The combination of delectable food, stellar service, and a chic environment make it stand out. Can’t wait to come back! 🌟👍 For anyone looking to enjoy an unforgettable Pan-Asian dining experience in Peterborough, Wagamama is the place to be. You’ll leave with your taste buds delighted and a smile on your face. 😊🍜
Bit of a miss this visit. Seated quickly, we had come as part of a celebration. The staff were abrupt, distant and rude. I had the vegan Katsu due to the chicken version is fried with the seafood, so be aware if you have allergies. I was disappointed as it tasted bland. We sat for ages for someone to clear and ask if we wanted dessert. I ordered the new cheesecake which was awful, burnt and gritty, I absolutely do not recommend. We had the new sparkly app to collect stamps and low and behold it did not work. Now I have to contact another team to hopefully add the stamps back! Not a great experience.
Mine and my partners favourite place!! Such amazing food and staff are incredible and so polite! Definitely recommend, it’s our go to all the time and never ever fails. They also have the option for you to pay for your meal via a QR code on the table and if not can still ask for the bill.
Served straight away, food arrived quickly too. We liked it except for the chicken... It was the thigh meat and not breast. For a nice meal the breast should of been used... I wouldn't of ordered it if I knew. But other than that it was all ok
Love the food Service hmm, cleared plates while some of us were still eating, not offered more drinks or dessert, just paid on qr code & left
Love the vegetarian option. As I only eat halal food. Never been there to eat only ordered online. I feel its a bit overpriced.
Always an amazing place to eat
Staff seem to resent anyone causing them to be even slightly inconvenienced, it spoiled the visit Kid-friendliness: Not very, tho colouring in page and crayons were provided Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessable, but didnt please the staff to make room for it
From having staff leaning over me to clear little plates whilest I am still eating and the place half full, to not getting my food for 15mins after everyone else I am with, the staff where running around, high fiving eachother and joking around whilest food waited to be taken out. The food was ok yet the pad tai was bland and we felt rushed out as soon as we got there.
Overpriced and overrated
Food is beautiful and the cherry bollsom lemonnade is to die for! staff are always so friendly and polite
Our waiter today was very understanding and accommodating of allergies for my young son. Very impressed with the food and service
Good food, okay service, they do their job. No matter how busy it is , you always fina a place to sit. Enough veg options. Nearest paid parking is britannia parking Food
This was our first visit to any Wagamama. Very fast service and first meal arrived at table within 10 mins of order. Kids meals were excellent. Thats where the positives end. The meats on all meals were ridiculously overcooked and like leather to the point I couldnt eat the chicken. The raven bowl was ridiculously overpriced for what looked like half a chicken breast, a bowl of noodles which again were overcooked and a bowl full of bland, tasteless stock. My wife had the tepanyaki noodles which were better but the duck was again overcooked and very chewy. Overall 63 quid for 2 adult and 2 kids meals and a round of drinks. Overpriced and under delivered on quality of food. Honestly would have been better spending half what we did at a local chineese takeaway. We wont be returning.
Second time going to Wagamamas, first time was better than this time. Was seated fast and everything was explained to us we ordered drinks, starters and mains however drinks came after mains which was weird bit not really a problem. Servers were friendly, food was appetising but did not taste as good as the first time however the chicken gyoza starter was quite scrumptious. Was seated in a good place not too close too anyone and the lights improved the atmosphere dramatically and made the setting calmer. Overall not too bad but was not up to standard and may not return due to the poor food standard.
Great food
Overpriced fast food in my opinion. Rather spend same money at authentic local Chinese or Thai to support independents. Not for me, but my kids love it. Food
Tasty refreshing meal great ambience and attentive staff
Oli and Ala were amazing, creating a lovely time for my table, was full of laughs and outstanding customer service. Felt welcomed and absolutely delightful with kind people during dinner
Oli and Ala were amazing and gave the best service I ve ever received at a Wagamama s. They made the whole experience amazing with a genuinely lovely welcome and constantly checking in on us. They are both amazing
Always good food, service friendly and helpful. Good layout. Ate here 16/9. Terrible fried noodles, the chef had no idea how to cook noodles. They burnt them, and then they served the dish.
