Recently I ordered their combo (steak and chicken ), wasn t excepting to be that great, but it had no taste to it, just bland! Lots of mushrooms, fewer portions of chicken and steak looked like straight from packaged portion. Wanted to try something different but never trying it again. Friendly staff tho.

They couldn t tell me if the noodles were egg noodles or rice noodles. Nonetheless, they were still good noodles. I m pretty sure they re egg noodles btw.

Ordered tonight spicy beef with onions and chicken dish. The chicken was good but the beef was terrible. Dry and hard also rice not overall tasting good. Disappointed for the flavour of the overall food experience.

I found this place a coiple months ago and i am obsessed. The first time i went i got the steak&chicken hibachi. It was amazing. Even better with that sauce that they have. Not sure what sauce it is but i can literally drink it its so good. Food is delicious and service is great. I will be going back again soon. I have to try everything on the menu.

Really good food but so cheap with the hot sauce & teriyaki sauce. I find this such a turn off for food spots. We are paying $20 for rice and some meat please be generous with hot sauce its such a simple condiment that should not he charged 50 cents for and if you are going to charge please fill the container.

This is a hidden gem. Food is delicious, just like the sit down Hibachi but you take it home. The owner s are very nice and very healthy portions. I crave this place and have to stop myself sometimes so I don t gain too much weight.

Great food, I always get the chicken &sl shrimp with fried rice & vegetables & I hear the steak and salmon are amazing as well. Huge portion of really good food, one of my favorite restaurants!

Randomly stopped in here on our way through the city and were pleasantly surprised by the options and flavours of our meals. I ordered the short rib and my partner ordered the steak and jumbo shrimp. 10/10. And we loved the extra sauces that came with them for the rice and veggies!

Been going here since day 1, love this place

This is my favourite spot, even when it gets cold it s still amazing and I hate cold food. The flavours are amazing especially the teriyaki chicken that s the one right there. The reason why I put 4 stars is because every time I go in it seems like the chicken and steak portion decrease in quantity. And with the steak they sometimes put an overwhelming amount of mushrooms, and like 4 small pieces of steak. When you ask to remove the steak you ll get a massive amount of rice and barely any steak. Overall I love Hibachi Grill definitely go there if you haven t.

Stopped in after seeing the great reviews . Great option of proteins from a takeout place. Opted for shrimp & steak with mixed veg over noodles. Unfortunately, I got rice. The portion was big, plenty of tender beef and shrimp. 10 shrimp, to be exact. Rice & veg were on point. The side teriyaki sauce was tasty, but next, I will ask for another as its small. The yum yum sauce was great as well. Prices are more than fair. No complaints at all on the food. Definitely will be back. Expect friendly service, fresh and fast food. The atmosphere & deco are lacking. Its not a sit-down place, really, but there is a table & chairs. Parking: Easy parking and plenty of it.

Still as good as when I first came here five years ago, just missing the seafood lemongrass sauce they used to make.

Bought this for lunch today for the first time - have to say this is my new favourite spot in Pickering. The flavour was perfect, portion was great and the price was right. No frills place and perfect comfort food for take out. Everything is grilled to perfection and very flavourful. One of those places that serves up simple dishes but done amazingly.

This place is incredible! I always get the Steak and Spicy Chicken with rice, with extra Teryaki Sauce, and it is absolutely DELICIOUS and the portion is great!!! Would HIGHLY recommend!!

Excellent foods and price

Great taste, great portions, great value for money. They have their own sauce thats quite delicious that you get with your meal as well. Takes debit cards, but not credit cards. One of those quintessential hole in the wall places that offer a fantastic meal.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Pickering. They re very generous with their portions and gives you a good price. The food they provide has always been great and it always leaves me satisfied after my meal. The service is fantastic too and they re super fast and provides great quality. I wish I knew about this place sooner, I recommend anyone looking for something good to eat to come here.

