Tonight s experience was terrible. They did not have a record of our reservation, the table they gave us needed another chair. The manager was to bring us another chair but never did. We had to canvas the restaurant for another chair. 2 of our party received their food and finished it about 15 mins before our food arrived. When the rest of food finally arrived it was cold. Requested to speak to the manager 3 times but he refused to come out to speak to us. The waitress offered us a 20% discount which we didn t feel was enough. Spoke to another table that had the same bad experience we had. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Found out about this place throughout tik tok so decided to check it out. It was a Thursday evening, so tried the wings special for $12. I had asked to upgrade the fries to a Greek salad. The wings were very dry, think it sat too long in fryer. Wings had no flavour, was suppose to their garlic red pepper dry rub. The extra $4 I paid for the salad was such a small portion. I ordered a plate of jalapeño poppers and they were partially frozen! Drinks were reasonable $5 domestic pints. The only bright spot was the waitress she was very attentive and friendly. I may try them again and see if it was an off night at Sabina s.

Great place to eat and drink with friends and family

My husband take me out for dinner the service was bad wrong wine ,we order Rid&wing combo, went it come the fries was burn, the Rids wasnt prepared properly it was raw, the wing was salty snd cold food take so long to comes to us when its comes its all cold food ,i am disappointed with service I will not Come back to this place.

Friendly service. The pasta was flavourful, coated nicely in a creamy sauce. The spicy wings are the best! Good size wings and tender. Enjoyed my take-out dinner from here!

Horrible service, horrible food. Expect to wait 20 minutes plus for someone to take your order. The restaurant smells like cigarette smoke and stale food. Not to mention the food is absolute garbage. Stay away from this place unless you like to be ignored and then overcharged for garbage.

Great food and prices. It s surpasses any other pub restaurant in Pickering. Just beside the Amish Furniture store. Smash burger was great. Friendly server during lunch on July 28th, didn t catch her name.

Unfortunately the food portions don t meet the price expectations and not only that but the amazing service is not appreciated due to the fact that the servers do not receive any of their tips and go straight to the owner. As a server this is incredibly infuriating to hear. Will not be returning.

Unusual location for a pub style restaurant , but after entering there were a few regulars who the staff knew by name , always a good sign for a pub, Large indoor seating and a very large patio. They feature daily specials and a very good crafted Sabina draft. Cassie my waitress was very friendly , tried their wings and fires which was just OK.

This used to be my favorite Pub and I used to come all the time but in recent months I feel like this place has been ran down and the manager or owner doesnt really care for this place. The service has gotten really bad because Ive noticed theres only been a couple employees working. We waited 40min for food the other day which was ridiculous and I felt bad for the waiters as they were running around everywhere.

I ordered the Atlantic salmon and I felt I got ripped off. The portion was extremely small and I was starving after I eat the entire meal. I ordered through Uber. Never again.

Bought a Chilli Chicken Kothu Roti. Paid $18 for a small portion where as any other Sri Lankan store charges you $12. Few pieces Chilli Chicken and alot of roti. It smelled bad as if it was cooked in used oil. I took two bites and threw it in the garbage. My partner tried some as well but couldnt finish it due to the awful smell and taste. Never again at this place.

2 pounds of wings half barbecue and half Cajun dry some fries an order of bruschetta to share. Food was fast hot and tasty at a reasonable price, would highly recommend

Ordered a shareable two pound wings and fries special for $20. This place allows you to have two flavors of sauce, which is a good thing! Service is fast and efficient, especially with drinks. No photos of the food but we took that of the Rare Super Blue Moon outside. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes available. Menu specials change daily. Parking: No problem getting free parking. Ample spots on Front and side parking lots.

A few of my friends met for dinner. The waitress was friendly but mixed up the order, and my friend had backed the dish and had asked to add spinach and shrimp to her meal (she was paying extra for it). The shrimp were added, but not the spinach. They fixed the meal by sauteing the spinach and adding it to it, making the pasta a bit runny. My friends apple crumble pie was warm, and mine was just out of the fridge. This is my first visit, and it was a bit disappointing.

I love the taste of Belgian Moon pint in this bar! The staff is welcoming and the food is also tasty and served quickly. Every day there are special offers for the drinks and foods that are so economically priced!

Basic bar food which was okay & friendly staff.

