I previously had a good review, and have been here many times over the past few months but after last night I dont think Ill be returning... Wednesday they have a rib special and unfortunately my food was cold so I ended up just getting a takeout box so I could reheat it at home, the restaurant was ridiculously loud I will blame this on the leafs game but the men on the bar get very excited and scream at the TVs... alongside all this I watched the manager snap his fingers at the bartender to get her attention, and when she explained to him that it was rude he told her not to tell him what to do... I had been watching this poor girl run around like crazy, she still was able to check on us frequently, and yet the management are rude to her? I wasntt able to catch her name but places like this dont deserve staff like that.

Chucks has always been my go to place to catch up with friends and have a few drinks, I wanted something differently then my go to nachos and beer so Shelby our server for the evening suggested trying the cool blue beverage and the bruschetta flat bread. Both of them absolutely delicious. Will definitely be asking Shelby for more suggestions in the future if I see her around.

I would give this place a 6 out of 10. Service was rushed as I think the waitress wanted to get out of there and thats fine but that should never show that much. Food was meh.

My hubby and I visited chucks in Pickering on our way home from a day trip Our server was Shelby (I think that s her name) she had red hair!! She was so so sweet! She was efficient and quick as well as friendly and personable! I would come back to this location because of her! I ve had lots of not so great experiences in restaurants lately so this was nice! She s an excellent server and deserves a raise!

I dined in early this afternoon on the bar side, it was unexpectedly busy for a weekday but Shelby did a wonderful job at making sure our drinks never ran low and our orders were taken in a very timely manner! As a server myself I was very impressed with her organization and attention to detail. We had the bruschetta flatbread & nachos which were amazing and a few ice cold bevy s. Will be back for sure!

Staff was really good and my steak was cooked perfectly. I had The surf and turf; both cooked really well to my liking. The Caesars were good as well as the dessert. (Klondike and Buckaroo) Parking: If you dont go at super peak hours, it is easy to find parking. When its really busy you can still find parking but you just have to park a little further away from the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: They have coloring pages and I think there is a kids menu; not sure.

I go there because of the friendly staff. My favourite server is Anqa, Food is very tasty and priced reasonably.

We extremely disappointed with our experience at this location. We called ahead to confirm the last order time, and we were assured that I could place an order up until last call. However, when we arrived at the restaurant before last call time host told us that you called some other location but I sawed the contact detail with call history then after she agreed and she said we are already closed before half an hour. This is not only inconvenient but also highly unprofessional. We came by almost 45 minutes drive.

Finally a restaurant that has a menu that is not grossly overpriced. I had a steak that was cooked as ordered and I didnt feel like I was fleeced. My wife had her ceasar salad with chicken. We were happy with our choices. The only drawback was how loud it was in the restaurant. Even the waitress had trouble hearing us to place our order. Regardless we will go back. Next time the half chicken dinner which is again responsibility priced.

Excellent place, after 9pm there is a half price promotion on tickets. The beers are cheap, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Chucks in Kingston, Ontario. Our server, Dawn, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, delivering top-tier service with a friendly attitude. The highlight of the night was the filet it was cooked to perfection and easily one of the best I ve had. This place will be a must-stop next time we visit Kingston. Highly recommend!

The food was alright. I asked for a sirloin steak, cooked medium and I got, at best medium-well to well done. I also got the sauteed mushrooms, but they arrived cold. Everything traded fine though and the service was friendly.

I arrived at Chucks and was disapointed because they could not find us a seat near the bar. However the hostess sat me at the table that I wanted. Then within 45 seconds I was greeted by MacKenzie. She was attentive, engaged, and professional. Got the order right and if not for her customer service - we would not have stayed longer buying drinks. This place if good if you not very specefic about your food habits and that you can eat anything. If you are particular then you might have to check the menu real good to get what you want to eat. The drinks were good Food

The food was very good, offering great flavors and quality at an economical price point. The service was exceptional as well friendly, attentive, and quick to ensure everything was perfect. It s a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank. I ll definitely be returning.

* Pickering Location * Twice Ive gone there and they seated me then served people who came after me. Their staff is very mechanical like its an assembly line, absolutely no people skills. I asked for a medium well done steak and the waitress tried to convince me a over well done was medium rare. From here on in Ill drive passed it to the Ajax location.