We heard this place had good portions at a decent price. When we checked online, Google said Dine-In option offered but there is no dine in at all - completely take out. We ordered the third deluxe combo ($39.99) w/ beef ribs, shrimp (4pcs), spicy chicken and beef yakisoba noodles. Our main reaction: they overcompensate with carbs (rice, noodles, etc). Overall, good place to go in a pinch.

My go to place for Japanese food. I always get the teriyaki chicken and I visit frequently. The food is always amazing and the owners are very friendly.

This is our new local favourite! We ordered for takeout, and service was really fast (it was ready for pickup in about 10 min). We ordered two combos: one with steak and chicken, one with steak, chicken, and shrimp. Everything was so delicious, even the rice and veggies (it comes with onions, zucchini, and full mushrooms). The staff in the restaurant were very friendly as well. We re glad we discovered this restaurant.

Simply delicious. I loved the squid and though it was tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the side of vegetables, which adds a touch of health. You can tell that all the meat and vegetables are fresh and the quality is super high. Lastly, the brown rice is also really yummy. Overall, this is a super healthy and delicious option for those looking to try this Asian Fusion cuisine. The prices here are decent as well and dont destroy your wallet. I look forward to coming back here for more!

This place is a gem. Uncomplicated menu consisting mainly of fresh grilled meats and/ or seafood served on fried rice. Portions are generous and service is quick. Hibachi grill proves that sometimes simple is best.

The food is fresh and very tasty however the combos are 70% plain rice 20% vegetables and 10% meat and asking for extra sauce is always a struggle. If you are going to give me so much rice I at least need extra sauce... overall it s ok

I went here a few months ago and thought I left a review. Apparently I didnt, or it was removed. I love Teppanyaki. This was not quality food. The man working was super nice, 5 star for service. However, the rice is not really fried rice its white rice with soya sauce on a grill... No egg or anything. They should list it as plain fried rice. The chicken was inedible, they must be buying the cheapest pieces on the market. All cartilage and bad pieces. If the quality of meat was better then it would be more edible. I was excited for this and it was not even edible(Esp the meat)

This place was pleasantly good. The food had a different taste than most other Asian Food places. The meat had a really nice smoky taste. The service was really good as well. The people there very friendly. Will definitely try this place again in the future.

Food protion is always on point but they are cheap on the teriyaki sauce. A tiny container so small its small like a baby sip. When you ask for extra they say yes and tide up your bag and only give you one. Everytime i have to go back in to get extra teriyaki sauce. And they dont have soy sauce packages so you have to ask for them to put some on which they barely do. Trust me!!! You need the sauce to enjoy the food cause they serve it to you blend. 2/5 for hassle all the time.

I came here the other day and tried the spicy grilled chicken dish. The food was very flavorful and and portions was decent. I just wish they gave a little more hot sauce with the order and didnt put so little in the cup. Asides that, I highly recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed!

The short ribs here are just hands-down awesome! We pretty much just always order the same dish every time we do! Make sure to order an extra side of short ribs with your Hibachi Beef Short Ribs or Hibachi Angus Steak meal. It is so delicious!

Very friendly and welcome girl who took or order. I ordered the hibachi spicy beef and onion. GF ordered the hibachi teriyaki chicken. Beef/onion had a nice level of spice out of the box but I added even more with the exquisite hot sauce provided. GF indicated teriyaki was a little on the sweet side 4 out of 5 for teriyaki chicken; 5 out 5 for beef/onion. Both agreed the rice is tremendous. Would return.

Ordered an unagi don today because it was good the last time I came here. I barely have half a fillet of eel. Asked for extra zucchini, I dont even have enough to cover a table spoon. we ordered a side order of zucchini and onion and got charged an extra 2 dollars for the zucchini . Which by the way was completely flavourless. last time we ordered it was coated or fried in a marinade and melt in your mouth soft. but this time bland, barely cooked. this is a place that five months ago i would have given 5 stars. Hibachi grill has dropped in quality.

Fried rice was stale. They didnt provide any utensils. Also, they lied to me saying they dont take credit card and wanted me to pay cash. While waiting for my food, the customer behind me clearly paid by credit card. Horrible service.
