Food is always good, but seems like no matter what time of day I ve gone. It s always pretty slow service. Not a great spot for a quick breakfast however, staff is friendly and no complaints about the food.

Always has a nice variety of plain but wholesome food- like home cooking only someone else makes it! Plenty of parking. Easy access for disabled as no steps. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

With a thick slice of Butterball turkey breast and generous bacon, I just enjoyed one of the best club sandwiches Ive ever had. My wife also enjoyed her hibachi chicken dish. We were impressed.

Literally, the worst restaurant I have ever been in. There was nothing good about this place. The food was awful, dry and disgusting. The portions were so small that the plate was 3/4 empty. The service was unbelievably slow and the server was unbelievably rude. Expensive is not a word I can use for this place. It would be cheaper to eat at The Keg than it would to have two eggs and two sausages at Perkins. Asking for the manager does not help, because the manager is never in the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not there at 4:00 p.m. I called three different times, on three different days, during three different meal periods and each time I asked for the manager and was told he was not there. Complaining to Head Office is not possible. If you try and send an online complaint, the system does not allow you to do that, because you need to enter five digit ZIP code and in Canada we only have six digit postal codes. If you try and call Perkins to make a complaint, they dont have a toll free number, only a local U.S. number, that is only accessible from Canada if you are willing to pay long distance charges. The service was so bad that I went and bought a calling card to be able to call the United States. I finally was able to get a hold of someone at Perkins and they took my complaint and promised that someone would call me back within 48 hours. Guess what? Its been 7 days and nobodys called. I guess they take customer service very seriously at Perkins. I guarantee, that if someone made a complaint of this magnitude, about Perkins, in the United States, the manager of that restaurant would have been fired, but here Canadians are taken for granted and we are treated like garbage by these American corporations.

I love their pancakes. Coffee by the cup would be nice but...they sell it by the pot. Lots of parking is nice.

The friendly staff are constantly interacting with us to ensure our food is up to our standards. Without a doubt, if you havent before, you must try it. My family has enjoyed visiting Perkins since our kids were little. Tonight my husband and I went for dinner, and the food was tasty as usual. Im fond of coconut cream pie, but recently discovered their peanut butter pie which is delicious. Sadly I had to remove the onions from my sandwich, I love them, but just cant handle them lately. We usually have good service when we eat here, but what made this meal extra enjoyable tonight wasnt the pie, or the delicous pot roast sandwich. It was the service - Kayla was first class - she was attentive, helpful and genuinely friendly. She didnt pressure us and was very patient as we got familiar with the new menu items. She made sure the coffee pot was always topped up too. My husband and I are fairly quiet in public- we dont usually chat people up, and prefer to just keep to ourselves. Well that didnt happen, Kayla removed all our defenses and had us joking with her by the end of our meal. Kayla seems to have a very good rapport with all of the customers, and I can see why, she really has a talent for dealing with people and putting them at ease - that is something you dont see very often, and in the last 20 years of eating in the GTA, I can only remember one other server who had this remarkable skill. Now I just need to get my hands on her schedule so we can be sure to return when shes on shift. Thank you Kayla for putting a smile on our faces, you even melted our keep ourselves to ourselves attitude so much that we goofed around with the little boy in the booth next to us - thats a first! Note - the restaurant feedback on this post is regarding a previous post re: a delivery order from a couple of years ago where they had forgotten to include part of the order. It was resolved satisfactorily and we still visit the restaurant when were in the area. Parking: Always lots of parking on the lot immediatly outside of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: This location is accessible for mobility impaired and wheelchair access. There are automatic door openers and level access from the parking lot to the entrance. There are moveable tables/chairs where wheelchairs can be accommodated as well as booth seating, and there is wheelchair accessible washrooms. The parking lot has disability parking spaced close to the entrance of the restaurant.

Found a really good spot in Pickering for breakfast/ brunch. Really loved the taste and so many options to choose from.

Food - food was good, normal breakfast food nothing exceptional. Service is good, ladies take care of you very well Atmosphere- the restaurant is diner setting with booths and chairs and tables. I went to take my kids to the washroom and was completely disgusted at the condition. The toilet had poop splattered all over it, the urinal had gum and food in it. Looks like it was t cleaned prior to opening for the day. After seeing that i was done. Stopped eating, paid my bill and left. Was completely turned off of the place.

Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to seat us. Coffee was stale and weak. Asked for over medium eggs and my husband asked for over easy, instead I was given over easy and he was given the over medium. The pancakes were dry. Server did not come back to see if the food was ok or not! Couldnt wait to eat and leave.

