Best Hakka in town. Been going for years. Consistently amazing food. Great service. Doesnt get better than this place. See for yourself. I would not steer you wrong!

My go to for chinese food in the area . Prices are cheap and quantity is good. I have tried a variety of dishes over the past little while and have never been dissapointed. Try the mongolian beef and their fish dishes.

Ordered hot n sour soup .. paid $4 extra got 4 pieces of tiny shrimp. Not worth it .

We used to order food from here all the time. The last few times, the food has been garbage. Chicken is stale. Couldn t even eat the chilli chicken. It seems like they are reheating over and over. Chicken pakora tastes like fish as they probably don t change the oil. It s gone down really bad. And not to mention the prices have gone up significantly. Better hakkah place is hakkah pavilion.

We were visiting from Ottawa, the staff greeted us so nicely, made us feel so comfortable. They offer 10% discount for cash, so we did takeout. We ordered three dry spicy dishes, chicken, beef, and eggplant. All are excellent, so very, tasty. The star is the dry eggplant dish! If we are in the area again, we will visit this great Asian food paradise!

I m not sure why this place is rated so high. The server was giving me weird looks because it was too hot in there and asked if we could turn a fan on. I also understood if not but they ignored it. That s ok if they had a heating issue but the food was also pretty bad, no flavour and did not seem fresh at all. My boyfriend also noticed it wasn t fresh and his stomach hurt after. I did like that they gave us cups with ice for our drinks and the atmosphere was nice. I don t think I ll return.

We got chicken hakka noodles, manchurian chicken and butter chicken. The first two items and portions were ok but the butter chicken is not butter chicken lol.

I had a very frustrating experience with Hakka Fusion recently. Not only did I receive the wrong order, but when I contacted the restaurant to get it fixed, the employee I spoke to was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of offering a solution, they seemed annoyed that I even called and made no effort to correct their mistake. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. It s disappointing to see a lack of care for customers, especially when the error was entirely on their end. I won t be ordering from here again and would recommend others be cautious as well.

You get what you pay for. Prices are low because the food quality is low

Took 30 minutes for my first appetizer to come out and then another 45 minutes for the meal to come out. Completely disappointed by the service.

I was let down by my done in visit this evening. I have ordered through Uber before and had no issues with the food. Tonight, nearly every dish served was very obviously stale and reheated. It was so disappointing having to feed my kids old food. The chicken wings were stale, refried and extremely oily. They were also so small and barely had meat on them. The Hakka beef noodles were edible, minus the beef which was very dry and stale. The chilli beef was no doubt reheated and not fresh. The only item that seemed fresh was the shrimp and the green beans. Overall, definitely not the experience I was expecting and therefore I wouldn t dine with Hakka Fushion again.

Good taste

New to Pickering and decided to stop at this Hakka place as it is the only one local to us. The food is tasteless, the rice is hard, beans are uncooked and the meat is mushy. Definitely would not recommend this place. If you are looking for a place to have good, tasty Hakka, try Hakka Passion. Its worth the drive to Ajax.

Best Hakka food in Pickering when fresh.

I recently tried the chilli chicken (dry) and shrimp fried rice from Hakka Fusion, and I must say, the flavors were spot on! The portions were decent, ensuring I left satisfied. However, I found the pricing to be slightly higher compared to similar places. Overall, a delightful experience with great food!

Bought a fried rice. The rice was hard and undercooked. The food was tasteless. I threw the entire box in the garbage. Never stepping food in there again and would never recommend this restaurant. Awful food!

Abysmal customer service. If you re gonna tell me I can t eat the food I ordered in the restaurant because it s on the takeout menu (nobody told me it was the takeout menu) at least post this policy somewhere for your customers to see. Maybe I could understand this being an issue if the restaurant was full but there were two people sitting in there. I couldn t even believe this guy was serious. Won t be back, don t even suggest you go.

My family and I have been enjoying the food from this family run restaurant for 10 years and weve never been disappointed. The food is honestly some of the very best Hakka food Ive ever had, and Im from Scarborough, so that says a lot! It doesnt matter what you order, vegetarian or meat, everything is always cooked to perfection! Not to mention the owners and the love for what they do keeps you coming back over and over again, because you can taste the love and dedication in their food. I recommended them 100% every time!

Mongolian chicken and Bombay chicken were too salty. Also the prices are higher than most Hakka places Ive been to. Chili chicken, hakka noodles, and Manchurian fried rice were good. The Bombay and Mongolian recipes need to be tweaked because of the copious amounts of sodium.

