I was there last night and the place is really nice, but the point that stood out to me was the service. The hijabi behind the counter (Jenna i think ) was so helpful. Truly brought so much heart and soul into the place! I would recommend going there just to see her

Recently visited and immediately appreciated the welcoming service. I have visited from time to time when needing a quiet and relaxing place to work from. Definitely a big fan of the Juhu Blast refresher and the poutines on the menu, perfect for fall! Kadir was the person who took my order and provided an extremely friendly experience and good recommendations. I will definitely be coming back! Vegetarian options: Many options

Great spot to grab some chai and desi bites in the Durham region. Quick service on the chai (usually) and food is decent, but could improve. Overall a great spot to hang out with friends and family, or even a casual date.

Didnt like the tea.

We had gone for the tea. While the place and ambience was great, the tea was disappointing. We ordered Rose Kahwa (felt more like some rose syrup) and Masala Chai . I wish they had the classic kahwa.

Had a horrible experience while visiting them today. I ordered the Paneer panini for my husband and a chicken masala sandwich for myself. To my husbands surprise while chewing he felt something taste weird and when he looked at the piece it was chicken. He being a vegetarian was super pissed He went straight to the server to inform them of what happened but instead of apologizing they asked him that maybe he ate the other chicken sandwich by mistake ! We have been regular visitors of this place since more than a year but this is very disgraceful. Please have better kitchen hygiene and service future. You have lost customers today!

Good atmosphere, most of the time its very busy and noisy environment. The prices are pit high especially the teas are very expensive. Im not. Gonna say if I recommend it or not, I enjoyed it while I was there, but im not gonna say anything else. Food

I love the food and drinks at chachees, and the environment is great for families. Unfortunately the customer service is lacking. I ordered a large drink but only received a medium, instead of making me a new drink the staff simply filled a small Dixie cup with the additional drink which was very disappointing. Additionally, the washrooms are very outdated and poorly maintained.

We love coming to this place,we usually have the Ginger chai and Masala chai. Unfortunately the past couple times that we had the Ginger Chai, it didn t have the ginger flavour at all. Even after telling them they still made it the same. Moreover the cups are so hot, they should provide a cup sleeve.

It was my first time I loved the environment it is nice and cozy. I ordered the Chachees Karak chai,Philly cheese steak and mango falooda. Each and every item were rich in flavors. I also had chance to talk with the owner he helped me choosing the food items which were amazing. I would definitely recommend the cafe.

Firstly the cafe is so aesthetic, well arranged and very cleanly maintained. I visited with my friends, it was a great hangout place they also have some board games as well. Starting with the food i have tried the samosa chaat it was the star item from what we ordered and my personal favorite. Their faloodas are very good. And special mention to their almond croissants very yum. My friends tried their house special chai and it was really good. Must visit place if you are in and around with your friends and family.

The quality of food is great.the ginger chai was nice .Pistachio falooda was awesome. I ordered a red velvet slice for take out and was a Lil shocked with the price $9 thats pretty steep for a tiny piece of cake. Overall is a good place to hang out.

Im not too much of a fan of falooda but I gotta say the falooda here is really good, tasty, quality, I like the ice cream they add to it. I specifically had the mango falooda

The karak chai is worse. It s not worth it. Waste of money.

I usually visit Chachees weekly, but today was disappointing. I waited over five minutes for someone to take my order, even though the server saw me and wasn t busy. When he finally took my order, he seemed inattentive and didn t make any conversation. I understand people have off days, but when I ordered chai, he didn t ask if I wanted it with or without sugar. Unfortunately, it was with sugar, which was frustrating since I have blood sugar issues. I also wasn t given utensils with my meal. Despite the café being quiet, the server walked by multiple times to clean the SAME tables, making me feel rushed to get out. On a positive note, the other server (the woman) is always so friendly and creates such a cozy vibe. I m giving two stars purely for her excellent service!

Great place and great food

WOW. This store is brilliant - everyone should stop by! The dishes are good, the chai tea is perfectly seasoned, and the price is not that expensive! But the service is in English only (as usual for this region)

We can t wait to come back here! Tucked away in an unassuming plaza is this beautifully decorated cafe offering Indian (and non-Indian) snacks and drinks. We had an almond croissant and banana bread which were both delicious - and loved by our toddler so thats a huge plus. We got an americano and a different coffee drink which tasted a bit like a french vanilla.