We came here after waiting over 30 minutes with no service at lone star. I have to say this is the BEST chucks I ve ever been to. The service was so fast and our service was incredible. I unfortunately forgot the servers name but she had the COOLEST green & black hair. If it helps, it was Friday night around 6:30/7 and we were seated outside. She was incredible and the food was delicious and so cheap.

Food runner touched my steak. Heres the story: Just got back from a late dinner. Was very hungry and ordered a New York Strip steak medium rare. It arrived rare so I told the nearest worker, as our server was not around. Worker told me to put the steak on one of the separate sharing plates so he could bring it back to the kitchen. Runner (who was quite frantic the whole duration I saw him), came back with my steak. I move my fork and knife out of the way thinking he would place it down on the table. He starts trying to slide the steak back onto my plate from the sharing plate. The steak is stuck so HE PUSHES IT DOWN WITH HIS THUMB, and quickly walks away. It all happened so fast. I cut off the part he touched and just ate the rest. I was so mad but didnt want to make a scene in a packed setting on Friday night. Runner was male average height, bearded, dark red and blue button-up shirt. he was frantic, hardly think he washed his hands a lot. This happened Oct 4th 2024. This whole interaction made me realize the subpar service throughout, not just this incident. Everyone, except our initial server was kind of awkward; no smiles and dead in the eyes. A different server delivered a Diet Coke refill and didnt announce it or say a word, just placed it on the table and walked away. Our server was a nice skinny elf-looking guy, didnt announce his name to us.

I went in with my family today for dinner and Jeni was amazing with her service. She was attentive, checked up with us if the food was good, made sure the proper food got to our table and kept a smile on her face during a very busy friday night. The servers even let us know beforehand after seating us that taking orders might take a while since they are serving multiple tables which we very much appreciated. The food was out on time and Jeni was good to us. Highly recommended.

I recently went here with my fiancé for a nice thanksgiving dinner! And we were greeted with such incredible service! Not only was our Server RJ wonderful and helped us with everything (even thou my fiancé was sooo picky), but he also just made our experience more enjoyable! Not to mention the manager Shelby came by afterwards to make sure everything was perfect and just as it was! The staff at this establishment made our experience memorable This type of service makes the meal more satisfying! Thankyou again RJ and Shelby. We ll definitely come back again!

Avoid this location, even the half priced apps aren t worth all the problems. The server didn t even know what wiskey is.. they will chase you outside even though your kids and purse are still at the table, super uncomfortable and confused

Please update your store hours online because we drove all the way from the west to come to your location. The Indian lady server was rude, didn t apologize and told us that we can dine but we need to finish up in 10 mins.

I had evening out last Friday August 23. at Chucks in Pickering. I ordered 36 wings which were served raw. I been sick for last 5 days and on medicine which was prescribed by my Dr. I sent an email to the restaurant after several calls. and no one has replied back to me. If anyone orders their wings, make sure you open the wings before you eat them.

Excellent food and service.

For some reason, my expectations were very low. I guess I figured inexpensive steaks are probably really thin and not very well prepared, but I couldn t be more wrong! The steak was thick and juicy and beautifully prepared. I had the top sirloin with lobster tail. I asked for the sirloin to be cooked rare and it was cooked perfectly. Honestly, the steak was much better than I ve had at most other higher priced steakhouses. The lobster tail was a generous size served with melted butter. It was delicious. The little bowl of corn was a nice touch and I love the sweet potato fries. Only thing is I would recommend that sweet potato fries be served with a smoked aioli but hey, everything was outstanding value for the money. For dessert, I enjoyed the moist and flavourful carrot cake and my boyfriend the plum pudding, which was the best I ever tasted. It wasn t overly sweet like most plum puddings. It was light and delicious. Jeni was a friendly, welcoming and thoughtful server. I highly recommend Chuck s Roadhouse! Thank you. Parking: Strip mall parking lot.

