Rajdhani Sweets & Restaurant in Pickering

Ordered Dhokla and other snacks on Ubereats today. Literally garbage. All dry and old and stale. Very poor quality. Someone should look into it. Disappointing and disastrous!! How can you send such items? Would you give them to your family? Why are you serving this quality to your guests; they are spending money, they don t deserve this. This way you will be out of business. I will bring back your Dhokla tomorrow and ask you if you can eat it.

Excellent Sweets & Service

Visited here since a colleague brought some samosas to share a few days back and I really enjoyed them. When I entered there was this couple who was hovering by the desserts (they were far from the cash) so I went over by the cash to line up. As soon as the cashier finished with the customer in front of me, that same couple who was browsing the desserts swooped in front of me and the worker just serves her like nothing ever happened? like hello?? It seemed the couple already had a preorder, but if they were still browsing at least take my order and then pay them out? Or at least acknowledge they were being dicks by doing that? Clearly they couldve waited if they had enough time to browse while other guests were ordering. Idk it just rubbed me the wrong way how it was handled. The samosas were fire though but idk if Ill come back honestly. Vegetarian options: Its a vegetarian-friendly restaurant

Ordered the samosay and dhokla. Was pleasantly surprised by both! Definitely worth a visit.

Their food is always great, but service at every location in this city can improve drastically. If the protocol is to serve the quick somoasas and pakoras warm, maybe they can figure out a way to not make the customers wait 20 mins while it heats up and rather use some heat warming dishes to store them in.

I recently tried the Shahi Paneer and Malai Kofta at Rajdhani (pickering). The dishes were rich and creamy, with generous portions, but I found them to be a bit on the sweeter side. While the flavors were pleasant, a bit more balance in spices would have enhanced the experience. The ambiance was nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a good place to satisfy a craving for North Indian food, especially if you enjoy a hint of sweetness in your dishes!

Rajdhani is One of the Best Vegetarian Food and sweets restaurant in Pickering, We have been going to this place since it opened. The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable, and the most important thing in any restaurant is their customer service. It s more than a 5 Star service. Mr. Peter and Mr. Vic the owners are always around to make sure each customer is treated with highest priority and satisfaction. Very seldom you see the owners coming out to make sure you are enjoying the meal and always ready for feedback. The servers Majinder, Harman, Manpreet, Manveer and Kalash are always there with a smile to take your meal orders, great team very courteous. Rajdhani since it opened has become our go to restaurant to celebrate our every occasion with our family and friends. I recently visited Rajdhani and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding every dish had authentic flavors. We started with the papdi chat , which were crispy and full of spice. For the main course, I highly recommend the thali set and aloo parathas which was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The paratha was fresh and soft also Jasnoor was very sweet to accept my request for extra stuffing in paratha. We were attended by jasnoor and she was so sweet and helped us with suggesting dishes and she took care of special request . Highly recon and this restaurant for a good friend and family time .

Their chaat papri and their dahi ballai are sweet with barely any of the fillings that make chaat papri and dahi ballai what they are. Its just a scam and you essentially buy a $12 bowl of sweet yogurt. I would steer clear of these menu items.

I bought 2 chaat papri this evening. Barely anything in the containers. Literally 1/2 spoon of sauce and swirled it around and not much spices or chat masala. There was no Napkin or cutlery included in the take out. Not worth the money. I believe person making my order was Noor. Before they used to garnish with cilantro and pomegranate.

This was the most disappointing food Ive ever had. While the sweets were excellent, the chaat was subpar. The samosas appeared to have been fried in old, stale oil, resulting in a very unpleasant taste. Its a waste of money if youre considering purchasing chaat. Additionally, they dont even provide extra salt if needed, which is frustrating since not everyone has the same salt preference. They need to understand that customer satisfaction is crucial in the food business.