Food was different and wonderful. Service attentive but discrete, value fantastic, tastes zingy. Great evening. Vegetarian options: Went for mushroom based meal really great texture and flavours loved it.
Great food. Always taste the same. Katsu Curry is a must.
Lovely welcoming staff, spotlessly clean restaurant and the best tasting salad ever. Its a pity the dressing isnt available to purchase by the bottle as I would eat salad every day!
It was very tasty) and service was quick and pleasant! Thanks, guys)
Any Wagamamas are excellent. This one s no different! Great Asian cuisine with an ever evolving menu. Rustic industrial feeling interior. Minimal outdoor seating but in the middle of Peterborough you probably wouldn t sit there. Right in Peterborough centre and really close to queensgate. closest parking charges you but wasn t too expensive last time I went. 5 stars from me. Love to come here. Vegetarian options: Loads of options for veggies. Dietary restrictions: Good with allergies. Got a large list of the ingredients of everything they serve. Parking: Not connected to the restaurant. About a 5 minute walk.
Great food and excellent service from Oli
I really like this place lots of very tasty food and portions just the right size (if you have the small dishes)
Celebrating our 12th year anniversary, the service was great & food was delicious
Me, my sisters and my mum went for a meal here last night and we had a blast! Although the wait was a little longer than expected the food and service made up for it! We were served by Mitch and he was an absolute delight! Made us all smile and laugh absolutely brilliant customer service, super helpful and checked in on us a couple of times which was appreciated! Thank you Mitch definitely recommend this Wagamama s because of that service! +++
Just delicious
Oli was amazing!!!
Oli was amazing! Food was amazing really good!!
Really nice food. Staff was a bit slow comparing how many people was there. Menu was renewed, I have taken thai beef salad. It was nicely preserved steak was cooked medium rare as i like, they didnt asked how i want it to be cooked but got it just right salads and sauce was really good. Also ive tryed this new asahi beer with lime and syrup taste good but i dont think its worth the price. All in all happy with it
Food was amazing, service fast and friendly. It was too loud for me but overall was super.
Located ideally in the heart of Peterborough, very easy to access. The calm and serene atmosphere. Very professional staff that offer excellent service. Delicious food - and the order is delivered promptly too. I highly recommend you check them out when next you are in Peterborough.
Excellent experience lovely staff very clean & super service - thank you
A truly excellent dining experience. Ive eaten in other Wagamama restaurants before but this one seems better than others. Perhaps its due to the warm weather lol. Excellent all round.
This has to be our favourite restaurant chain and were so glad theres one in Peterborough! The food is consistently high quality and as a customer with disabilities, my needs were met. If you love Japanese food, like me, their asian inspired cuisine is a delight! Vegetarian options: Im pescatarian and there is a good range to choose from. Vegetarian options are clearly marked. Dietary restrictions: We are always asked if any members of our group have allergies.
Went to the Cathedral coffee shop not Wagamama
Staff a little bit disinterested, but food was great and they have a great range of options.
Excellent service, delicious food
Would highly recommend ,all staff was very friendly and welcoming , didnt get to know all their names however one of the waitresss Vanessa did an exceeding job . Food was also delicious. The whole family loved the food and service .
Quick service, friendly staff and great food! Drinks take longer than the food for some reason, but still come pretty quick. Can be quite chilly by the door if its busy and lots of people are in and out, so if you re the kind of person that this would bother then ask for a seat further in on a busy evening.
Not been for years. Was pretty decent all round. Good Pescatarian options.
One of my top 10! I live wagamama. The food is excellent, the staff are great and I love the atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting if you havent already.
Excellent meal, very quick service.
My first visit in Peterborough had lunch here at Wagamama and my experience shows in my star review. The ramen was good I d recommend the pork belly one but the service was even better. Shout out to Victor, one of the staff for looking after us from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant.
Dont get the chicken soup, noodles taste like £1 noodles from Europol, the chicken was dry and the soup in general had no flavour, wouldnt recommend.