Warning.. make sure you got pepto at home before eating .. This was the only place that my wife and I both ate from today.. our food was ready in 10 minutes which i thought was fantastic service but I was wrong. So so wrong... The best of Hakka in Pickering, and in the eastern GTA! Wow, these people make some totally awesome food! I recommend Chilli Chicken Dry; Pepper Tofu; Fish Poppers; Shrimp Pekoras; and Fung Mee Mein. The Fun Mee Mein is something that you wont get anywhere else. Those are my usual go-to dishes. Tonight I tried something different: Zesty Eggplant and Hot and Sour Sour. Both were wonderful. I especially recommend the eggplant - not heavy or stodgy, but somehow light and airy, and so tasty. Unique local cuisine, done with flair and served with efficiency. Month after month, still THE BEST!! You should order from Hakka Fusion NOW. Sometimes you might have to let the phone ring for a while, but they will pick up during working hours. Thank you, you wonderful people at Hakka Fusion. This is the best take out Asian food that you will get! My son and I are total fans!!! Parking: Hakka Fusion is in a strip mall with a large parking lot. You will find a spot. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs involved!

This is ABSOLUTELY the best Hakka Restaurant in all of GTA! Ive been to a lot of different Hakka joints, from the famous ones in Scarborough to the ones in Markham and NONE of them can compare to Hakka FUSION! Ive been ordering the same thing for the past 2 years and every single time it just taste better and better. The chilli chicken dish is my go to, NOBODY WILL EVER make it the same as they do, its actually crunchy as its suppose to be! Not like the other restaurants where its just soggy and the batter comes off the chicken. My go to rice dish is Manchurian shrimp fried rice and it to is delicious! Keep up the great work guys!

Bad customer service and thr food was old. The Chilli chicken smelled like the chicken had gone bad. We ended up throwing it in the garbage. Wont eb a returning customer thats for sure.

Another one of my classics I have been to with a close friend of mine. The last time I was here was around 5 or 6 years ago. Hakka Fusion really does hakka food with a twist and many spices. I tried today there Hot and Sour Soup. Which had tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and vegetables in a spicy sour broth. This soup really had a kick to it, and I felt it after just one spoonful. The Manchurian Chicken Fried rice was a different take of chicken fried rice with a bit of some spices. They do ask you what spice level you want. I chose medium spice, which was found for my spice level, which was really good.

My go to restaurant Friday Night. Eddy is the best and a very nice guy, memorized my weekly order I just have to say the usual! Best Chili Chicken out there and the Fried Pepper Chicken Appetizer theres nothing like it anywhere else. High quality food and service, you will not be disappointed!

Hakka Fusion is literally once a week joint for us. Really good Hakka Chinese food which tends to be a fusion of Chinese food and Indian spices. Chilli Chicken and Chicken manchurian are my favs.....and their dry fish is to die for!!!!

Calm environment. Friendly, hardworking and attentive servers. Place is kept very clean. Excellent portion size and fair prices. Pickering gem!

Went for supper tonight and was pleasantly surprised! The service was very attentive and friendly. The food portions were quite generous. Nice flavours, definitely satisfied the cravings. The corn and chicken soup was delicious, and the Kimling chicken was sooooo nice and crispy and tasty! I should have ordered some vegetables but thats on me.

I would put Hakka fusion in the top 10 Hakka restaurants in the GTA. The flavours here are immaculate and they really understand the assignment. My go to dish is the chilli chicken dry extra crispy extra spicy with the gravy on the side. I have tried various dishes at this establishment and all have been delicious. Customer service has always been great, overall a great experience.

The wife & I visited Hakka Fusion for lunch. We were attended to immediately with a smile. There were three other tables occupied when we entered and we spotted a steady stream of what we surmised to be regular patrons throughout our stay. Our waters were filled regularly, we were proffered menu recommendations and our preferred spice level was confirmed when taking the order. Five stars for the service which was quick, unobtrusive and warm. We were handed a lunch menu with quite a comprehensive set of options and we chose the following: --> Chilli Chicken with hakka noodles --> Szechuan Chicken with hakka noodles --> Spicy Pepper Chicken with fried rice The soup of the day was sweet corn soup which my wife enjoyed but I didnt think it was much to write home about. The star of the day was the Spicy Pepper Chicken - it was delightfully spiced and was accompanied by the fragrant fried rice which was redolent of flavours from India. This was my favourite. This was also my wifes choice for best dish. The Szechuan Chicken with hakka noodles was simply terrific and the hakka noodles that it was served on had absored the essence of the Szechuan sauce and the whole dish was an abundance of awesomeness. The Chilli Chicken for which I had high hopes felt a little flat when compared to its counterparts and seemed to lack any punchy flavour. It was just passable, at best. I ordered for the first time in Uber eats this weekend, and I was so impressed with their food, I ordered again a few days later! I got their fried chicken wings, chili chicken EXACTLY how I like it (extra crispy chicken with gravy), crispy ginger beef, Shanghai noodles with chicken and shrimp, and beef fried rice. I. LOVED. First time having Hakka in Pickering and honestly it was great! Order a spicy fish dish which was great and chilli chicken that was also quite good!