While this place was nice, the food was enjoyable, and my server was kind, I had a bit of an issue with the managers. I asked a hostess one day for my bill as I was dining with others and didnt want them paying first. She asked my table number and right as she was about to say shell grab my server one of the managers butted in and said your server will be with you in a moment. He was not originally apart of the conversation so I asked him why hes intervening. He then just repeated that he was letting me know my server would be with me it almost sounded like he didnt know what we were actually discussing so I said im sorry do you know what we are discussing? The manager hesitated and tried coming up with an answer but I just later stated the hostess managed the situation shes capable of answering a customer perfectly fine you didnt need to come in. I do fear I may have been too harsh and made the host uncomfortable which wasnt my goal, but it felt like the manager was disrespecting their staff even though they were doing their job well. Besides this my server was great, and the food tasted good. However, management does need to make an improvement.

We ordered catering for a Volunteer Appreciation event for 150 people and it was delicious. Many compliments on the meal. Pick up was easy, price was right. I highly recommend catering from Perkins and will certainly be returning again.

Breakfast, Brunch and even Dinner options are available. They also serve alcohol! Service is not as fast in low volume times but that s natural. You can also order a variety of fruit and cream pies that are baked fresh at the start of every day

Steak and pepper skillet was excellent. Fish and shrimp excellent. The coconut cream pie was the best Ive ever tasted. Took home a caramel apple crumble pie Excellent! I would definitely recommend. I live in Oshawa and would actually make the drive to get baked goods. Mmmmm

Weve been to Perkins many times. The food is great if youre looking for safe, tasty, and traditional English style food. The service is excellent and every server weve met had been cheerful, helpful, and fast. Only thing I would say that made my last visit a bit less enjoyable was the couple who sat in front of our booth, the woman was so loud when she spoke it was incredibly annoying. Thankfully they left half way through our meal! Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly and treat children with respect and kindness.

I have only ever been to Perkins for breakfast and probably will only do so. I was so disappointed in the Niagara Falls location with their over inflated prices , I stayed away from Perkins for years . The breakfast I had here was very good. Great safety protocols . They have a large patio for extra seating, This restaurant may have brought me back to Perkins.

Ive been here multiple times with my family and friends. I had their fish with shrimps , rice and asparagus. The asparagus was tough. I still recommend this place as I find the service and atmosphere great.

A lot of variety with their menu. It took awhile for our food to come. Everything was delicious. My scrambled eggs were a little undercooked. I think because it was a weekend their service was a little slow so it took awhile to get refills on our waters. All that being said, I definitely plan to go back. Their blueberry muffin was lovely!

Four of us had a great breakfast. The food and service were terrific. All of the guests there seemed to be enjoying themselves too. We checked out the dinner menu and made plans to come back soon.

Visited for breakfast recently for the first time. Food and service was excellent. Lots of variety from which to choose. Also theyre very generous with their coffee. Went for a 2nd visit a few weeks later just as good as the first.

Great menu and food, love how most plates come with so many great options! Wish they had espresso based coffees and smoothies, that would make it perfect!

Honestly I love breakfast joints. When i saw the pies & the potato hash I had to give em a try. However I wasn t very happy with the portion of my meal & the temperature as well. My food was barely warm which through me off. However I did like how they give you a jug of coffee for the table. If my food temperature was better easily a 4 star experience. Will try the pie next time.

Food tastes ok , chicken i got tasted like it was frozen mac and cheese tasted like it was kraft dinner. But the pie wildberry pie was to die for. I wish i got more plates of that pie other then the main dish

The food is decent, its always busy. The interior requires some work. The seating is joined together with a separation wall. Every booth shook with the diners enter and exiting the booth, which is very disruptive and of no fault of the other patron(s). I wish I had taken a picture.

Waitress didn t mention the special when we seated. Seen it when we left. Disappointed. Spent $32 when we could have gotten 2 - $8.95 breakfast (under $20). I bought potato pancakes w/bacon and applesauce and hubby bought 2 eggs and sausage w/toast, a coffee and tea each. We had a 20% coupon and our final bill was $32. Would have been like $40 for breakfast w/out coupon!! Holy. Atmosphere is comfortable. Like the booths. Washrooms were clean. Dietary restrictions: Did not have gluten free bread or alternative milk options. Had sourdough bread, as per waitress, didn t see it on the menu though, unless I overlooked it. As people are more health conscious, I do believe they should offer gluten free bread and alternative milk options. Tim Hortons has oat milk for goodness sake. Anyways, I brought some oat milk from home so I could enjoy a tea.
