Disgusting place, like no one has ever mopped the floors. Even the menus are dirty, felt like they used them as floor mats. Bathrooms were filthy and stank like urine. One of the staff members spent the entire time smoking shisha, and texting. 1000% would not recommend.

Their shisha is so bad. One of the worst places I have ever tried! The shisha was burned even before I smoked it, I am sure that they don t wash the shisha properly either. Cant believe it ,these people the shisha tast very bad. I opened the head. I saw the tobacco was burned already. So they are using the tobacco 2 or 3 times they dont tell you, so please if you feel the shisha tastes bad open the head, make sure they put new ones for you. They are mixing it old burned with the new tobacco, to save money. Oh my God. I call the stuff they told me. If you dont like it. You can Go, they didnt even bother to fix it. Rude stuff and dont trust.

My grandfather would be able to hit a workout, (stretch first of course), shower and get ready for dinner, have dinner, brush his teeth and get to bed, before the waitress or waiter brings you a drink. Also the waitresses think that youre trying to hit on them while youre trying to get their attention for an order...? Lose the pride and use your legs to get from A to B.

Took 40 minutes to get 2 smoothies and took an extra 20 minutes too give change. Food looked disgusting, bathroom had low hygiene, sisha didnt work, and table wasnt even clean. 0/10 never go again.

Solid average shisha lounge, great food is the best thing going for them. The Shisha itself was on the lower end of quality, blue mist didnt taste as good as other lounges Ive been to, that was a bit disappointing or else it wouldve been an easy 5 star my go to place.

The shisha quality is hit or miss. One of the waiters disrespected my friend. The two person booth is very uncomfortable due to the fact that you can not speak to the other person infront of you because the tables are huge and the music is too loud. The green tea seems like it s been out sitting for hours and tasted just like hot water. Onetime we ordered crepe and there was a hair in it and out of reflex we pulled the hair out and threw it aside and when we called the waiter she did not believe us and did not refund us. The washrooms are absolutely disgusting. And the disgusting smell comes out of the washroom into the seating area.

Lights very dim and music soooooo loud I couldnt hear anything from my friends around me we had to make a conversation with a very loud voice to hear each other. Lower the music a bit and make lights a bit brighter and it would be perfect. Coffee is just tasting like water. Try to serve Turkish coffee would be nice.

My friends and I have been here a couple times. The waitress who was working yesterday at night did a great job serving my large group! I was actually inquiring for my cousins, not myself because 4 of us were going there today. Not anyone. This is Canada and you dont speak to people like that.

Manager is a prick who thinks hes privileged to yell at people when you ask simple questions. If you dont like your job dont work that job, find another job! Customers beware and I personally will be avoiding this place as well as the 1000s of friends and family I had notified! Some many restaurants have such nice, kind, caring mangers but this place strictly sucks! Upsetting how the manger thinks hes above everyone and doesnt treat you like a human. Horrible customer service. You have to wait 30 minutes for a drink after you ask them several times. Not to forget how it wasnt even busy and they showed customers they dont care. Me and my friends all were confused as to why they werent responding on time. Asked the server abt Chefs recommendation and he replied nothing is good here. Later we learned that he was a family member of the owner. This was shocking as he should have been very mindful of customer service. Food came after 45 mins. Lasagne was salty, Shawarma Chicken was dry and Alfredo tasted like homemade. We were very disappointed. Will never return again.

It is a decent place; they have good food, shisha,and atmosphere to go with. Now lets talk prices... they dont have the best of prices, it is a little pricey but it is worth it for some things such as the calamari appetizer and Shawarma patter for two.

Food: fettuccine Alfredo Shisha flavor : Guava Mint Additive: ice base, ice hose, coconut coals Went at 7 pm on a Sunday it was pretty empty but I didnt mind it no needing to shout over other people and music, the food was average price is fair and Id say its reasonable for the price. Shisha was the price of 2 meals but thats fine since on a date we split food and hooka came to around 90 kind expensive for 2 people but it was fun. Id definitely come back with a party to divide up the bill of the hooka Flavor of the guava mint was lack luster and Id definitely recommend you skip that one in my opinion. I much more prefer the blue mist out of the 2 that I had tried. They had much more flavors to try and additives to mix with. Overall I enjoyed the experience its a group setting I believe with multiple people it would be a better experience.

No vaping inside, what a joke! Hookah allowed vaping not allowed. Wow! No sign inside saying No vaping. You can have a sign inside saying No outside food and drinks allowed but cant have sign saying No Vaping allowed and asking customers to follow the sign posted outside on a corner of the glass door saying No vaping No smoking That sign does not even reads not allowed inside, its generic sign issued by Ontario. So why hooka is allowed? Hookah is smoking too, we dont drink hooka. To make it worse, you attempted to physically threat. Heads up to all visiting, the guy is ill-mannered and arrogant on his business.

