The service was good the lady did give me a good deal , I got noodles,and shrimp with broccoli.but every thing had no salt no flavour.it was first time I had taste good really.not satisfied at all
Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This is actually my favorite location as I find the food is always fresh and the service is always fast and efficient. They have never skimped out on portions for me.
Just ordered food and asked her if she can put more chicken. She said she’d charge me extra. Keep in mind the plate is 75% mashed potatoes and 25% meat. Why am I paying $11+ for potatoes? Not going here again they are always so stingy. Manchu walk it is
At the end of the night, the food wasn’t fresh, stale is the word maybe. I’m not sure but it wasn’t very edible…. The rice was hard, so was the peas. No flavour, I mean zero. Really disappointed. Every location is different and inconsistent. The shrimp was awful, waste of money. Most expensive meal I paid for in the food court and it was the worst. Unpleased.
note- mind my half eaten meal it was that good I had to make a review half way through 😄. First off, nothing less than AMAZING customer service from the two ladies that serviced us today - smiles, conversation and timely service.The food was great, very flavourful. The workers definitely took pride in their jobs during my visit today and I’m definitely impressed with the variety of delicious options for great prices - big food portions ! Today the workers truly made it the best experience with their attitudes and positive work ethic; so much so my boyfriend wasn’t going to buy anything and did so because he wanted to support them as well and was so glad he did. He loved the bourbon chicken. I truly hope the ladies working this location get recognized for their great work. I’ve ate out many times, high end and low end and they truly made me look forward to my next return. Absolutely excellent customer service.
One of the best places to eat in all of Durham region! Staff is always friendly and polite, the food is well presented and fresh - but what happened to the tip feature when tapping to pay? I regularly tipped at this location but the new machine does not ask. A+++ Price to portion ratio is good - a grown adult and a child eat like kings for under $20
We revisited Bourbon St. Grill for dinner, a place we've frequented many times in the past. Consistently, we've found the food to be delectable and satisfying. While the menu offers a diverse array of options, I invariably opt for my favorite: the Bourbon fried rice, accompanied by broccoli and Bourbon chicken. During this visit, we ordered two combo meals, and the staff efficiently prepared our order. In the end, we left content with our dining choice, appreciating the invaluable convenience this restaurant consistently provides.
Seriously disappointing. I had bought food from the Eaton centre location, and it was so good, just the plain broccoli and bourbon chicken that I came to this location to purchase the same meal. The broccoli was mostly cabbage. Additionally, I didn’t even ask for rice or noodles, since I didn’t want it, but also thought they’d load up on the broccoli and meat. The portion size laughable. Compared to the location at the Eatons centre, this was absolutely disappointing. Not impressed. Coming from the Eaton centre where they completely load up your container and where the broccoli was only that and no fillers I was very let down.
funny how these guys just increased their price right before the no food tax kicked in. I can only assume they were not handing over the tax they collected on cash purchases so now that there is no tax they have a shortfall.
Terrible crew. There are no other people on the line except us and the crew Mary Anne is asking for orders in a rude way. I asked if they are rushing us and she started ranting. No customer service training? Good food, bad crew member. Management need to train these type of crew properly before they allow them to serve customers
The food is good. I recommend the bourbon chicken, jambalaya rice, and green beans. Their noodles are not good and the Louisiana chicken tastes off. The customer service needs work though, kinda rude.
The lady who serves the food earlier today has no listening skills and rude and shaking her head because she has to put some of the food back. First af all she just assumed what I wanted as a customer instead of giving an option to the customer what the customer really wants. I pointed the jambalaya rice to her in the first place and said the bourbon chicken & beans thinking that she would include the rice then shaking her head. She was not the one listening to the customer s order. I will never ever buy food again from this picketing location. What an upsetting experience.
The CHILI CHICKEN is beyond HORRIBLE! Please do not get it. It smells like FISH and taste like CURRY so weird oml. Everything else was AMAZING. bourbon chicken was great. PLEASE DONT GET CHILI CHICKEN, DO ME A FAVOR AND TELL THEM TO CANCEL IT.