Delicious food
Love it..my daughters favourite place. Nice clean and healthy food. Must try it
Always love coming to Wagamama, great food, friendly staff
My second visit was I really was not impressed. The food was greasy, the service mediocre and the atmosphere was dire. Couldnt wait to leave
Firecracker
I highly recommend the Wagamama restaurant. Today I celebrated a family celebration at Wagamama and we are very pleased. Very good food, varied menu, professional service, especially Ms Alicja. I highly recommend Wagamama to everyone!!!!
Over all love wagamamas but last time I went I was very disappointed in the chili squid. As it s my favourite and always get it when I go, I know what they re meant to be like. When I went on 29.12.23 they were very over cooked. Too crunchy and too chewy. It was like eating rubber with a crispy coating on it. It made me want to ask if the chef was okay over cooking it so much.
Wagamama Restaurant offers an exceptional food and service experience. Their delicious, varied menu, well supported by a great service team, makes this restaurant special. The attractive atmosphere and modern design create a pleasant environment. Thank you Wagamama for offering such delicious and quality food and service.
Tonight I was served by Oliwia and Clayton and were really pleased. The service was really friendly, alongside helpful advice on the vegan menu. They made the experience a delight :-) Also a shout out to Ala who was in the kitchen and was awesome at ensuring no spice in my dish thank you!
Awesome date night at the Peterborough branch, we were politely welcomed and swiftly seated by Clayton (nice hair) had our orders and requests taken by Oliwia (nice to see you back) and had our food cooked to perfection by Ala. (Compliments to the chef)
Love Wagammas, always great food and good value.
Lovely restaurant, vegan ribs are really delicious (I am not a vegan), as was the vegan lomen I had. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Love it here and so does my 6 year old! Good food and reasonably priced. Perfect for a girly lunch date, dinner with kids or any dinner really! Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu, drawing to keep them entertained.
Food Amazing Services Brilliant Atmosphere hmmm Dunno something bit missing, but its still okish... Food : 5/5
Sent to the very back of the place during a very quiet evening, not a good start, spent 33mins waiting for orders to be taken. I was 2 mins away from walking out. Finally got served by someone from the bar. Defo not feeling like they want me there and food is not up to the usual standard.
The service was appalling, I have eaten at different Wagamamas all around the UK and never experienced poor service like this before. On new years eve we called to check if they were open, we were pleased to hear that the restaurant was open but they will be closing at 9 pm. We ordered food via the app and got to collect and one of the waitresses asked very abruptly can you order food now as we are closing in 5 minutes no welcome nothing. We politely said that we have already ordered and as we saw other people eating in we asked if we could eat in the restaurant we were told categorically NO, while we were waiting for our food another waitress (manager) came to ask if we wanted to have a sit or take away, to our surprise we said we would prefer to eat in. She kindly set the table for us and left the other staff member to attend us. As we were eating in we asked for a drinks menu and were told that the restaurant is closed so we cant order drinks, at NO point we were told to order drinks before the restaurant closes we assumed as we were allowed to eat in we are ok to order drinks. Our food finally started to arrive, but the waitress was not attentive at all no cutlery was laid out, at this point, we felt like we were not welcome and felt there was an atmosphere which was very upsetting as we had young kids with us so we decided to leave and take the food away with us. All in all, I would not be hesitant to visit any of your branches as this has been a very unpleasant experience for all of us.
Order the Teriyaki Chicken today and it tasty.
Was very nice. Food as always very good
Warm and friendly staff. Glad to see the Chicken & Prawn Chahan back on the main menu. Introduced pay at table which is great on a busy Saturday. Recommended dishes Gyoza Steamed Chicken Dumplings, Chilli Squid
Love wagamama the food is allways brillant however last time me and my partner ate there we had an extra special experience due to ala being our waitress she was very friendly and chatty also recomened us to try some new brinks that where also amazing
Great place to eat out with friends or family.
Got a takeaway and it was just awful. Gyoza was just burnt, ramen noodles were just a mush and no flavour in the soup stock. The only nice thing was grilled chicken.
Went today with my 92 year old mother in a wheelchair. The two girls who served us were so friendly and kind and even the manager came over to have a chat. Food was top quality as always. Highly recommend a visit. We love going here. Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent facilities
The noodles I ordered was overcooked. Not authentic Asian food.
Always go to waggas after work the girls FOH are exceptional! Nothing is never too much to ask even when I sneak in just before close there always so accommodating and welcoming ! Never rush me to leave and food is always Delivered tasty as if I were to come earlier ! 10/10 waga Peterborough !