IF YOU LIKE YOUR FOOD HOT I WOULD NOT GO HERE, ALL THEY DO IS SERVE COLD FOOD !!! We ordered steak bites and they came out fast, hot and the waiter took our order quickly. The stay quickly went down hill when it took very long to get our food, we ordered 2 steak dinners, 2 lobsters, a burger and the wing, onion ring appetizer. Tell me why the steaks come out first with one lobster then the burger comes out, followed by the other lobster and a couple minutes later the wing/onion rings show up. Both steaks are cold, the fries with the burger are cold and the whole plate of wing/onion rings are cold. RIDICULOUS, like please tell me what took so long if all the food was cold by the time we got it !!!! We got new fries pretty quickly but then waited another 10 minutes or so for another plate of wings and onion rings, which the waiter came over and told us it will be out in 2 minutes don t give a number if it s not accurate, that was the longest two minutes of my life. By the time we got a new plate everyone has already finished their meal so we had no option but to get a takeout container and bring it home. We asked for a manager because this was ridiculous, we told him how we felt and he went back to investigate the incident, he came back to tell us that the wings/onion rings were done FIRST and then they made the steaks and then the burger, tell me how that makes sense !!! It was just a bunch of BS in my opinion, either way we were fed up and ready to leave so we asked for the bill. Tell me why all the manager could offer us was 50% off the wing/onion ring plate (which was like $10 the bill in total) WHAT A JOKE ! WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE WORST CHUCKS IVE EVER BEEN TO !!!

Was there this evening, no greeter or sign to seat yourself. Waiter horrible, very inexperienced. The appetizer we ordered was barely warm. Waited awhile for the main. The steak was very over cooked n dry the bake potato was cold. The butter on top of the potato wouldn t melt due to how cold the potato was. Could definitely tell the food had sat too long. When I was half done they bring ketchup n bbq sauce just leave it on the table. BBQ sauce bottle needed to be wiped. Sauce caked in the lid n around the top of the bottle. Unacceptable. Hardly saw the waiter. Would have liked extra napkins. I was so disappointed n upset. The dinner was a special occasion. I m visiting from Niagara Region. The Chuck s in Niagara Region are always awesome. Wish I could get my money back. What a horrible experience n definitely a waste of money. No good memories made dinning there. Will be calling or messaging their head office. Btw make sure in future u clean the lids and rims of your sauce bottles. They should be cleaned. .

I have been dealing with the restaurant since 2015 and dined in and take out. My grandson always requested to see Kim as she would give him a bowl of ice cream it has been our go to place for steak burgers etc!!! Today we ordered steak medium well and sweet potato fries (extra money) and burger loaded potato(extra) only to get a handful of fries steak well done and burnt loaded potato!!! I called back and asked to speak to owner or manager he said I m the owner then said he was manager when I said we knew Kim the gentleman whom I couldn t understand name starts with N as he was laughing thinking it was a joke!! Answered the phone YA then was ignorant to myself and husband thinking it was hilarious!!! I will be taking the photos into the store and hopefully this person understands CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT YA!!!! When you call and ask about food you paid 40.00 for and he thinks the whole CONVERSATION ISNT IMPORTANT Hopefully Kim Is Still The Owner And She Will Know Us When We Come Into Location !! This restaurant seems like a ship without a captain. You get the sense that there is a lack of hands-on management and staff that are not trained properly or supervised. We sat at the bar on a Saturday evening in July 2024. A good number of TVs are available to watch sports. Unfortunately, the draft beer offerings are minimal. Most annoying was that we were short-changed on all four pints of beer poured (2 adults, 2 pints each). Staff that cannot pour a proper pint do not belong behind a bar, or, are they being told to only 3/4 fill glasses? I watched other pints and pitchers being poured, same thing. Such a rip-off. I would normally complain but I got the feeling that my issue would not be understood or addressed. And where are the coasters?! The fruit flies are everywhere. The bar area is very dark. I appreciate an atmosphere but there is no lighting at all. I do not how the staff operate in such poor lighting. Maybe that is why they cannot pour a full pint, they cannot see! Or maybe they hope you do not see the fruit flies landing in your drink. Also, this establishment has very high ceilings and the acoustics are terrible. There is a constant loud din throughout because there is no sound absorption or buffers. From the bar we witnessed a young woman vaping while seated at a table on the patio--many staff were serving tables on the patio and not one advised her to stop. My husband commented: this looks like the type of place kids come because they can drink underage. I agree. We will not return.

On July 6 I invited 8 members of my Family for a dinner at Chucks Roadhouse. We were treated with respect and our Server was a very nice person. However, out of 9 people only 4 were satisfied with their meals. The chicken and ribs were of very low Quality. The Cook really fell down on this one. Several people tossed her chicken dinner because they were very dry and hard. Another thing that really bothered me was my check with another tax that I cant even blame on Trudeau. Imagine a Honest to Goodness tax and the HST on top of it. $ 314 wasted. Never again Chuckie.