We havent been here since last summer. The restaurant was almost empty on a Wednesday night. Only 3 tables. The food was hit or miss. The 2lb chicken wings with fries $18 were kind of dry and overcooked. The jerk lacked the seasoning and was dry. The lemon pepper didnt have anu flavor at all. The fish and chips $13 were good and came with coleslaw, generous serving of fries and tartar sauce. The server did mix up an order and gave us a meat lovers pizza instead of the meat lovers pasta. It was $14 pasta night, but the server ended up charging us full price on the pasta but we got the pizza free of charge. Overall, the experience was satisfactory and food needs some improvement. Be sure to check out their specials.

Great taste of food and amazing service.

We had a good experience here. Friendly staff and good portions. I think it was a little understaffed for a Saturday when we got there so service was slower and good came out very sporadically for our party which was a little frustrating. But overall, a great local place and we will be back.

Our server Kiara was fantastic... Appys not so great... Steak and Wings were good as was the Quesadillas.... My issue was the time it took for food to come out. Will go back for another round and see if anything changes, maybe kitchen had a bad night.. Well see next visit.

Thank you to Taliyah our server for looking after our party of 15 including a young child on Saturday night February 25, 2023. It was a very busy night at the restaurant and they were short staffed so understandably there was a very long wait to get our drinks and food but it was worth it as everyone really enjoyed their dishes and the food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the wings and ribs special and the pint of Stella Artois special and the plate of appetizers, pasta, specialty drinks, special in house spicy wing sauce, and mutton pizza all got good reviews. The menu is huge and Im happy to return in the future to try more of it. 4/5 stars only because of the long wait or otherwise 5/5. Taliyah was very friendly, helpful, kind, patient, and hard-working; she deserves a raise! Parking: Its in a big plaza, there are plenty of parking spots. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often, so that was not the issue here. Not the food on the other hand was horrible I do not recommend the restaurant for food at all. Just to name 1 thing out of many that we had was the munchie platter everything on there kinda tasted the same which I believe was cooked in old oil. Oh I forgot to add when I phoned to see if they were busy and if they had pool table one of the ladies that works there lied to me and told me they had 2 big parties there and they were short staffed so we would need to be patient with them. We got there 20 mins later and there was a family of 4 eating and about 6 people at the bar. They just didnt want our party of 12 there. Their pool table is tucked in a little corner they guys kept saying they were playing pool in the fridge.

We decided to dine at Sabinas on the 17th of June upon the recommendation of few friends. It was our 1st visit and we were very haply that this restaurant stays open late during the weekend. 5 out of 5 on how good the food tasted and the portions. 5 out of 5 on the EXCEPTIONAL service by Amma. We found her to be super knowledgeable, very pleasant and our 1st visit turned into a sheer delight being served by Amma due to her above & beyond hospitality. We shall definitely be coming back. I am giving the place 4 stars instead of 5, only cause we feel that the ambiance could be improved a little. The entrance inside could be a little more welcoming. Otherwise a million stars for this place.

The food is standard pub fare. Good, but not great. Mostly from frozen, mass produced off site. Wings are quite good, although slightly overcooked. Service was fantastic, We will be coming back for Thursdays Wing night with friends.

Food was cold, you have to get up to look for the servers to come when you need something. The tables are very sticky. Fish and chips and wings are great. The rest of the food was cold it had to be sent back and they just put the same plate in the microwave. Not very profesional for the price of the food. Margaritas are nothing but pure sirop, you could get a sugar rush on the first sip. Don t spend your money there. Go look for something better. We spent over $400 and they did not even say we will give you a discount for the inconvenience, instead we got bad attitude.

Food was cold, ordered the steak and lobster tail, my choice to not send back the food and eat it cold. 4 other dishes on our party also cold, 3 dishes were sent back, returned microwaved and disgusting. Spent about 400 including drinks. The only acceptable dish was the chicken wings for appetizers and fish and chips. Also returned a Margarita that was only syrup. Server was nice and apologetic but had us waiting for drinks. Minimum would have expected management to come to our table to ask us about it or have a deduction on our bill. Will never be back nor recommend anyone wasting money. Go somewhere else!!!!!!

After being a regular at Portly Piper in Ajax, decided to give Sabinas a try. The bad after taste still lingers in my mouth. Ordered some beer and Calamari....the worse Calamari I have ever tried in my life...cold, rubbery and waste of money and time. They didnt even put a thought to the dish itself. Spend your money elsewhere.Highly NOT APPROVED !!