Food very good. Service very quick and very friendly.
One of our favourite places to eat, always a good experience and plenty of vegan options. Would definitely recommend.
Nice food good staff very busy place only reason service get a 3 is we got 3 main and 1 starter and had to wait a 5 mins for the 4 main and other 3 starters to come
fantastic service, food arrives as and when ready, it s fresh and hot and really tasty, staff are warm and welcoming! would highly recommend :)
Delicious food. good atmosphere
Outstanding customer service. Bia was our waitress today and her attention to detail was on point. Food was also as expected and other members of staff was also super friendly. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu
Great service, amazing food. Staff were amazing . Well done
We did try getting in here last Saturday, but the queue was out on the pavement and after waiting a few minutes a very apologetic member of staff came out and said it was likely to be 35 to 40 minutes, so we ending up at Five Guys Peterborough instead. Although it was disappointing we didnt get in, the queue speaks for itself, the food is superb! We visited this Saturday a bit later (18:45) and we were greeted immediately and shown to a table. We were primarily looked after by Nathan and he is a credit to the Company, he couldnt have been any more helpful and friendly. He spent the better part of five minutes taking us through the menu and making recommendations, based on what our preferences were. His advice was absolutely perfect. We shared a chilli squid and vegan short rib, then had firecracker chicken and beef donburt. We dont normally do dessert, but upon Nathans recommendation we had chocolate and ginger cheesecake and banana katsu. Drinks were ginger no-jito and blueberry spice. I had previously been to the Wagamama in Lincoln, where Id been equally impressed with the food, hence wanting to go as a couple and enjoy the experience. As mentioned the food is outstanding, the fire cracker chicken is already sat right at the very top of my goto dishes, Id recommend this to anyone who enjoys hot spicy food, you will not be disappointed! I was also offered an off the menu version of the katsu chicken, more chilli, which be on our next visit. Other than the food, what made.this such an enjoyable experience was the attention we were given by Nathan, he was patient, engaging and attentive. When all is said and done, you can go somewhere and eat the most amazing food, but if the service is lousy you dont go back. To go somewhere and get first class service and amazing food is getting rare. Speed of food to the table was also perfect with the squid arriving within five minutes. Wagamama Peterborough - Youve nailed it 100% Update 03/12/22: Visited Peterborough restaurant again 19:00 on a Saturday, once again a warm welcome upon entering and immediately given choices of tables to sit at. Menus and drinks arrived very quickly. Our food order was taken within five minutes of arriving and was on the table within 10/15 minutes. One of the starters we ordered was prawn lollipops, two of these had fused together when cooking in the pan/on griddle and when my wife pulled them apart the sections of prawn that had been overlapping were grey and uncooked. We wanted another drink, so when one of the staff were passing we ordered another drink each and my wife asked if the prawns could be put back in the pan for a minute. We were told they couldnt be undercooked as they are precooked before being seared, nevertheless the prawns we had were grey in a strip were the two had been touching. They did however take them away and replace them within 10 minutes, no drinks arrived though, so when the prawns were returned we re ordered drinks and asked for the desert menu. Another 10 minutes and still no drinks or menu, so had to ask again. After this everything ran smoothly again. They have now introduced pay at table using a QR code in the too righthand corner of the paper placemats on the table. This takes you to a secure Web page were you manually enter your card number, expiry date and security code, along with your table number and email address. It works okay, but would be far better executed if it facilitated google pay, PayPal etc. Once again the food was superb, other than prawngate, we felt rather disappointed with the service this time, especially as it was not particularly, or overly busy. Obviously this was probably a one off and certainly will not stop us from returning. 25/02/23 Service VERY poor! Vegetarian options: Excellent choices for vegetarian and vegan, you will not leave disappointed.
One of my favourite places to eat! My son loves the food as much as I do which massively helps! Im disappointed that the prices have gone up again and some of our favourites seem to have dropped off the menu. I really hope they bring back tori kara age, and the teriyaki chicken hyashi bowl (pictured). The service is always friendly and quick, the atmosphere is feel good, and the food puts a smile on my face.
