We have eaten here several times in the past. Food was on the pricier side, but was always fresh and filling. Unfortunately, this place has taken a hit. 1 sandwich, 2 burgers, 1 small fries, 1 large poutine cost about 60 plus dollars. There was a hair in the food, the fries looked and tasted refried and the veggies were not fresh. Will not be returning. You can get a better and cheaper poutine at Costco.

Ordered 2 cheesesteak sandwiches and was very disappointed. The meat was tasteless and the onions were too. I ordered with Swiss cheese and thet either didnt put any or too little to tell. I wont be back.

I entered the store and waited 3 minutes before walking out without the small girl.workimg there even acknowledged I entered the store. She was too busy entertaining a phone call through her apple earpods, to ever notice the door or chime. And never even looked to the front of the store. This was my first attempt at filthy phillys. And I definitely will never come back to this location. Fyi management.. I eat out around 2 times a week out here minimum. You just lost 60 per week potential right here alone. Have a great week. Curb those ear pods on shift, it is costing you business.

A lot of people mention new owners? To many people run businesses they dont seem to take pride in. Ah well. Used to be great place for poutine. New owners a few years ago brought it so far down Ill never come back. They leave the box have empty, skimp on meat and chees, and now charge you for a dip on the side. This is ridiculous when they charge 20 bucks for a poutine. AVOID

Food was contaminated. My 4 year old got food poisoning after eating veggie poutine on 14th July 2024. This is not the same place where we used to it couple of years ago. Vegetarian options: Veggie Poutine was contaminated.

Its a land fill now new owners are clueless brown lettuce stale meet and bread they count every olive in front of you there completely missing the point not even qualified to handle and cook food be very cardful here.... there nickel and diming them selves to death Im shocked they lasted this long speaks greatly of the people that eat here low standards for all never again I learned my lesson....bring the greek owner back she had hospitality and charm and loaded the food...

Tried the poutine with a combo. Would suggest just upping the size of the Cheesesteak, which was yummy, or just the Cheesesteak. Nothing spectacular, but small was filling, and you can get steak and chicken.

This used to be one of my favorite places but, similarly to a lot of others, it s continued to go downhill. The man working was very nice and thorough but the food was disappointing. Burgers had no cheese (seeing a trend here), and the fries were dry and undercooked. I don t think we will be returning

So the filthy size poutine was half empty and the chopped cheese sandwich was very small in quantity inside the bun. I used to come there all the time but gave up when it switched owners last time. Looks like they switched owners again and nothing has improved. Unfortunate as this place was all my favorites list before.

Do not go here!!! Save your money, their quantities are chipotle small!!! $30 only gets you angry...Phil...you are indeed filthy cheap with your portions.

This place used to be good when it originally opened. Ive ordered multiple times and each time seems to get worse. This most recent time I ordered a medium cheesesteak on ubereats. The sandwich is made on an overly processed bun. The amount of meat is laughable and the worst part is that they forgot the cheese! I selected American cheese with whiz as a paid add-on and received a sandwich with no cheese. How can you be a sandwich shop known for Philly cheesesteaks and forget to add cheese to your sandwich.... The lack of cheese made the sandwich really dry and disappointing. Probably my last time ordering from here.

Ordered a large traditional poutine for myself and my wife. I added extra gravy on the side for 3.00 plus. We were given a medium size box , the brown box and the fries tasted like wet cardboard box. I mean I never tasted fries like this ever. The gravy usually helps with the taste of the fries but this was unbearable. Huge disappointment will never order from this place again. Wow totally shocked !!

First time visiting and the food was delicious and very filling.

On Saturday March 09/24 @ around 7:30 pm I been there for the first time and Customer service was excellent inviting and store cleaning was top shape. I ordered foot size Halal Philly steak after tax cost $19.20 and it was a small amounts of Philly steak and cheese and it was disappointing portions at-least vs I paid. The amount of portions it matters.