Everything about this place in terms of food, taste and ambience was great. The only thing that put me off was their floor, utterly disgusting. It looked like that it was never mopped, my heart was sinking when my kids were sitting on the floor, like how dirty it has to be for them to consider it. Please clean that floor

Good experience, good hot beverages

I had the worst experience. The food and service was good however the Bell Representatives having a meeting were so loud and did not care for any one else trying to enjoy a snack. The Bell Rep ensured every else including his team heard him loud and clear.

Got a sandwich that barely had anyy filling in it. It was awful. Felt scammed to get a sandwich that I paid $12 for and got less meat than what a street vendor would give. Not coming back again.!

Not as good as their Scarborough location. The Philly Cheesesteak was horrible and nothing like what we are used to. The amount of meat was laughable. Also the falooda is a hit or miss depending on who is making it, instead of the consistent quality we get from other location. Wouldnt recommend the Pickering location!

You must try the Kadak Chai if you are fan of a strong aromatic Indian chai / tea! Delicious...the staff is pleasant as well. Like the interior but the place need to keep clean at all times. Also, a suggestion if the management try Indian sitting style, it will take it to next level <3

We always get Karak chai from Chachi as its our favorite. We had a chance to talk to the owner today, He recommended that we try their PINK CHAI which we did and now I guess we have 2 favorites from Chachi. 10/10 Id recommend trying their entire menu if possible.

I ordered Philly chicken masala sandwich. The bun was absolutely worst quality and low graded bread I have ever tried! Minimal chicken quantity with no taste at all! This was my first time visiting here and I won t ever come back. Do not go there otherwise waste your hard income money!

Good food, good service. The chais are lovely. Kashmiri is a tad too sweet for me personally. The snacks are also good if you are in the mood for bhel puri / gol gupey.

Best cafe in town! The chai is rich and flavourful. The food is always fresh and delicious. The space is bright, welcoming, and clean. The staff are incredibly respectful and attentive, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and valued. I highly recommend trying this cafe out if you haven t already done so.

Nice ambience. Food is not upto the mark. They need to learn how to make good chaat. Paani for paani puri was just 6-8 spoons. Not worth the the money.

I was very confused on what I wanted to order because I have never been to this location and the worker Maliha was so kind and helped me pick an item and promised to make it herself really good for me. The tea was very good.

The people that take your order are really nice. The presentation on the mango shake and pistachio falooda are great. I recommend those drinks and the cappuccino.

Karak Chai is delicious!

For a place who specializes in chai, Chachee s Chai Cafe has not figured out how to source a to-go cup and lid that doesn t spill everywhere. If you want your clothes and car to drink more chai than you, go here.

I truly loved it here at this cafe. The food and drinks are well thought and delicious at a reasonable price as well. The chai made me feel as if I m back home again. If you re in this area and your hungry/ thirsty this is a must try.

It s make me feel like i am in India. Best place to eat and have a chat with group. Only place where tea is cooked Indian style.

Absolutely love love love this place!! The esthetic of the cafe is cozy and has a modern Indian vibe. The young lady at the counter and the owner are very sincere and a pleasure to converse with. The food was yummy! 2 of us shared the chowpatty chaat and the butter paneer sandwich and it was more than enough for both of us. Prices are very reasonable for a cool cafe vibe. The house chai, lightly sugar was perfect. All the food was impressive. Thank you guys for a great experience. We will definitely be back.

We stopped by Chachi Chais in Pickering for a quick get-together before heading to a friends house, but ended up spending over two hours there and even invited more friends to join us. We ordered chai, mocha, and sandwiches all were incredibly tasty! Thank you, Chachi Chai, for the wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Great location close to the highway..the place was packed when we got there but the servers helped us right away and were very friendly. The decor and seating are really nice as well. We had karak chai, falooda and chowpatty chaat all of which tasted great but karak chai was the best. Highly recommend!

Myself with bunch of friens decided to have some light food with karak chai, and we found Chachees Chai in the Pickering area, I definitely recommend this location because of quantity, price, and, of course good taste.

I love their pink chai, it is super delicious. Its worth traveling from oshawa to pickering for it.

Visited this amazing place today for the first time. Wonderful atmosphere and aesthetically pleasing environment. The Pistachio falooda I ordered was such a delight. Chawpatty chat was amazing too. Not to mention the girl who prepared the order was very nice and kind. I would give extra stars at service just for her. Made my day!! Best cafe I ve ever visited!!

Great experience at Chachis Chai bar last weekend after hearing many good things from neighbors and friends. Got the spicey turkey panini and butter chicken poutine and it was DELICIOUS. Made fresh to order and we can really taste the difference. Drinks were also good (we had the mango drink with jelly and noodles). Will definitely come back to try more things.

