The food was pretty good. Very loud. Then again, there was a live band playing.

Great Pub atmosphere. The food is amazing. I had the Mediterranean burger with fries. So good and filling.

I went because it was a fund raiser. There was only one waitress and she was all over the place. However she was good.

Great live entertainment too.

We decided to try this pub on the way to my granddaughter s soccer game .the images of the food looked great. When we arrived we told the server that we were in a hurry. We ordered basic food a clubhouse and a poutine .nothing time consuming .we waited 30 minutes .the club I received looked nothing like the one in these reviews posted by diners only two weeks ago we had to send it back and leave without one of us eating .also, they have no air conditioning .31 degree day! Stay away from this place there are better options in the area!

The pub in this location was good at ine time. it has turned for the worst unfortunately. I have never had a garlic bread with cheese with processed cheese. it looked normal but after I took 1 bite I had to give it back. They also didnt take it off my bill!! unbelievable. Some guest was also controlling the tvs and the music from his seat! Will never go back. Sorry the owner messed that place up. its location could be so good. Very friendly staff. You can tell they go above and beyond. The Sweet Chilli Chicken was the best I ever had. Very large portions, great quality! Must check it out.

They changed the menu again. Edit: from a five star to a 1 star, from good to bad. We used to go for the wings and beer now I will never go back. Beer was bad, watered down and had a bad taste. When I brought it up to the waitress she remarked that she had noticed something wrong with the beer - I had also picked up the comment in passing to the washroom - and still served it to us. Wife had a chicken pub club and when I saw the chicken I thought it was bread. Cold food and bad beer here. Prices are the same as everywhere else.

The server was good, she had good communication. The food was mediocre, we waited over an hour for the food even though the pub was almost empty. My quesadilla was burned on the bottom. The server was really trying to keep everything together but the chef and manager sucked, the poor girl deserves more respect than they give her

I stopped here for a couple drinks while waiting for the train. The bartender (and other patrons) were very friendly! I would definitely come here again.

DO NOT COME HERE. This was the worst pub experience I have ever had. My boyfriend and I went for dinner snd a beer. The girl behind the bar kept staring at us and didn t come over to seat us until a different girl came around. It took 20 minutes to get 1 beer. When the food came after an hour of waiting, my boyfriend was served the complete wrong dish. I had requested the forty creek wrap with no tomato s. The wrap came with no sauce on it and loaded with tomatoes and was missing sauted onions and mushrooms which was supposed to be on it as per the menu. I sent it back and it came back WRONG again. Did not have any onions or mushrooms once again and only had a line of sauce on it. I had to physically get up and get salt, pepper and napkins for our table because our waitress wouldn t bring it to us. There was only one waitress for 20+ people in the pub and she decided to not write any orders down so they kept coming back wrong. Management is poor, food sucked and the service is horrendous. Took 2 hours for 2 meals and 2 beers to be served.

As longtime Pickering residents we finally got around to trying this pub for a St. Pattys Day lunch of wings and fries and of course an Irish ale. The wings were delicious and the fries so nice and crispy! The service was very friendly and prompt. Sound echoes a bit due to the dimensions of the big room and type of materials in the flooring and walls but lots of tvs for sports watching. Will definitely come back and try it on a normal day. Hopefully the experience will be just as enjoyable.

The waitress tried her best but completely forgot two out of 5 orders. It took forever for nachos which had zero cheese on them. The food was Garbage. Glasses still had lipstick on it and the beer smelt rancid. Never again.

Me and my boyfriend popped in here because we were starving and had already been driving around. The place was somewhat busy, with only one waitress behind the bar. I was a bit nervous as it was seat yourself and I was worried she didn t see us and wouldn t serve us. I was completely wrong. Hardly had to wait at all before she came by and she was exceptional the whole way through. I mentioned a few times to my bf that I wasn t sure how she was doing it all on her own! Food wasn t crazy amazing, but it was good. Exactly what you expect from a pub. Once we received our food she made sure to mention things she could do for me in case my food was too spicy (completely unprompted) and she also brought extra sauces for my bf because she felt it went well together and he might enjoy it! (Also unprompted)! I ve been to restaurants with tons of staff where I haven t been attended to as well as she did. I wish I got her name so I could shout her out by name. But I would totally go back knowing the place was such a vibe with excellent service.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, however it is some of the worst food I have ever had. Highly suggest if you are going for food go somewhere else.

East End Pub has become my familys go to pub. They have $0.70 wings when the TMLs play and they are the best wings!!