Used to be great but the quality of the food has gone way down, the breaded chicken on the Buffalo chicken poutine is now frozen chicken nuggets cut in half. edit: this wasnt a one off, I had the same experience at an Oshawa location

I ve been going to this place for a few years now and have never had a bad meal there. However the last two times I ve been there have been disappointing. I got the grilled chicken poutine and the chicken was under seasoned and quite dry. I also had the peppercorn steak sandwich and the meat was very tough. I would say to go on Tuesdays when they have their deals on Philly cheesesteaks and regular poutine. Worth the $6 but not full price.

I wouldnt know if the food tasted good because there was no fork! How do you guys forget to put in the fork with an order? What was the point in ordering from you if you didnt give a fork? Did you expect me to eat my piping hot poutine with my hands? Such a basic utensil and you cant remember to put in a fork? You guys arent even busy at 9:30pm. How did you forget to put in a fork? In the end, the 30 dollars spent on this meal was wasted.

Uber eats d a classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich DO NOT GET A SMALL. The receipt I got was bigger than the sandwich (~6 inches). The sandwich is 10/10 though. Their philthy sauce was great. Did not regret adding it. Pretty pricy but the quality is great.

Philthy Phillys is the real deal when it comes to awesome sandwiches and poutine. They nail it every time with top-notch quality thats hard to beat. Hands down, theyre the best in town. Definitely worth checking out if youre into seriously good eats

My 1st time going to this place and loved the service and recommendations by the staff there last night. The philly cheese steak was one of the best I have ever had! Vegetarian options: The Vege poutine was also amazing!

Poutines are good, cheese steaks are pretty good. Always slow as hell though, I suggest ordering in advance.

Ordered here for the first time. I specifically said No onions and when I got back home there were lots of onions on my sandwich. I drove back and they remade my order, but no apology or anything. I will not be back. Check your orders before leaving the store. I get that this is an honest mistake but an apology is the least they could have done and they didn t. Call me old fashioned but customer service use to mean something. I guess being rude is the new standard for these guys.

Pulled Pork Poutine was awesome.

I ordered 2 items, one of which was a poutine. There was a special that day (which I wasn t aware of), which wasn t offered to me. Instead it was offered to the two following patrons. When asked if this could be applied to my order, it was refused and suggested I come in another day for another special. Why would I come in another day for another special? It s simple, reimburse the client, provide the upgrade or offer the same service you offer all of your patrons. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.

This place is a hidden gem. Best ever Philly steak and their poutine is amazing. Lots of choices and combos to pick from. Great friendly service and staff.

Bad service, slow and incompetent staff

This location was great but recently has went down in quality. Very stingy with servings and quality of food.

The food was delicious, and the sauces were excellent. Parking was convenient, there wasnt much of a wait, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The best item was cheesecake.

Definitely not worth the price. The poutine is mediocre and the sandwich is alright but 100% not worth the price they charge. If it was half the price Id recommend them but for 1 combo with a small sandwich and poutine I spent $26. Theres better bang for buck at other restaurants that taste much better.

i just left a bad review to a company not deserving of praise. that restaurant is not Philthys. IDK who Philly is but hes a philthy bloke who now owes me pants. bro, youre getting me fat. btw, im still working on that large meat poutine. you could feed a family with that much content. Im never making the mistake of ordering a solo large again. thats A LOT!

Long waiting time (approximately 30 minutes) and children at commercial kitchen is really unsafe.

Not a clean or friendly environment.

This spot isn t professional at all, all of the employees are wearing flipflops in the kitchen which is extremely unsafe and one of the employees brought his wife and child in the back as well as dining area, casually feeding the child as though they were in the comfort of their own home. My sister and I ordered food at the same time and she was given hers first while I had to wait for others who came after me get their food handed to them. These workers are extremely inappropriate and ruin a good name for this gem.