I have never written a review for a restaurant before, but I feel my experience today needed to be shared. We have been to this location many times as the kids really enjoy going. This was the first time we went after 9pm for the promotion on the 1/2 price apps, which is dine in only. First, my husband asked for a double shot of grey goose and the waitress told him they ran out and only have smirnoff and kettle one. So my husband told her he has never had kettle one, so hell take the smirnoff. Next, we ordered some apps, including 20pcs chicken wings. The portion of the loaded fries looked like it was have eaten as it was considerably small quantity. The chicken wings that was served was boneless. When I questioned it, one of the workers pointed out the table in menu that I missed to see. So I told her that it was bit confusing and I didnt realize I ordered boneless as I just wanted the regular wings. When our waiter came by I asked her for take out containers for the left over chicken wings, which was more like chicken bites. The waiter said ok and walked away and then the manager walked up to the table. He made no introduction of who he was and just leaned over and started talking. He told me that they cant give me take out containers for the left over chicken wings that we had. He said we had half the plate left over and that it was about 1lb of wings. He said that the 1/2 price apps is dine in only and that we need to only order food that we will finish eating. I told him he can see from our bill we were not trying to cheat his restaurant, we ordered other food and just had leftovers. After arguing with him that we did not intentionally order extra food and that we had leftovers because the kids didnt want the boneless chicken wings, he agreed to let me take my leftovers home, which I was paying for anyways even if I was not allowed to take it home. Finally the waitress brings the bill and she charged for 2 shots of grey goose. So my husband pointed out that he did not order grey goose and how could grey goose and smirnoff be the same price. The waitress said oh they are the same price but I can fix the bill and took it back. I followed her and explained that we ordered smirnoff and she said but I gave you kettle one shots. I said but that not what I ordered, so she asks me what do you want me to do. I said charge me for what i ordered, its not my fault you mixed up my request. So she corrected the bill and as I was paying i said to her how much is it. She tells me the total and then asks how much was it previously, so I said it was about 3 dollars more. And she made a slight smirk at me. I have never experienced such bad service or attitude from any restaurant that I have been to! The manager was rude, no professionnelism. We were there for about 2 hours with the kids and every time I needed her i had to get someone else to call her over as she didnt even come and check on us. I will not be going back. This dinner was supposed to be a treat for our kids but we v were just so annoyed walking out.

Last few times Ive been here with a friend of mine, they have brought our appetizers about a minute before our main coarse. Whats the point of ordering one if they dont give you time to enjoy it before your meal? Whats the rush? Before someone replies, I dont have a copy of the recipt, as my friend paid for dinner, I suggest doing a better job as there seems to be many disappointed customers as of late.

The food is always good and properly priced well displayed the staff is always friendly and helpful. The place is always clean. It has a nice look or atmosphere. I do find it a little on the noisy side. It s hard to have a conversation. I think that s it intention but other than that, it s very good, I highly recommend it Dietary restrictions: We had a nice cheese dip, platter there was supposed to come with pita bread, we asked them to substitute the pita bread for corn chips and it was excellent but we did that for my wife who is gluten intolerant and they were easy to deal with. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Great place to enjoy a drink or a great dinner. Casual and friendly environment, I truly love their service and personnel, theyre extremely friendly, capable and caring. I had steaks, burgers, sandwiches, and theyre all amazing food, cooked as you ask. Parking might be tight at times, but I ever had any issues whatsoever. A place to visit, I definitely recommend it.

Great food for the price.

We visited this location after a long time. We asked to be seated at a booth instead of a open table, rather it was mentioned those are reserved for large groups, but soon after we were seated, that table was assigned to a couple right after us. Seriously!!! Secondly, we waited for 20 minutes before we headed out as no one was ready to take the order even though the servers were passing beside us. We would understand if it was full night, but the place was half empty. We asked a couple of people if someone was going to take our order, but there was no reply. Wouldnt be returning anytime soon. Disappointed.

Updating my review, I have been coming here for the last few years and its still, Another great Chucks restaurant, You cant beat the value they offer you. So for lunch I had a burger and a beer . Where can you beat that? Why spend $20 or $30 for lunch. Food was good service was great , Loads of T.V.s for sports watching. Enjoy their WI-FI. Loads of parking.

