Margarita Pizza - was 10/10, was a little too well done for me but still great

First visit. Overcrowded with noisy students. Server was great with the kids. We told her we would wait. Service was very good. Food was excellent. Friendly staff. The waitress forgot to give me my change but I would have left it on the table anyway. We are coming back to try their pasta. Ten stars for this place. Came back today earlier than before. Too many kids. We walked out very disappointed. Sadlt this is not a place for seniors to enjoy a quiet meal. It is really for the kids.

Not impressed! Website says $9.95 for a lb of wings. Called to place an order and they tell me theyre $11.95. They didnt honor it so I didnt order. Couldve honored it and make it right and made $$$ but instead you turned down business over your mistake!!! Customer service is terrible!

Came with my friend and enjoyed the pizza and the service. I had the white funghi and right away I knew it will not disappoint me. Not salty, the crust was perfection. I had the poutine for take out and I enjoyed that very much. Its nice supporting the local businesses and this place is highly recommended and will be my goto place. I am from out of the country, from the States. NY to be exact and you already know we take our pizza seriously as New Yorkers. This place was delicious! Pizza tasted just like that NY style! From the cleanliness of the shop to the hospitality given to us by the owner. The chicken wings were DELICIOUS, as were the salad, and fried mozzarella sticks. This place is phenomenal and we will most definitely be coming back! 10/10!!

Dedicated and polite owners make all customers happy. Opened during the pandemic, this shop survived and thrived because of delicious food and friendly dining setup. Its one of the best neighborhoods store in Pickering.

Husband is the chef and has 15+ years experience cooking in Italian restaurants (amici / pizzeria libretto). Green goddess pizza was incredible. Perfect combination of ingredients. They have high reviews for a reason - go check them out and support small business. Price point is right where Id expect for the quality of pizza you get. Looking forward to trying this place again.

This place gives you a different pizza eating experience. Such good quality everything and I can tell because I didn t feel bloated at all or disgustingly full after which you get from artificial/highly processed flours and sugars. Probably best I ve ever had. The crust on the pizza is out of this world. Traditional. Very thin, beautiful bubbles in the dough, cooked to perfection with nice char. Flavours are very tasty like authentic homemade and fresh. Very nice customer service too.

Pizza is the absolute best! It is a beautiful hybrid of gourmet fast food. The other pizza joints cannot compete on the quality of ingredients. The white funghi pizza has chunks of roasted garlic on each slice. Ive never even had that on expensive wood oven pizza. Owners are so pleasant and they ALWAYS stick to 20 mins. An absolute must try. Ive been to Italy and tried pizza all over, I know my pizza. This is great gourmet fast food pizza!!

The food was amazing tastes like real authentic Italian food. I had pizza which was soft on top and crispy on bottom and toppings were delicious also the tiramisu was delicious and nice to have beer it felt more like a restaurant than just a pizza joint. Unfortunately very disappointed with my order! I saw the amazing reviews and was very excited to try out the pizzas with my son tonight. We ordered a margherita pizza and a veggie. The veggie pizza was ok, but the margherita pizza was the most terrible I ve ever had. The entire pizza was drenched in some type of sauce, which tasted disgusting. I couldn t even pick up a slice because it was entirely soaked in this orange sauce as if the pizza wasn t even cooked properly. My son saw the pizza and refused to even try it. Also, the mozzarella sticks tasted as if they ve been fried in old used oil it didn t taste fresh. Unfortunately very disappointed

Pizzeria King was recommended to us to try. We ordered the garlic parm wings and 3 different pizzas. We absolutely loved all of them. Highly recommend and undoubtedly be back very soon! (We have pizza every week, sometimes twice). We will add pastas to our next order and give those a try .

Excellent Pizza joint in Pickering! Was driving by and decided to drop in. Ordered their pizza and wings and I think I found my go to spot in the neighbourhood. I can not believe how disgusting our meal was. We ordered once. Loved it. Ordered a second time. Absolutely disgusting. Our wings came not fresh. They were precooked reheated wings that had ice cold sauce put on them. Our pizza came dry absolutely no sauce just barely cooked. So white the dough no char at all. Limited toppings. Absolute worst experience ever. Don t know how they went from two extremes over two weeks. Never again. Trust me to else where

Not bad, not great. Generous with toppings, but the dough/crust is soggy. Not sure what they re doing wrong, but pizza dough/crust shouldn t be soggy, despite some veggie toppings. The taste is pretty spot on however.