This place really went down the drain. Used to come here often when it was under different management. During that time, the employees used to care about service and quality of the food. Can t say the same now. Chicken was dry, poutine was quite small compared to what it used to be. And like others have mentioned, you can see some children in the kitchen area which is not safe. Probably won t come again

The owner of this place asked me to come for a 4 hour evaluation shift. I went there and the moment i enter in their kitchen, was so bad and unhygienic. They don t wear gloves, they do not clean their kitchen. I was feeling like vomit. Literally it was that bad(foul smell, no gloves, using phone and then making sandwiches with same unhygienic hand s without gloves). And at last the owner/management didn t pay me for that 4 hrs. I messaged her too but she didn t reply. Pathetic environment. Moreover, if she wanted me to work 4 hrs shift unpaid she should ve informed me earlier. Never go and eat from this place because they are really unhygienic. I have been in their kitchen. In addition, she just messaged me that if you want to get paid remove the google review. I repeatedly asked for provolone and cheese whiz on my cheesesteak and they kept repeating back cheese curds. I even pointed to cheese whiz on the menu. Thought I was just hearing them wrong so I left it. When I finally got the sandwich, it ended up being provolone and feta cheese I even had to pay extra because I wanted 2 cheeses

I hate to leave a bad review but the food was disappointing. Staff was friendly but they completely messed up our order. We came in late at night and the restaurant was completely empty, so it surprised us when we checked our to-go orders and found out that our poutine was just hot fries and onions. Kind of a bummer when you re looking for a late night bite.

Refused to cancel an Uber eats order which was pocket ordered. Cancelled 3 minutes after yet they said the order was prepared. Over two orders of frozen mushroom caps.

Will never go to this restaurant again. The restroom was disgusting. There was blood on the toilet. The floors are sticky everywhere in the restaurant. (Edit 1): Review above was from a year ago. Prices are getting a little out of hand. Extra charge for cheese wiz? $18 for a large poutine? Not at that price. Not for me at least. (Edit 2): Their poutine boxes have changed and are SO much smaller than they used to be. I am done with this place. It has gone way downhill. Seems like new management is clueless.

I have now ordered twice from this location and it was horrible. The first time I got the pork perogies with onions thinking oh it has pulled pork and onions, What I got was perogies with a little to go container of what I am assuming was bbq sauce. When I talked to them they had no answers to why they sent it to me. This time I ordered the same thing in hopes it would change. Nope. The perogies are under cooked and the sour cream that came with it has gone bad to the point where I cant keep anything down. My question is dose anyone that works here actually have their food handlers and now how to cook and not serve spoiled food? Twice now this has happened. So no I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be sick

Awesome times with awesome friends! The staff accommodated my large group and served us incredible poutine. The portion sizes were also huge. I would highly recommend them!

It was our first time visiting and had high hopes. The food was overpriced for what we ordered. We chose to eat in. The entire time we were there, we were harassed by kids who were loitering in and outside the restaurant. I was hoping staff would step in and ask them to leave. Such was not the case. We ended up leaving ourselves without finishing our meal. I have an autistic child whose anxiety was escalating due to the glares and name calling.

This store has gone downhill after the new owner took over. Asked for feta cheese on my sandwich and I got light sprinkles of it. They said that s the normal amount they put. Poutine special they are cheating customer with their own boxes which are not from Philty Phillies. Store is not as clean, disorganized cooks. Avoid this place and goto Ajax. Much better service.

Got a small cheese steak but even that was huge! Loved it.

Food was decent here. The one employee was sick quite obviously and it was kind of concerning considering she was wiping her nose and working with the food in the back also no gloves had I noticed prior to ordering I would have left. With that said I did not get sick and the food was ok.

Came here on a Tuesday, I ordered 3 steak sandwiches, and the quality of food completely changed from when I usually go. EVERYTHING TASTED OLD FROM THE DRY BREAD TO THE YELLOW LETTUCE. The coleslaw was even missing the sauce it usually comes with. VERY DISAPPOINTED you lost a long time customer.

Over the years... the product quantity has changed drastically. And youre charged extra for cheese now... kinda sucks considering its a cheesesteak place lol

Totally screwed up a Skip The Dishes order. The O-ring Pierogies had no onion rings, bacon, or sour cream. The SOB Pierogies had no jalapeños, the sautéed mushrooms were 2 pieces of uncooked mushroom slices, the beef was an unseasoned broken-up burger patty. Both orders were only marginally above room temperature, yet we only live 5 mins away. The SOB order was on its side and leaking salsa juice The Greek Salad came with no dressing, and the lettuce was the soggy shreds typically used in sub sandwiches. Do NOT order from this place. As it was so badly and inaccurately prepared, we were concerned about food safety, and garbaged the whole order and ordered a pizza. Thankfully, Skip refunded the order, so they get full-marks. Philthy s doesn t.