Terrible customer service! I called in and asked what vegetarian spicy fried rice they had. They suggested Manchurian but I opted for Malaysian VEG fried rice. I initially asked for shrimp and chicken fried rice for the kids but replaced it with EGG fried rice. She repeated the order and asked me so no shrimp and chicken? I said no, egg fried rice instead of the shrimp and chicken. We had the order picked up and when we opened it, they sent us a shrimp and chicken Malaysian fried rice instead of the vegetarian. I called them and the girl that answered argued with me for a few minutes saying that she repeated the order and I told her exactly what we discussed. She kept repeating herself so I spoke with the manager. The manager asked me to come back to exchange it.. I explained to him that I ordered food to save time and I have 2 young kids at home to put to bed so I can t come back. He asked me to bring the food back the next day to exchange. I explained I start work at 7am and he actually said leave it in your car . In this heat, who would leave shrimp and chicken in the car? His solution was tie it . I asked to just credit it for next time as there s no purpose anymore and he said I can t give you a credit. She confirmed your order . Again, she confirmed that it s MALAYSIAN but did not mention it being shrimp and chicken. I also ordered a spicy schezuan tofu and mentioned that I m vegetarian. If he can suggest to keep the food in the car and bring it back, just makes me question the hygiene in the restaurant. Disgusting. We ve ordered from here for years and will definitely not be going back after this.

We tried this hakka place for the first time and we really loved it. The place is very clean and the customer service is extremely good. We had deluxe chicken fried rice, shrimp hakka noodles, chilli chicken and wontons. Portions are big and food is delicious. They also made sure that my baby is happy by giving her paper/crayons to engage her and a plate with Frozen movie sticker for her to enjoy her food. Hot and sour soup is fantastic. We ordered schezuan fish and chicken Manchurian fried rice. Did not quiet like them. The rice was bland and felt dead. Fish was okay too much cornstarch. Service is wonderful. Ambience is clean. Nice jazz music.

The food was excellent; just a bit salty, but it was good. It s nice and quiet; there is enough food for two people. You must bring your own Tupperware if you do not want to pay 50 cents for each container. But we were cool with it. Go here and have a great time

I had high hopes for this place, but I had a few unfortunate incidents with the same order. First I ordered the hot and sour soup and found a male hair in it. Then when I was adding my chicken Szechuan I found a bug in it. After that my family and I refused to eat the meal, and just threw the whole order.

We ve been coming here for ages now and all I can say is that not only is the food always delicious, hot and fresh. But the people who own and operate this place are genuinely the best. You can tell when someone is being nice for the sake of it but I think the owner here is genuinely a people person and is always very kind, generous and always had helpful suggestions and recommendations. If you re in the area or even a twenty minute drive away. Give this place a try and I guarantee you ll keep going back for more. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Ask them and they ll modify a dish. Dietary restrictions: They re always very good about food allergies and making sure everything is done properly.

Whether you dine in or take out, from the moment the staff greet you to the moment you receive your order, you will experience nothing but graciousness. They pipe in jazz standards, giving the place a relaxed atmosphere. The food is always very good, we usually get a noodle dish, like their beef ho fan, a veggie dish ( I like the silly mapo tofu) and sometimes an app like the fish pakora. Its been hard finding a consistently good hakka place on Pickering, Hakka Fusion is it!! Give them a try, I dont think you will be disappointed.

This was the first time we visited the place... the service was very good and we were felt welcomed... the restaurant was very clean, the waitress was very friendly... loved the experience.... we ordered for chow min, manchurian pakoda and chilli tofu... we loved the noodles... the pakoda had a little bit of extra corn starch which we could taste... but overall the food was good... will visit again..

Fantastic food and friendly service. I have never been disappointed with the food from Hakka Fusion. They have so many vegetarian options. The spice is just right for hakka. Vegetarian options: Just about any dish that you can order with meat, they have as a vegetarian option. I am not vegetarian, but my daughter is, and every time she comes to visit, and we order Hakka, this is what we order. I just order a lot of my usuals but in vegetarian format.

Hakka Fusion never disappoints. I have been going for a number of years and the food is consistently good. The latest order was Shrimps and Lobster Sauce, Spicy Pepper chicken and egg fried rice. Everything was excellent. To top it off the owners are extremely nice and appreciative of their customers.