Had lunch here about 2 weeks ago. The place was very cold, AC too strong, like a fridge but not in a nice way. Ordered beef fajitas, extremely poor cut of meat used, especially for what they charge, low quality and extremely low grade, probably the type of cuts the butchers would have put straight in the garbage not long ago. Really not sure how there are so many good reviews and great ratings, which prompted me to try this place, my first time here is also my last time.

Sabinas restaurant is fantastic! They warmly welcomed me in with a warm smile and with great attitude! The service was also fairly fast which is great as I was in the rush! The food was also so flavorful and savory, its on of a kind that I truly cherished and was shocked by the taste. It was an incredibly good experience and would recommend this to everybody who is interested in a one-of-a-kind cuisine! 5/5 for sure!

Have been here many times and never disappointed. Like all restaurants some dishes are more favourable than others. My favourites being the Curry Chicken (South Asian style) and the Wings and Fries (I get my fries well done seasoned well with a side of gravy). There are many more menu options I enjoy though. Atmosphere has been great and the crowd ranges from slow to extremely busy depending on the day from my experience. Gave 4/5 on Service as it is good but sometime slow. Starting off great. Quaint bar, cozy vibe, very reasonable prices, friendly waiter. Then realizing why - soggy quesadillas (in pics, the small plate shows the oil that was dripped out), waitress not coming by for long periods of time, what we think to be her boyfriend vaping INSIDE the bar (my pregnant wife was there), no utensils given. Left after appetizers.

Food was decent, staff was nice but I ordered a margarita and there was salt all around the whole glass, not just on the rim. I m talking 360 covered in salt. After trying to wipe off the salt from the glass and the rim, I got towards the end of my drink and there was a pile of salt at the bottom of the glass. I think I only drank about 10% of the drink before it felt like I was swallowing seawater.

Unfortunately due to the fact that I was employee over 10 years ago customer service does not apply to me or my family. I naturally recommend this place to many people because the food used to be high quality and great priced. I took my friend there for lunch 2 weeks ago and received my calamari appetizer that consisted of no more than eight rings cut in half along with several fries that were dropped on the plate. For this I only received $3 off my bill. Overlooking this me and my family 3 days later ordered takeout. The entire takeout order was low quality, missing meat and stale cold fries. The manager responded as we had hoped and provided us with a replacement order for the entire takeout bill. So of course, giving them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered the same items again. When I bit into my Curry quesadilla, I hit something hard enough that it chipped my lower canine tooth. When I called to notify the manager what had happened I told them that I could provide photos of the object I had been into. Which was over a full inch in length and an inch in diameter. He responded saying it was a piece of cinnamon. That is it. No apology and no form of remorse for the fact that I now have cosmetic damage to my mouth from eating his food. Im assuming since you recognize my last name he figured it was not necessary to uphold customer service and or apologize for the tremendous inconveniences this has been. I do not recommend this restaurant and I do not recommend the management.

Our little family has been living in Pickering for almost 3 years now, and this is the first time weve been here, and let me tell you, the menu does NOT lie when it says best wings in Pickering If you live in Durham, you have to try this place. If you dont like wings, their menu is overflowing with other choices. It is also very kid-friendly (in terms of menu) and service is excellent. Lost one star for me because our order took long to come out, but the wait was worth it. Will definitely come back

I went to Sabinas for dinner with a friend. The restaurant is big, with a decent lay out. The atmosphere is nice, and the restaurant is clean. The staff were all friendly, and polite. More personable than Ive seen at a lot of other places. The menu selection is very big, with breakfast and lunch options, as well. The food was not very good, though. I ordered a French Onion Soup to start. The flavour of the broth was very bland, and the cheese was rubbery and also without flavour. My friend and I both got pasta dishes, which had nice presentation and portions, but didnt taste very good. I got the Meat Lovers pasta, and the ingredients felt like there were a bit low quality. I would likely return again in the future, in the chance that this was just an off night for the cooking staff, as the service was really good, but I would more likely consider other options first.

Wonderful experience

Hannah s customer service was amazing tonight. Had a wonderful evening and wonderful conversations with her as well. She helped me and my family out on picking certain food items and recommending good dishes. She Definitely deserves a promotion or even a raise. Will be back to visit again soon