We ordered philthy poutine and philthy sandwich. Firstly we think philthy size wasn t sufficient for 2 people but the amount of meat and cheese makes it hugeee. Yes it was hugeeee we had to take remaining at our home. Nothing is beatable for the size, price and quality of this restaurant. We recently moved to Pickering now this restaurant is in our weekly wish list. Thanks to the employees for your customer service.

They have the worst service ever!! I want to start off with the guys who are working in the back, since it s an open kitchen concept you can see the staff preparing your food. I stood there watched as no one was wearing gloves touching everything from raw bacon to raw beef burgers not once did I see them wash hands especially during this Covid time. Save the trip for this location because even the manager/owner has no customer service. My order was already late. Instead of making my food he kept arguing with me and told me to cancel my order and leave so I can get charged for the food which I wouldn t receive since it was through Uber. Never again will I go back. Don t believe me then go experience it your self.

Not sure what is happening but for the past two weeks on their $5.00 poutine, there has been less gravy and cheese curds through out and now it s only at the top of the poutine so the rest of the poutine is dry and cheese less.

3 stars are because the customer service at the Ajax location was good. However, had to throwaway 2 subs once we got home. My son s sub had very little meat, bread was way too soggy and just a poor tasting. Have eaten at other locations on a frequent basis and enjoyed my experience but the last 2 visits at their Ajax location has me rethinking other options Fries were a winner, yet when spending $45-50 for 2 subs combos it s too expensive to just enjoy fries CORRECTION - The location is in Pickering on KIngston Rd. Its very close to Ajax on Kingston Rd. Apologies to the management for incorrect naming of location town.

I am so excited about Philthy Phillys new Ajax location at 280 Rossland Road (behind Esso Station). They have the BEST poutine ever. Today I tried a Philthy Phillys cheesesteak for the first time. OMG!!! It was so good. Thank you Raj and you will be seeing a lot of me in the future.

Favourite local place for poutine. Today we got a large pulled pork poutine and it was awesome. Two of us tried to finish it but it was too much. Really tasty barbecue sauce with the pork and plenty of cheese curds mixed in.

I orderd delivery lastnight from skip the dishes. 1 philly cheestake, 1 chilly heartburn poutine and a drink. There was no cutlery, napkins or condiments of any sort. The sandwich itself wasnt bad but presentation couldve been alot better as the poutine looked like they just dropped it in the bag, was very messy and the sauce and gravy was spelt all over the inside on the bag as there was no cover for the poutine. The whole meal just looked very rushed and messy, like it was just tossed in the bag and stapled shut. Not what I expected for a first time experience considering how much I paid for the meal plus delivery.

Prices were great and portions are good but if you are planning on eating in, think twice. Chairs are super uncomfortable and the tables were dirty. Overall the service was reasonably quick and the food was good.

Always great service and ambience, but now a place I wont be returning to. I am s person of habit and once I find something I enjoy, I continue to be a loyal customer. But when free toppings are being used on a miniscule scale its niw disappointing. Last time and now this time the amount of cheese wiz on my philly is the amount you put on a knife. Charge me for it then. I get no other toppings otger then meat and cheeses. I would gladly pay more then the 17 u just charged me to have an adequate amount. I understand inflation but then charge me for it. And when I make a comment you then ask if i want more. At that point I dont, i am just so disappointed for something so small that I wont be returning. So sad.

I went from Toronto to Pickering and it was worth it. I bought a Buffalo chicken poutine and a bacon poutine.They were great. The customer service was also very good .I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This young cashier was so courteous and I believe he is an asset to this location. I have had Philthy Phillys from a couple locations now and I can say that the food from this location is the best. I was introduce to this franchise at the beginning of the pandemic, the owner was working that day and she was really nice as well. Even though it a 35 min drive, this will continue to be our location of choice.