Service was horrible, food was good but had to go chasing for a beer and a ketchup and mustard for my burger because apparently they dont give that to u and when they did it was empty, wanted another beer but nope they didnt bother coming back to the table that was a joke then to top the evening off my daughter didnt get her meal we waited til everyone finished theirs and she still didnt get it, nothing was done horrible horrible service never again!

Always passed by this place & decided to drop in and check it out. Needless to say, I guess theres a reason we never checked it out. Dark, dingy atmosphere. Didnt get a good vibe upon entering and the greeting was not welcoming either. Not very clean atmosphere or floors. We returned menus and headed down to Ajax.

Perogies tasted like they were microwaved

I had the Mediterranean wrap with a Greek salad on the side. The salad was huge. Dont know how they stuffed as.much into the wrap that they did. Excellent meal Food : 5/5

Cheap.wings on game night

Very, very disappointed by everything, ESPECIALLY the food. We ordered a few appetizers; nachos, chilli chicken bites, bruschetta and the spinach dip. The nachos cost almost 20$ for only a few chips with a sprinkle of cheese, absolutely ridiculous. We paid for some chicken on top and got one or two pieces. The chicken bites came on top of soggy fries, very strange and do not understand at all. The bruschetta was a few pieces of what appeared to be frozen garlic bread with a sprinkle of cheese on top. Not good at all. The spinach dip was the only decent thing we tried. Very, very disappointing and a complete waste of money.

Not sure about other servers but this lady was the best I think I ever had.

The restaurant itself isn t that bad, the food being the best thing about it (shoutout to Siva) but I can never support a restaurant that barely/never pays their workers.

BE WARNED: Ordered food from this place to eat on Christmas Eve, woke up on Christmas morning absolutely puking my guts out. Place genuinely gave me the worst food poisoning I have ever had. I am only just recovering now, I was considering going to the hospital but really did not want to be in the emergency room on Christmas. Luckily it has passed but that was probably the most sick I have ever been in my life. I have done a covid test which has come back negative, so I know for a fact it was the food from this place. Be careful.

Huge number of food offerings but I wish Id ordered something other than a salad. The lettuce, cucumber and tomato tasted like it had been in the fridge a little too long and the faintly grilled pineapple slice had a slight tinny taste. I was impressed with the fact that the chicken was actual chunks of chicken and not the handy pre cooked kind with fake grill marks that a lot of places serve. Big points for clean washrooms and the great renos done to the place! Well give them another chance one day once people start going out a little more often.

I have been ordering from East End Pub for quite some time. I always loved the food until recently. The seafood fettuccine in creamy curry sauce was awesome at first with a lobster tail, shrimp and salmon in a tasty curry sauce. I ordered it in April and got no lobster tail rather a couple more shrimp. I figured they ran out, no big deal. I just got my order and again no lobster tail rather small chunks of what I assume is lobster but most disappointing of all is it came in a tomato sauce instead of the curry sauce. I m not a fan of seafood and tomato sauce. I ate I because I was very hungry but won t order it again.

Ordered takeout. My mother in law who is British really enjoyed her bangers and mash. My little one liked her poutine. I had curry chips which were good but they were WAY BETTER when it was Irish times and a salad which was nice. My carrot cake was small but yummy. I think I really was craving the old menu but I would order again from here! Thanks for the nice dinner.

I could have stayed all day. Staff are great. The variety and quality of food on the menu is wonderful. Taps are cold, lots to choose from prices are very reasonable.

Need I say more? This place is amazing. The Pot Roast & Yorkshire dinner is such a great meal. And such an amazing value. We have been ordering takeout from this restaurant since before the pandemic and have never had a bad meal. We absolutely love it. Always consistent and good food.

The place is awesome. The vibe is great. The host was friendly. The portions you get for food is huge quantity. We ordered 3 dishes for 2 but had to pack everything later because we could not even finish one. Food was delicious.

They could not get my order right and when I called they told me too bad no one can bring you your proper order . Pizza is a flat bread pizza not even real pizza. No flavour to the food. Never again

Horrible experience at this establishment dont come here if looking to get a drink because i was told to leave after just sitting down and the waiter at the time went and talked to a waiter named Kaitlyn who wasnt working and then went to the back and came out saying i wasnt welcome here i dont understand why and the owner seva or what ever his name is he needs to close his doors or fire the incompetent racist employees do not go here if your Caucasian African American Japanese Chinese Korean or of any race other than Indian all lives matter. And felt like i was not welcome anyway please dont go here if your looking for a good time

Was there last week. Sent my food back due to a kitchen mistake and asked them to correct the issue. I recieved the item back 3 times incorrect, before they blamed me for being picky. Not the best management