Always a good atmosphere, the service & food are excellent, staff well informed regarding produce.
Always great food and the service is 5 star. Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options Food : 5/5 |
Its a wagamamas so its pretty much the same everywhere! Always be prepared for the fact food comes when its ready which can make eating times slightly uneven depending on what youre ordering!
Seated and Served quickly. Staff polite and friendly. Staff answered any questions we had about foods.
Had an amazing meal here today. The service staff was also so lovely, the best service from any Wagamama that I have ever had... a lovely lady named Renata tended to us and she was a delight.
The chicken katsu curry was lovely
Top notch Japanese fayre
Great place to visit..must try once!!!
Love it every single time. They are an amazing team and go above and behond to accomodate our needs. 5 stars indeed!
Went to Wagamama in Peterborough to celebrate a friends birthday and had amazing service by Joanne
Not my sort of thing. But it was okay I suppose. The chick that served me was pretty hot so thats at least 1 star
We really like the food. Always good and fresh and is quite healthy. If you want to eat at the same time its not the place to go.
Overrated
Lovely girl Robyn with blonde hair was amazing so sweet and hard working went abouv and beyond. Oh and Amazing eyeliner too!
As always great food, nothing out of this world but consistently good food and very good service.
Good place to eat if you know what you like as taste will be consistent. Vegetarian options: Good vegan options. Food : 5/5 |
Always great food, served quickly, right in the heart of the city
Fresh and tasty food
A mixed experience overall. While there were a few positive aspects, there were also significant drawbacks that affected my overall impression. The diverse menu options at Wagamama offered a range of choices to suit different preferences. However, the execution of the dishes was satisfactory rather than outstanding. The food was decent, but it didnt leave a lasting impression or exceed my expectations. The host did greet us properly and ensure a smooth start to our dining experience. While not overly warm or engaging, they did their job efficiently and created a decent initial impression. Now, onto the drawbacks. One notable disappointment was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The wall was stained and quite disgusting, which undermined the overall sense of hygiene and cleanliness. This aspect was particularly off-putting and detracted from the dining atmosphere. (Pictures) Regarding the service, there was a noticeable issue with our waitress. While serving our food, she seemed in a hurry to leave and we noticed her leaving shortly after attending to our table. This rushed approach may have contributed to the lack of attentive and friendly service we experienced during our meal. Its worth mentioning that Wagamama in Peterborough is more suitable for a quick lunch or casual meal if no other place is available, rather than any occasion more special or memorable. The overall ambiance and service quality do not lend themselves well to creating a more elevated dining experience. Finally, I must address the pricing at Wagamama. While the food was decent, the overall experience did not justify the higher prices. Comparable alternatives in the area offer better value for money, along with superior customer service and a more inviting interior. Considering the higher prices, I would recommend exploring other options in the area for a more satisfying dining experience.
Food was Amazing. Staff was really nice especially Renata who served us. Thank you. Definitely recommend
LOVE the food, comes out picture perfect every time. I was served by Bia, really friendly, polite, great super quick service. Will defo go again.
A nice choice of food, easy ordering and great taste.
Nice place to have dinner and try something different.
We were very excited to eat here since I have had many good experiences with wagamama in the past. They also had a gluten-free menu to cater for my partners allergies which was appreciated. However, from the moment we were sat down the waiters handled my partners allergies in an unprofessional and borderline discriminatory manner: apparently regular waiters arent fit to take orders from gluten-free people so in an utterly bizarre twist we had one waiter take my order and a manager taking my partners. She was even given a gluten sticker so that (I quote) no-one would come near her. They succeeded in making my partner the saddest thing in the room - that is, until our food arrived. My partner ordered a relatively bland-if-inoffensive curry with a mound of rice, which inexplicably had a lime wedge buried inside. It also contained squares of what she said was tofu, although I was convinced it was plasterboard. I, on the other side of the bench, had a plate of noodles and raw vegetables, featuring a mouthful of raw red onion that has left such a strong taste in my mouth that Ill probably pass it on to my future children. The act of eating raw onions was almost as eye-watering as the bill. Overall, our experience was very disappointing - one star is given for the free green tea.
Great food and a nice service system, food comes when its ready so you could get your starter after your main has arrived.