Cheap people, you pay $9.00 for chaat papri and they don t even fill it up to the top, they cheap out on all the toppings. Rude service, staff has a huge attitude problem. Stay away from this establishment your better off making it at home yourself

The customer service is soo poor. We had a very rude service with the lady at the sweets corner. She was just shouting and unwillingly taking the sweets as per our choice. She was soo rude as if we are taking the stuffs for free from her home!!!!!

Im a fan of Rajdhani restaurant in Pickering with great food, snacks and sweets. However, today wanted to try out the recently launched South Indian dishes like Masala Dosa, Vada etc. Was shocked at the state of Masala Dosa & Vada. Never had such poor quality of Dosa, Vada and chutney. Hope they improve the quality of the South Indian dishes considering it is a great chain.

Waited at the seat for 10 minutes no one came to serve or even hand out the menu. 5 servers standing at counter all using phone and talking to each other.

Horrible experience dine in. We ordered one Thali, naan and paneer and were waiting for 25 minutes. When we enquired the reason for delay the server behaved so rudely and spoke unnecessary comments. The main work ethics in hospitality business is good behavior towards the customer and providing a good experience. This place clearly lacks it and needs lot of employee training.

I just visited at once there but my first experience was ridiculous. Employees were too rude with customers. And they making excuses because of hectic day. That s doesn t mean you guys become too rude coz of your exhausting day.

Real Indian Authentic and clean place

I came here for dinner on july1st 2024, ordered veg thali , i asked for dal tadka , aloo sabji and matar paneer for curries . All 3 sabji were really disappointing, the dal tadka literally seemed dal makhni and when i asked the staff about it then he told this is dal tadka only. The dal tadka had urad dal and rajma in it which seems unusual . The matar paneer was watery and tasteless same as aloo sabji. After being hungry i expected atleast good taste from here but the experience was really dissatisfying.

I have been here couple of times and this place never dissapoints. I love samosa chana, chat papdi and Tea is a must every time I am here. Thank you Karina for kind service.

Dosas were extremely hard annd difficult to chew and one of the dosa came burnt which even after mentioning the staff didn t try to rectify it. Panipuris were also not upto the mark. I have been sitting at the restaurant from last 20 mins, I see servers standing behind the counter gossiping, one of the server took the order of a customer who came after us and was sitting beside our table and completely ignored us. Menu was given to me like it s not a service. No water was served. I did went to the counter myself to talk to the manager, but i see no improvement after the issue discussed verbally. I have been a regular customer, the delay in service was always seen, but now this is ridiculous.

I was really looking forward to trying the Medu Vada at this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The vada was absolutely drenched in oil.The exterior was greasy and soggy, rather than crispy and golden. The oil overpowered the flavor of the lentils and spices, leaving me feeling disappointed. Needless to say, I wont be ordering the Medu Vada from this place again. If youre looking for a delicious and satisfying South Indian snack, Id recommend looking elsewhere.

We came every time for their amazing food but their customer service is horrible now a days. They cannot manage customer when they are 70% occupied. They should increase their manpower to serve better. If they continue like this they will loose customer. We re waiting for 15mins and called several times for the menu but no one came. And when we inform the cashier they didn t bother to listen our issue. I had infant with me and was too hungry. I requested them to give food early but they denied and said I have to wait 20-25 mins for a single roti. Too bad management. I got better service from Markhan location.

Nice selection of food. Taste and quality is good. Sometimes food gets cold by the time it reaches your table but service is not slow as many other places. Also the staff is mostly cheerful. I said mostly because there were times when we were served by the ones who appeared inexperienced and were not smiling or providing you info about any dish with confidence. In our latest visit, nothing much changed. Some still not smiling and we had to ask for cutlery and tissues as not given to us with food.

We ordered thali, gobi paratha (with extra green chilies), and chana bhatura - all amazing. All the subzis in our thali tasted so good and the other food transported us straight to Delhi. The girls were so nice and quick with their service and I believe this location is the best Rajdhani s. Vegetarian options: Rajdhani s was our default for vegetarian Indian food because you can always find good, tasty food and variety of dishes.