First time coming to this location and I probably will not be back. First off the service was really bad, took forever to get to our table and the food took quite awhile to come out. Once it did, the food was cold. My fries were cold and soggy, it did not taste good because of this. I got the chicken sandwich and it wasnt anything special.

They always give cold food and they serve certain people before others. The employees had a staring problem which made me feel very uncomfortable. They also overcooked my food and there were a few burn spots unfortunately

I visited Chucks Roadhouse for a late dinner after spending the day downtown, and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, thanks to Brandon. Our food arrived quickly, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience! Service was good, food was very disappointing. Wings were very dry, asked for sauce to improve, charged an extra dollar. Tacos were disappointing and saucy. Asked for a manager but none were in on a Friday night. I normally only give positive reviews but disappointed we couldn t speak to someone to improve the food. Honest to goodness fee?? 3% extra and then it s charged tax on the fee? Won t be visiting any chucks again.

Chucks is great for value and the quality is still there. The service from our amazing server Brandon, who we have had serve us now like 5 times never misses a beat and is always on top of things. Very saddened to write my first review here regarding chuck s Pickering. We are regulars and go to this particular location all the time. In the recent past we noticed whenever we order pitcher of beer it comes with big head, today we ordered 3 pitchers of Stella, each time it came with a big head but when we saw the 3rd pitcher we were all wondering is this why chuck s price has been this low? Basically they barely fill the pitcher with three fourth. No wonder this is how they make money .more over we wonder how a franchise like chuck s is not routinely checked by the head office Obsidian Group Inc. Anyhow we told our waitress that you know it s not fair for us as a customer to get three quarters of beer, she said SORRY. After we paid the bill for the food and drinks, we went up to the manager and told him about our experience. Manager Ravi told us, SO WHAT. He wouldn t even listen to us what has happened for us I ll tell all my friends and family about this place. When and if you go there next time check your head of the pitcher you order ..because for every one out there is trying to cheat you. We are totally disappointed with the chucks head office, after all the Head is the problem. See our pitcher head picture.

Best restaurant to eat at bar none

I never review good or bad , but felt i had to give my two cents. We paid our bill without hesitation but steaks were terrible, tough, and under cooked. We didnt complain but did tell manager about how tough steaks were ,burgers decent. You spend good money expecting good food. Kicker is some honest to goodness fee ,left good tip cause we are honest to goodness people, save your money go to a real steak house.

Very good value for the ribeye and full meal. The service was quick and friendly. However, I had fruit flies around me the entire time which took away from the overall experience. Food

Casual atmosphere, reasonably priced meals. Not top notch food that youd get from a more expensive establishment but not cheap food either. They use cheddar cheese on their burgers as opposed to the plastic cheese (processed cheese). Servers are good.

This place has a different policies from other chucks in terms of availing an offer. I didn t really enjoyed the service. Food was awesome like always.

2 children were injured on the glass surround patio. That is not child friendly. Hazzard for small children! Adults can see and know that its glass and not a walk through. Small children collide into the glass can get a concussion. Management and staff didnt care. Manager said he would put yellow tape on the glass the next day. 4 days later nothing done. A law suit will address this ongoing hazard Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly patio. A 4 year old and a 2 year old child ran into the glass with their face and fell back on their heads thinking they could be with family on the other side. A child lower than the height of the clear glass not expecting a barrier is in the way.

Food and service has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY since last year. The same dishes I used to love are now such poor quality I ve also noticed how the amount of salad I get is almost half of what used to be put in the bowl I m genuinely in shock that they re chincing on greens!! I did a take-out order this time because I m so over their service and I desperately wanted to love the food. The food was horrible, I m so sad about it. Spending $30 on something that you used to love but now the same dishes you can barely eat is so depressing. After 4 consecutively disappointing times, this is my last time I ll be getting anything from Chuck s Roadhouse. What a shame.

WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!!!!!!We have been such loyal customers for a couple years now, and after a recent dining experience, we noticed that there were new owners, and this establishment went from a five star restaurant to not even wanting to give one star review. Food was undercooked, and servers gave no customer appreciation when I asked for corrections to be made!! Not to mention, we had five different servers. Look after us because our original server didn t want to deal with basic customer service. This restaurant is no longer a favourite and I will not be returning. Which is such a shame.