Well I went there for take out. Ordered 3 pastas. Was informed that it would take 15 minutes. But had to wait 40. It was not a busy hour and only one table was occupied with 4 people. Wouldnt have been so bothered about the wait only if atleast my order was correct. When I checked my order after reaching back home 2 of the 3 pastas were not what I ordered. Anyways couldnt drive all the way back so had whatever it was. Price is a bit on higher side compared to the portion but sure thats for the dine in ambience. Taste is just okish not really something to try again.

Overall its a good place to chill and service is good. The shisha is decent but I ve noticed it burns out quick. We tried the kiwi paan and it wasn t that intense. The food tastes very good, however it s on the expensive side, especially the appetizers and dessert.

Shisha quality here has really fallen over the months (1.5/10), they don t clean their shisha (you can tell by the water in the base). Customer service front desk employee (young short guy with the curly hair, Skinny moustache and walks funny, no uniform) talked to us like we were friends/high school mates? Not sure where the business etiquette is there. The atmosphere and look of the place is nice, nice paintings and TV s are great! Food quality is also great, but kind of small portions. Unfortunately, every time I have visit we are either left waiting to order, the waitress forgets something, or they just never decide to return and check up on us. The service here is the worst I ve ever received anywhere. I was seated today and the waitress left us for over 20 minutes before she even bothered to ask us what we d like to order. We stayed patient and ordered our desert and shisha, but in the end we were never served our shisha. We just wanted to come in for a short visit tonight and we were really looking forward to those two things. Even after we finished our desert, the waitress never came back to check up on us even though the place was not busy! We were eventually fed up and walked to the front desk to pay for our dessert. A very disappointing night. It s as if these waitresses have no training. Volcano needs to improve their service and have the waitresses check up on their customers because their is only 1 waitress here that ever bothers to return to your table... so if you get the others, good luck!

Had a meal on the patio here a couple days ago. Giving it 2 stars since the customer service was excellent and the server was so helpful. Unfortunately the food was just not good. Rice was dry, chicken was also overcooked. Ambiance in the restaurant / patio was nice but overall the food was subpar.

Yesterday we went to this place as we were here last week too. Last week the blonde curly hair waitress really provided a great service and was checking on us and every other customer continuously, hence we came back for the same amazing service and food. But last night the waitress with black hair ruined it all, she was really arrogant and did not provide a good service. From water to food to eveything else we had to call her and calling her was such a big task as she never looked towards customer. She would not bother to come near and ask if we need anything. As if this waitress does not know how to work in a restaurant. Note for the owner: please look into it. As yesterday you lost 7 customers because of this waitress.

Every Monday Im out with my family delivering the Durham region and we search for a good restaurant to dine in. We searched on Google and found the name of the place very interesting. We did call them to ask if they have a place for family dining as they had Shisha on the menu and they mentioned that patio is the only option and we said ok, even though it was 15degrees outside and misty. We arrived and the staff was very accommodative and she made us feel comfortable. The food menu had to be scanned on the phone and it was good. The food was really tasty. My kids loved it. The best part was the dessert. I ordered a chocolate cheesecake and it was very well presented on a big plate. And the taste was just amazing. All of us pounced on to it immediately. Small place, good food, only flaw is that inside it was completely smoked with Shisha and you got hold your breath on your way to use the washroom, if you are a non smoker. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

The food menu literally has everything on it from burgers to poutine to full platters, try the mix platter it was too good The shisha was very smooth and lasted a very long time. Nutella milkshake was good ! But service was horrendous never checked on once in our over an hour visit . Had to flag down multiple times and took extended periods of time to received a bottled beer and the milkshakes. Was referred to come here and had high hopes, but very disappointed oh also employees playing poker is probably not the best look for the place either .

This shisha place is what Durham needed. Amazing shisha that puffs clouds and doesn t burn out after an hour, literally everything on the menu is fantastic especially the deserts and the amazing service you get. My server who I believe name was Kai had a vast knowledge in making flavours and made me the most amazing shisha mix and had the type of attitude and service that makes me want to come back. The place is truly a Gem in Durham and I highly suggest you only go here for a shisha experience.

You can t find better customer service than from these guys, if they make a mistake they will go above and beyond to make it up to you. Love love love The only thing I would like for them to do is to play more Arabic music but other than that it s a wonderful place.

Good place to chill out

Went to the Volcano Cafe & Lounge early last week with a coworker on a weeknight. It was both of our 1st time there. Inside was spacious and nice colour scheme. There was a wait list to sit indoors because of Covid Restrictions, as only 10 people permitted to sit indoors. They had a 1 hour sitting time limit to sit indoors, I personally wouldn t sit at any shisha lounge for just an 1 hour. The average sitting time limit for Shisha Lounges in non-lockdown Regions all over GTA is 1.5 hours. 1 hour isn t really much time. There was no sitting time limit for patio. We decided to sit outside, in an enclosed patio tent (part of it was open). A stand up heater was set up for us, right beside our table. The veggie pizza was awesome. The servers were friendly and gave great customer service. Will come again when Covid restrictions eases. Would like to try their other food items and other shisha flavours. Thanks Volcano! :)