Burgers are always great!! The poutine gravy can be a little hotter as I ate it within 2min and it was on the cooler side. Besides that I enjoy the meal

Had great customer service with this location today. Thought they sent me the wrong grow-op burger, but it ended up being that (surprise surprise) the customer was wrong, and they indeed gave me the right burger (twice). Thanks to the server who made my burger and also refused payment on the 2nd, will continue to come here also my mom loves the Philly Cheesesteak from here.

I watched as two people who walked in after me and ordered were served before I was. I must have waited about twenty minutes for my food, which I only received after I asked why the service was trash. Never again. No thank you.

Pickering location is a health hazard waiting to happen. The staff certainly need additional training in handling the cash register/money, washing their hands and trimming their dirty figure nails, before touching food and helping out in the kitchen. Salad toppings are left opened, the countertop area and floors are usually very messy. While waiting for my sandwiches, I was shock to see the staff touching their mask, adjusting their hat/hair and handling cash multiple times. Then went ahead to cook in the kitchen and then add final toppings upfront without washing hands or wearing gloves. Love supporting my local business but unfortunately I would not be visiting this location again. Perhaps my basic hygiene expectation is too high for this restaurant, after all, maybe thats why they are named Philthy Phillys.

We had two orders. Regular Philly steak - was very good and would order again. Poutine - wayyyyyy to salty - all I could taste was salt ! Would not go back for that. Overall, clean, fast service, friendly !

Id never had a cheesesteak before I tried Philthy Phillys. OK, the name kind of turned me off, but oh my goodness, what a great steak sandwich. I am hooked! Im going back again this week ... That triple cheese sandwich last week inspired me! My advice, go for onions and provelone for sure. Next time, Ill try cheese whiz, which is supposedly a classic. This place will even work if you are on a keto diet, because they offer a lettuce bun. However, that option doesnt seem to be available on line; you have to pick it up.

Food is great, my wife and I love it there and the workers are always nice especially considering how busy it always is but there is no philthy phillys online ordering options other than the food delivery services like ubereats ($ marked up). They used to answer the phone for orders but last couple/few months it seems like they never answer the phone anymore so if you want to get takeout you either have to use ubereats and pay a big markup or go there and order in person which sometimes takes 30-45 minutes. I understand because they are always busy but at the same time there have been many times lately that we ve pulled in and seen that its full of people and just left. Also they stopped using the philthy phillys points program and I had enough points for a bunch of free food that I was saving up and now I can t use it.

One of the younger guys working there was extremely nice. The food is amazing, definitely recommend their sandwiches and the cheeseburger poutine!

OVER CHARGE YOU MONEY DONT PUT RECEIPT IN BAG Beware I walked in ordered other day little bit of a wait kind got wait for skip orders before yours I placed my order I thought was over charged so I said I will wait for receipt to check . So when I checked poutine box was open bag so my hands got soaked gravey and no receipt I thought was odd. I ordered large Phily cheese steak what a joke that is served on hard Italian bun with maybe extra small amount meat that guy chopped up to ground beef lol forgot cheese then burger is like same size QP from mcdonlads. No flavor very tough eat poutine was ok half frys where rock hard half were ok needs more cheeses and thiner gravey so back to over paying I checked online and I was over charged by 10$ and if I was go trough skip witch is few dollars more items on menu would over charged me 7$ over all pocketed close 10$ pretty sad when have do this wont go back here again BEWARE honest opinion even thoe I was robbed food very low class so is meat rather eat mcdonlads would saved 25$ to top if all off we bought slice cake turns out they are frozen box cake and they must be leaving box open in freezer because has old freezer frost on top just terrible and another flaw no menu take home for 2 years now I asked 2 years ago and again few days ago lol hahhah skip on this place belive me or try it for self and will see lol

The food was great! The price was great! When we arrived there was only one customer ahead of us in the store who was only ordering two items, yet we still waited close to 30 minutes to get our food.