Order food via deliveroo for over £100. One bag of food delivered, another bag left behind in restaurant. Hungry guests at home. And Im embarrassed by all of that. Deliveroo refused to give me money back for missing items due to lack of evidence, when manager of the restaurant confirmed half of order not being delivered as second bag with our food still in restaurant. So no money and no food. Very disappointed Not gonna order from them anymore and not gonna use deliveroo as well
One of the better Wagas but definitely somewhere for a quick meal and not a catch up with the girls or a romantic evening! Food is always good and service is speedy. Very handy that you can pay online and just leave rather than hanging around. Beef Donburi is tasty!
Yum yum
We didnt have a booking but waited 5 minutes whilst they arranged a table. Friendly service. Drinks selection for Beers is a little limited. Menu has a good selection but not lots to choose from. Disabled access. Toilet. Food : 4/5 |
Stopped by for dinner as a group of 5, Seated fast and drinks order taken swiftly. Food came out fast and, as always, was excellent. Staff popped by to check all was okay. Restaurant very clean and staff helpful a d friendly. Would visit again
Absolutely wonderful service from Oli, Isaak and Ala! Had a great time, they were super friendly and the food was amazing . Great options for meat eaters and vegetarians! I came in with limited mobility due to a broken foot and was very well accommodated. Definitely recommend and will be coming back :)
Delicious
The food was average, the service was horrible the mains came before the starters, we were a group o 6 and the food did not arrived together, I asked for medium rare steak and was cooked well done so had to send it back, the waitress was covered in face piercings running the risk of dropping into the customers plate, overall experience was bad.
Not happy with the situation the Restaurant Group has caused in Peterborough no Frankies and Bennys now or Chiquitos and all the seem to be able to do is send me an email telling me my nearest Chiquitos is now in Northampton which is nearly an hour away or Frankies and Bennys, it seems they have closed all the Frankies and Bennys in East Anglia.
Foods no where near as good as it used feel like the recipies have changed, but service was good.
The restaurant itself is great and the staff are amazing ,its just really pricey for what you get
Too good
We ve gone here twice recently as a couple, and have been seated quickly. There waitresses were quick and helpful. The food is always fresh and tasty. Never disappointed! It s a very nice environment to be in, although it can be quite loud at times. I would highly recommend going if you haven t gone yet, you won t be disappointed! Parking: As it s located in the city centre, Queensgate parking is the go-to option here.
I have been here many times and it is definitely a go to restaurant now with friends and family. Every time Ive been there the food has been delicious, hot and quick to serve. The staff are always friendly and welcoming as well. The actual restaurant bit depending where you get sat, especially in the booths will feel like you arent even in Peterborough. Its great! I highly recommend having any of the Raman dishes and a side of chilli squid, its so good! Worth a visit, you wont regret it!
Excellent food and service. Look for to next visit.
Would recommend this place when in Peterborough, super friendly staff that are always eager to help, the food is amazing and tasty with a lot of vegetarian options, the prices depend on what you get, I recommend getting a good large starter rather than a smaller one but overall the prices are decent. The atmosphere is great very lively and modern decoration. The seats are fairly comfortable. Vegetarian options: Many opinions for vegetarian dishes Parking: Used the bus but there Queensgate parking which is paid Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly meus and activities to keep kids busy Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can get it comfortably would say seating is an issue
Most of time ready to wait in line by the door. Waiting time from 5-15 min. Food is alright and usually really fast comes to your table. Easy to pay by scaning qr code. Food
Great Ramen. Beer a bit expensive. But lovely food, friendly waitress and staff. And the Chicken Ramen was extremely tasty. Served with chopsticks and a fork and spoon. Well lit and a good atmosphere lots of young people, a great selection of dishes. Would like to try the gyozo next time.
Fantastic staff and lovely food. Massive portions so no need to order too much
Thank you Agneta for being so attentive and for looking after us so well, great customer service. We watched how you took it in your hands to keep the restaurant moving in a good flow with a super smile and a lovely friendly attitude! You kept our table happy making sure our food was on time and just as we hoped for. Thank you for making our experience a memorable one! Wagamama we hope you look after this lady well, she definitely knows what shes doing! Best wishes Agneta. Overall the food can good here depending on the chefs, they seem to rotate quite a lot or theres a high turnover of staff, Im not sure.