I miss the days when this place use to be under better management and called Irish Times. I am giving 2 stars for this review because for my party of 3 the food we got was really good, it was just not correct and the service was terrible. Also the new decor is meh. There are some very weird choices based on the type of establishment. It seems like the new managers rushed to get the business open without putting any thought or care into customer service and decor. Our server showed little to no interest in our table as we didnt sit at the bar, didnt check in with us or ask if we wanted refills on our empty drinks prior to the meal. When I finally asked for a refill when she was quickly walking away, she was not happy about the request and upon her return rudely placed the drink on table and left. My friend asked for two extra containers of ketchup and she only brought one and wasnt happy when asked for the second. 5 minutes later she returned to tell us that the restaurant ran out of ketchup. When clearing the table, she proceeded to clean the plates infront of us which resulted in dropping cutlery on the floor. There was lots of issues with the meals compared to what is listed on the menu and our server wanted to argue with me about what we orderd vs what she thought we ordered (she chose to not write our order down and had to return to our table to confirm items). One of the meals (Chicken Caesar Wrap) came with the wrong type of chicken and missing parmasan cheese. My meal (Chipotle Chicken Wrap) was missing all of the ingredients except for the chicken and lettuce. The third meal (Phili Steak Wrap) was delivered as the Phili Steak Sandwich and the chef was too lazy to make a new order so they just dumped the ingredients from the sandwich into a wrap, which the ingredients are similar but not exact between two items. Finally, even though the establishment changed its name awhile ago, there is a cheap looking printed note taped on the window saying Former Irish Times and it still says Irish Times on the receipts.

I was expecting nothing much. OK so the ambiance is pretty sparse and the great beer prices attract some rummies, but HOLY the food is fantastic! Ive been there 2x in a week just to prove it wasnt a fluke...it aint! But as crazy-good as the food is, the service is even better! My crew was pampered by an amazing server from Dubai. I dont remember the last time I had this good a time in a Pub-like restaurant. This place punches way over their weight.

First time visiting this place. As others mentioned, the ambiance is a little lacking. But what s lacking is more than made up for by the amazing service and great food. Fair selection of beer on tap. Our family of 5 ordered the Fish n Chips, Banquet Burger, Mac n Cheese, Chicken Parmesan Dinner, Chipotle Chicken Wrap. All were so good. The portions are unbelievably huge!! Most impressed with the great service from our waitress!!

So this was my first time here, and I dont normally due reviews but this has to happen. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Arrived there today at 11 am. With some softball buddies as we had an hour and a half to eat and digest before our next 2 games.Expecting to get breakfast as the sign clearly states serving breakfast, lunch, dinner. Our waitress said no breakfast being served . So ok we are good with that. Here comes the best part. Took 20 minutes to just get water and ice. Another hour to get our food which we had to go inside and get it. Or we would have missed our game. I order a blt wrap with sweet potatoes fries. Totally digusted when I got my order. My fries were burnt to a crisp. Could not tell what kinda fries they were. As for the wrap thats left unsaid.

Attended an event called Tequila & Brunch here! It was a nice atmosphere with a nice patio & spacious smoking area. Check it out

Visited with a group of friends. Dont think they were properly prepared. Took far to long to get food .some were served in reasonable time but some had to wait over 1 hour and half. Needed more staff

The most disgusting clientele imaginable. My husband took me in for an early valentines dinner tonight. There were very few people in the place, one other table of 4 guys and maybe 4-5 at the bar. The group of 4 at the table, were clearly out for a cold one after work, which is not my problem. They were the loudest most obnoxious group of people I have ever heard. The content of their conversation was what disgusted me. They were talking repeatedly and quite descriptive about bodily functions. Next onto the strip club and then what happens there. To, some very derogatory statements about women. This alll happened while my husband and I tried to eat dinner! I was so turned off I couldn t Even eat. What I found most upsetting is clearly the server/ bartender ( only current visible. Staff in the place ) was friends with them and was laughing with them at the table. When she came to our table and saw that my entire meal was still in front of me she didn t ask if meal was ok, just offered take out box.I told her about what I thought about disgusting customers at other table. She turned around brought the bill. This restaurant has a really good cook who makes great food but attracts really horrible people. I guess because we were the only other table in the place the server didn t thing she should speak to them about their conversation and volume.

This is my go-to place when I visit my mom. Drinks are good and not watered down. Food is always tasty. Basic pub fare, yet good variety. Love their bangers and mash. Staff very pleasant. Good social distancing. Only patio was open as they were doing renovations inside.

Friendly staff, but the lighting isnt great (way too bright) and the front door area reeks of cigarettes possibly due to non-policing of smokers that are way too close to the entrance. Could be a half-decent bar, with a little work put in though.