This place is durham hidden gem. High quality and amazing tasting pizza. This location has had numerous businesses come and go but Pizzeria King has taken this place to the next level. The owner has made it as nice as its ever been inside. I used to come here in high school when it was pizza shack and it was basically a hole in the wall. Pizzeria King has exceeded all expectations. When i walked in i was blown away with the transformation. The owner is very hard working and kind and takes pride in his food and establishment. I recommend this place to any pizza & Italian food lover as he serves more than just pizza. 5/5

I took my family here and I will definitely will be coming back. The food was AMAZING! We started off with the arancini rice balls which were freshly made and delicious. We got some wings, which were really great too. We each also got our own pizza and they were fabulous. Great Italian styled crust, flavourful sauce and fresh toppings. I would highly recommend the diaola, meat lovers, and green goddess pizza which my family throughly enjoyed. Food was really hot and fresh. Service was fantastic, the owners are really friendly and came out to talk to us.The main cook even brought me some of his bon bon (homemade) sauce for my pizza. To top it all off the prices are really reasonable for the quantity and quality of pizza you get. We for sure ordered a bit too much but we will be enjoying some leftovers. This place really is the true gem of durham where you will experience excellent food filled with lots of love.

This food place is a excellent source of food and entertainment. The workers are really nice and at your service when you need them. I would highly recommend this store from my personal experiences. Found this place by fluke while looking for a new local joint to try.. Tucked away on Liverpool, just north of Finch, this place is a hidden gem. I got a funghi pizza (alfredo base), another with pesto, sundried tomatoes and red peppers as well as an order of Arancini. Pizza was cooked to perfection, thin crust that was crispy and blistered on the outside and beautiful on the inside.. Dough is delicious and right on par with fancier eat-in pizzerias. Toppings were all high quality from the roasted garlic to the red peppers. Arancini were delicious- crispy, with just the right amount of rice and melted cheese.. on a bed of delicious, beautifully seasoned and spiced sauce. Couldnt believe how good this place was for a pizzeria Id never heard of. Clearly they take pride in making good pies.. and I will definitely be back.

Great little pizza place. Ordered a cheese pizza and the cheese and sauce were really good but the dough was fantastic. Also had a poutine (picture is after half eaten ) and even though it wasnt cheese curds like in Montreal, had a layer of cheese, sauce and fries and another layer after eating the top. Just discovered this little pizza joint tucked away in Liverpoo and had their pizza for the first time, the Diavola. Must say, I was impressed with the crust and how it didnt get soggy but was soft and just the right kind of chewy. The toppings were will balanced and box even had a thin layer of tin foil on the base to keep that pie great. Thats a very underrated move and very well appreciated. The service was very friendly and were assuming this is a wife and husband venture just because of their pride, friendliness and overall welcoming feel. Heck, being a first time customer, they even gave us gelato. Not sure if its homemade or not but you cant go wrong going the extra mile like they did.

Tried this pizza place for the first time last night and it was AMAZING. We tried the Green Goddess - and Im not much for veggies but I really loved it. The crust was so well made and tasted delicious. We also ordered their wings which were good and fries (Costco but still good). We will be going back for sure.

By far the best pizzeria in the Pickering area. We are so happy we found a place so close by. Pizza is the bomb here, wings always hot and fresh. We don t go anywhere else anymore . This is a must try 100% recommend this place.

Love this place. Tried it for the first time last week and had to go back again today. Their crust is impossibly thin and chewy. No need to order the thin crust. Ordered the Green goddess... But it has chicken, the meat lovers and the Margherita. You wont be disappointed with any of their pizzas Met one of the owners today as well and he was super nice. They opened during the pandemic and have been going strong ever since. I pretty much applied to work there today! Theyre looking for pizza makers!

Ordered 3 pizzas and all were delicious! Owner is very friendly. Welcome addition to the neighbourhood - our go-to spot moving forward for sure

When I first read 5 stars out of 26 reviews my first thought was sure this guy has a lot of loving family members ! So I decided to try this 5 star pizza out today It s a 5 star pizza! My standard pie is the Canadian (pep bacon mush) well done Pizza was perfectly cooked ingredients were super fresh I can honestly say I don t think I ve had a better Canadian pizza anywhere?? For me the key to any good pizza is the crust the crust was thin but not too thin and the crust ends tasted like fresh Ace bakery baguettes it had the same fluffiness taste and chew. Everybody s pizza preference is different but my opinion the best I ve had in Durham

Ordered two Margherita pizzas on a 2 for 1 offer. The dough was pretty good, the sauce was subdued but you can tell the pizza on the whole was fresh. Having said that i was underwhelmed by it. The fior di latte was very runny and the consistency wasnt really to my liking. As a result the cheese was all over the pizza box. Possibly made worse by the delivery but its not that big of a deal. Ill probably try some other pizza to get a better sense of Pizzeria King, but for my first attempt i was expecting better from the reviews Id read.

Barstool make your way to Canada as this pizza is the best around.

Great pizza and wings for a more than reasonable price. Any time I order I get amazing service from a small family-run business, way better than those chain pizza restaurants, definitely recommend!