Had bourbon chicken, some was ice cold and some warm. Noodles were half dried out like they sat out all night and then some newer made was added to the pot. I threw the whole thing away. When presenting my concerns to the person working there, she said it was the warmers and because its fast food. Fast food or not, food should be served at safe temperatures.... yuck!
They give you meat rice and broccoli, great combo.
I ordered a combo 3 the most expensive combo on the menu i got half a spoon of each meat i wanted and the food is also go to the scarbourough town center and fairview location and notice the big difference in quality and portions
Quality has gone down recently, they have changed the rice and the corn, the portions are also smaller. Too bad.....
The chicken options were all great. The staff was generous enough to let me taste all the chicken options on the menu. I ordered Chilly Chicken and BBQ Chicken, both were outstanding with good amount of portion. Next on my list is Blackened Chicken, so looking forward to it. Full marks.
Their price point is not worth it. They give very small amount of food.. and there is like no taste at all, it s all oily and greasy.. i got food poisoning after.. everything is so bad about them. NEVER AGAIN and I don t recommend
Used to be my go to Spot, portions are ridiculously small and they fight you if you want a normal portion size. Food taste good but quality has gone down. There was one tall young lady who would stuff your plate and now shes gone and the two old ladies work the front and they will give you half your moneys worth in portion size. The reviews are NOT lying. If you are feeling for a snack then buy this but if youre actually hungry go to machuwok, less quality but you wont be able to finish it all in one sitting.
Lots of food.
The food is delicious but the lady serving is very rude. She shouldnt yell at customers, much less get angry or throw things, if she doesnt know how much to give, thats her problem, she even wanted to not buy them food because of the despotic treatment. The cashier was very kind.

Food is good but staff need to smile. Prices are okay but they need to give better portions of food to accommodate the container size. I do not trust the veggies and salad though, it was a while back I remember a lady in front me ordered her meal with veggies/salad and within 2 minutes of cashing out she returned (while I was cashing out) and was screaming because there was a slug or snail on her veggies. I have been completely turned off and extremely cautious ever since. I asked to see and it looked like a piece of mushroom. The employee told her theyll make her another one. It took me a while to go back, but since Ive been back I havent seen or heard or anything as outrageous as that. So 3 stars it is!
Worst tasting franchise, please cook the potatoes, come on, your food is nasty.
Used to be one of my favorite spots. Went back after not having it for a while and it was terrible. Aside from half my chicken being ice cold and mushy, the food was bland and had no flavor. The portion size was not what it used to be - you get a lot less for your $ now. What a shame! It USED to be so good!
Great selection and location
I bought 2 meal combo and pay $12. Inside the box I got oily noodles, oily rice, oily salad and below average taste chilli chicken. In this whole meal all items were too much oily and taste was also not good. So, I dont recommend anyone to spend on this store rather than you can find much better food outlets which will give much tastier food than this one.

I ordered a bunch of party Platters for an engagement party, the food was very good.I just wish they would change their containers, they leak and I cut my finger taking the lid off.

I love all their different choices of chicken (and fish). There is so much to choose from and all of their flavours are delicious. The prices are good. The staff are great as well.
Absolutely disgusting, many years ago it was nice. Now its horrible. The food is not fresh or they mix the old food from morning into the afternoon meal, the meat is hard and not fresh. Stay away from this place its not worth it to get sick... Manchu wok is better.

Portions are very small considering the money being spent on a full meal. Seems they don t want to serve the food and would much prefer for it to sit there and go stale.
Decided on Bourbon for a quick lunch with my son. I got the 2 meat combo. For one of my meats I chose their shrimp. I bite into my first piece of shrimp and literally was as hard as a rock. Half of the serving was this way! It must have been sitting there from earlier in the morning like all of their other food. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs and save yourself from disappointment!
You cant get half and half for a side item, totalling to the same quantity and price of 1 item. Too expensive for the options and food quality.
Good variety of dishes and friendly service. Reasonable pricing. Really enjoyed my lunch.