Not even lying when I say this, this was the worst experience I ve ever had at a restaurant. We came as a group of 14 (which we called ahead and asked them if they could accommodate and they said yes). We arrived around 9:20, waitress came and took down 5 people s order and left, we had to flag down another waitress to take down the rest of the orders which she proceeded to only take down some. A 3rd server had to be called over to take down the remaining orders just under an hour and a half later drinks and water came out (ridiculous). The groups food came out around 11-11:30 but mine didn t, at which point I had to waive down the gentlemen who looked like he was overseeing everything and let him know that my food had still not come out. At this point frustrated I asked him to just pack the food for me. He was kind enough to add in an order of fries for me (a very small price to pay for having your customer wait two hours for their food). After very nicely letting the gentlemen know about the service we were told we would be blessed with a discount. He also gave me a sob story of how he was short staffed (again we called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us). We went to the bar 15 minutes after asking for the bills to go pay. There was no discount on our bills, we were overcharged for items which we asked the waitress if we could get corrected to which her reply was that they couldn t give us refunds. Instead they gave us 4 pints of domestic beer . I understand working in a fast paced environment such as a restaurant is difficult, so I still tipped 25% despite everything. 12:30am I am sitting in my kitchen only now eating my food. The whole situation was comical. Would not recommend.

Food was great. Service was 5 stars. Atmosphere was lively. What I have an issue with is the honest to goodness fee added to my bill. Yes, I get that your food prices are lower than most establishments. That s what sets you apart. In reviewing my bill after, I could have easily spent the same amount at another restaurant. Seems like the restaurant is sneaking in these fees to make up for the low prices. At least, disclose it to your customers prior to giving the bill. My mistake for not reviewing it on the spot .

Nice little steakhouse great prices with good service highly recommended

The service at this location is going downhill fast. We went in last week around 7pm. It wasn t packed. We were seated right away. We watched servers talking to each other. Two of them sat at the table on the corner by the kitchen door talking away. We waited 20 minutes and no one came to serve us. It was ridiculous. They didn t have the hockey game on .it s supposed to be a sports bar and there was a hockey game on that night but not on their T.V.s. We walked out and went across the street. The staff have all changed and it s clear they no longer have culturally diverse hiring practices.

Super convenient location, quick access from Hwy 401. Good food, service, and usual great value. Half price apps after 9 are a plus! Parking: Part of reasonably busy strip mall

The Stars say it all

Firstly the hostess was horrible, she didn t even greet us properly as a hostess should. She just said 3 people and took her time walking us to a table after waiting around for 10 minutes and there were literally only people at the bar and 6-7 tables. When she was speaking to us it sounded so unprofessional and I couldn t even hear her properly I kept having to ask her to repeat herself. I usually don t like being the person to complain but this had to be said so hopefully the restaurant can get some real feedback and improve service and train their staff better. The restaurant was so hot as-well, and wasn t even busy at all but there were so many tables that had dirty dishes and weren t bussed, it looked very disgusting to sit around and made me loose my appetite a little.

Our unplanned drive by.Honestly speaking it is one of the best eat out dinner my husband and I had in a long time is at Chuck Roadhouse at 780 Kingston Road in Pickering the food was well season and the price is right . Our server Brandon is very polite and he make sure everything was going smoothly at our table. We will be definitely going back with our kids

I really want to give this place 5 stars. Its their gimmicky stretch of the truth which left me disappointed. E.g. The 3% hidden fee in fine print instead of just raising prices by 3%...seems like it only exists to make the menu deceptive. Went for half price appetizers and would definitely go back again. They were good and good value, but again, what my server called 2lbs of wings fell well short. (The menu did not make a claim to the weight). The portions were slightly smaller than youd expect but still very well worth the prices. I will undoubtedly be back if I am ever in the area, but I need a more honest menu if they want a 5th star.

My first dinner in Canada after driving from KC. That was an awesome New York strip! And the price? Wow! Beers are also very reasonable and exactly what I needed after 2 days on the road. I had a Cesar salad and corn, so I didnt get to try the fries. Price range I selected includes the tip.

Had to wait for 90 mins just to hear that the ordered food is not available. Never coming here again

We have been dining for about 10 years at this establishment before it was rebranded into a Chucks from a Crabby Joes. Always good value delivered by a solid team. Over the last year however there has been another change of ownership and a significant lowering of quality. Unlike the Crabby Joes to Chuck change, where only the name changed and the people we had come to know were retained, this time the previous experienced servers and kitchen staff appear to have gone. The new team is well meaning but seems to lack any real experience in all aspects of running a restaurant. After a number of less than adequate experiences we are finally done. The last dinner today included an over cooked medium steak, a much overdone burger, a plate of cold onion rings, and a very long delay in service. Rather than letting the previous staff go, they should have retained them. We will take our business to the Ajax Chucks farther down Kingston Road.