Love everything about this place. The Tea is fantastic! Ambiance is great! Service is great! However, price especially for Chai is very high for someone who comes multiple times a week.

Always a pleasant experience and I go there very frequently. I love their food (specially the chawpatty chat), ambience and the friendly faces. The only thing I feel they could improve on is to add more staff, they are understaffed.

Beautiful restaurant, kind staff. However we ordered the Kashmiri/pink tea and found it was way too sweet. Felt like maybe Rooh Afza was added. Did not taste like authentic Kashmiri chai at all.

Go for the ambiance and showmanship, not for the food as it ain t up to the mark. It s like the good old Indian saying - an elephant s teeth are one for showing off and another for chewing food.. all chaats taste very mediocre and the crux of the name of this place, chai, isn t very kadak (a.k.a. Up to the mark) either. Could be more disappointed if it wasn t for the ambiance. Everything seems too pricey for what you get in return. Not impressed.

Its great food, only 4 stars because its the type of food Id love in the morning but you open way too late for that. Would prefer a breakfast time because Im always craving a panini from you guys in the morning.

My daughter and I visited this location today. I have to be honest and admit that my daughter had been begging me to take her there for the past two weeks as she had visited this place with my niece. Today I relented and agreed. I am so happy that I did because my daughter was absolutely correct, the drinks are amazing. We had gone there after I had picked her up straight after work, so I was hungry. We decided to try Chachis Fries. We are so thrilled that we did because they were absolutely amazing. My daughter had the Rani Taj refresher (which she had before) and I had the Mocha that was made from almond milk. They were absolutely superb. We recommend that you try this location as the food was brilliant, so much so that we cannot wait to visit again. The icing on the cake was having the wonderful personality of Jennah to attend to us. She was extremely patient with my daughter and I as we deliberated over the menu. Each time that I approached the counter she had a beautiful smile on her face and was more than willing to assist us. We even got to mention her service to Sahir, who too is a credit to this establishment.

Tea is good. Little bit pricey.

Ordered a pink chai and Chachi fries. Fries are covered in sauces and the red one isn t the best tasting. The pink chai was absolutely disgusting. Not much flavour tasted like water and lots of pink food colouring. Authentic pink chai doesn t need any colour added. Service was mid. The girl at the counter spoke so softly could barely hear her and she had an attitude. No smile whatsoever. Overall 1/10 experience. Won t return.

Used to go to the original location on Ellington but this one is closer to me. The portions have definitely gotten smaller, less chicken on the poutine etc. but still a nice option for a quick snack.

Just Superb!! The taste of the paneer rolls were - Exquisite !! Wow!!

Twice have asked for the food to be warmed and was first told that they only had microwave (drying out the pastry and making it hard). Today the food again seemed to be microwaved and rubbery and it seemed not true as claimed that it was warmed in a convection oven. Owners and staff should buy a proper oven for warming pastries and be honest. Patrons recommended to not have bakery goods warmed up. The Desi Coffee is the best! Will come back, but only for this.

Had a lovely experience at this place! Gentleman by the name of Laith helped me with food recommendations and was very patient and kind... My picky toddler did not have a problem with the food here which was a relief. Will be coming back!! :)

Nothing good to share. Had chowpatty chaat, masala chai, golgappe and none of them wre worth the money... The taste was way way below average.. I havent had this bad chaat or golgappe in canada... Would def never go back.. this was definitely the first and last time here... Zero taste and the service wasnt any good either.

We are a regular to the lebovic location, wanted to take our friends for chai in ajax and suggested this place. Didn t disappoint. They have a variety of snacks with veg and non veg options. Their chai s are amazing! I personally love the buffalo tandoori fries and the samosas. The cheese toast is also tasty. Ample seating and parking available. Good customer service.

First time ordering from Chachis, wow! I ordered the butter paneer poutine. Absolutely fantastic taste, great fries/cheese ratio. Love the Tandoori seasoning on the paneer great touch. Also ordred pani puri (Gol Gappa) 10/10 was worried about the crispiness because of delivery but it was actually perfect. The flavors are amazing with the spicy water situation. 100% recommend and will be back myself.

The chai was great and the atmosphere is great. The service today was so rude I will it be going back. We asked the server if we could get some teas to stay and some to go. She could not accommodate that request. It was such a some request we left the establishment and won t be going back. She was so rude and obviously didn t care. Very disappointed service is everything.