I ordered from here for the first time and I can say that Ive finally found a great Hakka restaurant close to home! I ordered the Chili Chicken (wet), Beef and Broccoli, Bombay Chicken, and Malay Fried Rice. The chili chicken was good, needed some more flavor, but much better than many places Ive been before. Im sure when its dry itll be extra tasty! The Bombay chicken was also very tasty, with hints of masala. Beef and broccoli is your standard, tasty as well, lots of gravy for white rice. The Malay rice was also tasty. I dont usually buy rice dishes but I wanted to try something new and wasnt disappointed. Great quality food, large quantity, and decent prices. Not much more to ask for!

This place has the best chili chicken with or without gravy. Ive tried both! When the hunger kicks in, the cravings are fulfilled! Also, there fish in black bean sauce is amazing. So delicious! However, I placed an order for pick up during the week, and once I got home to eat my meal. I noticed that the flour was coming off the chili chicken. It felt as if I was taking a bite out of soggy chili chicken. As if the chicken didnt have enough time to crisp up before they added the gravy. Im not a chef, but I know good chili chicken. It didnt taste right, so maybe its my fault for ordering 30 minutes before their closing time of 9:30 PM. A bit disappointed because my meal costed me a little less than $20 without a drink. Considering, I could have gone to any burger joint and gotten a combo with a drink. The choices we make at times may or may not fulfil your cravings. Well, I know the Asian guy and his mom that work there. Theyre hard-working people and so Im still going to support their business.

What a amazing find. This is a real gem of a hakka food restaurant. Eddy, our host was friendly and courteous. The food was excellent. The aroma and flavour of the Pepper fish was exquisite. The portions were sufficient for two of us. We were truly impressed with the service of both Eddy and Carolyn. We will definitely be back soon. Our family will be here at the next gathering.

Really don t understand how Hakka Fusion could get anything less than 5 stars. Our absolute favourite Hakka restaurant (and we have tried a lot of Hakka!). We actually moved and travel from the opposite end of the city to come here. Can t wait to move back to Pickering for our weekly Hakka Fusion fix! The food is amazing. We will travel 20 mins each way to get it. Ed has the best disposition for customer service of anyone at any restaurant I ve ever been to. Family owned business with mom and brother working in the kitchen while Ed handles the customers. Highly recommend.

Was NOT impressed with the Chicken Pokura, first it was sour, and it was all dough. How hard is it to put some chicken in it. Really peeved at any restaurant that tries to pass off stale food to its customers. Cleanliness must be an issue read the 1 stars.

Great food and great service. Parking: Roughly 8-10 parking spots right in from of the restaurant and dozen more around the corner to thr right side when you walk out of the restaurant.

I bought Manchurian soup , chicken fried rice and bombay beef dry last night. Manchurian soup tasted really good, chicken fried rice was very dry and tasted horrible and bombay beef dry also tasted not good. Very disappointed with the quality of their food. I almost spent $50 and not satisfied at all. Please make sure to maintain the quality all the time.

My go to Hakka place in the Durham. All of the food is always fresh and tasty, the staff are always welcoming and great to deal with. They are the only Hakka place that are so accommodating with dietary restrictions, my wife has celiac and they always take extra care when preparing our food to avoid cross contamination. As well, they making changes to dishes to make them Gluten Free, and are always offering suggestions for GF options. Hakka Fusion has become a staple in our house. Today we ordered chilli chicken and garlic chicken taste is not good I think they changed the chef.

Got the lunch special after a long time (before pandemic) and was so disappointed. All specials come with hot and sour soup that was watery to say the least with only 2 things in it, a few pieces of carrots and tofu- that was it. Probably the worst hot and sour soup I ve tried from any restaurant. Main was rice with Manchurian fish- essentially 5 small pieces of fish in a light brown gravy with little to no flavor. Please guys, don t bother making something if it s going to turn your customer away. General Tao chicken was also not even close to the taste of the original dish, same light brown gravy and soggy chicken. Maybe the dinner is better, but I won t be back to find out. Too many other better options out there.

AVOID!!!! Place is a rip off. No prices on menu at front counter. Ordered 3 items. Guy punched in prices. Asked to see a menu again with prices. Gave take out menu but said prices are out of date to check on line for updated prices. Checked on line menu - everything we were charged for was less (over charged on all 3 items)!!! Showed guy beyond counter. First denied it was his web site. Then acknowledged but would NOT match the on-line prices. Got caught over charging and didn t want to admit it I suppose. In the end it was only a $13 over charge on a $49 order but it s the principle. Charge what you advertise don t make it up to rip people off!!