They had the air on so it was a little chilly inside the restaurant. And our food wasn t hot but was absolutely delicious .we got porterhouse steaks with fried mushrooms, baked potatoes and corn.

Krupal went above and beyond to accommodate us and our baby after rushing from vacation and needing her fed ASAP. He s a true professional, kind and caring, and really takes pride in his work. Thank you again Krupal, you saved our night and made our visit to Chucks fantastic! Very appreciated.

After a busy day of travel we pulled off on our way home to get some food, our daughter was very fussy as it was well past dinner time and her bedtime. We were so grateful that our server Krupal went ABOVE and BEYOND for us!! The restaurant was very busy, but he was still very tentative and kind, and even ensured he would get our food out to us as quickly as he could - and he definitely delivered on that! I would give him 6 stars, it s hard to find good servers like him these days! Food was also delicious as well

Great experience, and fast service even on the peak of a Friday night. My only concern was we found that the place was too loud to carry on a conversation in our booth.

Great affordable steak. Accidentally walked in on Maple Leafs game. Was super fun atmosphere. Make sure to take advantage of 4$ beers during the game time!

Its been a while since we have been to Chucks. It was my choice for my birthday dinner. The food was fantastic, the server Mark was excellent, and it was a great choice.

The service quality of this place has gone down since I ate here last year. After your order is placed the service staff will call out your order and will bring it to you when its ready. They dont know who ordered what and the same goes for the drinks. We had ordered 2 rounds of nachos and one came burnt and had less vegetables than the other one. They also dropped a steak knife on one of my guests when they were calling out who ordered what, luckily it didnt land the wrong way. When I received my main course the steak was supposed to be medium but came out as well done. I asked to get it replaced and when they brought it back, I assumed they put the lobster from the original one to the replacement as it was cold upon arrival. I could go on but they offered free ice cream for the trouble and it was already half melted when it arrived. It clearly wasnt a good experience for us. Beware of all the hidden costs, they dont tell you that its 2 dollars extra so sub fries for salad and theres an extra 3 percent added to the bill.

Tons of fun, would have given 5 stars, but the leafs lost game 7 again! Cheap beers, great staff, quick service, and really well organized especially for how busy they were.

We have driven by this place so many times we finally tried it. We were pleasantly surprised. The prices were very reasonable and affordable. The food was very good. Me and my husband ordered the New York steak, which was pretty good. My 9 year old son ordered the top sirloin his first adult steak. He is small but has a huge appetite. He enjoyed his steak very much he finished everything. My daughter ordered from the childrens menu (great price), she got the chicken fingers and upgraded her fries to a poutine. We all enjoyed the food and service. We normally dont dine in a restaurant because its expensive these days, but we will come back. We are so happy that there is a restaurant that still has reasonable prices especially for steaks!!! Definitely recommend. Kid-friendliness: Prices are very reasonable!

The food was great. But the wait staff are by far one of the worst I have experienced in my 40 years on this planet. Never around and when they come to the table they dont take anything away. Called in the morning to reserve a table for 10+ but they didnt write it down. And what the hell is the honest to goodness fee?

My boyfriend and I always come to this Location and have a good time. Today, we had by far the worst experience! Our server Sam barely came to our table to ask about our meals and to take dishes, we sat at the table for about 15min waiting to ask for the bill, after calling him over he then said I totally forgot about you guys. Also my corn had tinfoil in in and when I mentioned it I was brought a new corn and nothing else was done.

Mother s Day visit - 3 of us order steak- super dry and cold to touch. Strawberry pecan salad-overly dressed in vinaigrette. Paid xtra for sweet potato fries and comparing it to another order size we had to grab attention of waiter after waiting 45 minutes for our food, ended up force feeding out of hunger and left unimpressed. Mother s Day conversation ended being about how terrible the food was- told waitress experience and response I ll be sure to let kitchen staff know . Would not return

On Mother s Day, Jaldhi served my partner and I. It was a late dinner but she managed to take our orders and check up on us even though it was super busy. She was so polite and overall I was really happy with her service. Thanks Jaldhi!