Was great service and amazing food, highly recommend
Brilliant and quick. Never had a bad meal
Wagamamas was our first date and 6 years later we still go for special dates. Amazing staff, amazing food and amazing restaurant. Rose petal gin as well is now my ultimate favourite! Vegetarian options: Vegatsu curry is my number one. I absolutely love it while my partner can chow down on a pork ramen
Wagamama Ramen is always an excellent choice, an explosion of taste. Excellent staff! Luckily the menu has vegetarian and vegan dishes, so my husband was happy too!
Very good. Tasty dinner
Fabulous gluten free deliciosness Dietary restrictions: Fab for gluten free and milk free Food : 5/5 |
Great restaurant. Wine is quite expensive now.
The food is always outstanding and when is not high standards the staff always help you in getting new dish. Today I was complimented by waiter Renata with 2 x £15 vouchers because it s my birthday I have been a loyal customer for several months and always feel very welcome
Very nice and tasty noodles yummy yummy and lovely atmosphere and prices for my girlfriend and mine dinner yummy and tap water and customer service is brilliant
Typical Wagamama- food fresh and good but some portion sizes could be bigger. Well, 5 years later and were still visiting. Food portions seem a but more substantial now and the selection of dishes is extensive. Presentation and flavour is very good. Staff are all friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic.
Foods not that great and poor service
Everything was great. Food was so delicious. Service was fantastic would love to come again
Prices are well above reasonable. Ordered firecracker prawn curry and mainly ate vegetables, I counted 4 prawns if that, and they are charging 15 pound for this dish. Disgraceful. How can they charge 15 pound for such little food. Wont be going back, or recommending.
The food is always fresh and tasty, and prices are reasonable.
Excellent scoff and service but busy
Always a great place to eat wherever the restaurant is in uk
The next Frankie and bennys? Gone downhill rapidly. As a gochujang lover I was looking forward to the new chicken gochujang rice dish. Wow was I disappointed. A few, and I mean a few, pieces of unseasoned grilled chicken with 1 or 2 red chilli flakes on and a bowl of white rice. Not a single taste of gochujang. The yaki soba, normally a staple, was also horrid, dried up and the whole dish just tasted strongly of mushroom and nothing else. Sort it out!
Great tasty food sooo many vegan options and helpful staff
Good fresh food. Very fast and friendly service
Best service I ever had. Great food and great staff.
We had teriyaki soba and ramen which we were both very disappointed with, we got gin and tonics and our drinks were horrible. We ordered green tea which was cold. Never been so underwhelmed by a Wagamamas before . Normally enjoy the food and drinks. Staff were friendly and quick to seat us. The chilli squid we had was lovely
My first time at Wagamama. Superb! Dont askme the na Mes but it was exciting food! Food
I ve been here several times in recent months and i can say i haven t been disappointed. the atmosphere is great and i like the layout out of the room. The food is amazing, although i have the same thing most times i am never disappointed. They are very accommodating to allergies and helped me when i asked about what i could eat. I would highly recommend
Food good as always is
I ordered the chicken Firecracker - it cost £13 and the chicken amounted to 4 tiny bits which I imagine collectively cost circa 20 pence. It is nothing short of daylight robbery imho-
if was lovely and stuff very friendly!!
Absolutely never fails to deliver a positive experience. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and banging food! Kid-friendliness: Kids get a kid-friendly menu and some crayons for colouring. To be honest, seems a little basic but kept little guy occupied. Does what it s intended to do.
An absolutely phenomenal evening. We were celebrating my brother s 30th birthday. Paige was absolutely amazing, looked after us and very patiently answered all of our questions and gave wonderful recommendations. It was my mums first experience and she absolutely loved it!
Beef brisket teriyaki. Quality
Staff were rude. 20 minutes to wait for a table, when there was loads of space. What was more annoying, was the fact the waiter got our table confused with another table, so we paid more and that table paid less. Not impressed at all. Food was Luke warm at best.
Great food!
Their meal is great but their toilet is trash. I dont know why a place with so much visitor has such a dirty toilet
Great food
